  • Help! - need a 'TV-OUT/Video_In 1-to-4 connector' cable

Ack! I got my Ti 4200 video card awhile ago, and only recently decided to try and capture some video from my VCR. But lo and behold the people I bought my computer from didn't send the 'TV-OUT/Video_In 1-to-4 connector' cable that the video card should have come with. The people I got my computer from don't even sell this video card anymore and wouldn't be any help anyways, so now I have to find one somewhere else.
Anyone know where I can buy one? Anyone have a spare one they'd like to sell?

  • CAn I use MSI Tv-Out card with my ASUS

Asus has no optional Tv-out card or sth like that.(I'm using the ob GF2MX)
Can I use the MSI tv-out card with my Asus a7n266-vm or it is just for MSI nforces.
Here in Turkey it is 17US$+VAT.Is is high or normal?

Hi...I did a little price search on internet before, for msi`s tv-out card...Its even selling with a price of 22$ in usa...So Turkey`s price is good....But I dont have any idea about it works in asus boards or not....But My friend bought the addon card for his msi board and It doesnt have any markings like it only works in msi boards n its manual....I think ıt should be work on other nforce boards....Just a reminder...He is unhappy with the tv-out adon card...because somehow detonators detect it but doesnt lets you play with tv-out settings in advance display settings section....You got tv-out screen , nothing more....No output on start-up the computer(Post section)....Only with windows....You need programs like tv tool for tweak its settings...

  • Audio line out port (Apple iPad Dock Connector) not working Iphone 4 os 4.2

For my new iphone4, the audio line out port (Apple iPad Dock Connector)is not working. Both using a cable to mini jack (3,5 mm) or in dockingstation.
    I'm using OS 4.2.
    IS this a bug?
    Thanks
    Hans

I just came back from the Apple store.  My iPhone4 DOES have a working line out when plugged into a Apple name brand dock connector.   I don't know why my SendStation refuses to work only with the iPhone4 yet works with iPods, etc..
Solution? I'm buying an Apple iPod dock connector for home and will try to find something with line out for the car - Apple says they do not make one.

  • MSI H67MA-E35-B3 S/PDIF internal connector

A quick question before I decide on buying a new motherboard... Does the MSI H67MA-E35-B3 come with an S/PDIF out connector/bracket for its internal header??
    Thanks.

If they don't come with one there are other brackets readily available that will work on it. Those S/PDIF brackets rarely come with a MB.

  • When will MSI put out firmware that recognizes media properly?

i just got a replacement drive from MSI.
It is a CR52-A2 and I just updated the firmware to 180D.
The drive will not recognize  my CD-R's at their proper speed.
The 52x media it insists is 32x.
    Same with the 48x media.
I put an LG 52x drive in the same machine and it recognized the media at the correct speeds, so this a FIRMWARE PROBLEM with the CDRW.
I had the same problem with the old MSI drive, but I hoped that a year later
they would be able to figure this out.
I will never by an MSI CDRW again.

    Which hardware?
My computer? or the MSI CDRW?
The 8348 that I used to have only recognized one blank as being 48x times
and that was the blank that came with the drive.
All others, because of serious deficiencies in the firmware, it recognized as being much slower.
Same thing with my MSI 52x burner.
During the several months I waited for my replacement MSI CDRW,
I bought an LG 52x burner.
It recognizes the correct speed of media, including numerous brands of 48x 52x and all speed media.
It will burn blank media at the correct speed including up to 52x.
So since my computer with Nero software can correctly burn 52x CD's with my LG burner, It must be the MSI drive that is the problem.
BTW, look at the latest firmware revision

    Release new F/W version 180D
    1. Improve high-speed CD-R/RW medium compatibility
WHAT DO YOU SUPPOSE THIS MEANS?????
It means that they know that the previous firmware didn't recognize media properly.
    And guess what???
    IT STILL DOESN"T!!!!

    32x is a definite improvement.
my MS-8348B only wrote at 16x.
The same disks in the current drive write at 32x in the MSI drive.
IN the LG drive at their rated speed.

  • MSI Neo2-FR Power (JFP1 and JFP2) connectors

    Hi,
The MSI Neo2-FR manual on page 2-16 list the pin assignments for the front panel switches and LEDs.
Questions: Are the white wires considered the negative wires and the color ones considered the positive ones?
Does anyone know if the illustrations used on page 2-16 of the MSI Neo2-FR motherboard manual have any errors in them, such as, incorrect label of positive and negatives pins?

They forgot to give the polarity for the power led in the manual for JFP1 and JFP2. If you look very closely at the colored plastic around the pins on either connector the + pins are marked with a + in the plastic.
And as Del UK said normally white or black is negative and colors are positive.

  • Why did my 5G Classic stop putting out audio to peripheral ipod connectors?

My 5th Gen 80Gb iPod Classic was working superbly until this past April.  I used it in a Sony iPod Dock and my new Tundra using the USB connection religiously for the past two years.  It worked fine without any issues until one day in mid-song, the sound went out while playing in the Sony.  The iPod was still playing, but no sound was being output to the Sony dock.  (This did happen on a beach in 80 direct degree sunlight onto the Sony unit, but the dock is covered by a door and little sunlight would get to the iPod).  I then returned it to my Tundra audio via USB and it did not wake up automatically and get recognized by the audio system as it did before.  I had to press the wheel button to get the Tundra's audio system to recognize it, but then it played (and still plays) fine thru USB.  I since purchased an iOn Block Rocker, with an iPod dock that I have tested with an iPhone, and it works perfectly.  I plugged my iPod Classic into the same jack and it will not output any sound to the iOn either., not even thru the RCA jack via the earphone connection.  I tested the RCA with my Infuse 4G Phone and IT worked perfectly as well.  I think there may have been some event with the accessory interface pin(s) on the iPod (if such a thing exists) or maybe one of the chips that processes the accessory signals got hosed
Anybody here have an idea what causes this behavior and how to fix it.  I have reset my iPOD to factory defaults a few times and have updated it to the latest software version thru iTunes.  Any knowledge or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If the reset does not work try the remaining items of:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Pin out for connector block - CB-50LP (50 pins)

    1. Need pin out designation for 50 pins connector block, for use in multifunction DAQ (6024E)
    2. Connections from 6024E to 68 pins connector block.

    1.  How are you connecting the 6024E to the 50 pin connector block?  Any special 68 to 50 pin cable or adapter should have a pinout that comes with it.  If you have an NI cable or adapter you should be able to look in that part's manual online at ni.com and find this pinout.
    2.  What specific 68-pin connector block are you using, is it an SCB-68?  For an SCB-68 the pins on the connector block are mapped to the same pin on the 6024E or any E-Series and most M-Series boards.  The pinout for the 6024E will be the pinout for the SCB-68.

  • Can anyone help me sort out the audio on my k8n neo2

Audio has never been one of my strong points so im stuck trying to get the onboard sound on my k8n neo2 board to work properly. The case i have has front connections for  headphones and another for microphone. Ive managed to get the front headphone jack to work i havnt got a mic so i cant try that. I have tried connecting my stereo speakers (part of my monitor) to the line out at rear (green jack plug) , i notice in the msi sound manager they refer to this connector as front speaker out. I had no sound at all until i came across aforesaid msi sound manager, the only way i can get sound is by going into this manager and selecting "speaker configuration" and either selecting 8 or 6 channel which i havnt got but at least i can hear a cd when its playing. The problem with this is that when i boot into windows there is no sound played. I have noticed in the mobo manual page E-2-20 under msi reminds you.. If you dont want to connect to the front audio header (JAUD1), pins 5&6, 9&10 have to be jumpered in order to have signal output directed to rear audio audio ports. Otherwise the line-out connector on back panel will not function. Wonder if this has something to do with it. I encclose an image showing the relevant mobo page with connection instructions and the wiring of front panel jacks from my case instructions.
on the JAUD1 pins 6 and 10 audio signal returns for right and left channel  but my case wiring only had a single return in the form of the shield braid so i split it in two and connected to pins 6&10 to see if this would cure the no sound problem, it didnt. Just hoping the image is big enough for people to read. Hope someone can help with this.

Well lets see if I can help.
    Connect like this:
    Red---->Aud_fpout_L
    Jump with Red---->Aud_ret_L
    White---->Aud_fpout_R
    Jump with white---->Aud_ret_R
I think is... Spiral---->Aud_gnd this you have to share with the mic that is also Spiral
As for the mic .... MIC power---->Aud_mic_bias
    MIC-IN---->AUD_mic
    And I think that's it....
    Be well....

  • MSI X99S Gaming 7 Won't Boot

    Hi -
I just recently purchased an X99S motherboard.  I put it all together, and all was fine for about 24 hours.  I updated the BIOS and then started running a defrag and left the machine on while I went to work.  When I got home, the machine was off. It's not responding to the power button the board or on my case.  If I turn the power off on my PSU and turn it back on and hit the power switch, I get a split second flash of lights and then nothing.  I initially thought that it was my power supply so I bought a new one.  I got that installed and same thing.  One thing to note is that the MSI LED up by the 24 pin connector is on red.  I've already tried the secondary BIOS and I have removed all of the memory except the DIMM in Slot 7. I haven't yet tried to remove the board from the case yet and tried it on a non conductive surface.  I just wanted to get some thoughts on that debug LED that is currently on. I believe the motherboard has just died, but wanted to run it by someone first.
    Here are my specs:
    Board: MSI X99S Gaming 7
    Bios: Version 14.7
    VGA:   MSI GTX980 Gaming
    PSU:   EVGA 1000 Watt G2
    CPU:  Intel Core i7-5930K 3.5GHz
    MEM: Corsair Vengeance 2666 4x4gb CMK16GX4M4A2666C16
    HDD: PNY 256GB SSD
    COOLER: Corsair CWCH60 Water Cooler
    OC: None
    OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

Take it out of the case, place on non conductive surface (wooden table, motherboard box) and run it then. Also try with single RAM stick in every RAM slot.
Try clearing CMOS >>Clear CMOS Guide<<
Also make sure all power connectors are properly fitted in.
What way did you update the BIOS? Also was it successful?
