MSI GeForce GTX 780 SLI question.
Hi,
I wonder if my MSI GeForce GTX 780 Gaming OC is compatible with the MSI GeForce GTX 780 Lightning LE in SLI?
Thanks!
BR, Tobiasas long as both cards are using the same GPU (GTX 780 GK110) and they both have the same amount of VRAM (EG: 3GB+3GB) then they will be able to be used in SLI as long as your PSU can power both of them!
you can use SLI even with different manufacturers cards so long as its the same spec (GPU) as the other and the VRAM frame buffers match each other as both need the same amount! -

ThanksWhat card do you have exactly? By the way meanwhile there is a GOP vbios for the OP but your individual card needs to be checked. You can't use any random vbios from techpowerup or such as even for the same model there are different versions depending on the batch of card.
For Ikky Phoenix:
Use the attached.
Decompress the provided .rar archive with Winrar: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Then flash the included file with Nvflash for dos: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/nvflash_download.html
To do so rename the included file to .rom and create a dos bootstick (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=165175.0)
Put nvflash and the vbios file on it and boot from the stick. Then type nvflash -4 -5 -6 gop.rom (if renamed vbios that way) and hit enter. Confirm the questions and let the tool flash
alishams.hassam:
Add infos about your card as seen in the initial post and/or save your current vbios to file and add a link to it. -

MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB GAMING
So I recently bought the GTX 970 OC with 1279 MHz clock speed. However, several times lately when I'm gaming I notice poor performance, so I loaded up some hardware monitoring to see what was up with that. CPU, RAM and disk looks fine, however my GPU clock speed is stuck at idle speed, 540Mhz!! During gaming! What is up with that? I have all drivers up-to-date.

Side note: Why does the Gaming app say CPU clock 390 Mhz, when it is 3900 Mhz?
Possibly false reading. Try latest version: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=254621.msg1463577#msg1463577 -

Hallo Forum,
Gerhard
