MSI Update for Flash Player 10.1.102.64 Problem

Hello,
I have a little problem.
I have downloaded 2 .msi package, one for IE and one for Firefox. I need to deploy this by GPO.
My system is ok, (I use GPO for other programs too).
I reboot a computer to make test and install the update.
No problem.
In the event manager of this computer and on the server too : No Problem.
When I look the version number on IE (with this link : http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ), the version is 10.1.102.64 so : No Problem.
When I look the version number on Firefox (with this link : http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ), the version is 10.1.85.3 so : Problem.
I don't understand...
Some one can help me ?
Thanks you.
PS : I'm sorry my English is very poor...

All my GPO works excepted this one. (The GPO for plugin flash for IE too)
This is my FlashInstall.log :

  • How Can I Get the FULL Installer for Flash Player 11.1.102.63?

When I try the "Download now" button at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/, I only get a stub installer that then requires downloading the remainder of the installer.  I maintain both my own PC and my wife's PC.  I want to install Flash Player 11.1.102.63 twice but download it only once.
When I instead try the link for "Flash Player for other browsers" under "Windows 32-bit", I get the full installer for Flash Player 11.1.102.62, not the full installer for Flash Player 11.1.102.63.
The latest version of Adobe Reader is available via FTP at ftp.adobe.com.  Why cannot the latest version of Flash Player also be available there?

at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580 the link for downloading "flash player 10", "for other browsers", still results in the OLD version of FP 10 being downloaded, not the newly updated version, build 10.3.183.16..
in adobe's security bulletins, it says that you can download the updated versions of "flash player 10" on the "archives" webpage but there are no direct downloads for FP 10 on the webpage, except for downloading the zipped packages, with the "debuggers".. it would be good if there were direct downloads for the updated versions of FP 10..
also, when i go to the "download center" page, http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP , if i go there with "firefox 3.6", it recognizes that i am running "firefox 3.6" and offers to install "flash player 10.3", but if i go there with "internet explorer 6", it is not recognized and so i am not offered "flash player 10.3", for installing.. in this situation, i need some other way to get "flash player 10.3" for "internet explorer 6"..
adobe should make things easier for everyone by providing direct downloads for flash player..in my case, i use "flash player 10", so i need direct downloads for it.. yes, it is nice that the downloads are posted in the forum, but why not do it right and have in on some webpage, like on the "archives" webpage where adobe says that "flash player 10" can be downloaded, except that there are no links there for downloading it..

  • Does Adobe still release updates for Flash Player 10?

Our users are currently on XP and are using Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.18.
Does Adobe still release updates for version 10 or do we have to go to 11 to be up to date security-wise?

The latest update for Flash Player 10.x is 10.3.183.20; you can obtain the installers from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

  • Security update for flash player....did it install?

Yesterday on dec 16, I had a window pop up on my comp telling me that there is some security update for flash player so I clicked install and it was connecting and everything...then I allowed Adobe systems incorportated permission and all that stuff which was normal....then the adobe helper stopped working and I got a message saying that it will have to close the program......now I don't know...did the updates install or not...what were the security updates so I can check...any advice?

Hi, well DLM is Download Manager and sometimes it is used to D/L FP. It is supposed to disconnect after FP is downloaded. Go to Add/Remove, you should see Flash Player 10 ActiveX listed. If the Adobe Download Manager or DLM is listed Remove it from there and reboot. It is not supposed to be there after it serves it purpose.
The version is 10.0.42.34, I hope you just made a typo:-)
Also, if you are using IE, go to Tools>Manage add ons and look to see if you have listed Shockwave Flash Object......
ActiveX......Flash10d.ocx and that it is Enabled.  Be sure to check in "currently loaded" and "have been used".
In Firefox you would look in extenstions, add ons or plug-ins, look for SWF.
In order for FP to operate properly, you need the ActiveX in IE and the SWF plug-in in FF.
    Thanks

    Hi,
i'm a new member of this community. I've recently learn about flashback malware and other threats to Mac devices. I've installed the new Mac OS X update for Lion 10.7, and the flashback removal tool. What about the update for Flash Player? Should i install it? Otherwise, should i permanently remove this app?
    I realy need some advice.
    Thank's to all.

Be sure to install the latest version of Safari (version 5.1.7) which is available via Software Update (in the Apple menu) if you have not already installed it. This update will automatically disable older versions of Flash when new versions are available, and will instruct you on how to install the latest version on your system. This should help keep your system safe from any vulnerabilities in Flash.
Note that this is only useful if you use Safari, though other browsers have their own update mechanisms you should research and enable or configure to your liking.

  • Is Using the Automatic Update for Flash Player Safe? It is Installed In System Preferences On My Mac

    Hello-
One day I noticed that there was an icon on my MacBook Pro of Adobe Flash on the last row of system Preferences.  I had never seen it before, and I had ben using Flash for a long time and updating it regularly.
It recently told me there is a newer version.  I did not let it install it because I am having so many problems with viewing Flash Videos on websites.  I have a MacBook Pro, Mac OS X 10.6.8.  I use Safari 5.1.5, the latest as far as I know.
In using this automatic updater for Flash (there are actually several tabs when I click the Adobe icon not just the updater) in the Advanced tab of the Flash Player icon are there any special things I should do if I click yes update?  should I close all the windows, apps, Safari?  do a restart?  I am debating if I should do a Clean Install, wipe all Flash Player off the Mac and just install the latest version rather then letting the updater install the latest version, which I think is 11.2.202.228.  I currently have 11.1.102.64 with a bunch of video issues.
    Thanks for any assistance.

  • Getting error when trying to download update for flash player with OSX 10.91

Trying everything to download update for Adobe Flash Player. This is maddening. I have tried uninstalling previous player and re-installing and checked my preferences. Can any one give me some instructions that are easy to understand. I keep getting an error when installing.

There usually is an Adobe flash uninstaller that goes through a process satisfactorily.
Did you get the Adobe Flash update from their
    page, directly?  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Also note the extensive info at Adobe link below.
If you are having trouble, or Safari is involved, if
you use a different browser, such as Firefox, etc to
get that version Flash update. There's another thing to
look into, in Mavericks, that older OS X didn't
    have, that may affect installation...
In System Preferences, find a Flash Player preference
under "Other." Click on the Advanced tab and then "Check
Now" in the Updates section. An available new one
would be installed. There is a similar issue/answer

  • Scam update for Flash Player

I tried to update my existing Flash Player when a prompt turned up on my computer, only to find out when it was too late that it was a Scam.
It uninstalled my exixting Flash Player and now will not allow me to reinstall Flash Player at all.  I have been trying for about three weeks now with no luck.
This happened once before and Flash Player came back of its own accord, but not this time.
    Please can anyone help me?

  • Away3D 4.0 update for Flash Player 11 beta

Congrats to the Flash Player team on the new release!
To mark the occasion, we have created a new repo for Away3D 4 that has a few minor updates to run correctly in the new player. update your sources by pointing your clients at:
    https://github.com/away3d/away3d-core-fp11
This will be the repo we will be developing in from now on, so please bear in mind that the broomstick repo will have no more updates as of today. It's been a wild ride, but we had to bid farewell at some point!
over the next few weeks we will be working towards an official beta release for Away3D 4.0. Any questions, please ask!
    cheers
    Rob

I'm just getting started with away3d, and a few problems that I ran into with my setup were the following,
When attempting to incorporate an away3d example in a flex app I kept only seeing a white screen.
    Which after some googling,
    http://groups.google.com/group/away3d-dev/browse_thread/thread/5e13cb2f0d21b5f2
turns out I just needed to set my application's backgroundalpha to 0.
I was then faced with only rendering a black screen as well, which for me turned out to be a problem rendering objects as default wireframes.
When I set a color material on my reference cubes and spheres all was well.
I'm sure there are other reasons why the sceen would render only black but hopefully for those having similar simple scene setup problems this will save them some time.

  • Regarding security update for Flash Player 9 (Flash Player 9,0,124,0)

We are facing issue in STOMP client because of newly
    implemented restriction on flash player.(
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/flash_player9_security_update.html).
Because of this, Our STOMP client is not able to get messages
    from activemq.
We have tried to add socket meta files as discussed in others
article but we were not able to get solutions.
    We have done below stuffs.
    1) Added LoadPolicy code in stompclient for getting
policyfile from server running on 80 port.
    2) Also set xmlSocket as load policy to get connection from
    stompclient to Activemq.
    1) PolicyFile.xml(loading this also in STOMPClient.swf)
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM
    "/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
    <!-- Policy file for xmlsocket://socks.example.com -->

    <!-- This is a master-policy file -->
    <site-control
    permitted-cross-domain-policies="master-only"/>
    <!-- Instead of setting to-ports="*",
administrators can use ranges and commas -->
<!-- This will allow access to ports 123, 456, 457, and
    458 -->
    <allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="*" />
    </cross-domain-policy>

  • Installing Update for Flash Player

I have installed on my computer Adobe Flash 11 Plugin and Adobe Shockwave Player 11.6. I am composing a photo book with Shutterfly and encountering some problems. Shutterfly suggested that I clear the cache and cookies which I have done. They also suggested that I install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. I attempted to download; it begins to install and then stops. I have Malwarebytes......does it need to be disabled in order to install the Flash Player? If so, please tell me how to do this and reinstall.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking one of the following links and selectiong "Save Target as" (IE) or "Save Link as" (other browsers).
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save the installer to your downloads folderv - DO NOT run it yet.
    Reboot your system.
BEFORE you opening anything else, locate and run the installer.

  • Turn off the automatic update for flash player 10

Corporation wants to control update on users machines.  not all users administrators on their machines.  How do I turn off automatic prompt for update.  What will happen if I delete Adobe Updater?

    Hi, This can be Unchecked:

  • No update for Adobe Flash Player 10.1.102.64 for MacG4 PPC Tiger,  ... hmmm

Adobe has just tagged "Critical" vulnerability with NO UPDATE for its Flash Player 10.1.102.64, the latest and now apparently last version for PPC macs running Tiger:
    Adobe Flash Player Update
    What are our options?
However, updates were announced for Adobe Reader 9.4.1 to 9.4.2 and for Adobe Shockwave 11.5.9r615 to 11./5.9r620. I've installed these updates.
    Thanks.

    What are our options?
    Don't use Flash.
Don't worry about it since driving in a car is probably more dangerous.
Buy a newer computer which is what we'll ultimately have to do in order to stay up to date.
Not feel so bad about it when in a week or two they report security holes in the new version and one realizes there will always be bugs and holes.
Not focus on it because we're so busy worrying about how we haven't been able to do any other security issue patching in the past year since Apple stopped doing Tiger security updates.
I'm going with 2. If I suddenly see my computer speaking Russian and my keyboard bursts into flames when I try to override it, then I'll worry.
However, updates were announced for Adobe Reader 9.4.1 to 9.4.2 and for Adobe Shockwave 11.5.9r615 to 11./5.9r620. I've installed these updates.
Thanks for the information, I'll check those.

  • Flash Player 10.1.102.64 for Mac have Problem

I am using Mac OS 10.6.5. And currently my flash player updated to 10.1.102.64.
After the update I got problem. The flash player can not display video streaming which have a cropped size.
for example, I stream a live video through FMS using normal video size for dimension 16:9 is 640 x 360 is have no problem.
But if I cropped the streaming size, for example into 640 x 352, then the video won't displayed. But it displayed without problem if using previous version (ie: standalone debuger Version 10.1.52.14 ) or using 10.1.102.64 in windows.
Please advise if someone else having the same problem.
    --- updated
I tried change all my live video streaming using 640x360. The problem now become intermittent. Sometimes I can view the video, but sometimes also not displayed. At the same time, I tried using version 10.1.52.14, always can view the video without problem.

Hi Cija, pull it back out & mount the DMG & use the Installer, but first uninstall any previous version...
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/865/cpsid_86551.html#prob1=uninst,os=m10.6,
    Download this if you haven't...
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp10.1.102.6 4_and_9.0.289.0archive.zip
Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.
Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!
Or I put up the smaller ones here...

  • FYI: Getting installers for Flash Player 9.0.151.0 security update

There are different avenues for getting the Flash Player
9.0.151.0 installers mentioned in the recent security bulletin
APSB08-20 Flash Player update available to address security
    vulnerabilities.
Most users may have already updated to Flash Player 10, and
any trip to the Flash Player product download center
(/go/getflashplayer) will only provide Flash Player 10. That site
always delivers the most recent version.
If you have installed Flash Player 10 and do not have any reason
to test or use Flash Player 9 then no action is required.
But, if you require Flash Player 9.0.151.0, how do you get
    it?
Regular desktop users should follow the advice of the
security bulletin and obtain the EXE and zipped DMG installers for
9.0.115.0 from “Flash Player 9 for Unsupported Operating
    Systems” (
    http://www.adobe.com/go/kb406791).
The title might be misleading, but the bits have all been updated.
These same installers are also available in "Archived Flash
    Players available for testing purposes"
    http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14266
Anyone needing a version OTHER than EXE or Mac DMG
(enterprises who distribute Flash Player, folks who need MSI or MSP
installers, etc) will have to get the installers from the free
Adobe players licensing program. Any user completing the program
(which has recently been rebuilt from scratch) will obtain access
to the bits once approved. The approval process is very quick.
    http://www.adobe.com/licensing/
The licensing site contains bits for both Flash Player 9 and
Flash Player 10. All have been updated to the most recent versions.
Some customers may be using the old licensing site links, and
they won’t see Flash Player 9 bits. We suggest that all
customers request either a new license or a resend of their
existing license to get the correct URL’s.
Again, if you have installed Flash Player 10 and do not have any
reason to test or use Flash Player 9 then no action is
    required.

We are currently using Adobe Flash player 9 on Windows XP operating system. We would like to know if Vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player 6 Provided in Windows XP, could Allow Remote Code Execution mentioned in Microsoft Security Advisory (979267), is resolved in Flash Player 9? For more details on vulnerability please refer "Microsoft Security Advisory (979267)". I have been wondering for the answers from a week and I have even logged the same in forum which fetch me no result. Could you let me know regarding this.
Since we have security related issue with this please consider this call at high priority.
