MSS - Unable to work teamviewer with generic view table iview
Hi Portal experts !
I work on a portal migration project from EP5 to EP6 and I have a problem to work together a "teamviewer" iview and a "generic view table" iview.
The teamviewer displays all my employees and when I click on a employee, the "generic view table" iview must display me his/her career in the company (the iview execute a SAP query with in input the personal ID of the selected employee).
On EP5, it is working.
But on EP6, it is not working. I have no error message displayed but it throughs me on the first folder of the test portal role I have created.
I have used the same templates from EP5 to create EP6 iviews.
There are few parameters on each iviews, so I don't know where can be the origin of problem :/.

I've found the solution: I have to set the "isolation method" property to "Pumped" for the iView which catches the event launched by the teamviewer.
What is looked strange is that isolation method is deprecated

Unable to CIF Materials with Classification View

We sent materials from R/3 (4.6C) to SCM 4.1.The materials without classifcation view went through successfully. But the materials with classifiation views failed. I have selected the materials,plant,class.characteristics. The organizational indicator is same for material in R/3 and APO. I have seelcted the class type. When I create the integration model an entry in the class is visible.
But the material is not transferred. Did I miss anything ?

Unable to Open Document With Multiple Sheets & Tables
Hi,
Since I've had Numbers for iOS I've been a little disappointed that Apple forgot the complexity of spreadsheets.
The reason I say this is because i've been trauling for my latest problem for quite a while.
At the moment on my MBPro, I have a Numbers document saved in iCloud which works PERFECTLY for me (on the MBP).
It consists of about 5 sheets, each having 2 tables.
Each of those tables has 3 or 4 forumals which relate to relative cells. They're nothing but basic arithmatic cells i.e. think of a journal sheet for a business. Works in the same fashion but tracks my mortgage payments etc...
It opens perfectly on my Mac, but when I fire it up on numbers, I get a crash and a crashlog.
Before I flummux everyone with the crashlog, has anyone experienced this yet? If not and you need the crashlog, I can post it. From what I see, it's a non-specific error which I can't seem to decypher.
Any help would be appreciated!

In Numbers on iOS, the restrictive formula editing is not handling the extra space in some of the formulas. In some of the tables, in column D, the formulas have a space between the function name and the open parenthesis.
E.g. =IF (...
Attaching a file with the extra spaces removed that should open on your iPhone.

Help with discoverer viewer tables

I have a oracle table which has some blank cells which oracle discoverer shows as null, thats fine although i wish it wouldn't show but i can live with that, the problem is can i exclude the null count when calculating percentages ?

You can change how the NULL shows up in your sheets, if you go into Tools, Options, Sheet and at the bottom there is an option Show Null values as.....
Or on an existing report right click on the table and choose Format Table (or Crosstab) and set the NULL value option in there....
Can you give us more info on what you mean by excluding nulls from a count....because if it's what i think it is then you can do a case statement.....

Unable to view external webcam content. I'm using IE11 with Windows 7 64 bit. I've tried deactivating Activex control, tried different browsers etc, tweeked the tools for trusted sites etc, but am totally stuck. I know the cams are working as i can view them on mobile phone via puffin browser. I can play Youtube videos etc just fine. So why not the webcam?

Unable to work with Workflow Variable through SPML launchProcess Request ?

I am trying to work with launch process request, which worked well with no error message when I am just using the workflow call through SPML "launchProcess Request " call. I am unable to open my Photoshop program after installing the entire Creative Suite: Premium Production 6. All other programs work, but with Photoshop it says that it "Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file." Then I select "OK" and the next message comes up "Could not initialize Photoshop because the file is locked, you do not have the necessary permissions, or another program is using the file. My left arrow does not work on my macbook pro(model A1226).
I have reset nvram, performed a safe boot, pulled the cache to desktop, replaced .globalpreference.plist, & tested all other keys with "keyboard viewer" (all other keys work except for the arrow).
In addition, I have gone thru all the recommended checks with universal access and have booted from snow leopard dvd and the left arrow still does not work.
I have tried using the left arrow key in all of applications I use such as: excel, ms word, address book, calendar, iphoto, terminal, & highlighting an icon and using the arrows to move to another selected icon.
Here is the kicker! In addition, I purchased a logitech solar bluetooth keyboard and the arrows work fine with my ipad but do not work when paired with the macbook pro. All other keys work fine on the macbook pro using the bluetooth keyboard.
I believe this says that the problem is not in my macbook pro keyboard. So where can it be?
Can anyone think of any other rabbit holes I can search?

I have set up my airprint wifi printer which works perfectly with the HP eprint app. However, when i view an email and click on the top right arrow button and select "PRINT" on my ipad nothing happens????...
Also, when im viewing websites and i find something i wish to print, same again, if i simply click on the print option at the top right of the screen nothing happens... the only way I can print is if i copy the weblink of the site page then click on my HP eprint app and paste the web link, then select print, it prints off fine.. but its it such a pain to keep copying and pasting links or screen dumping emails just to print...Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. My Classic IPod had been working perfectly with Windows Vista OS and on a dock. I left it unattended for 10 days, recharged it and tried to play music on the dock. All that shows on the screen is the Apple Logo and I am unable to restart or update the IPod. Any ideas???

I tried to create the same MATERIALIZED VIEW but order by another column (Column Date), it worked successfully and the data appeared in the accurate order.
It means that MATERIALIZED VIEW not work successfully with the first column (id).
Can you please help me in this ?

1. As has been pointed out, the ROWNUM has been incorrectly placed. ROWNUM values are assigned as rows are fetched from the source before the ORDER BY. You need to ORDER BY first (in a SubQuery) and then ROWNUM afterwards (outside the SubQuery).
2. I wonder why you want only the last 5000 EMPLOYEE_IDs. What if Employee_ID 1 is still an active employee (he is the founder, first employee and CEO ?). There could be very many "low" EMPLOYEE_IDs that are still active.
3. Logically I would expect some filter other than the ROWNUM ... ORDER BY to be used to select candidate rows. Then, an ORDER BY in the CREATE query would be unnecessary.
4. When querying the Materialized View you must explicitly ORDER BY (irrespective of whether you did or did not do an ORDER BY in the CREATE ...)
5. How do you expect to refresh the MV ? Will it always be a COMPLETE Refresh ? Remember that your "5000 employees" filter would likely exclude older employees at the next refresh. If you use some other filter, it should be consistent across all refreshs.

Working with generics generates a compilation error

i?m trying to work with generics but when i try to compile my work i get a "generics are not supported in -source 1.4" error, i am working with BlueJ, and i have jdk1.5.0_06 installed in my computer, why am i getting this error? is there any parameter I need to change in blueJ, if ti is so, Which one?
thanks again...I actually think that the OP is compiling with Java 5, but he has set source compability to 1.4 on the project (or default settings). The error message "generics are not supported in -source 1.4" indicates the the compiler knows about generics.
@OP. Look for something like source compability. I have never used BlueJ, but I would guess that you can find it under building/compiling, probably in some project settings.

Offline working with Discoverer Viewer 3i
I work with Discoverer 3i and I have a problem.
I can't save my pages (with Discoverer Viewer) in order to see

That's really cool, although it is Discoverer 9.0.4, not 10.1.2.
For anyone who is interested, Oracle made a lot of changes between the 9.0.4 Viewer and the 10.1.2 Viewer, not least being the ability to send a report via email, to save a report, to pivot the data and to handle fine grained printing using PDF. You can also set up a corporate look and feel for 10.1.2 Viewer using the OEM interface.
With regards to the take up of Discoverer Viewer, most companies I work with are using it in a ratio of between 70:30 and 90:10 Viewer versus Plus.
Its a great tool for doing exactly what it says - viewing a report.

If you still have your iMovie 6 project, you can import it using FILE/IMPORT/iMovieHD Project.
If all you have is the finished movie, you can FILE/IMPORT MOVIE.
If your movie is in DV Stream format, it is advisable to convert it to QuickTime MOV container containing DV codec. Otherwise, the import will be chronological by the date and time the clip was shot, rather than in edited order.
