try do ec reset [remove power cord and battery for 5 min]
then plug them back and see how its goes,
if no change send it back for repair, RMA it
Svet, your answer is 100%
That's the only way I know of, and if that doesnt work, the only option is an ram.

  • MSI GE70 2pe keeps on sleeping!

    I have an MSI GE70 2pe.
The problem: I go AFK for a while and come back, the laptop is sleeping. I have checked all power options and the "advanced" options and settings for them and all sleep and hibernate functions are disabled. No clue where to look or what to do now..
Perhaps SCM has something to do with it?

I did that. I checked the settings and they are all disabled or 'do nothing'. For each mode, plugged in and battery. Still, the computer sleeps after about 15 minutes of afk.
ah thats called display sleep not laptop sleep by default screen will go to sleep after 15 mins of idle but laptop is still on and then after another 30 mins it will power down into a mode called herbinate mode or w.e it's named again that puts whole laptop into idle so fans, gpu, cpu, hard disk becomes idle and sleeping untill you press keyboard/mouse button or power button so it wakes back up.

  • New MSI GE70 2PE laptop screen not turning on/potential graphics problem

    Hi all,
This is very frustrating for me!
I've just bought a brand new MSI GE70 2PE gaming laptop for my partner and turning on causes the power on light to blink blue and orange - something i'm struggling to find any information online for. The screen remains black with no backlight or turning on. I have tried plugging the laptop through VGA into my monitor and it also says it cannot pick up any signal.
This is leading me to think it is some sort of graphics related problem. The disc drive is ejecting, I can hear the processor ticking along and all the fans etc are on - so it's not completely dead.
The fan is actually pumping out fairly warm air too, when left idle which to me seems a little odd too - I wouldn't thought it would be struggling at this point.
I have no idea what is going on, if the laptop is completely faulty or its something I am overlooking. It's supposedly 'brand new' - well the box was sealed and this problem has occurred from the first time I have tried to boot it.
I've tried running it on battery, purely on AC and this doesn't seem to make a difference.
Any ideas people? This is super frustrating and I don't want to have to get in contact with MSI about this for some sort of warantee job.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello hybridoriental,
Since your laptop is still brand new one under the warranty, I'll suggest you send it to the MSI service centers or MSI authorized service points for inspections.
The power light in orange means the system is accessing the discrete GPU. Looks like your laptop stuck in a loop before it started the BIOS. Just make sure you installed the battery and plugged the AC power before you turn it on. If it still doesn't work, it would be better and time-saving to send it to someone whom can inspect and take care of the laptop rather than figure it out by yourself.

  • My new mac mini with Maverick does not go to deep sleep even if i press power button or Apple-Sleep mode.

    Hi.
I have my new mac mini with Maverick that does not go to deep sleep even if i press power button or menu Apple-Sleep mode. He goes only to something like stand-by  (power lid is on; after i turn off and then turn on the power he does not wake up just starting). I tried "sudo pmset -a hibernatemode X", tried mode 0,1,3, and even 25. nothing helps. he goes to deep sleep (when all data on HDD) only first time after i change hibernatemode couple times and force it to sleep. Today i even tried to force it to sleep (menu Apple-Sleep mode) and NOT turn off the power for whole night, in the morning he is in this "stand-by" mode anyway.
Could anyone help me please? i need it sleep but don't want to keep my power on for whole night.

The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.
If you bought the product in the U.S. directly from Apple (not from a reseller), you have 14 days from the date of delivery in which to exchange or return it for a refund. In other countries, the return policy may be different. If you bought from a reseller, its return policy applies.

  • When i press power button i hear several click sounds before start up?

When I press power button I hear several click sounds before start up begins. Shortly after Apple logo appears it clicks off.

Which MacBook Pro do you have? If it has an optical drive then that is just the optical drive checking if there is a disk inserted.

  • MacBookPro 15.4 keep freezing up with black dialog box to press power button until off and restart

If you're able to boot, launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Select the most recent panic log under System Diagnostic Reports. Post the contents – the text, please, not a screenshot. For privacy’s sake, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header and body of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don't post "shutdownStall" or "hang" reports.
If you can't boot in the usual way, try a safe boot. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
During startup, you’ll see a progress bar, and then the login screen, which appears even if you normally log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Safe mode is slower than normal, and some things won’t work at all.

  • Mac Mini repeatedly getting "Press power button and restart your computer"

I keeping getting the following message coming up on my Mac Mini "Press power button and restart your computer". I have a G4 Mac mini and it boots up fine and runs ok for about 10 mins however after that time (if left) the message comes up. I restart the machine and the same thing happens again.

Isolate the cause as my FAQ suggests. Backup, or recover your data first*

and then discover if the issue is hardware, a directory, or software.

    They do.
Standby = press the Power button
Power off = Press and hold Power button then slide the red power off slider.
Reset = Press and hold both Reset adn Home till you see the Apple logo.
This option will help to avoid pressing power button less number of times and gives better user experience.
Because it is better to not push the power button and more enjoyable to not push it?

  • NB205 - Blank screen if I press power button

    Hello,
I have problem with my NB205 bl-325, that if I press power button then it will load TOSHIBA logo and after that comes blank screen and it wont start to boot. Everything was okay if i used it last time.
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
    What I tried?
I gathered some information about that issue, and I found that sometimes helps if I remove battery and remove RAM. And if I have been removed ram, then I will give some electritvy on it, but this didnt helped. (maybe i missed some part)? Also i checked from my BIOS that primary boot is my Harddrive.
My problem looks same like in that video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCm6BozBgAM&feature=related
Does anyone have any suggestions about that?

  • MSI GE70 2PE-40N worried about overheating

Hello. I am about to buy a MSI GE70 2PE-40N (http://www.elkjop.no/product/data/barbar-pc/MSIGE702PE40N/msi-ge70-2pe-40n-17-3-gaming-pc#tab-specs) (Norwegian page) with:

    16GB ram
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M, 2GB
(Is there more i need to add?)
And i just had these questions about overheating, and how to prevent overheating as i have heared bad things about this pc getting hot, and i have experienced other laptops reaching dangerously high levels.
How would the overheating problems be if i lower the maximum processor state while plugged in to 80-85%?
How would it affect the actual gameplay/fps if i lower it so?
Is it even recomanded to lower the maximum processor state while plugged in?
Do cooling pads even help with the overheating problem? (atm got a Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim Ultra-Slim Laptop Cooling Pad with 160mm Fan (R9-NBC-XSLI-GP)) (http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-NotePal-Ultra-Slim-R9-NBC-XSLI-GP/dp/B005C31HC0)
    Do termal paste help?
If termal paste helps, which type/what should i look for?
And last, which temperature should i aim for? 80C-90C?

The GE70 should handle heat ok when gaming! Just be sensible and play in a room with good temperature and on a cool surface ( desk etc ) Cooling pads can help also!
I would leave the thermal paste.
Hope you enjoy your new notebook its a great machine!
