MSS attendance

Hi Gurus,
Am very new to Portal& ABAP also.I have installed the MSS pacakage in my portal. When I assigned to user my staff and my budget role is coming. In my staff ,attendance overview is displaying in graphics by default. I want to change that it by table format.how to do it. ?Shall we have to change in SPRO?As well as I have to customize the teamviewer also..How to customize it..? Guige me pls..

you have to change the Webdynpro for java code and for that you need NWDI.

Changing Layout and RFC used in MSS Attendance Overview iview

Hi There,
We are using HTMLB based MSS iviews and need to change layout and information on Attendance overview screen. We got required PAR file and i can create a project based on this PAR as well.
Now i see so many errors due to missing import, even com.sapportals.html* based import statements are indicated as error..
If i have missed out something during import of this par file, how can i correct it now.

MSS Attendance Overview

Manager is unable to view all subordinate employees in attendance, he can only view direct subordinate employees on MSS. please advise on how to make manager view all employees in attendace.

MSS Attendance Overview Error

I am simply trying to view the Attendance Overview application in MSS, straight out of the box. The customizing in R/3 has been carried out, but I am getting an error in the portal that says:
"com.sap.pcuigp.xssfpm.java.FPMRuntimeException: No property defined with ID TEAMGROUP".
When I run the test program in RPTARQUIATEST in R/3, I receive no errors. Therefore, this leads me to believe that the error lies within the portal, and not within anything in R/3.
Even when I do a "Preview" of this iview I am getting the error, yet I can find nowhere a property is set to value "TEAMGROUP".
Any ideas? Thank you much!

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it. The Org Assignment in infotype 0001 is maintained for all employees in the group who should appear in the Attendance Overview. However, I'm not familiar with the Group field and the Agent. Are these also on infotype 0001? I can't seem to find them.

MSS Attendance Overview iview

We have a situation where some managers see all days in a month while other managers see only weekdays. I have not had any luck finding any configuration that might control this.
Any thoughts?
In addition, is there any place to configure what colors are displayed and to control how they are determined?

Issue with Attendance Overview Graphic

Please, kindly help our colleague.
Issue:
In MSS -> Attendance Overview
In the graphic, for "Open request", shows colour BLUE however in the legend shows colour PINK.

Thanks for reply.
I checked the notes, first two are valid if the graph is not displayed at all. The last note discusses the problem with Team Calendar.
We are facing the issue with Attendance Overview. The graph is getting displayed. But instead of pink color (for open leave requests), dark blue color gets displayed, with dark black lines around it.
If there are no open requests, graph gets displayed correctly. Please suggest the solution.

Plz Tell me the what configuration Exactly needed for Team calender in a leave Request page.
in R3 i have been to the the Tabel   V_PTREQ_TEAM where i found the below things.
Earlier I found Group of orgnisation for Team view mode alsp ATTEND. i changed into ESS_LEA_EE. and i transported it but Now use ,

Seminar Sessions are not visible under My Calendar for Seminar Hosts

Dear support Team,
I have created 2 Seminar sessions but I am not able to see the sessions under My Calendar, even if I am the host of the Seminar. Last week, it was possible to display the session... Do you know if it is due to the settings?

The following details will display while applying for leave below the calender images

Note for approver:   Please may i have 1 day leave

once the manager approves the leave, employee can view the calender about the status. If approved the employee can click on the date to see the note which was written by the manager. Even manager also can view the note in MSS > Attendance > Team calender.

how can i make visible to both????

MSS Absence/ Attendance Report output

Attendance and Absence report (PT64) in MSS is not producing results as a default. It require that user must click on Expand all inorder to display the data.
Does any one know if that option can be defaulted so users do not have to perform this extra step.
Unlike R/3 there is no input parameter when we can set up a variant with setting Org. assignment- Employees-Attendance/ absences types instead of default variant Org. assignment.

How to change texts in MSS iView 'Attendance Overview'

Does anyone know how to change the texts in the MSS iView 'Attendance Overview', for example? It has the column 'Employees' and we would like to change it to say 'Associates'. Also, it has the text 'Choose Employee List' which has a drop down with 'All Employees' or 'Directly Reporting Employees' which we want to change 'Employees' to 'Associates' as well.

The easiest way to do the search is on the file system. The PAR files get unpacked under:
\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<XX>\j2ee\cluster\server<X>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root
you can also browse this via the portal goto
System Administration --> Support
There you will be able to browse the deployed par files... but the file system is easiest.

Browser window closing without showing MSS report

Under MSS user clicks on a report name in the portal bowser, it opens up a new pop-up window which closes out immedietly with another small pop-up coming up for " closing the session" and closing.
The case is same for all reports except one report(Attendance) in which it shows the report data.
This is an IAC iview that launches the "HRWPC_FC_EXEC" Internet Application Component.
Anybody can help ??

I observed that if the data is not there for that report, system closes the window.

MSS - Error while approving leave request

Hi,
I am facing an issue while approving the attendance request of an employee via MSS. The error message comes for the leave request further in the queue.
Error Message : No read authorization for infotype 2001/5006(Annual Leave) for employee number between 07.06.2010 and 07.06.2010

This is an authorization issue which needs to be adjust in the ERP system. Please ask your basis administrator to help you. The authorization object is: P_ORGIN

MSS iView Errors

Hi all. We're getting a Portal Runtime error in our production environment when trying to view certain MSS iviews, such as Absence Days, Personal Data, Detail View Attendances, Company Properties, Emergency Contact, etc.
The error looks something like,

All MSS iViews, working and not working, are inheriting from the same top level folder. In their permissions is the Everyone group (Administrator=none, End User=checked) and the super_adminstrator_role (Administrator=owner, End User=checked).
Any ideas on what our problem is?

You need to check the permissions of that MSS Iview
Go to the path System Administration>Permisssions,
Go to "pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/srvconfig"
Check whether you have valid permission or not.

ERROR IN ESS AND MSS pages when deleting the superadmin role

hi all
According to my clent requirement i have worked with uwl for leave request.....for that i configured uwl and added uwl iview to the standard user role......after i have assigned standard user role to my manager.
but' after some time they told me that they need attendance overview and Reminder of dates and subordinate information.
After backend configuration i have assigned Mss role to the Manager,
i have made the settings for mss role with overview workset
Again overview contain-workoverview page it contains 1) uwl pabge 2)Attendance Overview   3)reminder of dates
                                        Team- General information and so on
now my manager has following roles 1)ESS   2)MSS 3)Home (from the standard user role)   4) Home( by default i think from MSS role)     5) superadmin role
when ever i am removing the super admin role and standard user role for the manager   i am unable to see the Attendance overview page and Reminder of dates page and i am unable to see the pages in ESS also.
