MSS Time Approvals - Send Email on Rejection

Hello All,
We are on ERP 2005, MSS 1.0.
We are using the standard webdynpro application " Approve Time sheet data"
in MSS ( not using workflow ). In the MSS -> Time approval piece of IMG we can check mark a box that says "send email on rejection". This email however is sent to the employee's R/3 Inbox (not workflow inbox). We would like this email to be sent an external email id - how can this be achieved ?

Only Action items go to the Workflow inbox ie Notifications that reuiqre an Action to be preformed by the User on the Workitem. In this case, I guess it is just an information sent to the User & hence going to the SAP in-box.

How do you know everything is correct? where did you get the instruction? Sometimes the default ports are different on different devices and thus you have to manually change the ports used.

Set a specific time to send email with an attachment ? Possible ?

Is it possible to set a specific time to send an email with an attachment automatically ?
if yes, what is the trick for Mail 4.4.

Open Automator, click on Mail on the left pane and look around. The description of each action is pretty good.
Pretty much your workflow should look like something like this:
*Get specified finder items
*New mail message
*Send outgoing messages

MSS Time Approvals POWL - add fields

Hello,
We are implementing MSS Time Approval POWL on Portal and want to add Employee Subgroup and reduce the Widths of existing fields of the POWL Query 'Working Time Approval'.
The query used is MSS_POWL_CATS_APPROVAL_1 and the Feeder Class is CL_HRMSS_CATS_APPROVAL_POWL.
Any help would be highly Appreciated.

The links you provided above are useful but do not mention the exact place where the fields can be added.
When I digged further into it , I found that there are several Classes and Interfaces being used to build the Columns like
Class     :   CL_XSS_CAT_APPR_RFC_CMD_TOOLS
Class     :   cl_xss_cat_table
Table Type    :    HRXSS_CAT_COLUMN_INFO_T
Interface    :           IF_XSS_CAT_COLUMN_INFO
Class        :          cl_xss_cat_column_info
Class        :             CL_XSS_CAT_TABLE_TS_BASE
Where's the exact location where the code needs to be added ?

Adobe Send emails being rejected by optonline

Optonline.net is considering my adobe send emails as spam and not delivering them. I called optonline but they keep asking me for the email script that gets returned to me when the bounce back occurs. I do not have the bounce back script because Adobe Send does not forward these scripts back to me.

As a workaround, You can send a copy to yourself as well and then copy the link from the email and send that link through another email.
Using that link people would be able to download what you're trying to send.

IPhone 4 can receive emails, CAN'T send email. Rejected by server.

My iphone 4 receives emails fine, but anytime I try to send, it says it's rejected by the server. I've reset the outgoing server settings, turned off/on, etc. Any help?

Defer time of sending email message

1.How do I defer sending an email?
For instance compose at night, order system to send it in the morning?
2. When working with aliases in 'Mail' how to get another 'inbox' which is therefore visible from my iphone. I know you can set up another 'mailbox' which will show new mail, but this is not seen at top level when accessing from the iphone, it is necessary to look at Mail, then the folder structure to see new mail has arrived in the chosen mailbox.

Sending Email by Oracle Alert when no rows returned

Hello All,
I am having one problem.
In the Oracle Alert i wrote one query which is returing 0 rows.
But sometimes it will returns some rows.
And my requirement is that when this query doesn't return any rows , i want to send one email to user that there is no data
and if the data is present then i have to send the data.
But currently there is no data so i made one Oracle Alert and when i am running that Alert then it is showing me a one message and mail doesn't sent
Oracle Alert did not perform the summary action "My Test Alert" because no exceptions were returned for this action set.

Write a second alert that fires near about the same time.
select 'send email'
from dual
where 0 = (select count(1) from your_table)
This alert will send a "no rows found" email.

I have a question which is related to what's been discussed in this thread. Say I want to enhance a datasource (e.g. 0CS_OM_OPA_1) to include data at a finer granularity (e.g. notifications instead of orders). Can this be done by modifying the extract structure and a user exit? Why I'm asking is because records would have to be duplicated. As I'm not an ABAP programmer, I'm interested in knowing whether or not this is possible before I dig any deeper and possibly waist a lot of time for nothing.

MSS - Send email to employee on Rejection

Hello,
We are implementing MSS Time Approval on Portal and want to send an email to the employee if the Timesheet is Rejected by the Manager. I am using the following link to implement the same :
Send email notifications when time sheet is sent for approval by employee or is rejected by approver
but it does not work. Is there some additional setting/configuration required for the same?
Also, if I set an External Breakpoint in the Custom Function Module created in the above link, it does not start the Debugger at runtime.
Any help would be highly Appreciated.

Use The system sends the notification of rejection to the user who created the record. The user receives the notification of rejection in his or her office inbox. Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

I talked with a tech today and he said I cloud is having problems which should be resolved shortly.
In the mean time I used the .me smtp server settings which allowed me to send mail.

Thank you for heading me in the right direction. I reset my Mail account for Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net:(customer ID)@att.net (instead of smtp.att.yahoo.com, per Apple's online troubleshooting information). I'm not sure what "(Offline)" means when it appears at the end of my Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)?? In the Advanced box I clicked on "Use custom port: 465" and checked "Use Secure Sockets Layer." Authentication: Password; I have correct User Name and Password put in. After doing all this, when I try to send emails again today, they go directly to the Outbox and sit there.
What's curious is that my first sent email this morning did go out using the Outgoing Mail Server, smtp.att.yahoo.com: (customer ID)@att.net(Offline) but subsequent emails I tried to send with this server were rejected with the message: "Cannot send message using the server smtp.att.yahoo.com (etc.). The SMTP server doesn't support TLS(SSL) on port 587. Verify your account settings and try again." That's when I tried resetting my Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net (etc.), as mentioned above, and was unsuccessful in sending out any further emails. I guess my next step is to contact my email service provider, AT&T, and see if they can help me. Thanks, again, for taking the time to respond and for giving me your input! Much appreciated!
