MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk instable screen

Hello guys
2 weeks ago I bought myself a MSI N560Text Hawk. Very nice card and after I bought a new supply ( OCZ 700W ) I installed it together in my PC. (Didn't oc it) Since that moment my screen is most of the time very instable during normal windows, internet and reading text. In game it's allmost complete over, but sometimes the problem is also in game. Crisis2 is running smoothly. It looks if the pixels are moving from left to right a couple of millimeters in lines. Sometimes you allmost can't read the text. I allready tried to reinstall my drivers, I used the driver from the MSI site also, and cleaned my system with Driversweeper. With my old card ( Nvidia GT230) the problem is solved. I hope it's just a setting somewhere but maybe my card is bad? Can someone help me with this problem?

we don't known details about your issue, so its possible.
It could be driver related, it could be monitor or monitor cable or something else.

ah alright, then i might need to find another way to get rid of the problem people seem to have with the card with artefacts appearing and going to black screen, but thanks anyways ill check around some more for other solutions

MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk PerfCap with Dual Monitor setup

Hi guys,
as far as I'm concerned, there shouldn't be a PerfCap when running a setup with two monitors on extend desktop setting, am I right? However, my GTX560-Ti does PerfCap and sometimes even does this while gaming (which is incredibly annoying). The only way to get it to clock up again is to reboot my PC.
My question is, why is that and how can I get rid of this behavior? I already tried updating the VBIOS but it didn't help.

I'm sorry, I thought "PerfCap" would be a known term.
As the title states, it's a MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk. The Card is clocking down, GPU-Z reports "PerfCap Reason: Util" which is, according to Google Search, because it isn't challenged enough. However, when running a dual monitor setup it should (again according to Google Search) always run at the default speeds (950/1050/1900 Core/Memory/Shader). I have updated my signature to show my system details as listed in the Posting Guide.
The temperatures under load are okay, the highest I have seen was 76°C GPU, 74°C Memory and 69°C VRM (all of them measured with MSI Afterburner). I have tried several drivers including Beta drivers and always checked "perform a clean installation". I also tried updating the VBIOS. I didn't know what else to try because Google Search doesn't yield much results for this.

MSI R9 270X Hawk Grey Screen of Death

I have the MSI R9 270X Hawk graphics card. Recently this error occurred randomly a grey screen with horizontal lines . It occurs when I try to run a game, also it will randomly occur when the PC is just idling doing nothing, it renders the computer unusable, only 'fix' is to uninstall the 270x video drivers and run the computer with the motherboard graphics. I have the Corsair TX 650 as my power supply. I read somewhere that it might be a PSU issue but I do not believe that to be the case, it is either a driver issue or a bad card. However, for the past 3 weeks I have been running my games fine, (Tomb Raider, BF4, GTAIV, Assassins Creed 4) all on high settings, with no problems. I included a screenshot of the graphics information as well as the OS and ram etc, also a text file with all the detailed information.

Currently seem to have a Grey Screen whenever I boot the desktop with the graphics card installed.
1. I tried system restore to see if it was a program causing the grey screen, but same problem.
2. Tried installing the cd version of the AMD drivers same problem.
3. Installed the latest version of the driver, as well as, beta version same problem.
4. Removed the graphics card and put it back in booted up, same problem.
5. Also tried the Molex Cables that came in the box to different power supply on the PSU, same problem.

MSi N560GTX-Ti Hawk failing on a Asrock N7AD-SLI

Hi. Ive spent three days trying to sort this problem out. Can anyone help?
I have bought a new MSI NGTX 560 Ti Hawk graphics card and after 10 mins or so usage, it crashes my system. I have actually tried two different cards (taking the first one back to the shop) and it happens on both of them.
- Installed a brand new 600w gaming PSU from Novatech
- Installed and ran Liveupdate
- Installed and ran latest NIVIDA drivers for both MB and Graphics Card from Nvida website.
- Installed MB Bios to 1.3 from Asrocks website
- ensure nothing is (or ever has been) overclocked
- Bench tested two separate cards, both had no problems in 3DMark11
- Swapped the SLI blue card on the motherboard top set to single 16x use.
- Ensured 560 GTX card has both power cables plugged in.
- Ensured the 560 GTX card plugged into the green PCie 2.0 graphics slot.
- Ensured there are no temperature issues.
- Ensured teh extra power socket on the mother board is plugged in and has power
- Scanned multiple forums for advice
Im trying to run BF3, CODMW3, Sniper Elite. In all cases after about 5 mins of play, I get a black screen and a reboot or the fans on the card go into overdrive and the system freezes.
The crash has also happened in 2D mode :-(
Would be grateful for any thoughts.

MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk+aftermarket cooler

Hi guys,
I have the hawk for two weeks now and i am pretty satisfied with it apart the noise it makes under load.
So i thought a solution might be changing the twin forzr iii cooler with an arctic cooling accelero xtreme plus.
What is your opinion about this cooler and If you have in mind something better i would like to hear.
Also by replacing the stock cooler will i lose warranty?
I must say my main concern is lose noise and good performance.My load temps with the twin frozr iii are about 73-75 degrees celcious so i need something near this and better.

New mobo(z87) new cpu, no video output n560GTx ti hawk

Hello everyone
I installed a new mobo and cpu yesterday, now my GPU suddenly doesn't work anymore.
The installed mobo is an Asus z87-DELUXE, the CPU is an Intel i7 4770k.
The GPU is a MSI N560GTX-TI Hawk, the board goes in 00AE (Legacy boot mode) mode, after a minute of being in 00AE the board goes to 00A0 which is the normal state. The screen stays black and nothing happens I cannot go to bios. The VGA_LED turns on red and stays red, this means that there is a problem there (according by the book).
All LEDS are running on my GPU and the fans are running aswel, when I put in my older MSI n9500GT it does work (this one only uses one lane + no external psu connection). The onboard graphics work aswel.
I tried putting my graphics priority to PCIE, then it worked once but after that not anymore again.
The drivers have been updated, my HDD has been wiped and a fresh copy of windows 7 x64 is installed, the bios has been updated aswel to the newest version.
When I try to use my N560GTX to test my changes and put in my N9500GT again after noticing nothing changed, I get a system repair request of windows, I tried this repair twice but now it says it can't change anything on it's own.
Have I missed anything or is my GPU dead?

Well, you'd need to test the vga in another system to be sure. Could very well be a compatibility issue with your new board. Make sure it is running at the latest bios version.

It is unfortunate that this is a problem that repeat this often.
I bought the card in February 2014 and been running perfectly until a few days ago came the famous "black screens" to load the drivers, I've tried everything:
- Completely clean installation S.O. W7 x64 with Catalyst drivers v13-12 ---> ERROR
- Completely clean installation S.O. W8.1 x64 with Catalyst drivers v13-12 and the new bios Hybrid for W8 ---> ERROR
- Restore backups S.O. (W7 x64) where the card working properly ---> ERROR
- With the default drivers S.O. Catalyst drivers without the graphics card works perfectly but is useless for games.
I came to think that it is a hardware error and therefore RMA process.
This is the last step I can take before RMA, if no solution with a new vBios these

Black screen with MSI 270X R9 Hawk

I have MSI 270X R9 Hawk and lit yesterday and suddenly your computer when you are loading windos screen stays black, I have not done any upgrade and illustrates this by default.

MSI R9 270X HAWK low GPU usage and screen flickering problem

I bought an MSI R9 270X HAWK vga and I have this screen flickering issue.
My S/N: 602-V303-02SB1310009419
I also had another problem: the GPU usage averages at 50-55% on every game (DX9,10,11 games like TESV Skyrim, League of Legends, Crysis 2-3, Battlefield 2-3, Far Cry 3) and never reaches more than 80%(well, once I made it run at 99%, I used ultra settings on Battlefield 4 with Sync on, Ultra preset settings with 200% res. scale so pretty much the maxed out Settings). I'm using this card with 8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM with a stock clocked 1090T and AMD's reply for this problem was, that this problem can be driver problem as well as VBIOS.

I created a bootable usb, placed the files in it (formated, and only these files were at the usb, dos startup directed to win98boot's folder (C:\win98boot) renamed the tv303ms.134 to tv303ms.rom,l after i placed it on the usb and in the boot menu there are four additional options related to the USB (there's no USB only option): FDD, HDD, CDROM, zip. Selecting the FDD and CDROM starts the windows normally, The HDD option ended on the white-black screen, and there's where I can write: C:\>
after this i tried to type in: atiflash.exe TV303MS.rom [enter] nothing happened, then atiflash.exe [enter] and popped up some help instructions for the use of atiflash, I pressed enter over and over and then requested another command, I tiped in the tv303ms.rom [enter] and again nothing happened (invalid command I think). What should I do now ? I did some research but still can't figure out what the problem is. :/ (If I done everything correct, maybe the problem related to my motherboard or USB stick?)

MSI R5770 HD Hawk - Twin Frozr II

I brought the 5770 Hawk last year to go into my new build system. Finally upgrading from my old dell pentium 4 system (tight budget).
I built the system on an MSI Motherboard (870AG54), with a AMD 555BE cpu (core unlocked & OC to 3.68mhz). I was still using XP Home until this christmas when I was finally able to buy Win7 64bit.
The issue I always seem to have had, is that I seem to get "glitches" all the time when playing games. Initially I only really had Civ5, Sims2 & Far Cry whilst using XP, but even then I Civ5 was almost unplayable at times because of the glitches on the graphics (flashing pixels, missing sections of screen & green dots everywhere). I put this down the the game due to comments I had read about problems with it, and hoped that once I had Win7 it would be ok. But after installing Win7 64bit, the game is still glitchy (although not as bad), and even Football Manager 2012 has lots of glitches in when veiwing matches. I have just brought Skyrim and although it looks great if you stand still (ish), once you move the sreen goes mental with glitches and it ruins that gameplay.
My apologies for my lack of expertise in this field, but whilst I can build and repair systems, I am not an overclocker or really have much experience in graphics card (apart form buying new ones). Can anyone help me out here? Is it my system or the card? Or am I pushing it too hard?
Tend to play games at 1920x1080 w/o AA due to the card not handleing it.

Hi.
When I watch youtube video on HD resolution the screen goes pink and black, after a several second the computer freeze. Only hard reset help.

Yes, i hear this before. It was vga driver related if as i remember.
Try msi vga drivers 1st, else go for latest official [or beta] from Nvidia web.
Before install the new drivers, remove current in Safe Mode with >>Driver Sweeper<<
When installing the new one, select custom install and checkmark "peform a clean installation"

Cant find bios MSI N560GTX-Ti-M2D1GD5/OC

I have a MSI N560GTX-Ti-M2D1GD5/OC and I can't seem to find the bios for it. I tried using the twin frozr bios on these forums but I get an error message stating:

Well when I boot up the computer, the bios screen is is not full screen. There is a black border around the screen. I am positive that it's not the bios because the is the 2nd motherboard I've had this problem with. I'm also positive that its not my monitor either. I didn't have this issue with my ati 6850. Another issue I have is that the linux open source drivers can't even properly detect my video card. So the grub loader for linux also has a black border around it. Once I am logged into windows with the drivers installed, it works fine but this issue is extremely annoying.

Msi 460gtx ti hawk Fading problem.

Hey guys recently purchased Msi gtx460 ti hawk and installed it and while playing games like mafia 2 and gta 4 EFLC the screen was fading like (discolor white black) and it freezes for about 30 to 40 secnds. and then back to normal this happens after 20 minutes from the start gameplay and once this happens then it continues for about every 5 minutes..the card is new replaced once because of same problem.
Using forceware 275.33 and the temps are quite normal as for oc'ed cards..
Is there any problems with nvidia physx or the card itself is the culprit..
this happens only in the games which uses nvida physx..

switch to msi's drivers for your card from msi web and retest.
remove current vga drivers 1st with >>Driver Sweeper<< in 'Safe Mode' before install the new one.
