MSI FM2A75AI-E53- No HDMI video signal

Problem is that i can't get video out of HDMI-port. VGA-port is working normally. Catalyst does notice my LG-hdtv from both VGA and HDMI-ports and I can expand/copy my desktop but still no video out of HDMI-port.
I have already tried the following:
New Catalyst
New BIOS
IGP/PEG change from BIOS
two different HDMI-cables
attach it to my Onkyo av-receiver
Components:
AMD A10-5800K
Corsair CML8GX3M2A2133C11B (2*4gb)
MSI FM2A75AI-E53
Silverstone SST-ST45SF-PSU
OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 240GB SSD
Win8 64 Pro

Have you set your 'LG-hdtv' to the correct input source (ie HDMI)?

  • Brand New ATV3 - No HDMI video signal.

Brand New (2013) ATV3 - No HDMI video signal when plugging it in to my TV (Toshiba 52" LED).
Ive tried 3 different HDMI cables in 3 different HDMI inputs in various configurations. Still no video.
Ive tried power cycling ATV and my TV, and changing resolutions using the Apple remote - Still nothing.
Ive seen serveral forums offering many but unhelpful options.
Yes, my TV is set to the same HDMI input as the HDMI cable is plugged into.
    Please help?

You tried difference HDMI cables, different HDMI ports, cycled the ATV, confirmed optical audio output works. Do you have another HDTV to plug in and test? If ATV video fails to appear in this case, I would say that this would confirm the Apple TV HDMI output is broken given the extensive troubleshooting you have already performed. In my opinion, this would completely isolate the diagnosis as ATV malfunction. Did you purchase it via Apple or Third party? Apple will replace the device within 14 days no questions asked, or service it within one year. If third party, contact them regarding your coverage.
How long is my Apple TV covered by Apple’s warranty?
Apple's Limited Warranty for Apple TV covers your Apple TV for one year. Warranty service for eligible repairs is available at no charge for twelve months from the date of original retail purchase ("date of purchase").

  • KDL26M4000 HDMI no signal

For six months plus, each time I turn on my Sony TV, no picture.  Message on screen:  HDMI No signal.
When I reconnect the HDMI cable, the picture is very good.  Same problem when switching to HDMI2 with Sony remote, setting, to designate port.  Two calls 7/13/2015 to Sony Customer Service yielded no solution; advised to check connection.  What instrument can I purchase to test HDMI cable without buying another HDMI cable and not needing.  Called AT&T when I had U-verse and DirecTV which is now used.  No solution offered.   Post under Picture & Sound?  Not a sound issue. TV manufactured Sep 2008.  Any suggestions?

Thanks DaveJ.  Thanks and ref your advice "Try a different device that can receive an HDMI video signal using the same HDMI Cable (e.g. TV).  A local tv repair shop (Deal TV Service) tested my Sony TV and HDMI cable and advised "working just fine".  I don't seem to have another device to test other than my Panasonic DVD recorder which has component cables going to TV.  DirecTV shipped me new HDMI cable and component cables 7/29/2015 which I connected but have same problem of no picture with screen message "HDMI No Signal".  I've tried HDMI 1 and 2 on TV using Sony remoted control to specify port.  DirecTV advised 7/30/2015 they will ship another main black box.  When I had AT&T U-verse priior to 3/30/2015 I had same problem.  Each time I reseat HDMI cable, there is a delay and a perfect TV picture appears.  A real mystery.  Could problem be Panasonic DVD player recorder?  How to test further including cables?  My TV and DVD player recorder are way out of warranty but wish I could talk with Sony knowledgeable tech support but only can get customer service.  Looking for more indepth resources.  Signal level issue(s) ?  7/31/2015.

  • Sony HT-SS2300 Home Theatre System Problem w/Video signal on TV Monitior

My Panasonic HD/Plasma TV will not pick up the HDMI video signal coming from the home theatre system. The TV monitor picture blinks in and out. I have a Comcast HD box (Motorola) What do I need to do to fix. I had the HDMI cable from the Motorola box to the HDMI Sat In connection. I then ran a HDMI out connection from the Home Theatre system to the TV HDMI in. Is ther a work around?
I also purchased a Samsung blue ray disc player. Can I still use the HDMI connection to the Home Theatre system from the Blue Ray HDMI and the the HDMI out to the HDMI input to the TV? This is getting confusing?
    Please help.

Ok I feel your collective pain, really. We have apple tv 2 with optical out to amp and hdmi into the tv. My wife and I both have iPads, iPhones, Mac book pro etc. sometimes the volume control would be on apple remote (at bottom, left to right slider) and we would be punching the air saying how much we love this technology. And then.......often the volume control would disappear then we couldn't get it working at all today. I have just gone through all our devices and changed the apple user name and password to my wife's user name on iTunes.....BANG.....everything is working perfect now. We have each others iTunes and apple tv now on all remotes WITH volume control. This would explain why it was so intermittent. Try this and see if it makes a difference. Even if you have a device, say iPad, that you didn't think you would use as a remote, make sure you put in the same apple I'd and password across all devices. To change it on iPad go to settings then music or iPod on ipad1 and use the same username.
    Good luck and happy tunes.

Hi, a year ago I build my computer, a gaming PC, and everything works fine until a few days ago, exactly one year after the build, I was on mi pc when suddenly all freeze out, the video and the sound I just had to press the shutdown button, when I start the pc again it just start like 3 seconds and restart infinitely.
After a web search I start to think that the PSU was the problem but after more research looks like the motherboard was the problem so I take out the battery and put it back and start the pc.
The PC starts again, but another problem begin after that there is no video signal. The monitor doesn’t show any image I try to disconnect the Graphic card but nothing I press the button of the Motherboard to reset it but still the same I can’t solve the problem but there is more, after the PC start it stays ON like a minute and then restart again but the second time no restart anymore.
    Any suggestion ?

So now you can boot with no auto restart, but without display?
You tried with IGD (on-board display)?
Maybe try another monitor or cable,
and use only one RAM stick w/ different slots to boot.

  • 46SL412U Sudden No Video Signal for all HDMI Ports

My daughters and I were playing the Wii U tonight on our Toshiba 46SL412U LED TV when suddenly the picture when black and the No Video Signal message came up.  I changed out the HDMI cable thinking the cable went bad, but still no picture.  I power cycled the TV, still nothing.  I am also not getting any picture with any of my other devices that are hooked up via HDMI port (BluRay player, Chromecast).  Oddly, the REGZA-LINK still recognized that the BluRay and Chromecast are plugged in and switches to the correct input when I power either of them on, but i'm still getting the No Video Signal message.
Is there a setting I've missed that suddenly changed, or did all of my HDMI inputs suddenly go bad?  What can I do to fix this issue?

To check the Graphics card's funtionality you may go to BIOS menu and see if is it listed or not; if yes, then it's working, and you may have to check the video/HDMI cables.
Try to boot the PC without connecting any device other than monitor, power cable, mouse and keyboard.

  • Toshiba 32C120U "no video signal" from my Mac Mini using HDMI to HDMI.

My Toshiba 32" 32C120U is not getting video signal from my Mac Mini. I bought the Mini for my son and this is his TV. I have hooked up the Mini to my older 22" Toshiba and my 56" Samsung with the same HDMI cable and it works great on both. What the heck is wrong with my son's 32" Toshiba? I did update the firmware on the TV and the Mac Mini has been completely updated as well.
I have also tried both HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 ports with his Xbox with success, so both ports work. I have also tried both ports with the Mac Mini and there is "no video signal" on both ports. I noticed that when I hooked up the Mini to the other TVs it automatically selects the best video setting, so there is obviously some communication that happens between the Mini and TV, but that is not happening with my son's TV.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    John

I solved my issue . . . returned the Toshiba for an Insignia . . works great.

  • MSI 760GM-P23 - No video signal

Hey, I moved my gaming setup from my old Corona case to my new Cooler Master HAF 912 PLUS case, and connected everything like it was before, but now i can't get any video signal.
    My Gaming setup is:
    Motherboard: MSI 760GM-P23
    CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.6 Ghz
RAM: 2x2GB Kingston 1333 MHz Dual Channel
    PSU: Cooler Master GX550
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 TI

Remove the board from the case again and test it outside the case on a non-conducting surface in barebone configuration.  If it works again, then you know that you must have created some sort of short-circuit problem while installing everything in the new case.
    Such things happen a lot.

  • Need to split video signal to both HDMI and VGA

I am hosting an event and the venue has given me a really tough challenge. I need to send a video signal from my Macbook Pro 15"(the highest spec, latest model) to a projector that only accepts VGA and to an A/V system that only accepts HDMI(this A/V system broadcasts the signal to several flatscreen TVs throughout the venue). Here are my two ideas, can anyone tell me if this will fail and if so, are there any other solutions?
Idea 1: Use a mini-display to VGA adapter, split the VGA cable with one VGA cable going to the projector, and the other VGA cable going through a VGA to HDMI adapter to the A/V system
Idea 2: Use a mini-display to HDMI adapter, split the HDMI cable with one HDMI cable going to the A/V system and the other going through an HDMI to VGA adapter to the projector
Idea 3: Rent another projector that accepts HDMI, use a mini-display to HDMI adapter and split the HDMI cable, with one going to the projector and the other to the A/V system(this is the most expensive option and I want to avoid this if possible)
The event is tomorrow evening, and I need to buy these cables today if possible. Would love to hear any ideas, thanks!!!

Yes.  All video and audio outputs are always active.

  • No video signal toshiba tv/dvd hdmi

fios guy set up my fios tv with samsung tv last week. everything was fine.
I got a new toshiba tv dvd combo today. have HDMI plugged into HDMI 1. When I power on the TV (and HDMI 1 is selected) it shows "No Video Signal". (audio is fine)
I need to un-plug HDMI and then re-plug HDMI to show the video. When I turn off the TV and then turn it back on. Same thing happens "No Video Signal"and I again need to unplug HDMI and then replug to get the video...
    any suggestions? thanks so much!

The key problem is that the HDMI "standard" isn't quite standard yet. So you have two devices from different manufacturers trying to adhere to a common method that is still open to interpretation. Don't you just love bleeding-edge technology (5 yrs old anyway)?  I have some similar diffulties with one of my TV's, a Panasonic about 3 yrs old, and have resorted to using the component video cables instead of the HDMI cable. I really cannot see the difference in the picture or sound, so that method works fine for me. I suggest that if you can't find a workaround, do the same.
To get as technical as I can with this, what's happening (with bi-directional digital HDMI)  is that the set-top box is "talking" to the TV and trying to decide what to do to provide the right, if any, output. One of many things being "discussed" by the two devices is for example whether you are trying to illegally record anything. The Verizon box asks the TV to supply a proper response and if it cannot, then the box shuts down and won't send anything. The TV HDMI design must be able to supply the correct encoded reply according to the standard. If it isn't quite exactly what the box wants to see, then "lights out". Don't you just love the digital age? The analog HD component video cable set (not to be confused with composite video) has no provision for any return response (it's one-directional) so it's use is not a problem. The Verizon box does not expect any response in that case and goes on happily content to send its video out to whatever is receiving it. That is why many not-quite-legal digital recording setups use the component video cable interface instead of HDMI. Good luck...

  • MSI GX 700X no video signal

    Hello
I have a MSI GX 700X and it crashed - no video signal (LCD or monitor output), no sound (beep or whatever), no HDD activity... just the fan spinning...
Any suggestions how to identify the problem?
If is the video board (8600M), can I change it with something newer (like 9800M)? Is there a compatibility list?

There probably won't be a compatibility list as MSI doesn't recommend users upgrade the graphics card in a notebook. I think you'll get the information you need if you contact MSI directly though: >>How to contact MSI.<< Bear in mind the current cooling system might not be good enough for a faster card.
I had a problem with a notebook recently where it crashed and wouldn't post again. Upon examining around one of the RAM slots I found some corrosion causing a short; I cleaned away the corrosion and the notebook was booting fine again. I'm not saying you have the same problem but just showing it as an example that many things can cause it not to post.

I plugged in a hard drive, keyboard and mouse from another computer.
The new home-build computer starts but sends no video signal to the monitor, spins the fans and lights the LEDs for about 20 seconds, and restarts, over and over again.
Everything but the hard drive, keyboard and mouse are brand new.
I would expect to at least see something on the monitor telling me what has gone wrong.
Any ideas on what could be going on?

Corsair strongly advises against mixing two kits even with the same part numbers.
Does the HDD have a pre existing OS on it? Z77's default to AHCI mode, so if the OS on the HDD was loaded under IDE Mode, it won't work. Actually, if the OS is being migrated from another system, it is most likely not going to work correctly anyway. A fresh OS install is always recommended. But! This is moot if you can't get it to POST!
A key component is not listed, the PSU. What are the +12V amps?
Connect the monitor by another port instead of HDMI for testing. Also, remove all the RAM except one stick which is left in the primary DIMM2 slot. If still no POST, test with each RAM stick individually in the DIMM2 slot.
If the RAM has serial numbers along with the batch numbers, separate them back to the two kits. In case of RMA, they have to be matched up and the two kits separated anyway.

When i turned the computer on for the first time, the system boots up and there is one small beep, sounds like it is posting, but I get no video signal from my monitor, which I checked on my other computer and is working fine, I tried both video cards in the 1st slot, in non-sli mode and I get the same result each time, so I get no video signal with all ways tried? Do I not have enough power in this PSU to run what I have? The video manufacturer suggests a 450W PSU, which I meet, but do I not have enough juice the 12V rails? And would this cause the no signal? Hello, welcome to forum.

have you tried with one of them only into 1st PCI-E? use 1st DVI output, when using SLI, ensure SLI bridge is configured property, connect monitor to VGA onto 1st PCI-E slot. also check monitor output is configured property(etc: Input 1, Input 2).
power down PC, remove power cord from the PSU and Clear CMOS Guide
    re-test.
ensure all power cables are connected property. try to boot with one memory stick only into slot close to CPU socket.
    what D-bracket shows?

yes, think is too weak for your system
its recommended to get single rail with high amperes on +12V (over 30A)
