MSI-GD65 Status code question

Hey everyone, I just got my MSI-GD65 board hooked up for an external power up to make sure all my components are working before I fire it all into my case, and I noticed a status code on the POST LED's that says "bb" I'm assuming they are "B" and not "6". I just don't see anything listed for a "bb" POST code. Can anyone tell me what this is?
Just some quick potentially useful info: I do not have a hard drive connected, and I am only using the integrated graphics on the Intel i7-4770k processor. I am only booting into the BIOS. I have 2 sticks of DDR-1600 RAM that is detected fine and doesn't seem to show any issues.
Just as a side question, my CPU idle temp is ~50C. This seems high, but I am using the stock HS right now. Anyone know if this is high enough that I should be concerned about something?

I just have a hard time believing that the code is sixes. Every other 7 segment display I've seen displays the sixes with the top segment also lit up. I was just trying to clarify if there was some sort of known use of the displays showing this sort of arrangement. Also if it was displaying temp. I think it would increase or decrease at least 1 degree over the hour that it sat idle. It never moved from the "bb" code that was posted.
The BIOS temp does vary from 50-51C and I can see this change in real time, so I am much more inclined to believe this is the actual temperature, or at least a more realistic representation of it, even if it is not 100% accurate.
Thank you both for the replies though. I think I will safely assume that it is the standard "bb" code that is displayed while in the UEFI BIOS, and see what happens when I get everything hooked up into the case later today.
Unless there is anything else anyone else would like to add? All help and input is appreciated!

Ok so I built this computer 2 days ago and it Posts perfectly fine. I have been using it for the past 2 days and have had zero BSODs so far. However there is three things I am concerned about.
1. When I boot the computer I get 1 long beep and 3 short beeps. Now I assume this is a memory problem. Thing is CPU-Z is registering all my RAM and I ran Memtest twice (in the BIOS) and it passed both times.
2. If I take my USB Mouse and Keyboard out and boot up, I get 1 long beep 2 short beeps. Now apparently this is a video card problem but the video works perfectly fine and I know for a fact that this is a good card. (I have been using it for almost a year)
3. When I start the BIOS I notice it does not recognize my primary drive (it does recognize my external if plugged in) but then that screen disappears and then it boots into Windows fine and I can use the primary drive freely with no problems. I have all my SATA drives in AHCI mode and have all drivers for that mode installed. (it does not detect in IDE mode either, just FYI)
So...my question is, should I be worried about this at this point or is it a "You POST successfully so stop whining and enjoy your computer".

Hi! I have the same thing with beeps. There are 1 long, 2 short, and then one short high pitch after a small delay. No USB connected at all.
The next problem is that when I hit OC Genie button on, the system even can not load bios. It is loosing power every 1-2 secs. Here is good example (not me but the same motherboard) on how it looks like

Without OC Genie it boots Win7 install USB flash drive nicely.
And one of the most weird things: when I enter BIOS, it says (in top right corner) that CPU temp is 97(!!!), but it cant be so because I've just turned the power on!

P67A-GD65 gets sometimes gets stuck on boot status code 98 until i turn of main

Hi,
I have a issue which seems to be more recurring over time - it simply gets stuck on the first status code screen, it continues to do it until I power down system by mains for 10 secs.
To start with I'd say only once a month but now about once a week.
The usual boot status codes read "98 B4 98 94" and when the problem occurs it just gets stuck on the first 1.

I don't really know as I have the as shipped BIOS 1.9 on mine and only problem I have is my mouse doesn't work in BIOS and since mice never worked in BIOS before these new MB's it's nothing I'm concerned about. It seems every new BIOS fixes one thing and then another problem crops up for other people so I'm sticking with the no mouse and no other problems BIOS 1.9. The only BIOS's I understand that have had the fewest problems for most people have been 1.9 & 1.C. Mines goes through POST so fast I can't even read anything as it flashes by everything in just a few seconds and goes to loading Windows.
Unplugging the USB devices was just a suggestion for test purposes not a work around for the problem.

How to Implement HTTP Request Status Code Processing

I actually have two questions. First, I wondering how to add multiple status code processing to an http request. Secondly, I was wondering how to go about using alternate http requests to different servers in case the primary server is down. What kind of parameter would the program use to determine that the server is unavailable and switch to another server??
Currently, the program I've written calls an rdf server (http://www.rdfabout.com/sparql) using a sparql query,
the server returns an xml string, the program parses it, and calculates numbers
from the string. The program works, but the problem is that the server is down occasionally.
When the server is down, we need to add calls to another server to

I'm thinking an if/else statement, which I've tried a few different ways,

I think your issue comes form the fact that you are not casting URLConnection to HttpURLConnection.
Doing the cast would allow you to use getResponseCode() - among other methods - and test for a response different than 200.

While creating OpenDirectory replica, I get a "non-zero status code". How do I fix this?

I'm trying to create an OpenDirectory replica with OS X 10.9.2 servers running Server 3.1.1. The server seems to connect to the master momentarily, but ultimately the connection fails. The log file shows:

The Apple Discussion titled, "Error occurred creating OD replica" addressed the issue by running Workgroup Manager to backup users, before destroying and recreating the OD. However, that user also botched the master-replica relationship by changing the host name of the master without destroying the replica's first.
I'm hoping that there is a simpler method to solve this issue. It is my understanding that Workgroup Manager is a depricated app, so I am hesitant to use the method recommended by the referenced solution.
What causes this error? How can one attempt to remedy this without destroying the master?

I have been trying to diagnose this by analyzing the network traffic, which has been enlightening, but it suddenly dawned on me that I had not checked the "Logs" section of the Server application. Checking the Log and changing the specific Log to "Configuration Log" in the OpenDirectory section, I see the following:
This error is much more clear than the text described above. It seems that the problem is not network communication, rather it is that the OpenDirectory administrator is not the same as the system administrator. I had thought that the user account was one and the same.
So, now the question becomes.....
How do I determine the userId of the directory administrator?
The password is known. We have a standard password that we use in this company for such things, but the user account is not known. That changes based on the machine which houses the directory. Does anyone have a suggestion?

OTA Download and HTTP Status Codes

i am planning to check the http status code of an OTA download. Even if I interupt the download process, the server still responds with status 200.

i have relatively a same question. I am developing an OTA Provisioning platform for Java Games . Herez the flow:
-> End User (Client) requests a content by entering his mobile no. via website
-> Server sends a WAP PUSH (Binary SMS) to his mobile.
-> When User opens the WAP PUSH (SMS), it will connect via GPRS to the server and start retrieving the game ( I am using Servlet to stream the JAD File)
-> Then it will retrieve JAR file (path defined in JAD file)
-> I have defined:

in JAD File. So after Installation the Mobile handset connects the URL specified. I am then grabbing the status code i.e 900 or 901 ....
Problem:

When they download the content the Midlet-Install-Notify connects to servlet, but i am not able to distinguish among users as i am not able to dynamically assign User ID to MIDlet-Install-Notify URL in JAD File.
I am in now in real trouble. If any one knows the solution how to maintain session or URL rewriting i.e dyanmically assign Parameters to MIDlet-Install-Notify plz share it.

Thanks for your response! I followed the instruction on question 17, and recheck my configuration of the integration engines (for client 105/106/107 as stated in the SAp demo), and change the 'Corresponding Inte. Server" back to the format "dest://<RFC destination for inte. server>". I had that initially, and decided to try using the entire http path (http://<local_host:J2EE port>/sap/xi/engine/?type=entry). Neither of them worked.
Do I need to restart or reactivate any components after I changed the corresponding integration server value after the configuration?
Since the above did not work, so I went back to the possible root cause (Integration Server RFC destination). I have set up the integration server RFC destination in client 100, with the following parameters:
Under Technical Settings:
Host: <local_host>
path prefix: /sap/xi/engine/?type=entry
service no.: 5<instance>00
Under Logon/Security:
Logon Precedure: chose Basic Authentication
Client: 100
Login ID : XIAPPLUSER
Afterwards, I did the "Test Connection", and it returns the 404 error.
In addition, on the application systems side (in the demo, the case will be client 105/106/107), I have ensured the business systems are set to "application system".

Status codes in Purchase Order Response screen

Hello,
I still relatively new to SRM and have a question on how the status codes on the purchase order response screen works.
Specifically what is the logic / selection criteria for "Variance in Purchase order Response"? My initial analysis is that this displays variance against the Original PO values rather than the current PO values if they have been updated to matched the POR.

Any suggestions where I can find detailed user / functional documentation on what each of the search parameters mean ?

STATUS_CHANGES_GET does not return a list of status codes that has changed

This function module retuns all status changes that are in JEST_BUF with the field MOD NE to SPACE. The problem is when you make status code changes, the changes are in JEST_BUF yet none of the records has the field MOD NE to SPACE. So the FM always returns empty. Is there a setting that I should change to cause MOD to be populated when new records added? If the FM does not work properly, I will have to compare JEST_BUF to JEST to identify new entries.

I have a similar problem in SRM with the contracts - se my question from 30.th marc 2010 'Incorrect status table E_STATUS from FM BBP_PD_CTR_GETDETAIL'
I can se, that my jest_buf is not maintained when making two or more changes (setting lines inactive) and then press 'controll' - only the first line changed is marked 'inactive' in status field..

Hi, sorry I did not get the relevance of the posted link. It refers to standard customisation, which I think is opposite to what Neil asks. Normally you can execute a GPS on changing the status in STS. But Neil is wanting to do the opposite, if I am not mistaken,: change the status in the STS by running a sequence in the planning.
I don't have a solution; but my question would be why use the STS if not using for status control? One can see issues arising, like when the current status in not what you are expecting, or if a sequence should be run when the status changes, and maintaining the fields that change (status history log). I guess it may be doable, but is it worth it?

Order Activity rules and status code protection

Just a quick question on status code protection settings with regards to order activity rules.
If order activity rules are configured so that certain statusses can be bypassed. ie. (Approval of purchase orders for instance).
Will status code protection when set active, prevent status codes from being bypassed in the order activity rules? In other words the Purchase order must follow the normal status codes as layed out in the order activity rules?

In any case, you shouldn't be doing any includes in Application.cfc(side note: capital A). The application file is not meant for presenting CFM pages. Translate all such includes into logic involving, for example, cflocation.

Can MSI GD65 run 8gb @ 1600mhz?

Anyone able to actually get their MSI GD65 to run an 8gb kit at 1600mhz or higher? I keep reading more and more people are having problems with this.

And the board has no effect at all? I'm not new to this although its nice to get an answer that does me absolutely no good and does not even answer my question. I am aware the memory controller is in the CPU but to say the board has no effect is absurd.

Mechanism to return status code explanations?

Does Oracle provide an mechanism in the SDK to return longer and presumably more end-user understandable explanations of SDK status codes, such as (for instance) "Logon authentication failed." when provided with the integer value of the status code whose string representation is 'CAPI_STAT_SECUR_LOGON_AUTH'?
In other words, is an integral lookup table of this type already present in the SDK -- even if the explanations are currently provided only in the English language and perhaps even are not customizable -- or would we need to build our own?
(This question could also be extended to apply to the status codes emitted by the Calendar Web Services ...)

No, there is no corresponding message (English or otherwise) for the status codes in the Calendar SDK today.
However you should be able to find descriptions of the status codes in the SDK documentation.
