MSI FX5900XT New User Here

Hi all,
I just bought a new FX5900XT ( I live in Singapore ). Pls help as I have some queries...
1) There is a app called "3D turbo experience" included and when I run it, it shows that the core speed is 300Mhz? I thought this card is set to default 390?
2) Also , I must say that the CD package included in the Singapore version is so limited compared to what I read on the web. In my box, there are only 4 CDs
THey are the driver and some utilities, WinDVD Creator, Unreal Tournament 2004 Beta version and Chaos Legion Full Version.
This is so much lesser compared to the 20CDs the website showed.
Is there anyone here who is from Spore and has bought this card too? Am I cheated by the shop who might have taken out some CD from the box?
3) Has anyone run Farcry with this card? Pls let me know when you click on "auto detect" on the video option menu , what are the results? I had most of them detected to 'medium' setting except for one 'high'. Not sure why ? As I have read somewhere that it this card is capable of autodetecting all "high" ....
As I am a newbie into high performance video gaming .. pls give me some opinions. Thanks a lot!!!

Yup I think the package varies according to location but just didn't expect it to be so different in Singapore. ( so much less ).
I was also told by the shop owner that if you use the MSI clock to overclock, its actually covered under the 1 yr warranty. So thats why I am a bit held back to user other software such as coolbite to overclock , moreover this card does not have temperature detector on it. Hence its hard to judge how hot it gets while overclocking.
Pls let me know how to monitor and safely overclock this card.

Btw, my AMD 2500 runs at 49degree in windows and up to 55degree while playing game. Not sure if thats normal? (using original AMD fan)
I already have 4 casing fans! 2 infront ( intake ) , 1 on top and 1 at the back ( outtake)

That has been true for the previous Aperture versions. Now Aperture simply treats the original image files exactly as they are in the imported library. Referenced images will stay referenced, managed will be imported as managed. But you can always relocate the imported managed images afterwards by using "File > Relocate".

New user here. Can I sync with Microsoft Outlook?

Brand new Driod X user here. Is there a way to set up my Droid X to sync with my Microsoft outlook contacts? While the Contact list on the Droid is nice and all when they converted over all my contacts from my Treo it messed up many of them and now I have to re-enter a lot of information and it would be easier to do that if i had my address book on outlook synced with the Droid.

New User Here: Changing the color scheme of console

My name is Zia and I am from Pakistan. I am primarily a Ubuntu user. But I needed a lightweight console-only operating system specifically for some work in Intel Assembly and a few other things which do not need X. Someone told me Arch was what I was looking for. So I installed Arch base as guest on VirtualBox and so far, it is impressively. It is running on mere 128M physical and 4GB pre-allocated HDD with very nice results. I did hack away with a few things and set the basic configs up myself. That's no big deal since I have a little background knowledge of how Linux works, from my experience with Ubuntu. Ubuntu, however is a little more resource hungry so I am going for Arch on VM.
Enough with my boring chatter. I am here to ask help. Please direct me.
The console looks pretty boring. I changed the console font while installing and I think I can change it again in /etc/rc.d if I want, but the font looks good. The major problem is colors. I googled it and there are plenty of threads specifying how to change the background/foregriund colors of TTY. But that is not what I want. You see, when I list the contents of the directory, I want all the sub-directories to be listed in blue, all the executables in green and rest of the normal files simply white or grey, whatever... The problem is, I am not sure how I would do that.
Someone at some thread mentioned an .Xdefaults. I didn't come across such a file tampering with my Ubuntu box so naturally I am not familiar with it. If that is what I need to master before in order to get what I want, I shall need links or on-thread help, please.

EDIT: I have not installed X. Just the base system with samba and a few other things. Should the .Xdefaults still control the console colors? I am not talking about the terminal inside X. I am talking about TTY.

That will append the alias mentioned in post 2 to your .bashrc which is where aliases are stored (you should run this as user for user's bashrc and root for root's bashrc). You will need to logout or issue
source ~/.bashrc
to get it to work.

HELP NEW USER HERE

Please help...I was able to put my music on my ipod video but I can not get the movies that I have in my itunes file onto my ipod. They show in itunes under library and not video. I bought quick time 7 pro and followed the directions to export to ipod it took a full 24 hour day to export and when it was done I have no idea where the new file is or what to do with it. I am sooooo confused and just need help on how I get movies on my ipod? Can someone help me out there. Donna

Can anyone here could help me find a link or any softcopy of document that will help me learn more about the process of vendor creation up to the payment of supplier process. How can i keep my ipod from automaticlly syncing everytime i plug it in, i don't want to have to re sync everything everyweek when i get new music??? Thanks

Autosync should not be re-syncing your whole library. The purpose of the autosync is to make the iPod content a mirror of the iTunes content. In other words, if you have added new content to iTunes, the autosync should only be syncing the new iTunes content on to the iPod. I use autosync & that's what happens with my iPod. If you truly do not want to use autosync, then in your iPod preferences in iTunes (when your iPod is docked to the computer), you will need to change the iPod to "manually manage". Hope this helps.

Service provider? Do you mean the network? if you do im on O2, in the UK O2 and Apple stores are the only stores that sell the iPhone, but i bought it from the O2 store just a regular shop with no genius bar. So i only have the O2 store recipt.

Ok I am really a new user of Mac so here is my problem in the bar across the top of my screen when I bring up Safari there is a help box when I go to an answer and click it and the window pops up there is nothing there what happened to the answers? Help

Could you please give us a picture of what is going on. This is a picture of what the top of Safari looks like when I go to the Help menu. I typed in the word cache and a number of options appeared below. Is this not happening for you?

My guess is that the security settings on your router and iPod do not match.
For a test, change your router so there is no security. See if you can connect and get to the Internet. If that works, set up the router with security and use the same settings for the iPod.

You need to set the option to create a mobile account using the Directory Utility app.

Okay, before you say it, yes, am asking about LOGIC users here to see if they noticed an increase in FPU or DECREASE with new UPDATE, with first LEOPARD, there were spikes, and it used more CPU than TIGER (some are still waiting for Pro Tools)..
Anyway, what is the best way to update to Leopard and still keep my emails (10 different accounts) and just update to LEOPARD ? MBP is my lifeline and I don't want to back up, just install my NFS then go to update, will that work!
