MSI USB PC to PC assistance please...
I sure didn't see this in any other posting... I have a MSI 850 Pro5 board that came with the software and USB bracket (or so I think) for connecting two PC's via USB. I can't however figure out how to do it and am hoping someone can direct me in the correct direction. Maybe I should also ask if I need "two" MSI boards for this to work? Thanks.

Since you may be willing to help me some... Thank you by the way. I'm running Windows 98SE. Maybe I needed to start with different questions. Which connection is better suited to play games between two PC's and/or what connection is better to deal with file transfers between to PC's? Not sure what all my choices might be... LAN (I don't have a cable however), DCC with the correct parallel cable which I do have, or the USB thing (assuming I have that cable)?

BootCamp won't load on first boot from USB created by Bootcamp Assistant
So I have created a bootable USB via the Bootcamp Assistant with the support files etc, formated a paritition to run off of. I also have tried formating through disk utility to no avail.
I have tried things like using a USB drive, using an external, un plugging all external devices from my mac while running the set up, and nothing I have found online so far has seemed to work.
Where the problem is, when I boot from the external drive or USB created by bootcamp assistant, it will literally just freeze on the first screen where I select the language and that stuff, not even a USB keyboard or mouse will help.
I have managed to get past that before, but then It wont let me format my hard drive correctly to install it
Any ideas?Please post in the Boot Camp forum, thats where you will find the MS Windows and Boot Camp gurus. Note also it's Boot Camp, and not Bootcamp which is something you do when you enter the military.

first: why did you download the iOS Beta 8? If you are a developer, go to the Apple Developers website and check what they can do for your case.

Whenever I try to enter my credit card information into iTunes via either my mac book or my iphone it says there is an error and says "for assistance, please contact itunes support, etc...". Can anyone help with this?

I keep getting a message to update my flash player, then a screen showing flash player pro appears, I don't have this on my iPad that I'm aware of. I cannot view videos etc (new to ipad) can anyone assist please.

I suspect your error was 1015, not 1051. This usually involves a jailbroken iPhone, use Google to find your solution.

HUGE PROBLEM, NEED ASSISTANCE PLEASE
So I wanted to completely erase my drive; I backed up my drive first, and when I was ready, I went into Recovery Mode via command-r on restart. I went into Disk Utility, selected the partition, and hit Erase. A message popped up saying that the disk was encrypted (which it was, I used FileVault) and I entered my password, and then some error message popped up and my partition just vanished. I assumed that I had erased the partition like I wanted, but then when I clicked on the drive to create a new Partition, it reads, "This partition contains a locked disk and can not be resized until it is unlocked." I can't do anything with the drive now...
When I restart, it brings me to the login screen (the one after you encrypt your drive with FileVault). When I type my password in, it starts to boot, but then the Apple logo turns into a "Do Not Enter" symbol. I go back into Recovery Mode and nothing changed...
I did some searching around and I read that there is a way to manually unlock the drive through Terminal in Recovery Mode. I did EXACTLY as the steps explained...
1. Type in: diskutil coreStorage list
2. Copy the UUID
3. Type in: diskutil coreStorage unlockVolume xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
But then I get a line that reads something like, "This is not a logical storage UUID"
I've search around but I can't find any solutions... what can I do!

So there's the Disk Utility window, right? On the left side of the window there's the sidebar, in the side bar there are the items "Macintosh HD" "SuperDrive" Then a dividing line... "disk1" and a subitem called "Mac OS X Base System"
Unter "Macintosh HD" and on the Parition tab everything is greyed out. Unter partition Layout: the drop down menu is greyed out. The big partion window is greyed out, but it says, "Macintosh HD" in the center. Under that are the "+" and "-" buttons and "Options..." are all greyed out.
Under Partition Information, the Name "Macintosh HD" is greyed out. Format "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" is greyed out. Size: "255.2 GB" is greyed out
I have a DVD and a USB with Mountain Lion on it. I also have a USB with Disk Recovery Assistant. Would either of those help? -

hi, i am really new to photo shop and i have a logo design which i need to have the background made transparent from a white square? can anyone assist please?

is the background apart of your image or is the image on a different layer?
if the white background is on a different layer you can simply delete the layer for the layers window which you can find in Window>Layer. you will need to delete the background layer by dragging it into the little rubbish bin icon down the bottom right of the layers window.
