MSN messenger (what can I download since iChat not compatible)?????
I have a iMAC OSX (10.4.8) - I'm trying to chat with friends via MSN messenger. iChat is not compatible with this. What can I download to be enable me to voice chat/allow webcam option? I have tried Mercury & aMSN and neither of those have voice (????)

don't take this the wrong way, I know you are trying to help, but that wasn't helpful in the slightest. Yes I realise that they don't know me personally, and hence don't know what my actual birthdate is. When I fill in online forms I generally do them accurately. I have no idea how they have it wrong, but what I was really alluding to was, can someone please tell me how to contact Apple so they can do it manually. this is doing my head in royally, since I cant download any apps etc on any of my apple stuff, as my account has been frozen.

Well, for sites flash support, as said, now many sites support HTML5, and HTML5 is fully supported on iPad, so don't worry about.
For videos playing and watching, Air video is one of the app can do some help, that can convert videos. Besides, to YouTube video, you could use YouTube app or download the YouTube with a Free YouTube downloader such as iFunia for offline watching.

I did made a copy of all my CC programms. for using on my other workstation. now is the CC desktop app not syncing the programme information. it do not see or sync the installed programms properly. what can i do. i do not want to download the hols set. because of a slow connection

The GB size of the download file is the compressed size (like .zip or .dmg). When the file is installed/uncompressed it can be 2-3 times larger.
How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

What version of OS X are you using? (If you're not sure of the version, use > About This Mac, and see what version you have.)
Some additional details or some background on why you can't download Adobe Flash Player would be useful. Are there any errors reported when you try to ownload the installer from Adobe? Do you have anti-virus or anti-malware tools installed? Do the folks that maintain your systems and your network simply deny access to Adobe Flash Player (usually due to the many security vulnerabilities of Flash Player)?
If you want to view Adobe Flash content, then you will need to download and install Adobe Flash Player either as an add-on (and only downloaded directly from Adobe, as more than a few scalawags will offer fake Flash Player downloads and fake CODECs; those are usually some sort of malware), or the version of Adobe Flash Player that's integrated into the Google Chrome web browser. (AFAIK, there's no good alternative to these for OS X, as the Flash format was proprietary to Adobe.)
If the content providers offer alternative formats in addition to Adobe Flash content, then you can sometimes use Safari extensions such as the ClickToPlugin to ask the web site to offer H.264 content in place of Adobe Flash, where that format is available from the content provider. -

Never done this before. My Apple TV was perfect until I installed Mountain Lion. Upon syncing my Apple tv, it mysteriously rebooted, asking me language and tv type. Then the Apple comes on, flashing light, and back to language. Apple said hey no longer support it, though it is not very old. Wasted $399. I had ips 180 g almost full of movies, pics, etc. that are now gone. What can I do? Very unhappy with Apple, now.
You can buy Microsoft Office for Mac, it includes Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Or you can download a free copy of LibreOffice which contains substitutes (good ones) for the Microsoft Office programs.
Do not even think of using Boot Camp unless you have a complete and current TM backup or a clone to restore if it goes wrong. You will also need to buy Windows and Microsoft Office for it. And you MUST read the directions very carefully. -
I can't download pictures from not protected sites to my directory
For example if I go to the site www.ad.nl is a Dutch newspaper.
I stand on a picture, click the right mouse buttom and select store picture on disk in my selected directory. I lookslike it works well, but when I explore my directory thier is now picture added.

If you are saying you can't turn off find my phone because it is still using an old ID, you need to change your ID back to the old address at My Apple ID turn off find my phone then change your ID back at my Apple ID. -
Windows 8.1 downloading but notebook not compatible
My HP 2000 Notebook PC is not compatible with Windows 8.1. It crashed already when it was accidentally downloaded. I had it fixed. Now 8.1 says it is downloading and I need to restart my computer "now" or in 2 or 4 hours, no other options. How can I stop it from downloading? I turned off automatic updates but it doesn't help. I have to turn off my laptop to get rid of it and I know this is not good. Any suggestions?
