I also never run Furmark again as it draws too much power and can damage your card.
Btw I think there is no new BIOS for GTX580.

My bad. The obvious lack of your self research got the better of me. I do not take helping, if I can, lightly. This is new technology, & a lot of expertise is in short supply. I downloaded the manual on this board & read the bios section, & in CMOS Setup, you should find an "Enable" setting for Turbo Boost. If you don't, please contact MSI Tech Staff @ http://ocss.msi.com.tw Also, (in your manual), is a reference under "Intel Turbo Boost Tech", which clearly states "for further information please refer to Intel's official website". By your original post, CPU-Z says it's an SLI? What did you buy? Does it say on the retail box? At MSI's website, the X58 Platinum (not the SLI), has version 1.0 bios offered in three global region zip files. M7522v1.0 Euro.zip, M7522v1.0 ASIA.zip, & E7522v1.0.zip. J.T.N. is correct, the SLI board takes something else. Are both boards bios's compatable? I have no idea. Recommend step one as to confirm with MSI what board you truly have & go from there.

As advised by MSI live update I've upgraded from 143 to 113 bios.
Seems to have solved the problem of not having a signal to my 4K monitor through DP on boot.
Also no problems so far...
I've read several posts about this being the wrong bios for my serial #.
My serial is 602-V317-15SB.....
Can you please confirm that I have the correct bios?

After flashig BIOS I cannot change parameters "Shutdown temperatures", "Spread spectrum" and some others !!!

I have also noticed that the bios write protect control is missing.
I don't know the reason why it's been removed but if you want to protect your bios you can set the jumper (J16) on your motherboard.
If the jumper (J16) is shorted (Little plastic thing conecting both pins together) then the bios flash is locked and can't be updated.
If the jumper (J16) is not shorted (Little plastic thing removed) then the bios flash is unlocked.
Also can anyone tell me if two gameports are listed in the Device Manager after clearing cmos using bios 1.7.
Bios 1.5 is ok apart from the fact that i can't upgrade my processor to 2.6GHz as it only supports up to 2.2GHz so if i upgrade processor i won't be able to clear cmos because of the problem with the gameports.
I have tried everything to get rid of one of the gameports but nothing seems to work apart from going back to bios 1.5 which is no good because i wan't to upgrade my processor.

*Solved* MSI P43 Neo-F DPC Latency Issue - Latest BIOS Fix

Hi, I'd like to avail of the latest BIOS fix for the DPC latency problem on my MSI P43 Neo-F (MS-7519) 1.0.
I'm currently using BIOS 1.9, I haven't flashed to 1.A yet. Does 1.A include a fix or is there another BIOS that's as up-to-date as 1.9 or 1.A that would have the fix, with any links to download? I'm thinking along the lines of the A7519ICI.1xx series, whatever is the latest.

OK, so here's the story. I couldn't relax with those voltages showing up as they were, so I flashed my BIOS to A7519IMS.1A0 (1.A), which is the latest public release for the P43 Neo-F. I was previously on A7519IMS.190 (1.9) before today.
When I flashed to A7519ICI.104, I noticed the version number was actually 1.10B4 (which I'm guessing can actually be expressed as 1.AB4 - a beta version for the latest public release, 1.A). The flash to A7519ICI.104 solved the DPC Latency issue, as when I used A7519IMS.190 (1.9) it was spiking.
There is a happy ending. The flash to A7519IMS.1A0 (1.A) has also shown no spikes in the DPC Latency test. It seems the fix must be present in the latest public release BIOS for the P43 Neo-F after-all!
This screen-shot was taken just a moment ago, proof that the issue has been resolved without a modified BIOS:

Please make sure that your motherboard is in-fact the MSI P43 Neo-F (MS-7519) before you flash the BIOS with any of the ones contained within the link above

800MHz, 4096MHz are the right clocks for your card and not 822...4276

It will be still OC-ed, stock/reference clocks are 772MHz,4008MHz,
while you will have 800MHz, 4096MHz as OC version

Help - How to Update Bios on MSI N580GTX SLI

I have searched and all I ever see are instructions about updating the BIOS on the Mobo.
I have two MSI N580GTX that I "think" I need to update the Bios. For some reason LiveUpdate 5 doesnt do a thing when updating in Windows.
System Specs:
W764 Ultimate
AMD Phenom II X4 970
MSI NF980-G65 (MS-7612) v1.4
MSI N580GTX (SLI) Bios Version 70.10.17.00.01
What are the steps ? For Video Cards ?

MSI GE60-2OD Latest Bios

Hi All!
I'm looking to see if anyone has encoutered this issue before.
My current Bios is E16GCIMS.611
I am trying to update to the latest Bios found here GE60-2OD.html which I hope will solve an issue I'm having.
Whenever I try to update to the E16GCIMS.617 I get an error Security_violation Invalid Rom image.
I've attempted multiple times both through bootable forum flasher tool usb and through UFI update option.
Anyone got any ideas?

Completely certain, that was my first thought too.
So to eliminate it I have downloaded it using different computers usb keys and internet connections (mobile data, work and home)
Same result each time.
Interestingly I am pondering another chain of thought which is that my laptop may not be the GE60-2OD as I looked at my puirchase receipt and found It listed as 2OE however the current BIOS identifies itself as 2OD
I don't know maybe I'm just plucking straws!
