Msi fx 5600 ultra not on msi website

I just ordered a msi fx 5600 ultra, and I kinda worried now because there is no mention of the fx 5600 ultra on offical MSI Site. I see the regular fx 5600, but the the ultra. anyone know what the deal is here? Also after reading some reviews on the ultra vs ati 9500 pro, i might just get an ati card since the ultra falls way short of ati. whats your opinion?

I think you should wait till the card arrives and you test it and see what you think. I am sure the card will give you more than enough eye candy.

MSi website support not working - poor service!

MSi website support is not working. Everytime I try to contact them using the support tickets I get a garbled message on screen and once you click the OK button it clears your ticket with nothing posted.
It's a very poor way for a company supposed to be a BIG company showing support to its customers.
You can't telephone them, cannot now use the ticket support, and can only HOPE someone from their technical department reads THIS.
I sent them an email about it and I'm just waiting to hear from them.
It makes me want to change to ASUS in future!

Ok I'll try to remain calm as I've just received a warning about "bashing" MSi.
I'll include the screenshot again for your attention. At least the moderators here are reviewing the situation it seems, which, on a large forum, I didn't think would be noticed.
After going through advice of how to update my BIOS with their technical help on the website I flashed my MSi Z68A-GD65 (B3) successfully to version 22.8. It was playing up before that on the orginal BIOS, slowing down in Windows, not recognizing various USB devices, and I had a Primary BIOS led flashing which meant it had failed on the mobo so the computer wasn't coming out of 'sleep' very good (I just left it on all the time instead).
22.8 made it seem to be at it's best then I contacted them on which update next; they said P.1. Unlike the previous one which I flashed inside the BIOS using M-flash, this had to be done in DOS which I did.
I saw a brief message which I think said updating should not be done while it is overclocked (I had the OC button on) but other than that it went through and said update was "successful". That was the last message my machine made.
It is now in a constant 'boot loop' which lasts about 10 seconds, not enough time to interrupt or use a boot device, and just cycles switching off to booting then switching off, etc.
I've seen many cases of this and it must be a common problem, as I did everything as instructed and still it went wrong.
After lots of communication MSi UK agreed to inform the service department for a RMA to be sent to me, even though it was out-of-warranty. Then they closed the ticket. I opened a new ticket asking why they closed the ticket and I still had not received any RMA, they told me not to worry the RMA will be coming, then closed that ticket.
After waiting 10 days I tried to use the website form again filling out all the criteria on the form and instead I get this garbled writing with the OK button as I mentioned, which just sends you back to the home page with nothing updated.
So I am really frustrated at this point, unable to phone MSi (they won't talk to you), use the website (in UK) and have had to explain everything through an email correspondence, hence my lack of patience on this forum.
For years I put my faith in MSi products, I have a Nvidia graphics card also, and they are the market leader with the best looking designs and most powerful components. But they should provide better customer support when things go wrong and are failing anyone who resides in the UK with a website service which doesn't work, and closing tickets before the problem has been sorted or the RMA has been sent.

I contacted MSI several times (3 MSI facebook accounts, 2 EMail adresses) and told them where the security holes are located and what an attacker could do with this holes - but they ignored me: They didn't reply (They publish stuff on facebook and dont read the messages I send them on fb ...? - emails are the same) and they didnt fix the holes. This is just irresponsible so I just wanted you to know that most msi websites are unsafe so you shouldn't register etc because it's easy to get access to the database-server(s). MSI now fixed all security holes I discovered, but if you are registered on any *.msi.com website, please change your password. If you use the same email and password on other websites, please change your password there too. I was able to gain access to several databases, so it's possible that somebody else was able to do this too.

KT4V + Leadtel GeForce FX 5600 ultra = compatible?

I would like to know if the Leadteck A310 GeForce FX 5600 Ultra 128 Mo is compatible with a KT4V ver 1.0. The test report of MSI is rather short and does not mention any older card than a GeForce 4 Mx.
I am asking this, because she doesn't boot with a SUMA GeForce 4 Ti 4200 SE 64 Mo. And I mean, when I plug the card in the AGP port, everything is like if I unplug the power cable. I've seen another user on this forum, with the same problem (GeForce 4 Ti 4200 64Mo, but a Siluro), and no solution where found. Even with nothing on it (no proc, no ram, nothing), the card it booting. But as soon as I put the Suma, no reaction. I tried a Geforce 2 MX, and it works just fine.

My power supply is a 350 W Enermax dual-fan (don't remember exactly the spec). My old KT3 ultra liked it and never complained about it
I've tried a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 SE 128Mo - 8X. It works perfectly. I really dont know why my old GeForce 4 Ti4200 SE 64Mo- 4X doesn't work. Usualy, when there's a compatibility problem, at least, the system boots (even if it hangs soon after). But here, with the old GeForce, not a move. not even a breath from fans.
So, I decided to buy a new graphic card = a FX 5600 Ultra. By the way, ATI offers more interesting card, but there are so many compatibility issues that I am afraid to try one... If enough people can assure me I will be safe with an ATI 9600 Pro on a KT4V, I may give it a try.

Firefox does not load any websites now, after working well earlier today.

Firefox is not working now - it does not load any websites. Message on screen says:- "8e6 Mobile Client - internet browsing is not possible at this time. Error:80001001".
What I was doing before the problem:-
I had spent time re-organising My Documents.
One folder in My Docuamnts called "High Windows" contained the file "2101HighWin.msi", which I attempted to open.
What I have done since the Firefox problem:-
I have tried to uninstall 8e6 Mobile Client, but it won't let me.
I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox.
I have used InternetExplorer8 to search thru the Mozilla troubleshooting pages.
Please can you help?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

HELP! 5600 ultra

I just bought a msi 5600 ultra i was running a 5200 but wanted the extra horsepower .Ok on with the porblem it works fine in 2d no real problems but as soon as i try to benchmark i get the problems .In 3dmark03 i get good play in the first 4 parts of the test but when i get to pixel shades and the rag troll test it tears bad lots of blocks and missing pixels and then it gets really bad i try to check my clock speeds and i get problem with nvgo?.dll.HELP ME

im pretty much having the same problem. the game hangs then it comes back with messed up pixels. happens only in 3D games and only when the card is being worked. it also happens in 3D mark03. And it happens much quicker when i enable FSAA to any sample at all ( 2 AA and 4AA). i have

5600 ULTRA - 350Mhz or 400Mhz? - are they foolling us all?

I am interested in buying a MSI Geforce FX 5600 ULTRA, but I understand that NVIDIA has sent out two versions of the 5600 Ultra chip: a 350MHZ version and a 400MHZ version.
Press states that the market if filled with Ultras with different speeds and at the same price! As you can imagine, I wish to buy the 400MHZ version.
My questions are:
Which version of the chip does MSI use in their cards?
Has MSI ever used the 350MHZ? And if true, is it possible that I pick up a card with the old chip?

If your heart is set on the GeForceFX 5600 Ultra, the answer to your question is 400Mhz RAMDAC.

Firefox 3.6.8 is not opening any website, while internet explorer is browing the internet normaly.

Firefox is not opeing any website at all. The internet connection is running smooth. IE is browsing the internet normaly. Skype and messenger is also running without any issues but fire fox won't browse the internet at all. It always displays the following message when ever i try to open any website.

Why does keychain not recognize some websites, the little popup asking for to save the user id and password into the keychain is not appearing.

Presuming you have AutoFill enabled, in Safari preferences, save Usernames and Passwords, then I would suggest the consideration that some websites block this facility in web browsers to enhance security. These are usually financial / ebanking sites, but it may apply to others as well.

If the Flash object has focus then key presses are processed by that plugin.
In such cases you need to click outside that plugin (e.g. the menu bar if you can't click on the website) to make the keyboard work.

My Firefox will not search for websites

My Firefox will not search for websites etc. I put in a parameter and it will not do anything. When I use anything else (such as Yahoo! search) it works fine. I type in a word/website/name etc. into the search box on Firefox and nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and still it won't work.

A few notes for the morning:
(1) If you used the Reset Firefox feature, a folder will have appeared on your desktop named Old Firefox Data. Please retain that folder so you can revert your Reset if needed.
(2) I don't know why you would intentionally open the IP addresses of servers that have demonstrated their untrustworthiness by relaying spam to you. If you want to find out who controls a server, you can look it up on one of the regional registries for IP addresses:
