MSI N560GTX-Ti Power Edition Bios

Can someone pls tell where can i download bios for this graphic card coz on MSI web site i cant find it anywhere. Maybe there is some bios that is compatible with that card but i dont know witch one coz i am afraid not to mess up the graphic card.
Can some1 help pls.
Sry for bad english.

Well i removed the 301.42 with driver sweeper now, and instaled the 285.62. Ill try that one now.
Well there are a lot of cards on the web that are faulty than, coz there is a lot of ppl with the same problem like mine and they cant find any solution. I saw few of them wrote that they did a bios flash and problem solved.
Last VGA was Gigabyte N8800GTS 512, with this card i was not able to play BF 3, after that card got damaged i borrowed friend of mine his Gigabyte 460 GTX and BF 3 worked like a charm. Few days ago i bought MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr III Power Edition i did play for 2 days and it just started to minimize and lock so every time i had to kill it in task manager.
Maybe i should buy a stronger PSU i dont know what to do anymore. :(

    Hey there,
Noticed that my BIOS drivers were outdated so i updated them (Z68A-GD65 G3, version: 25.8), after all the reboots i logged on my computer, started teamspeak, and while searching for the teamspeak room the driver problem happened again.
Anyway, my power supply is NOX Hummer 80 600W, model: HUM80600.
The problems started on September of this year i think? I've had this computer for almost 3 years now. I have the latest Nvidia drivers, and this still happens, i've tried downgrading, fresh installing, and nothing worked.
    Graphics card: MSI GTX 670 Power Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0 DirectX11, S/N: 602-V284-02SB1207063830.
I'll try it tommorow if possible.
    Thank you for the attention.

  • MSI GTX 670 Power Edition/OC max temperature?

I've had a MSI GTX 670 Power Edition/OC working great since October 2012, no problems even with the most demanding games.
But now the summer heat has come (it's 40°C in the shade) and I've been getting crashes (classic TDR, no video signal, windows reboots) when the temperature of the GPU gets to about 80°C. If I leave the case open, it never reaches that temperature and works great.
I can't find the temperature specs for this card, but the reference GTX 670 should run up to 97°C.
Is this normal? What is your maximum stable temperature?
    P.S. I don't overclock, anything.
    Thank you

    Hi there,
the only think I could suggest is that ...
1st. do you have adequate cooling in your system..i.e. case fans etc, etc, and to ensure theres no obstruction to cooling fan on  vga card, always an alternative is to install what they call an exhaust blower fan place that directly underneath your card  and that will extract heat away, I had the same issue with my MSI 6570 card and as soon as I added an exhaust blower mine runs at 33oC and i'm pushing my card to the extreme and temp still stays the same... if that fail then your gpu cooling issnt running fast enough to supply adequate cool air...
I hope that will help you

  • No signal on msi 670 gtx power edition

hi just recently built a new pc,
i,m 98% everything is connected as it should be
my problem is when i switch on, all fans work, graphics card fans work, cpu fan etc
however i get no signal on my monitor, i dont hear any beeps at all just all fans spinning
just to add ive used JPWR1 for the HDD , POWER switch, and reset switch are plugged in on JPWR1 there are nothing on the  JPWR2 (is that right) ?
ive tried just using motherboard dvi only without graphics card connected,
ive tried just about everything i can think of
abviously i cant get into bios to update bios,
am i missing anything to try? it says in the user guide the HDD should be + and - and the  reset swtich should be - and + so abviously the lettering is facing up on the HDD and on reset is the opposite way if you get me, (power connectors to motherboad
could this be a cause why i,m getting no signal, or is it something more ?
ive tried using hdmi on my tv, i,m currently using dvi on my monitor to pc, (just wanted to try hdmi, to see if it would make any diffrence, but still get no signal
dont get why all fans are sinnning on everything n get no signal, if it was motherboard i guess fans wouldnt be spinning?

hi ive tried all of the above apart from trying graphics in other pci slot,
my question is why doesnt it boot up using the onboard graphics? (670 gtx is removed when using onboard graphics) i,m thinking its a motherboard fault, as it should have no issue using onboard graphics? or am i wrong, i will try the other pci slot to rule it out but to be honest if i cant get a signal using onboard i cant see my graphics working on other slot.
but its worth a try before RMA
Yep, my on-board graphics worked fine even with the 670 installed.  The on-board graphics were set to 'only if no external gpu detected'  so my 670 even though booting up, fan spinning and no error beeps was not getting detected.   Very strange.
I also tried the 670 in another computer with a x16 socket and it worked.
I have ordered a new MSI Z77 G45 MB in the hope that it will work in a board of the same make as my 670.

  • MSI Cyclone R6850 Power Edition - Freezing and Driver recovery problem

I've just built a new Gaming PC and am having stability issues along with lower than average benchmarking results.
Randomly, the screen will freeze, sometimes go black then re-appear and an error message from the system tray will appear “display driver stopped responding & has recovered”. The system will then operate as normal until the next freeze.
    I have tried all versions of the 64 bit drivers available from the MSI website, with no change in the issue. 3DMark11 benchmarking results are several hundred points below average, the same with Furmark, as the below results show;
    My system is running at stock, out the box speeds, with no overclocking on my part. The components are listed below;
    Cooler Master Elite 430 Case
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 600W Modular Power Supply
    GigaByte GA-P67A-UD4 (Version B3) Mobo
    Intel Core i5 2500K unlocked

    Coolermaster HYPER 212 PLUS COOLER
MS Win 7 Home Prem 64bit OEM
I'm happy to run any diagnostic/benchmarking software to help identify the issue.

    Thanks for the quick reply,
Unfortunately, I dont have access to another system that would be able to power the card.
I've already booked an RMA with the vendor, but am worried that they will reply with "sorry, the issue is with configuration/software" and be landed with the shipping expenses. The vendor is www.scan.co.uk

But can you tell me than why is it that when i looked at reviews they get 150+ on the clock and mem +600 when people who bought this card only manage to get in between +20 to +50? they did not use the aux voltage.
Quote from: flobelix on 10-March-13, 21:40:22
Overclocking is a matter of the individual sample. Some cards of the same model might clock great while others won't.
    Quote from: hurricane28
I heard that the first cards would be able to put more volts but the later cards having volt locks because its high potential?
If so could i get the older bios versions of that card or get another bios on my card?
It just don't seen fair that the first cards could overclock way better than the latest cards.
and it is not that some cards are better ans some are not because this is my second card i get because i was thinking it was broken because of my problems.
Nvidia forced all card manufactures including MSI to remove GPU overvoltage above 1.175v. It has nothing to do with potential but Nvidia dictating to stop overvoltage. MSI is therefor not allowed to offer unlocked versions. Again overclocking is a matter of the individual sample and your 660ti PE is already higher clocked by default than most other manufacturer cards could do with manual oc.

    Hi,
I have the following problem since I replaced my graphics card (before 9800GTX+, now MSI 660Ti Power Edition 2GB) I got 3 random restarts while playing games. The computer is not overheating, the CPU's temperature is around 58-59 degrees after running prime95 for 3 hours. The graphics card temperature is 70 degrees after running furmark for 1 hour, the stress tests never failed, just when running games. The computer has been stable. For case cooling im using (2X12cm front, rear 1X14cm below 1X12cm and above 1X12cm +1 X14cm).
I got two random system restarts while playing Doom 3 BFG and one system restart after playing Wolfenstein for 4 hours. The PC just restarts itself.
What could be wrong? I have no more ideas? Should I replace the CPU cooler (im running the stock CPU cooler but all stress tests dont show overheating?!)
Is it possible that the PSU is the reason, but it should be strong enough ...
    The system:
    GA 870A-UD3
AMD Phenom II 1090T (cooler box)
MSI GeForce 660Ti Power Edition OC 2GB
    12GB RAM (12GB Kit 3X4GB DDR3 Kingston Genesis 1600)

    Thermaltake Thoughpower Q-Fan 750W PSU
    Housing NZXT Source 210 Elite
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
    Thank you.

The temps for the graphics card are quite normal. I have the same one and under load it will go to 70 to 75C, depending on ambient. What Nvidia driver are you using? Did you do a new driver installation?
If I look at your CPU though, then you are very close to the max CPU temp and throttling may invoke the shutdown    http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?id=640&f1=&f2=&f3=&f4=&f5=&f6=&f7=&f8=&f9=&f10=&f11=&f12=
    62C is max.
Could also be your PSU that's not completely stable and continuous power draw may cause Overcurrent or overtemp protection. Speculating here as to probable causes.
Another possibility is your RAM. That should normally be paired in 2's. Have you tested with only 2 modules ? Remember we don't support that MB here, but its just another test I would run. But you would know, probably having run it like that with the previous GPU.

  • 20A 12v enough for R7850 Power Edition?

    Hi,
I recently purchased an MSI R7850 2GB Power Edition.

sorry it is German but you can see the photos.
Thanks for the reply! I tried the 12.11 drivers last night, and the issue is still there.
Here is a screenshot of my machine playing Witcher 2: http://postimage.org/image/6ew87dn85/full/ - If you look at the helmet on the right side, you can see a lot of dots. You can also see them on the character's clothes, and in the top-right corner (they look like circular outlines in this section)Pretty much everywhere! If I play on LOW setting, the dots are less strong, but still there.
Here is BF3: http://postimage.org/image/3kbhepavp/full/ - As you can see, the issue is pretty terrible on this game! It makes no difference what settings the game is on.
    To summarize:
Not the PSU (brand new Corsair)
    Not RAM Timings
Not the Catalyst Drivers or Mobo BIOs
    Not overheating
    Not the MOBO/CPU (brand new)
Thanks for the help so far, but any other ideas? I have a feeling this brand new card is faulty.

  • GTX 670 Power Edition OC versions ?

    Hello.
Today I've got a question about the MSI GTX 670 Power Edition OC graphics card.
I'm about to buy this card but I've found that there are two version of it: MSI GTX 670 PE/OC and MSI GTX 670 PE/OC G ( notice a "G" at the end ).
The question is, what that "G" in the model name means, what are the differences ?
    Greetz, `NX.

    Quote from: `NX on 10-February-13, 23:06:14
I mean, I was wondering if going with Radeon 7970 wouldn't be a better idea
But I'm not sure of Radeons.
depends on your plans to use the card for! some games like Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Medal of Honor Warfighter , dragon age and some more respond better to AMD cards while alot of others are more geared towards Nvidia ones!
so what do you plan to do with your graphics card? generally Nvidia ones are better all round but it depends on what your doing with them to which way is better!

You sure your PSU has enough amps on the 12V rail and you connected the PCIE power connectors properly ?
Have you checked your Motherboard's BIOS revisions for updates regarding the later video cards ?
Your PCIE Bus interface should be 2.0 X 16. Have you reseated the card properly and disabled the on board graphics in your BIOS ?
My PSU is a SevenTeam 750ZAF with 750W. I used it to do SLI of my 9800GTX+ in the other computer and never had problems with it. I doubt that this could be my problem.
The GA-EP43-DS3L already has the ultimate BIOS and I did the update on the GA-A75M-D2H BIOS. Nothing new, the problem persist.
Anyone of my boards does not support PCI-Express 2.0 but this is not a requisites for  work of the video board like said the MSI page:
    http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTX-448-Twin-Frozr-III-Power-Edition-OC.html#?div=Feature
"PCI Express 2.0 doubles the bandwidth of previous generations of PCI express up to an astonishing 16Gb/s. This maximizes the performance of current graphics cards in today's most demanding games and applications. PCI Express 2.0 products are fully compatible with mainboards with other versions of PCI Express."

  • MSI GTX570 TwinFrozr III Power Edition: Unstable at stock unless fan is 100%

    Hello Everyone,
I got my GTX 570 TwinFrozr III Power Edition yesterday and I like it a lot.  I've been testing it and running it through various benchmarks and games to find the best stable overclocks with Afterburner.  By doing this I noticed a few things that lead me to question if there is a problem.
Before I started trying to overclock, I ran the card at the stock settings 770core/1540shader/2000memory @ 0.962v and tried various benchmarks and stress tests.  Immediately I noticed there were errors and artifacts.  I tried to increase voltage and I noticed that the artifacts and errors were going away, so I thought maybe my VID was too low...  at 1.012v it seems to be error free at stock settings.
I tried another thing as well, I left the card at stock VID (0.962v) and put the fan speed to 100% and I noticed all errors and artifacts completely gone.  So I lowered fan speed to 70% because 100% is too loud for me and 70% is still pretty loud but it's better...  I found that at 70% I still got some errors but not a lot.  Let me just say that my GPU Core temperatures are amazing. never over 62c.
So now I don't know if there is a problem with my card or the factory just gave it too low of stock VID.  I think it's kind of weird that at stock settings that the card would produce artifacts and errors unless the fan speed is at 100%.  I'm guessing MSI factory tested stock overclocks with 100% fan speed?
I love this card, but if I ever resell in the future and someone installs this card they will think its broken.
Let me just state that finally, the card is an overclocking monster.  I am now at 950core/1900shader/2300memory @ 1.082v without any errors...  The only problem I have is that when I run unigine heaven I see some of these graphical anomalies.  Here's an example I found online which is exactly what I see.  http://fotohost.lv/images/n6azp80ru74so1ecp009.jpg
So far I'm not sure what the cause is for that... but I think that when I put the fan at 100% I didn't see it.  I could be wrong, but I will test again when I wake up tomorrow.
    Thanks MSI.

Thanks for the reply Henry, but the problem here is that it wasn't stable from the factory at their settings.
Do you understand how this can be problematic for me if I ever decided to sell the card?  It is no problem for me to raise the voltage at all.  I think this card is phenomenal, but if I ever sold this card to someone else who doesn't want to or know how to overclock or adjust voltages, it would be classified as a broken or faulty video card.
Also scratch the stability at 100% fan speed.  I still get some errors, although not many.  The card seems to be stable around 1.018 volts at default overclocked settings.
I just didn't expect MSI to make a mistake on the stock VID.  If there were a way for them to fix it through a bios update it would be great.
Edit: Just for the record, the card is a great overclocker and is very stable.  The only gripe I have is that it isn't stable at default frequencies unless I bump voltage to 1.018.  This is no problem for me, but if I ever were to sell this card, I would have to have a disclaimer that it is unstable unless you put voltage higher?
I'm just trying to figure out if this could be some oversight on MSI's part and if it isn't, could my card not have been quality inspected?

  • MSI Power Edition N650TI PE 1GD5/OC and D975XBX2.

    Hello.
I would like to make a upgrade, but I am able to afford only replacement of the videocard.
    My rig
CPU Type - QuadCore Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700
    Motherboard - Intel Bad Axe 2 D975XBX2 (Bios v2618 - 02.12.2007)
    RAM - Corsair Dominator CM2X1024-6400C4D (DDR2-800)
Video Adapter - XFX GeForce 8800 GTX 768 MB       (I prefer Nvidia)
Power Supply - Thermaltake Toughpower 850W
    OS - Windows XP 32bit (SP3)
I was interested by the MSI Power Edition N650TI PE 1GD5/OC (PCIE 3.0) card as read that videocards of a 650 series are compatible to PCIE 1.0 x16.
I would like to consult with you before purchase.
It is very important for me:
    - Videocard has to work reliably in XP.
    - Performance of the PC shouldn't be lower than with the old videocard.
In the Geforce GTX 650 Ti user manual it is told that it uses 6-pin connector.
Is it the same connector as for 8800 GTX?
    Sorry for my bad english.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello.
I just found a review of a buyer of MSI Power Edition N650TI PE 1GD5/OC in Newegg.
This review disturbed me very much.
    Quote:
Not PCI express 1.x compliant as MSI states, and the PCI standard mandates. I have tried this in 3 older (still
powerful) PCIe 1.x computers, and none work correctly. Anything that relies only on the GPU (like games, and all of
the benchmark tools out there) work fine, but anything that requires higher bandwidth between the motherboard and
video card (like watching a movie) looks terrible with all sorts of rendering defects that get worse with more
movement (higher bandwidth). Tested the same card on a PCIe 2.0 system (which is actually slower than one of mine)
and it worked fine, so I know the card is good. I also know the motherboards are good because I have older PCIe 2.0
cards in them that work fine.
Could you please comment on this?
    Thanks in advance.

  • MSI GTX580 Twin Froxr III power edition problems.

Hello last night i kinda played around with afterburner and checking it with Kombustor, doing some testing in various benchmarks, at one point it said gpu throttling -3MHz
The card never exceeded 63 degrees C no artifacts at all, so now when i push reset on afterburner it goes to stock settings only kombustor shows throttling -3MHz but at 803-841 on core and 2005-20025 memory it shows no such thing but sometimes oc doesn't seem to get me all that better results, well the highest i got in heaven is 1377 stock 1260 something.
Can i have damaged the card even though it never was getting hot at all?
I am  noob at OC but i know something about it and i know as long as i don't meddle with voltage  i can+t really burn the card and also i use 70+% fan speed on the card when oc´d/gaming
have i really hurt the card?
    since combustor/furmark shows797/800, GPU-Z 800 core afterburner shows 800MHz core 2004 memory

797 to 800, yes. As far as I can see MSI says 800Mhz and not 810Mhz (http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N580GTX-TWIN-FROZR-III-15D5-POWER-EDITION-OC.html)
      Yep!
Oh yes, almost no game is currently more stressing than BF3.
so i see now that i looked at that link it shows 800 mybe i looked at another oc´d card adn got mixed up
i also wonder ewhen i raise the clock to say 846 adn memory to 2036 i sometimes get lower rsults on heaven for example than if i just oc it to tiny little 810mhz core and keep memory at 2004 how come it goes that way?
i also wonder there is a bios for my card on MSI website but i do not know if it is newer than the one on the card, it said something about stability
and thank you now i can sleep alot better knowing it is ok :D
