MSS Add-on SP2 availability

Currently we have MSS add-on sp1. I have few issues (including performance issues) which I believe will be resolved through certain notes which are available in SP2. But its not released yet.
I dont want to apply individual notes as they have many manual steps. Does anyone know when will SP2 be available?

We already installed BP ESS 1.50& MSS 1.51 in NW EP 7.0 EHP2.
What are pre requisites for installing BPMSSADDON in NW Portal. Is there any impact to our scenario after installing MSS ADDON?
At the same, Can we need to install EA-HR_MSS Component in R/3?
PLEASE give me the suggestions on this.

I understand firstly the screen is not for managers we have used the same iView of managers and give the access for HR users with additional OADP settings.
So now the issue is that if this HR users see the employee under there tree but some are visible and some are just blank as shown in the screenshot if you see. However when they hit that blank one still data is visible. why is it balnk shown ?

EPM Add-in not available in RRMX

Hello All,
EPM Add-in is installed and can be accessed through MS Excel.
In our scenario, BEx Analyzer is accessed through RRMX Txn however EPM add-in tab is not available in the Excel. Our customer needs both BEx Analyzer add-in and EPM add-in the same Excel which is opened through RRMX.
Why is EPM Add-in not available through RRMX ? How can I get both BEx and EPM add-ins in the same Excel thru RRMX?

What is the cost to use my phone in Malawi?What temporary add-ons are available?

I am travelling to Malawi this month for 1 month. I will need some form of communication out there. I expect I will probably buy a phone and international SIM whilst I'm there, but before I do so I wanted to explore what I can do with my current plan. I am on an EE Regular 2gb plan. Unlimited minutes and texts within the UK and 2gb data. I have no roaming minutes/texts as part of my plan. So my questions are: What add-ons are available so that I can use my phone in Malawi (Africa)? - I have had a brief look on the website, but these seem to only go up to 120 minutes, which is not a great deal and I would need more. Also I don't currently have my phone insured. If I was to get it insured through EE would it cover me against theft - whilst in Africa or anywhere else for that matter? I could buy an international SIM now, but assume my iPhone is locked to EE? Thanks for any help!

System Landscape for ESS/MSS in EP60 SP2

I have installed EP60 SP2 on J2EE 6.20 and MSSQL. I have imported business packages ESS 50-4 and MSS 60-1-5. I have created the folder Systems in Portal Content and created a system SAP_R3 with aliases SAP_R3_HumanResources, SAP_R3_Cross, SAP_R3_Travel, and SAP_R3_Financials.
My 4.7 R/3 system is app server R3DEV02.domain.com, system id DEV, sysno 01, client 100. My ITS server is http://itsdev01.domain.com:71/scripts/wgate/webgui/! using client 100. My EP path is http://sapport01.domain.com:50000/irj/.
Given this information, can anyone tell me exactly what parameters I must set in the system landscape for system SAP_R3 and what the values should be for ESS and MSS to work properly? If I go to the System Landscape Cockpit, system SAP_R3 fails all tests.
Any and all help is certainly appreciated.

WRT SAP_R3 system landscape test failure, I ran into the same issue earlier, for a SAP_R3_Dedicated system. Keep the same setting values, but leave the system id (DEV) Blank, then test.
Your definition of (Application Server Host Address + System Number) should be sufficient for a SAP_R3_Dedicated connection.
I hope this will resolve your system TEST problem.

I just read that we are experiencing an issue with the addons.mozilla.org site where Firefox for Android is blocked from installing extensions. I don't have a time frame for it to be resolved. Though I will try to update this thread when the problem is fixed.

When will Forecasterfox add-on be available again?

I installed upgrade version 29 and now the add-on Forecasterfox is not compatible. I think it is VERY unfair not to warn of add-ons that will no longer be compatible 'before' an upgrade is applied! Do you know when/if the Forecasterfox add-on 'will' be compatible??

That's a really good idea, but I (nor this community) is not the one to make that decision. I think that would be a good idea for a bug.... Worst thing that happens is that it gets marked as WONTFIX.

Untrusted connection; Add exception not available

I ''really very urgently'' need to access a certain website, but I get the message saying the connection is untrusted. The developers have acknowledged the problem and say that it will resolve itself--in about 12 hours. I don't have time for this. And this is where it gets particularly irksome: whereas in the past I was able to add an exception and get the hell on with my life, it appears this button has been removed from Firefox 11. This gives me the distinct feeling that I am being treated like a goddamn child, and I find this unacceptable. Now, how do I add an exception?

Same problem and haven´t found a solution yet!
The button "add exception" disapear in version 11 and 12.
I like firefox but every new version we have undesirable issues.
Solved this issue accessing with Google Chrome.

Just download the epa file and import it into your portal and assign the myHomeRole to your user and check the example.
You will see a star symbol in the IView tray and while clicking on this, you can jump to sdn.
You have a property in Iview to show/hide this star link in Iview tray.
So all codes are available in the par file.
Later I am planning to post a blog on this to show case this example. Will update you once it is done.

are you using MSS ADD on? You can use LPD_CUST
You can do this at the portal level using workset and add or remove iviews
or from

Manager Self Service MSS EHP5 in Webdynpro ABAP?

Hi All, I have one question. According with the different documents and the OSS Note 1450179 - ESS Based on Web Dynpro ABAP Available as of EHP5 we know that now is possible to use another portal different than SAP portal in order to use the ESS. Right?
But .. what about the MSS? I can´t find info about if the MSS is WEBdynpro ABAP enabled or not. Is it possible to use the MSS with another portal (Websphere) ?
Or is the MSS only for WebDynpro JAVA so that means SAP portal?

According to Note 1588625 - Release information for Manager Self-Services Add-On 1.0, the MSS addon will be release for Portal and NWBC , so if you don´t want to use a porta you can use NWBC but,
How can we call it from a Websphere portal? Is there any integration option using NWBC and Websphere portal?
And in Note 1582553 - Release strategy for the ABAP add-on EA-HR_MSS you can see that now, the availability of EA-HR_MSS is only in controlled availability, and until end of 2011 will not be fully released!!
