MSI 6850 OC Edition Black Screen when playing Crysis Warhead

Random crashes in Crysis Warhead DX10. It also happened once in Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath DX9.
I get a black screen monitor turns off and the sound goes buzz the system then hangs. The reset button wont work. The MSI LED BIOS code displays C2. Power off then on. The system is stable 2 hours Prime95 CPU only hits 150F. Ran Furmark GPU stable test 1 hour. Turned the fan to manual and set to high the gpu stays around 70c with Furmark GPU. Memtest overnight. No problems. Tried CAT 10.12 10.11 10.10 the MSI downloaded version. Nothing. Clean drivers out. I updated SPTD to 1.75 from per another posts advice. Seems something is really wrong with the drivers and rendering certain objects reboots the card. The card is rock solid on stablity tests and Futuremarks benchtests.
Nvidia Physx game driver uninstalled. Still crashes
Now testing it with SPTD uninstalled. Running tests have my doubts.

OCZ AMD Special 4GB 1600
MSI 6850 Stock OC Version
WIN 7 x64 Pro

For those MSI motherboard people. Why would the LED Motherboard light say 2C or maybe it was C2. Why would the system not reboot with the reset button. The 6850 card some how goes in to lala land.

I have a similar problem! Windows 7 shutdown unexpectedly and since that I can not reboot in windows anymore only with safe mode where everything is a mess.
Also when it's trying to reboot in windows a blue window appears,says something about drivers and it is counting something (79.78...till100)but I m not able to read it cause it disappears immidiately and then black screen and then it turns to reboot in mac which works fine.
I m sorry if I confused you with my english...

Why do I have a black screen when playing back TV shows?

I am running Win 7, and iTunes 10.7. Recently, when trying to play back episodes on my PC of a TV show that I purchased, the playback screen is black, with no video or audio. The time counter is counting down the clock as if it's playing, but there's nothing to see or hear. If I re-boot my PC, the show will play properly, but the black-screen instance has occurred several times now, and I'd like to figure out why it's happening at all.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

When I try to play any videos on PC all that will show is a black screen.
Can here the audio but video screen is completely black.

When playing Rt GR the screen gets Black and after like 3 seconds it comes back to Normal. Does the phone have a defect or something? And another question is about The 3 buttons : The green, The White and The Red. Dear Sir, yes, I have bought 5800 two days ago and found the same problems. it's not Iphone the touchscreen is bad or software is bad or the same. you should always press wtice on any button and it reacts bad way tell the truth. About your problem with white button I think it';s normal for this thing and your black screen is because of law capacity of the hardware in this phone. I'm dissapointed with this phone

ITunes Black screen when playing 1080P

Hello, when I play an 1080p TV show downloaded from iTunes, I periodicaly get audio and no video, just a black screen. I'm running on a 2011 27" iMac. Any thoughts?

When the issue happens, it affects both 720 and 1080 playback. SD plays fine.

Premiere CS4 exported videos for ipod all show black screen when played

Hi,
I am trying to export a video for an ipod from an mp4 source file.
The project settings are set to ipod and so are the export settings. I get a normal video file (mp4) with the right resolution etc. The sync with itunes works without problems and i get the right thumbnail of the video in the Ipod menu.
But when i try to play the video i only get a black screen, the timer is running and i have sound.
I think i have tried all the possible settings. None of them worked.
Can you help me? Where is the problem?

Black screen while playing video in itunes

I am currently running itunes 11.1.2.32 on a windows 8.1 (64 bit) pc. I had to reinstall itunes when switching from 8.1 preview to 8.1 due to download issues. I now have a black screen when playing videos in itunes. Audio still works. Suggestions?

I've had the same problem. Tried switching from the built in Intel video to an nVidia graphics card, reinstalled cursed a lot.
Finally got it working the hard ware. Built a virtual XP machine (like the SP support system in Windows 7). Installed itunes in the virtual machine and can now watch my movies and tv shows. Both itunes and Windows 8.1 seem to be "not ready for prime time". I wish MS wouldn't have tried to make a computer look like a cell phone/pad.

Not sure if this Term is Relevant towards an iPhone but, my iPhone won't Post unless if it's plugged into a Charger.

Press and hold the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB - Black Screen When trying to load games

Ok so I've been trying to figure this out the past 2 weeks and cant figure out whats wrong.
Whenever I try and load a game more my screen goes black and I can hear sound but nothing is is being displayed. I cant task manager out or ALR-TAB out. It just sits there and I have to power down my computer manually.
I've re-installed the drivers and have tried a different power supply since those are the 2 things I thought it would be and nothing is working.
Any help would be very much appreciated

Yes.
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

If it's just a black screen and no exclamation mark in the middle then it's likely a permission issue.
Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
select the options identified in the screenshot.

My iphone 4s goes to a black screen when in use of any apps. after the update to ios6 any ideas for a fix?

Since i updated to ios 6 my iphone goes to a black screen when it is in use. I could be texting and 5-10 sec later it goes to a black screen and than to the home page. Its also will be when playing games and so on. Can you please help me with this? I have tried resetting my phone, press the home button 2 time and canceling any running apps and even press home and powering button and still does the same thing. I need help!!!! My Macbook Pro has a black screen when running in Bootcamp Windows 7. Since I updated the mac side my windows side now starts up with completely black screen - no prompt, nothing, Cap keys still light up as does mouse and DVD drive seems to run.

Specifically, the posts by Dunsany and valkyr did the trick. I booted in safe mode, uninstalled and deleted the Nvidia driver, disabled automatic driver installation, and restarted normally. I then manually downloaded and installed the previous Nvidia driver for my graphics card (which at the time of this writing was 335.23, rather than the latest which was 337.88), and everything is now bueno!
Two hiccoughs along the way: First, when I tried to uninstall the Nvidia driver the first time, when I restarted I got the login screen (which was a good sign), but it quickly went black again. I powered down, restarted in safe mode again, and repeated the uninstallation process, and it worked the second time. Second, when I started the manual install of the 335.23 driver, the computer played a sound similar to the one for disconnecting a USB device, and the screen went black. I'd seen a lot about trying to increase the brightness (though it hadn't worked up to this point; but if you haven't tried it yet, might as well); I tried it, and it worked! So far I'm back up and running. [/fingers crossed]
