  • Need documents of Manager-Self-Service (MSS) configuration in R3

    Hello Friend's,
    I need the configuration of MSS in R3 side which Functional guy will do... I find the document for ESS but i couldn't find for MSS ... so please give me guidance for that asap...
    here is the link for ESS configuration in r3 http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/CAESS/ESSIAC.pdf
    Like this pdf file i need for MSS configuration in r3 side...

    Thanks Siddharth for your quick reply, but I still have doubts.
    According to Note 1588625 - Release information for Manager Self-Services Add-On 1.0, the MSS addon will be release for Portal and NWBC , so if you don´t want to use a porta you can use NWBC but,
    How can we call it from a Websphere portal?  Is there any integration option using NWBC and Websphere portal?
    And in Note 1582553 - Release strategy for the ABAP add-on EA-HR_MSS you can see that now, the availability of EA-HR_MSS is only in controlled availability, and until end of 2011 will not be fully released!!
    SAP Release     Add-On Release     Availability
    SAP ECC 6.0 EHP5      EA-HR_MSS 1.0     22.06.2011 CA
    SAP ECC 6.0 EHP5      EA-HR_MSS 1.0     22.12.2011 GA
    GA: general availability
    CA: controlled availability
    PL: pilot version
    So, really you can use MSS integrated in a Websphere portal?
    Thanks in advance and best regards.

  • Open Item Management and Taxation Configuration Material Needed

    For an interview, needed is some help;
    - Open Item Management - Definition and how it is managed.
    - Taxation Configuration - Configuration Documentation
    - FI - HR integration - Documentation.
    Any help would be of great help.
    Points awardable.

    Hi,
    When a GL is created it can be a normal GL account or an open item managed GL Account. In case of an open item managed GL Account the debites and credits are knocked off and the net balance in the account indicates the amount amout due or amount receivable etc.
    Some of the examples of GL Accounts are GR/IR clearing account, Bank clearing account, accrual accounts, Prepaid AAccounts, Loan account etc.
    By default Customer and Vendor Accounts are open item managed accounts.
    In SDN you can search for the documentation of Tax configuration. There are several threads on this topic.
    Thanks

  • Configuration documentation for idoc type PEXR2001 & idoc type FIDCCH01

    Is there any documentation for SAP configuration that needs to be done to get an outgoing PEXR2001 Idoc created?  This is the payment file Idoc.  We are trying to send this IDoc to a 3rd party, and I don't know how to get it created from the payment run.
    Also, the FIDCCH01 is an incoming IDoc that would change discount dates and amounts on posted financial documents (vendor invoices).  Is there any documentation regarding this IDoc and what incoming RFC is used to actually post the changes?

  • IDOC to File Scenario - Configuration steps need to be done in R3 and XI

    Hi Experts,
    I am working with IDoc to File scenario. Can someone please explain, what are the steps or configuration things need to be done in R3 and as well as in XI too.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sree

    Hi Sree,
    I thought i will just share a few basic thoughts that you need to take care while doing an IDOC to File Scenario. Just see if it helps you in anyways.
    While doing an IDOC -> XI -> File scenario, The Points to noted are:
    1. You don’t need a DT, MT or a message interface for the IDOC as it itself acts as the Message Interface.
    2. You import the IDOC and use the same in your mapping.
    3. In this configuration note that you don’t have a sender agreement as you don’t have a sender IDOC adapter.
    If it is that you wanted to send an IDOC from XI (File to IDOC) , then in this case:
    points 1 and 2 will remain, but the 3 will not. You will need a sender agreement for the file and a receiver agreement for the IDOC.
    IDOC -> File scenario ref:
    <a href="/people/prateek.shah/blog/2005/06/08/introduction-to-idoc-xi-file-scenario-and-complete-walk-through-for-starters scenario</a>
    File -> IDOC ref:
    <a href="/people/anish.abraham2/blog/2005/12/22/file-to-multiple-idocs-xslt-mapping to IDOC</a>
    To be able to trigger your IDOC from the SAP ISU system, you will have to set the partner profile in we20. Select your Business System (mostly under Logical system) and then create Outbound entries for whichever IDOC you want to trigger.
    You define your basic type also in your partner profile settings, Please go thru the following links to get a better idea about partner profile:

    I always run a Time Machine backup before updating anything and recommend you run a backup as well. Paid apps should migrate over without any problem. If you have problems with VPP codes not transfering over properly, you can talk to your Apple SE or contact VPP for Education support and they can help you. While I haven't experienced any problems with updating, its never a guarantee that others will have the same experience.
    Good luck!

    Thanks for the reply.
    Although the security of Windows XP SP3 32 bit is compromised by Microsoft no longer supporting XP, if Windows XP was restored as claimed, you should still be able to install/uninstall Premiere Elements versions of it that you did before the Microsoft support removal.
    I think a revisit to the Geeks would be in order. It may be that they could not restore Windows XP because of the Microsoft non support. I would take along the Premiere Elements installation disks so that you do not leave there without actually seeing Premiere Elements (or a non Adobe program) running on your restored Windows XP. What was the other software that you tried to use that did not work?
    Please update us on your progress when you get a chance.

    which all configurations you need to do in R/3 for an Idoc to file scenario?

    Hi ruchitha thakur  ,
    A Summary of the Steps to be carried out to enable a SAP R/3 System send Idocs to SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
    First - Maintain the Sender R/3 System:
    SM59 : Create a RFC destination to XI
    WE21 : Create a TRFC Port ->Specify the RFC Destination Created
    BD54 : Create a Logical System for the Idoc Receiver
    WE20 : Create Partner Profile ->Maintain Outbound and the Inbound Parameters
    Second - Log on to XI System:
    SM59 : RFC Destination for Sender System
    IDX1 : Create the port to get Idoc Metadata from Sender System ( The Port Name must match the port name in the idoc header - Usually in format SAP<System ID>. eg. SAPID1 [Optional Step. Not mandatory]
    IDX2 : Maintain the Idoc Metadata. This is needed only by XI, and not by other SAP systems. IDX2 is needed because XI needs to construct IDoc-XML from the IDoc. No other SAP system needs to do that.
    To Enable Acknowledgement:
    SXMB_ADM ->Integration Engine Configuration ->Specific Configuration ->Add New entry -> Select parameters as:
    Category: RUNTIME
    Parameters: ACK_SYSTEM_FAILURE
    Current Value: 1
    GO TO SLD:
    Create Technical System: Choose WEB AS ABAP if the system is R/3 -> Define SAP SID, Installation Number and Database Host Name a Maintain message Server Details according to Sender System -> Maintain Client Details of Sender System ->Select a Installed Product for Sender System
    Create Business System: Choose WEB AS ABAP if the system is R/3 -> Choose the Technical System and the client Created Before -> Choose the Installed Product -> Set:
    Business System Role: Application System
    Related Integration Server: Integration Server
    Integration Builder
    Integration Directory:
    Add Business System:  Adapter Specific Identifiers -> 'Logical System' identical to the 'Logical System Name' in the SLD Business System
    IDoc Receiver Communication Channel: port the same as XI System IDX1

    Internet.
    Regards
    Rehman
    Internet Application Components (IACs) enable users to access business
    information in mySAP.com components by starting SAP transactions,
    function modules, or reports from a Web browser.
    You can make IACs available to users outside your company using the
    Internet or users within your company through the intranet.
    You can modify and use the IACs supplied by SAP or use them as templates
    for developing your own.
