".msm"-files in different language

I have a german version of the app-builder but would have to build a french installer. In order to do this (the way that the customer when installing my app has the french runtime engine installed) I have to replace the merge modules ".msm" in the applibs with the french ones.
The runtime-engine installer (downloadable from this site) doesn't include the merge modules.
Running the whole stuff from a batch file that first runs the app installer and then the runtime engine is not an option (order from the customer and to avoid useless install-steps for the end user).
Where do I could get these ".msm"-files for LV6.1 (I can provide a valid app-bilder sn)?
Didier

I will check if I can provide these files and contact you via email.

  • Parsing XML file with different languages (Xerces)

How do we code or program to an XML file with different
languages , say english and spanish. WHen we parse such a document with the default locale , the presence of special characters throws errors .For eg when I use xerces and use
    DOMParser parser = new DOMParser();
    try
    // Parse the XML Document
    parser.parse(xmlFile);
    catch (SAXException se)
    se.printStackTrace();
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0xfc) was found in the element content of the document.
    System Error:          void org.apache.xerces.framework.XMLParser.parse(org.xml.sax.InputSource)
So what locale do we set before we parse ?How to handle this problem

You need an encoding attribute in the xml declaration. If you don't, the parser assumes UTF-8, which are ASCII characters up to 127 - useful (only) for English.
So, something like this would allow you to use characters above 127, ISO-8859-1 is the encoding used by standard PCs.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
You can find a (offical) list of encodings at:
    http://www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets
I'm not sure about mixing various encodings. I think you have to resort external parsed entities, which can have their own encoding, but I think you cannot mix encodings in one XML file.
    Good luck.

  • In RoboHelp 11 Responsive HTML5, is it possible to have 2 different language outputs in one generated output file?

In RoboHelp 11 Responsive HTML5, is it possible to have 2 different language outputs in one generated output file, similar to WebHelp where the use can select the language from a drop-down list? In Webhelp output you could create multiple Content categories. Is there something similar with the responsive output, or am I forced to have a completely separate set of output files for each language (for example, English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Arabic)?

As Rick, mentions, there's no default way.
Having said that, there's nothing stopping you from doing it yourself. You can add a kind of language selector to the layout and set that for every html5 output. With some JavaScript, you can have the user switch between your outputs. It would look like content categories, but you'll have build it yourself.

    Hi,

I'll give it a try. And you may also post your question on CreatePDF discussion forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/createpdf?view=discussions.

    set this and try.

  • Read different language from the file and upload data

    Hi Expert,
I am loading customer master data through BDC( trx-XD01) by reading a file from PC. The file contains customer data in different language like English, Chinese, and Japanese etc. However, when creating customer master data, only those data in English are able to create, as I am in English log on. The data in other language is showing garbage value. However, when I am logging in with that language (say Chinese) this time I am able to create customer for Chinese data but not for other.
Can someone one help me to solve this problem – irrespective of language in the file and SAP log on, I should able create customer through my program.
    Thnx ,

  • If a pdf file is written in indian language but prints off in a different language, what could be the issue?

Most likely the issue is non-standard fonts.  Are all used fonts embedded in the document?

  • How to load and unload more than one external swf files in different frames?

I do not have much experience on Adobe Flash or Action Script 3, but I know the basics.
I am Arabic language teacher, and I design an application to teach Arabic, I just would like to learn how to load and unload more than one external swf files in different frames.
    Thanks

Look into using the Loader class to load the swf files.  If you want to have it happen in different frames then you can put the code into the different frames.

  • How can I create 2 catalogues (same design but different languages)

    Hello,
I have to launch 2 catalogues (32 pages) in Indesign, with an equal layout but different languages. My client will need to start them both and won't wait for a agreement on a Master file. He'll update the layout all along the realisation (color, pictures and graphic design).  To avoid waisting time by correcting twice, would you have a tip to link both composition and enhance automatically the background layout and ajustements over and above the languages ?
What would be the best method ?
Thanks a lot for your advices !
    Caro.

    Welcome to the discussions.
In the Accounts tab of Mail's preferences, you can set the Full Name (I don't know how it will be labelled in French - it is the 3rd field in Account Information). This is the name that will be displayed in the From column of the recipient's mail client.
But if the mail accounts are for two different users, it would be better to set up a separate login account on the mac for each of them, and then set up the mail preferences for the separate users.

  • How to support different language and print in non-english language from AS

I want to print different language that users enter in Oracle 9i AS and print reports in english and other language like spanish.
How do I configure the AS Server, I am running 9i AS on Windows 2003, I have changed NLS_Lang setting in registry but it doesn't work.
Please provide setting and if any environmental vairables I have to set in Reports properties files or elsewhere.
    Thank you.

Did you select the languages on the first screens of the Universal Installer, when installing this instance? If not, you may need to do it again to enable support for that language.

  • Upload positions-text in different languages?

    Hi folks,
we have to enter positions in different languages. To enter new positions we use a flexible upload - method. We have got one upload-file for EN and another one for DE.
    The problem:
if we upload the EN-file, the text of the positions in DE gets blank,
if we upload the DE-file then, the text of the positions in EN is blank.
So one of the fields (either DE or EN) is empty and would have to be entered manually.
What can we do to upload both DE and EN - text for the positions?
    Is this possible at all?
    Thanks for your help,
    Thomas

    Hello folks,
it´s possible to upload different languages!
It´s easy if you know how to do it:
create an upload-method with (at least)
Positionplan and language in the header
Position-nr and text (short, medium, long if you want) in the body
--> NO further information (hierarchy, type or whatsoever)!
Create a file with information above
    Import the file
--> if positions are available the new language will be filled in
--> if you accidently address a new position you will get an upload error (as no hierarchy-info is available).
Hope this will help others as well,
    Thomas Kejik :-)
PS: special thanks to Tanja Ritter who provided this trick.

  • Not able to Export sap script with RSTXSCRP in different languages IT,ES

    Hi all,
I am trying to export sap script to local file using this program RSTXSCRP, but it's working fine for English but not other languages like IT,ES and DA. Even if i specify parameter in selection screen Language vector as IT. It's not exporting code from sap script for IT language. By default it's exporting only EN.
Can you please tell me what I have to do to export sap script  from different language.
    Thank you.

    Hi!
For Translating you can do it by
Going in transaction SE63 -> Translation -> Abap objects -> Other Long Texts -> FS Forms and Styles.
There you have to enter client and form name source lang. and target lang.
Then you export it with the program RSTXSCRP in the language u have translated....
As you have form created in English and  you can download and upload it in only  English .
    Regards.

  • Why does my Finder have two different languages in the Menu?

    Hi
My Finder seems to be showing two different languages? Most of the menu items, like File, Edit, View, Go and Help are all in English (my preferred language under System Pref, International, Language). However, i am not exactly sure when (or what i did), but some of the menu items under Finder (Shutdown, Sleep, Restart etc.) and under Window (all of the menu items) were in a Chinese language.
So i went to the System Pref, Internaltional, Language and unchecked them. So that only the English variants were selected. I restarted....and all it did was change the same menu items that were in Chinese to a Norwegian (????) type language.
I have reinstalled my OS 10.4 and it was still the same. I then ran all the updates....and it was still the same.
I have run the Optional Install on the OS 10.4 disk, and tried the Language Translators reinstalled....and still the same.
Apart from formatting.....does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi BDAqua
I trashed the /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist file ......rebooted....and it didn't fix the language issue in Finder.
I then did as you suggested (show package contents) and found the file path System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/MacOS/Finder
I then did a Get Info....but didn't see any language section tabs.
When i Get Info on the System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app
I can see the language tab.....but it is all shaded out (i.e. i can't make any changes). I tried under the Ownership and Permissions tab to change the "Owner" section from System to My Name. However, this did not give me access to the language tab. I also tried to change the "Group" section to My Name (was on Wheel????). But i had no success in changing the language.
Are there any other angles i could try?
I have done quite an extensive search on the internet.....but haven't found anyone with the exact same issue. This was the closest... http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-34796.html
But i tried everything they suggested (except the format option). I haven't posted on any other forums yet either.
Thanks again BDAqua for all your assistance!

  • Developing Acrobat plug-ins for different languages

I presently have an Acrobat plug-in created specifically for the English version of Acrobat 6 and higher. Can someone tell me in general what has to be done in order to accommodate a different language, i.e., Spanish, German, for those using Acrobat? Would the entire script that creates the .api file necessarily have to be written in the specific language or only parts thereof that produce the desired effect in using it? Thank you ahead of time.

That's Great! So basically, if I wanted to market a Spanish version for a plug-in that added a calendar to a PDF form, then all I would need to do is change the script to display the text for each calendar month in Spanish as opposed to English. Does that make sense?

  • Xmlp reports in different languages using XLIFF translation

We are doing xmlp reports in different languages using XLIFF translation and it is working fine. But for Arabic and Japanese pdf reports printing “????” instead off Arabic and Japanese. Upgraded Adobe Acrobat Reader to 7.0 and down loaded languages support updates but its still not working.
    Are we missing anything?

    Hi,
I am also facing the same issue. I am also getting "????" instead of Hebrew translation. I am trying to generate PDF file using the XMLP API. It works fine when tried to generate from MS Word using the "Preview Translation" option.
Please let me know is there any configuration parameters that need to be set.
