Msi Board Z77A-GD55 bios corrupted and my pc now keep infinite rebooting HELP!!

before this happen it's rebooting but i can get to the bios and i tried to update it with the same version in the board and it reach 100% after that it keeps rebooting and i couldn't enter to the bios again. sorry my english is bad

If possible RMA the board. If not, ask local store if they can reflash BIOS for you.

Installing OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo) and it froze, now won't reboot - Help anyone?

The software update needed about 30 minutes to download and did so with no problems. While initializing and "moving things into place" everything froze and I had no choice but to hold down the power button and try to reboot.
Now, the OS will NOT reboot, I can however, choose to use the Command-R keys and restore from TimeMachine or try to Repair from the DiskUtility. I wanted to find out if there was another way before going to these options, any suggestions?

With some patience and a lot of thought, I was able to reboot my computer without any glitches. Here's how I did it,
If you are using Lion there's a recovery mode: while restarting your computer hold down Command-R key which will bring up several options, re-install, restore via TimeMachine, disk utility etc. and an option to connect via Wi-Fi if needed.
These are great options, however, I didn't want to use any of those options (didn't want to erase my drive, didn't want to re-install etc. etc.). I decided to use the Safe-Boot option, in addition to a bunch of other tricks.
1. I powered down the computer
2. Removed the battery and let everything cool down
3. Put the battery back in place
4. Removed all peripheral devices, USB cables etc. except the power cable
5. Pressed the Power Button and held the Shift key down - this is "Safe Mode"
6. Once the computer booted in Safe Mode, I used Disk Utility and Verified my Disk which ran a diagnostics test to make sure everything was running smoothly. The test should tell you if everything is ok, if not click Repair disk.
7. Since all was good, I did one last double check on applications that start up on login
8. I then powered down by turning the computer off - Shut Down
9. Waited about 5 minutes and powered up again.
10. Everything's working fine and making sure TimeMachine is on schedule for another backup.
Advice: Wait before you download the Client Combo! And read exactly what it does, if you feel it doesn't apply to your computer don't download it and wait. (For example, if you are using only Mac apps - no Microsoft apps, then don't download an update that fixes a glitch in Microsoft Word).

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

Download the CS6 installer from this link it should install on any machine the meets the specs. Even without a serial it should install as a trial version. If CS6 was activated on your system your CS6 credentials should still be there and when you install it should be activated. Then use CS6 menu Help>Updates to install the updated, CS6 installs need to be updated.

Thank you very much! I actually tried doing that with a paper clip but was not successsful. I feel I tried plugging in the clip in in every possible way and it still did not work. BIOS CORRUPTED HP Elitebook 8530w Now it can't swicth ON

Please I need your help as soon as possible i am at the age of 16 and this is how my problem occurred.
One day I switched on my laptop and i received a error message BIOS CORRUPTED then I clicked F1 to continue while ignoring a very crucial message, When I shutdown my laptop and I switched it ON again I realised my laptop could not switch ON all it did was show those led lights and it didn't show anymore I don't know what the problem is and one more thing the screen did not go ON...I am not sure if your company has experienced this issue but the message should get through. PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP.

Z77a-GD55 Bios flash freezes/hangs MFLASH

Mobo is currently on bios Version 1.9
when ever i try to flash a bios from usb using MFLASH the system hangs, it hangs just after i select "UEFI FILE TO FLASH"
This always happens, ive tried different Usb sticks, i've downloaded the Bios from different Browsers, clearing cmos but i still get the same result
the weird part is that when i press ctrl alt delete the system reboots

Your are not 'forced' to do anything! The forum USB flash method works. If you don't want to use it, then that is your decision. Here is the link to MSI Technical Support so you can ask them about it;

is there a page somewhere with definitions to what the options in the oc section of the bios are?
only i cant find one and the manual isnt great.

Z77A-GD55 BIOS 1.9 - Keyboard not working in POST

Hi,
I just upgraded BIOS to 1.9. I am using 1HDD + SSD in Intel RST (SSD Cache), UEFI booting
After BIOS upgrade keyboard is not functional until Windows boot up. When I try to press DEL or F11 nothing happens. Numlock are not reacting. Tryed USB and PS/2 keyboard with same result.
The big problém is, that I do reset in Windows boot sequence and now, Windows shows menu "reapair Windows boot" and "boot normally". The default is repair with timeout 30 sec and keyboard is not working.
So There is no way to boot Windows for me....
The strange is, that when I disconnect HDD and SSD then keyboard is working in POST normally.
Help please...

Restored B575 and it is now missing Windows 7, help?

I restored it towards the end of December and in the middle of it, it encountered and error and said to restart it. When i restarted it, it had just passed the initial loading screen when it popped up saying windows failed to start with the status error : 0xc000000f

Time machine extremely slow and size of backup keeps increasing. please help!

I bougth a external hard drive form western digital, MyBook World Edition, and at first it was working fine, I make a first backup with time machine and it was perfect. last month when I entered time machine to check my backups they were all gone, and now I've been trying to make a new backup but it's moving really slow, like less then 2Gb per hour, and also it seems as it's over but them the size of the backup keeps changing (as soon as it reaches the whole size it gets bigger) Don't know what to do, I haven't changed anything in the system or anything.
The hard driver is connected to a router and I connect to it trhough my wireless network.
ps: sorry my bad english I'm not a native speaker.

UPDATE: It's now trying to do a backup of 31.7MB. It's stuck at 993KB (first it was stuck at 8 bytes, then at 87 bytes, then 88KB), but it took a really long time to get there. So now it looks like it's just slow no matter what. I haven't been keeping track, but it may have been stuck on 993KB now for around 40 minutes.
