MSI GE60 ONC 665XFR Unlocked BIOS Request

Hello,
Is possible to have unlock Bios For MSI GE 60 0NC-665XFR ?
I have Windows 7 64 Running on it
BIOS Version :
8.0.2.1410
BIOS Information : E16GAIMS.10F
With SSD Micron 128 GB inside (don't know if you need this information )
Is it possible to get the newest, unlocked bios ?
I Already flash a bios who allows me to move gpu frequencies but some people says that it will be better to have your modded bios
My problem is that i got some big fps drops (1 fps during 1,5 second) then everything run fine (i don't think this is bios related but i cant fix this issue)
It appears after 45 minutes gaming on demanding games (like something going busy for 1,5 seconds)
When it start it appears back all 5 minutes
My temperatures are ok and all seems to run fine except this issue
Can i have intel rapid storage firmware update too ?
Thanks a lot and sorry for my poor english

Quote
Yes i have gt650m. Do you know some frequencies issues with this card or maybe my drivers are going crazy.
nope don't know for such, could be driver related
Quote
My msi is a freedos version i installed windows 7 on it .
Your custom bios includes throttle stopping ?
throttle stopping about...?
Quote
If i choose that, can you include the fan control custom settings in this bios ?
nope, fan is controlled by EC
can be done with separate custom EC firmware
Quote
When i play video games i always use the fan boost button . It will be always operational after that ?
what do you mean by this?
Quote
Last question : what improves the last intel rapid storage firmware ?
dunno, don't know the changes
probably bug fixes, compatibility fixes or/and performance improvments
Quote
No issues if i have ssd system disc inside my beast ?
should works fine

I can donate to you when you tell me to do .
I'm gonna follow your instructions sir
oki, but let clarify all details 1st

  • MSI GE60 0ND-296NE unlocked Bios request

    I have the GE60 0ND-296NE
    Mainboard:  MS-16GA
    PCB Version:  REV:1.0
    BIOS Version: E16GAIMS.513
    BIOS Date:  11/8/2012
    EC-FW Version:  16GAEMS1.504
I would like to update to the 514 bios and the 506 ec-fw with unlocked bios options.  I am also having a hard time flashing the updated bios with the msihq tool. the tool gives me an error with the bios archive. it says the archive should be extracted and then to use mode 2 to select the bios file directly but on my nb mode 2 is not an option. i do not have the option to update the bios from the bios either. any help would be appreciated and of course a donation made for your services.

the links to efi-auto.zip are all dead.
UPDATE: i downloaded the bios update for the ge60 20c. then i borrowed some of the files from that archive and edited the batch files and put them in the 0ND 514 bios archive. then i used the msihq tool to flash. i probably shouldnt have tried anything like that but it worked. i dont recommend anyone else try it!

  • MSI GT70 0NC Unlocked Bios Request | Split

Hello Svet. I send you PM but I'm not sure it worked
I need an unlocked Bios for my GT70 model 0NC-002US.
My GTX670M died on me and I ordered a GTX765M ( MSI flashed). I should get it in a week or so
my problem is that I removed the defective GPU because the laptop won't power up if I leave it in the PCi-E slot
but once removed, the laptop runs the Fan full speed at all times. So I need to select the Intel card in the unlocked Bios
could you send me the info / donation procedure please ?
    thank you

  • My turbo doesn't work for games. MSI GE60 ONC

    Hello everyone,
I got a problem with my GE60 onc.
I had problems with the internet and stupid ad pop ups, so I asked a friend if he could look at it.
He has a pc himself and knows a lot about all this kind of stuff. So he plugged in a portable drive where he had programs to clean his own pc with on there. He opened this anti junkware program and it was inside of the cmd. He fixed all the pop up ads and stuff, but now when I try to start up games the turbo button doesn't light up and my games run much slower. (Cube World, Dayz, Payday 2) And I don't know how to fix this...:( If someone knows how to fix it I would gladly appreciate it!
    Thanks guys.

What Windows version are you using? Did you install the Windows system on your own?
Can other quick launch buttons work properly?
    - Try to do an EC reset by removing the battery and the AC adapter, then reattached them back on for a reboot.
*Share your EC version by looking into the BIOS menu.(Press Delete button after seeing MSI logo on the screen while powering on> Main> System Information)
When you say the game is running slower, do you mean there is game lag? or lower FPS? or you mean the frequency...?
Also did you try to update the graphics driver? What graphics version are you using?

  • MSI GT70 2OC Questions (Unlocked Bios, upgrade VGA drivers)

Hi Iam looking for some answers, from what I saw, there are few really awesome helping people here. So Hi to everyone!
AS I noticed there is no GT70 2OC topic here, so there is now.  I will update infos How-to´s and other stuff for everyone that have this revision.
    1. Update VGA drivers, Set as default there is nvidia optimus (Intel+nvidia switching mode)
         Pros:  Battery life
Cons: Faulty switching in some games, just sporadic driver support, 2 VGA drivers at once couse problems with CAD applications and some older games.
Comment: Iam using this as Hi-end mobile solution for work and games, extra 4th hour of battery live comes as real nonsense to me in exchange for ale the troubles.
Possible solution: Unlocking hidden/advanced BIOS options should reveal control for wheter to swithing mode od discrete graphics only. Setting it to discrete graphics only would mean no driver troubles slightly better performance and most importanly possibilyty of regular VGA driver updates from nvidia.
I already send PM to Svet about unlocking bios. But Iam still asking any ideas anyone?

Sadly most of those concerns aren't really valid.
While I have the old GT70 0NE, even on this unit there were no issues ever getting any program (be it Autocad/Solidworks/whatever you like, or games either, even if they were older) to work with the card(s) properly. It's all a matter of making it do what you want, which is actually handled rather well by the drivers. Optimus is much better than it was a while ago, and it functions very well now.
While your your point of just making it default to the NVidia card is valid, it's a very moot point. Every program I've tried (be it 10+ year old games even from the mid-90's, to even the most recent applications and games) works just fine. Again, it's all in how you make the driver work. If you tell it to use the NVidia card when you run this program, it'll work.
I wouldn't worry about making it use only the NVidia card exclusively, it really isn't worth the effort. While it is possible, it's much more difficult than one would think....

  • MSI GT70 0NE-467UK Unlocked BIOS.

    Dear Svet,
I'm currently looking for an unlocked BIOS for the MSI GT70 0NE-467UK. What I'm looking to do is set the primary GPU to IGP, as the GTX680M died (out of warranty) and had to be removed before the laptop would turn back on. With the GTX680M removed, the laptop now boots but the fan spins at 100% constantly and apparently this setting in the unlocked BIOS will correct the problem.
