By the way, it's now called "windows live". It's a pretty handy feature and you can use it for free on WLAN.
That's right people, I'm back. Where have I been? I have been getting a life, away from this electric madness.

    Hi guys
i cant find msn messenger on ovi store anymore, was it removed?
    thanks

    Hi,
Yes, MSN messenger has been removed already from the Ovi store for some reason. What you can do though is to search from non-nokia website for MSN application that is compatible with Symbian Operating System version 5.0. I was able to find one in the past but I forgot where I was able to download it.
    Hope this helps.

Hi can anyone plz tell me where i can find the msn messenger software for nokia nE65
    thanx

in all honestly i wouldn't bother with ms's crack at providing a msn app on the symbian os.
if you're willing to shell out a lil bit of cash then try either agile messenger or turbo msn. both are good apps.

    Thanks

You won't find an msn application for your phone but there are plenty of 3rd party applications such as Fring, Nimbuzz, IM+ that supports msn. Just goto www.ovi.com and search for msn.

if you do not want those listed above and want the MSN, you need to use the application called "Download" in your phone. Be warned though, that you use wifi for connection rather than GPRS or 3G, coz these will be with a charge, unless you have unlimited data plan...

  • Msn Messenger For Mac

Why does the Messenger Mac looks like an oldest version compared to windows. Does anyone know a n msn messenger mac which stands on the same ground as windows.

There are several alternatives to MSN Messenger for Mac. Some of them, like aMSN and Mercury, support a webcam.
But not all messengers are ready for Intel yet.
Currently the only messenger which is made universal, is Fire (but this one lacks features like webcam support).
On the other hand, a java based messenger like Mercury should be able to run on Intel.

  • MSN Messenger for Iphone

Any idead if there is or will be msn messenger for iphone?

I'm just guessing here, but I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing a chat application that will work much like trillian - covering all chat programs. I've seen already "hacked" versions out there that work with MSN ( I haven't hacked my phone since I'm patient enough to wait ) so I'm sure there will be "legit" ones to follow.
I'm still not sure of the usefulness of this on a cell phone. I had AIM on my black berry, and I didn't use it as much as I thought I would ... and I'm on a chat program all the time when in front of a computer.

Ok. so I'm trying to find a version of MSN Messenger for my Mac and there was a version to download on Apple's website, but when i opened it, it opened in something called HexEdit, and was all binary code. I have Mac OS X 10.5.2 so it should work, but I don't know why it wont. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions? Cause I'd really like to be able to have MSN on here. Thanks.

  • Messenger for Nokia X2

    Hi,
I am in need of a Messenger for my Nokia X2. I want to basically chat with my friends on Gmail. So a basic Gmail Chat Messenger will do the job for me. And if MSN Messenger also gets supported, it will be an added advantage for me.
I tried downloading few messengers by downloading them via Nokia Ovi Suite, but none of them are working (like What's App, eBuddy, Nimbuzz etc.) The application starts loading and even internet connection is being used, but ultimately they don't work. I don't know why. My Nokia X2 firmware is updated to the latest version and phone's internal memory is almost free. I have not installed any other software and keep my music etc on my 4 GB memory card only.
Also tell me if there is any trick to work with two applications simulataneously in Nokia X2 like working with Calculator and some other application. Because apart from Music Player or Radio Player, X2 doesn't lets us open two applications.
    Thanks

    Hi abdultauhid,
Have you already tried using the software recovery tool? This should fix the issue. If you're unable to find the link, here it is: http://nokia.ly/1iniCnP

  • Window live messenger for nokia

is it possible to download window live messenger on nokia?http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/nokia-microsoft-sign-windows-live/story.aspx?guid=%7B0BA646E0-...

There is a new version of windows live search for PC's, which uses a silverlight plugin, called
"tafiti". Is Nokia planning to support a mobile version of this browser on N-series or S60-series phones?

here is a copy of the notice I posted on the Danish engineering magazine "Ingeniøren":
Microsoft has launched a new website, Tafiti.com, that delivers Windows Live Search in a Silverlight interface. Tafiti, swahili for “do research” or “to search”, is more of an expriment, showing the cool applications and UI that are possible with Silverlight, but it is fully functional, with Live Search, including web search, books search, blog search, news search, and image search. It appears that you have to uninstall the Silverlight 1.1 alpha and re-install the 1.0 Release Candidate to make it run (that’s not getting annoying).
You can drag searches over to the areas on the right side, then, share them with others or your other PCs (or Macs). Each search stacks on a card above the last one. Tafiti uses some pretty cool animation, only possible with Silverlight. There’s a really cool carousel that rotates among search types. The news search uses a very cool newspaper style view.
There’s also this cool tree view, that shows items from the search on a rotating tree. It’s good for a screensaver, and can be clicked to run full screen.
On10 has a video demo of the website.
Check out Tafiti, it’s pretty cool, and it goes to show you what Silverlight is capable of. Five guys built this, so the possibilities are more than there for small teams to do cool things.

  • PETITION FOR WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER FOR NOKIA N97 ...

I and we have been waiting for the Windows Live Messenger to be released for Nokia 5800 and N97 for ages now. I cannot understand why has other Nokia models has it not those models apart from China which have it for Nokia 5800 and N97. What is going on Nokia?  Not many of us like using 3rd party messengers  If any of you agree with me please do post and hopefully they will wake up.

    Ye!
**bleep** is it about you and N97???
We bought a phone we where hoping to be able to use.
And what happened? Ye right, NOTHING!
U don't support your own phone...
N97 is an expensive phone, that you don't get a **bleep** about!
How many of your N97 owners do you think will buy a Nokia next time???
Like ZERO? Because they don't want to pay expensive for nothing...
So start supporting your own phone!!!!

  • FIRST CHARGING TIME FOR NOKIA E61i BATTERY

Hi everybody, please i like to know how long i can charge my Nokia E61i before use. I mean the first charge.
    Thanks.

    hello darry,
yes, that's what the vendors use to suggest me, otherwise the battery may not reach it's full potential. I had no problems with batteries till now.
My E65 also has a Li-Polymer battery, I first charged it for 14 hours (they reccomend 12 to 16) and it works for 6-7 days in normal use (Bluetooth and WLAN off, about 40 min talking/day + 50 sms's/day + occasional web browsing via WLAN)
I think mine really lasts longer than some of the people who posted here some problems regarding battery life.
