MSS+ Compensation Information+ Salary Data

Hello Consultants,
I have a serious query and I would be really thankful to you if you can provide me some assistance in resolving the following error.
In MSS under team there is a node of compensation Information. on clicking that we get to see the details of employee with respect to compensation management among these details there is also a graph of salary data .
In my graph the data is not accurate i.e. i am only able to view the Reference salary of employee , reading from Infoype 0008 but I am not able to not view minimum salary and maximum salary of employee .
secondly in Enterprise data it is showing zero = 0.
what can I do to resolve the issue in such a way that minimum salary and maximum salary should also be shown along with enterprise data. I mean which configuration nodes do i have to maintain or table to maintain entry.
Regards

Thanks Siddharth Rajora
Dont you think that this node is for the configuration for Salary development  rather then salary data ?
I have made changes in it with the name BASE and I am seeing the impact in salary development but in salary data nothing is being shown
secondly i am using the wage type by the name of1sal  for annual salary and have made minimum and maximum for it shouldi  maintain the min and maxi for all the  wage types of IT 0008?

  • MSS General Information - Personal Data Iview

    Hi,
On Mss> Team > General Information,  We want to add to Personal Data Iview more fields, for example secondary address, We dont have NWDI, so I'm looking for some table to customize an add the parameters....
    Any help?
    Thanks in advanced!

Unfortunately there is no table for this to customise, You can try peronalisation
Without NWDI this cannot be achieved.

  • Regarding Salary Data

    Hi,
    Under MSS->Employee Info->Compensation Information->Salary Data Iview
Salary Data is not getting displayed though it is there in the backend. Please advise.
    Gaurav

    Hi Gaurav,
Even if the data is exisiting there in the backend, if it is not visible in the portal.
    1. Check if the personal number in ECC has been assigned to the user in the portal.
    2. Check if the payroll has been run(till the date) when you want to view the salary slip.
    Hope this helps.

  • Salary Data iview inside General Information

    Hello Colleagues,
In MSS, we added the "Salary Data" iview to the "General Information" section/workset. However, when we select an employee in the "Search" area, no data is displayed in the "Salary Data".
However, the "Salary Data" works when used inside the "Compensation Information" section/workset.
The Search iview for General Information is com.sap.pct.erp.mss.generalinfo_employeesearch
The Search iview for Compensation Information is com.sap.pct.erp.mss.compensationinfo_employeesearch
My question is: Is there any way of having the "Salary Data" iview working under the "General Information" section (with General Information Search..)?
    Thanks in advance,
    Marco

    Hello Marco,
The iView will not event on selection by just adding the standard delivered view  to the General Information Page. You'll probably have to do the following steps first:-
    1) Add the Salary Data FPM view to the General Information FPM application perspective using Self-Service Administrator
    2) Create a new Salary Data iView by selecting Webdynpro Java Application ->MSS Empl Profile application --> General Information --> Salary data. Add this new iView to your General Information Page
    Hope this helps.

  • Compensation Information - Where is selected pernr stored?

    Hi Experts
In the MSS Compensation Information page, when an employee is selected, where is the pernr of that employee stored?
Is it in the java memory somewhere?
Is there a way to read that pernr using a function module?
I want to add a WD abap iview to the page to need to know how to retrieve the selected pernr?
Is it possible for the pernr to be passed via parameters?
    How else?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
The Market reference salary under Enterprise Data under Compensation Information in MSS has always been shown as 0, even though we have given values for the particular user with the details like MOLGA, SLTYP, SLREG, SLGRP and have updated MKREF and CTAMT under T710a and SLREF field under T710.
Still the null value persists. I want to know where this particular value is picked from. Can anyone please help on this issue?

  • MSS iView Salary Data Not Correct

    Hi all,
In the MSS salary data iView, it's showing the salary which is reading from infotype 8. But for some countries, for example Taiwan and Japan, since the salary number is chopped off with the last two digits. For example, the number in infotype 8 is 1234, it will show up as 12 (rounded from 12.34). Does anyone have a idea why this is happening? did we miss any configuration?

    Hi Bala,
Thanks for your quick help. Yes, we do realize that it's not portal issue. And we know as a fact that the decimal places defined for Taiwan and Japan are always as "0" in TCURX. But we could not change it here because it will affect all program running based on this table. We do believe that anywhere else in ECC, based on the decimal for each country, the program will handle the conversion seperataly, so it will show the correct data on the UI. But looks like either we are missing configuration in MSS side or this is a bug from SAP. If it's a bug, I was hoping there's a note to fix it and someone here has experienced the same problem and knew the note.

  • MSS - Compensation Profile iViews Error Messages (Parameter CREVI not set)

    Hello Folks,
We are currently implementing ECM with MSS and SAP Portal. In the Plan Compensation iView when I click on the Employee Name hyperlink it is launching Employee Compensation Profile page having General Data, Compensation Adjustments, Salary Development, Salary Survey Data, Compensation Guidelines, Compensation Eligibility, LT Incentive iViews.
I am getting below listed messages in these iViews, I am not able to trace where the configuration for these is missing i.e. either in the Resource or Service or in any of the SPRO step. Could you please help me in pointing to the location where I am missing in the config part.
General Data iView - "Internal error; Parameter CREVI is not set, Salary Development: An error occurred while the data was read."
Salary Development, Salary Survey Data, LT Incentive iViews - "No data available"
Compensation Guidelines, Compensation Eligibility iViews - "To display data, first select an employee".
    Thanks much for your help!
    Thanks,

  • Employee Search in MSS Approve Time Sheet Data

Employee Search in MSS Approve Time Sheet Data (Net Weaver Portal 2004s)
In MSS we need upper level managers to be able to approve time for employees who reside in lower level org units and are not the manager’s direct reports.  This is usually the case when the chief the employees do report to directly is absent.
In the MSS Team view the links General Information, Compensation Information and Personnel Development have an Employee Search iView with a dropdown containing options for Direct Reports, Employees from Organizational Structure, Employees from Organizational Units and Employee Search.  We have been told that in previous versions of MSS that functionality existed in the Approve Time Sheet Data iView as well which would appear to solve our problem.
Is this functionality available in Approve Time Sheet Data and if so how is it configured?  Or is there another way (other than manipulating the org structure) for managers to view non-direct reports and approve their time?

    Hi Mani,
It is a good thing you have found this post, as it demonstrates that you put in some effort to search for similar posts to your problem.
However, if the post you found is like 3 years old and there are no replies, chances are the guy did not find a solution or isn't visiting here anymore. So it might be a good idea to raise a new post, to increase you chances of getting some answers.

Here key in the personal number of the employee and check if the Pay roll has been run till the period in which you are trying to check the payroll. It has to be in green color.

  • How to make "Current Review" available in MSS Compensation backend

    Hi
We are implementing the MSS Compensation module.
We are using a custom function module for the employee selection (set up in backend table V_TWPC_NAV). This function is then called from the java side via an RFC call to HRWPC_GET_NAV_OBJECTS which in turn calls our custom function. In our custom function on the backend we need to catch the value the user selected as "Current Review" on the portal screen. Do anyone know how to catch this information? Obviously it is not transferred in any parameter in the RFC function calls.
    Best regards
Arne Thage / NNIT / Denmark

    Hi Mark,
You can't do it through config. It's a portal development exercise. You will need a portal developer with either WebDynpro or Java knowledge.
    Also,
Be wary about putting custom fields on IT0759. When you save entries in the ECM portal it updates IT0759, but before the update it clears out the entire infotype, including anything you have in your custom field. It is best to put that custom field on another infotype.

  • MSS - compensation planning - compensation profile page

    Dear All,
I have a question regarding a simple customization of a Standard SAP content page.
In the Compensation Planning iview, after the search is done a list of employees is displayed. Then single employee name is selected, and new window is launched displaying the compensation profile page:
    pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/line_manager/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.pages/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hcm/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.compensation_profile
I would like to hide some of the iviews that are shown in this page, however since it is Standard SAP content I do not want to modify the provided by SAP page. I plan to make a delta link copy of this page however my problem is that I do not know how to point the link from the result list in the Compensation Planning iView to the customized Compensation Profile page.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Venelin

You are right Veneliin.....to achieve your desired result you have to first copy the standard compensation profile page and paste it as delta link in your own folder.
Now you need to open the MSS role that you are using..(I believe it is your own custom role..)
Navigate to MSS (Role)-> Overview -> Team -> Employee Information..
You will find a page called "Compensation information" in it...
Delete this page and replace it with your own copied (as delta link) page.
Now you can modify your custom compensation information page....
    Any doubts then revert back.
