MSCRM 2013 : Ribbon Command Bar enable/disbale on chang of selecting record?

Hi,
I'm working on requirement to enable or disbale the command bar button on the Ribbon ,Form and Record.
I have a custom entity Sales Updates, in that I need to do changes like
1. Entity Ribbon(no record selected) then I have to show New,Export to Excel command buttons.
2.Entity Ribbon(record selected) then I have to show/Enable Edit,Activate
and Delete buttons.
3.Record Opend then I have show/enable Save , Save and Close and
New buttons.
Above rules I need to implement based upon the security roles.
Any help will be appreciated for the above.

That was actually 2013, not a few days ago. I have not been using the Access Web App as the project it was for went in another direction.
BUT I will look back over my other forum posts about this to see if anyone got back to me with a fix.

We must close office applications to get back to a normal state.

First, please make sure your Office program is fully patched.
If you installed any third-part program that is integrated to Microsoft Office, please temporarily disable the integration to check the result. Also try to disable all add-ins in Office programs to check the result.
In addition, please try to run a repair of your Office installation and then test the issue again:

Disabling command bar IDs in Project 2013

Unlike the rest of the Office 2013 group policy admin templates, there doesn't appear to be anyway to disable command bar IDs using the Project 2013 admin template. Is there any reason for this and/or is there anyway to disable command bar IDs in

According to your description, I have tested to check the "Office2013grouppolicyandoctsettings.xlsx", but I can't find the "Disableitemsinuserinterface". Thus, I checked the
article, Policy settings for disabling user interface items are unavailable for Project 2013.
I also try to add the "Disableitemsinuserinterface"
manually to Porj15 ADMX template, but no successful.

PDF Maker Icon on Office 2013 Ribbon

XI Pro installed. Windows 7 64 bit. Trying to get PDF Maker Icon on Office 2013 ribbon. In Add-ins, PDFMaker is an active ofifce Com add-in.

The pdfmaker plugin does not get enabled with the base version 11.0

I've lost my menu bar and command bar. How do I get them back?

Now that they're gone, right clicking does not bring up an option to re-enable them.
By "command bar" I mean the edit box where you enter a new website. Maybe it's called the address bar.

Hi，
So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers.
if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

After reviewing the whole post, I have a question to you. You can access the report via the link, http://myServer/Reports_DEVPROJECT/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fData+Mgmt%2fSample+Letter.
From the URL, I can see that the report is located at: /Data Mgmt/Sample Letter, instead of /DataMgmt/Sample Letter. In addition, I found that the target report is "/DataMgmt/Sample HAP Letter" instead of "/DataMgmt/Sample Letter" as the error described. I
am not sure whether you post out the correct code segment.
Please check the above things on your side, and hope it is helpful to you.

I can not uninstall Office 2013 from command line

Hi, I have been stuck for a while trying to uninstall Office 2013 via command line. Installation file was downloaded from Volume Licensing Service Center, Uninstall.xml file for silent uninstallation looks like this:

From command line the following will not work:
setup /uninstall ProPlus /config .\ProPlus.ww\Uninstall.xml
Error: Setup can not find or validate an installation file. Please try reinstalling Office . . .
setup /uninstall ProPlus gives me GUI to continue process - it seems /config .\ProPlus.ww\Uninstall.xml part does not work as it should be
This is very important to me since I used above command line in SCCM 2012 R2 to allow user to uninstall Office 2013 by itself via Software Center. When this failed I tried locally but the error was the same. This should have been trivial task - silent uninstallation
using .xml file. It is not a rocket science. I am very angry because losing time for something like this is unacceptable for system engineers working with SCCM 2012 R2.

This error might occurs due to lots of reasons. Where is the installation file stored? If it's stored on a network share, please copy it to your local disk, and then manually run the command again. This way, we'll see if the installation file is the
problem.
If issue persists in this case, then this generally means that something wrong with the installation file. Please try to redownload it and then try again.
Please also make sure that you're executing the command with elevated privileges (run as administrator).

I accidentally deleted the toolbar and command bar and everything that is above the tabs. How do I get it back?

I accidentally deleted everything above the tabs: toolbar, command bar etc. and now I have no idea how to get it back. Can anyone please help me?

The command bar in IE is situated to the right of the tabs. They include the following:- HOME, NO FEEDS DETECTED, READ MAIL, PRINT, PAGE, SAFETY, TOOLS, and ? This command bar is missing in Mozilla Fire Fox. There is a download called VISTA-AERO but it appears to be incompatible in Fire Fox. To me the command bar is useful so I miss it.
The menu bar is totally different to the command bar. That sits to the top left of the screen. It seems to me from the answers that are posted refer to the menu bar. The way that the answers are written are helpful to those that lose the menu bar but is not helpful to the people who are missing the command bar.
I, like the others who miss the command bar would like a solution to obtaining a compatible command bar in Fire Fox please. Any body have any suggestions please.

Command bar in CS4

Hi all! In CS3 InDesign have command bar. But in Cs4 don't have. Why?

It's been removed. Most people didn't know it was there and many of the
ones that did know, didn't bother using it.
It was a relic from Pagemaker. And before you go off on me, I used it

[uzbl] how do I clear the command bar after following a link? [SOLVED]

It's ridiculous that I've done this again, but I've forgotten how to have uzbl automagically clear the command bar after I fl something. Yes, I know at some point it was on uzbl's wiki page; yes, I did compare my old and new configs; yes, I'm a dork and I'm just not finding the answer.

The only part of diff that has anything to do with this is:
< @on_event LOAD_START chain '@set_status <span foreground="khaki">wait</span>' 'event KEYCMD_STRIP_WORD'
> @on_event LOAD_START @set_status <span foreground="khaki">wait</span>
The rest is either stuff that I've commented out for now or key bindings, personal settings, etc.
The follow link code is working now the way that it was before with the above changes. With the old way (as posted above) it wreaks all sorts of havoc with uzbl. By that I mean that the command bar would seem to clear but the data would reappear as soon as another command would start to be entered. As well, backspacing to the beginning of the command line would send uzbl to follow URLs that I didn't specify.
By the way, no matter if the above is hackish or not, it's close to what I want. The only thing left would be for ESC to clear the numbers if I chose not to do go somewhere. Is there a way to set this up without breaking other functionality?

PSE 6 - Cannot See Command Bar at Top in Editor

I am using Elements 6 Editor and I hit some button and the editing screen "enlarged" so that I can't see the commands along the top (file, edit, image, etc...) - it stays this way when I re-open it. I've tried every scroll bar and nothing works. My DPI is still set at 96, so that's not the issue. Help!

Thanks Barbara - that worked. Out of curiosity, I entered PSE and I clicked the "maximize" button in the upper right corner - it goes to the unusable missing command bar layout. I ran the ctrl+alt+shift again and now I will manually enlarge the window. Wierd.

How to copy one user-created Group from one tab to another tab in word 2013 Ribbon

hi Friends
in Word 2013 Ribbon, i have created a customized Tab & a customized Group within it which contains some stuff.
i need this Group & all its contents be copied also to another tab (for example Home tab).
is there any workaround to copy it to another tab?
i know i can customize the ribbon, create new Group, find each desired item & add each one to group... but i don't want to do this method because is time consuming & is creating from scratch which is not desired
any solution?

As far as I know, we can only export the entire ribbon and QAT with the build-in Export functionality in Microsoft Office, not just part of it.
However, the exported Customizations.ExportedUI file is a XML text file. We may try to modify the
Customizations.ExportedUI file to achieve the goal. See:

Command bar

i lost my command bar at the top of my comcast home page.How do I get it back?

If you are using Internet Explorer there are 2 ways to get it back.
1) Place your cursor in an empty spot just above the address bar. RIGHT click. Then click Command bar to check it.
OR
2) If you have the Menu bar (File, Edit, Favorites, Tools, Help) click on View.
Choose Toolbars. Click Command bar to check it.
Either method will restore the command bar.

Ie 11 command bar

Is there a way to move the command bar, in IE 11, from the left side to the right side? dragging from the separator doesn't work.

Based on my test, If you show Favorites bar and Command bar in the same row, then you can move the Command bar to the right side. Just like the image below:
