I have got MSI GX60 3BE and it's the same as yours, but with smaller screen and I am going to upgrade my RAM to:
Kingston HX316LS9IB/8 DDR3L 2x8GB 1600MHz CL9 instead of those Nanya Elixir installed by default. I have got an information from Kingston official support that CL9 and this model of memory modules are excellent choice for GX60 3BE. The other option is Kingston KVR16LS11/8 which is CL11 as Nanya.
Will it be a difference between CL9 and CL11?

... for the vendor who sold you that RAM.
It has probably clocked-down because too many modules of incompatible types were installed.

MacBook Pro early 2011 System information shows only 2gb Ram installed but it came with 4gb ??

I have an eary 2011 model of Macbook Pro. It had 4gb of ram installed on it but i recently checked the system information ans found that it only 2gb installed
Please help me resolve this issue .

I'd say either a module fell out or died or was removed.

MSI 870S-G46 8GB Ram Installed/Detected 4GB Usable W7U-x64

So I have a rather iritating issue. I just upgraded to a MSI 870S-G46 and I have been having issues with my ram. I have 2 4GB DDR3 "1600mhz" sticks made by Kingston.
I AM running Windows 7 x64, infact I have done a clean install periodically through testing on my secondary drive. Same results. A pic just to make the point. (Alt+printscreen ftw!)
The bios has been updated to latest. Via usb. Set to optimum and poked with too. (Don't see any force remap switch... so I assume this board is supposed to always do remapping...)
I have tried both reseating(XD Been seated a good 4 times now in all for an identical result)...
AND another cpu(even reseated said other cpu once). No change.
Even tried with the stock heatsink that isn't as firm on as mine clamps down.
... And a fresh install several times throughout this process on aforementioned secondary drive.
Both ram sticks are good, have tried both individually in slot 1, and both combinations of slot 1 and 2. (This board has slot 1/2 and 3/4 paired with same color.)

this recently happened to me, i updated my bios because i kept getting IRQL errors. the errors have stopped but now i have only 4gb usable from 8gb. (g.skill 1600 ram) slot 1 and slot 2.
when i put in slot 1 and slot 4 it read all 8gb but its very unstable. the IRQL happens 5 minutes in and boot takes a long time (other BSOD too). i tried lowering the speed but still no good.
im on bios version h.C0, updated thru live update.

It sounds as if you did not put in a pair of identical memory modules or did not use guaranteed compatible memry modules. You can't use the module that was already there unless the one you are adding is identical in all respects.
Only use guaranteed modules in identical pairs if you want your memory upgrade to work right the first time.

New RAM installed but System Profiler still seeing old RAM

Recently put in a new hard drive after the last one failed. The new RAM, equaling 3GB, was installed on my iMac C2D 24" BEFORE the failure. I got it back from the shop today and checked to see if the RAM was still recognised. The System Profiler is showing 1GB or RAM, 512 in each slot, and the serial numbers match the RAM that came with the computer originally.
I'm running Snow Leopard and haven't noticed anything running slow. Is this just a glitch in the matrix?

So you are saying the original DIMMs are there plus the ones you added, all were recognized before the repair but only the Apple-supplied after the repair.
Just trying to keep all of this straight in my mind.
In that case, you might try removing the DIMMs you installed and reinstalling, one at a time and see if they are recognized. If they are not, then they may have gone bad for some reason, who knows why, and it is time to look at the warranty you have from the people from whom you purchased the DIMMs.
If it was someone like Crucial or OWC (macsales) they are really good about their lifetime warranty.
If the warranty is lifetime, contact the supplier and see what the process is for replacement.
It is strange that both would work, and then fail. But stranger things have happened with computers.

Satellite C55-A-19N: 4GB RAM installed but only 2,39 is usable

I have Toshiba satellite C55-A-19N with Windows 7 32-bit. It has 4 GB of installed memory, but only 2,39 is usable.
Bios is the last.
I can not find anywhere in the system the ability to change it.
My desktop with core i5-2500K can see 3.29Gb from 4Gb RAM, why toshiba cant see it?

The shared part depends on the RAM amount which is installed.
The notebook description and the NVIDIA GeForce 710M details says this:
Video card: up next to 3787 MB with 4 GB system memory installed
and up to 4,095 MB with 6 GB of system memory (64-bit Windows operating system only).
So the shared part seems to be bigger than 300MB.
By the way:
open msconfig using search
in msconfig click on boot
next inside boot click on advanced options
In boot advanced options click on maximum memory and increase the value
then click OK. Next click apply in msconfig and then restart your pc

Elitepad 900 G1 ( Windows 10): WiFi driver installed, but "no connection available".

Nor does it show up in Network Adapters. Upgraded to Windows 10, works great, other than I have no way of connecting to the internet, which is kind of a bummer. I've tried re-installing the Win8.1 drivers, but no dice. Any help would be much appreciated.

Drake Installed but no Gauges Available in Portal

We recently installed Drake and we are working on configuring the ability to see workbooks and worksheets in Portal. When I go to the "BI Discoverer" portlet group, I only have options for list of workbooks and worksheets. There is no entry for Gauges.
Any ideas where they went?

- Gauges are available as a new portlet type in Discoverer 10.1.2
- Apart from the Gauges portlet, the other two Discoverer portlet types available in 10.1.2 are:
1. List of worksheets portlet: this is changed from 9.0.2/9.0.4 as now you can choose to publish lists of worksheets instead of only workbooks. Furthermore you also have three options in deciding what worksheets/workbooks you want to publish.
2. Worksheet portlet: vastly improved. Here end users can now customize worksheet portlets, change the graph types, add formatting, stoplight formatting to their tables/crosstabs etc... and also save back to Portal the changes they make to their worksheets by drilling out to Viewer.

MSI P67A-C43 B3 won't POST with Full RAM Installed

Hello all,
I recently purchased the MSI P67A-C43 B3 mainboard as a custom build
and have been having trouble with it. I have 16GB of ram for this board
(4x 4GB) and when I have 8GB installed (slots 1 and 3 filled), it POSTS fine.
When I fill ALL the slots for 16GB total, the board won't POST and just
power cycles ON and OFF and ON and OFF, etc...
I have replaced the memory and the PSU and am about to replace the
mainboard, but wanted to ask if anyone might have a suggestion for
troubleshooting before I do that.
Here's what I'm running on the system:

proc: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4Ghz Unlocked

These are the 1.5V Vengeance RAM Modules. Tried installing 2 of the RAM on slots 2 and 4 on their own. System Boots Fine.
Went into the BIOS and changed the voltage applied to the RAM modules from
AUTO to 1.575V. On AUTO it says is applying 1.5V to the 2x 4GB modules.
Installed the full 4x RAM on all slots... and the system just shuts down. Power cycling again.
What do you think here? Bad Motherboard? Can't think of anything else to try... totally stumped!

     I have a Mid 2012 15" Macbook Pro running Yosemite. When I first got it, I upgraded to 16gb of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM because I would be needing it for a lot of the programs I run. I have the 2.3 GHz i7 processor. Stock 500gb hard drive. No matter what I do it says that I have at max 10 gb available at a time. Here is what it says as of 5 minutes ago:
App Memory: 3.38 gb
File Cache: 1.8 gb
Wired:1.42 gb
Compressed: 10.23 mb
Used: 6.63 gb
Total: 16.00 gb
One thing That I knew was taking some was VMware fusion, for which I dedicated 2 gb to the virtual machine, but I recently deleted it and I didn't see any difference. I also have bootcamp installed, but that shouldn't make much of a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am looking for the installation package "AcroPro.msi". I had previously installed Acrobat Pro XI, but it seems to have disappeared, although the computer says it's installed. Where do I find this installation package?
I use Acrobat Pro to save documents as pdf files, mostly tax returns and documents for transmittal to clients

If you have windows, click on Start > in the search box , type Adobe Acrobat and wait and see if you have Acrobat listed there or you may visit C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat and look for "Acrobat.exe " or "Acrobat". It should be there if you have Acrobat Already installed.
