MSSQLSERVER service could not be started in DS

Dear Experts,
After electric outage on last Sat, my DS cannot start due to MSSQLSERVER service in Windows could not be started. I tried to start it manually at SQL Server Configuration Manager and Windows service. Anyway it still cannot started. How to check that my data are not crash.
Please advise,

Hi,
the MS SQL server shipped with the Discovery system is a version limited to 180 days. After that timeframe you will need to have a permanent license if you want to continue using the system. The permanent license can either be purchased directly from a Microsoft reseller or taken from a site license your company might have in place already.
Once you have the license please:
1.     detach the databases,
2.     uninstall the SQL eval version,
3.     reinstall a fully licensed Enterprise addition of SQL and then
4.     re-attach the db's (using the script attach_dbs.bat as per v2 Quick Guide https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b22d4e44-0e01-0010-ffa4-fe9c59939e5e).
This should be all that is needed.
Please make sure to back-up the system before going through all the steps

After I hit OK, it says "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device is not started." Check the following:
- You must to add your hostname in your etc/hosts file of this way
127.0.0.0 hostname.domain hostname
- Check the availability of the port 1158. For this check
telnet hostname 1158
- Check the log files of dbconsole. Normaly exists a log directory in this location
ORACLE_HOME\sysman
- Check that the listener and database is up

Okay ... it's a better bet with a 1067 error message when trying to start the Apple Mobile Device Service, but we'd better check for a LSP issue, as per the following document:

Hallo!I installed Oracle 10g on my Windows XP while connected to my modem that accesses the internet via DHCP.
I installed the Microsoft Loopback Adapter to force my OEM and isqlplus to use the static IP 10.0.0.1.
When I try to launch my OEM via http://joey-xp:1158/em (hostname joey-xp resolves to 10.0.0.1),I am unable to launch OEM.
From the cmd prompt,I type emctl start dbconsole.

does not help.

CWMLS daemon manager service could not be started

Hello,
Our server in which we have installed Ciscoworks LMS was restarted due to power supply problems. After that "CiscoWorks Daemon Manager" service is not getting started. I've tried to stop all the ciscoworks related services and restart it, also tried restarting the server machine. Ciscoworks LMS Version 3.0, installed on windows 2000 SP4. The error message is:
E:>net start crmdmgtd
The CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service is starting.
The CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service could not be started.
The service did not report an error.

I've changed casuser password using resetCasuser.exe file, but there was no change.

Please attach the syslog.log ( If it is huge in size then truncate and send me some of the Lateste logs..)
--Screen shot of the services.msc winodw ( with all the cisco works service)
--Go to start >control Panel >Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > open the Application logs and send me the screen shot of the lastest event ..
In the mean time try this :
go to services.msc > change the startup type of the Daemon Manager to MAUNAL from Automatic and
ReBoot the Server ... Once server is back online > change the startup type back to Automatic and Try to Restart the Daemon Manager .
Note : Please make sure the IIS Admin service is Disable

TREX - http service could not be started

After installing TREX on a windows server in a Portal scenario the
Httpserver/Webserver is not starting up.Could you please help to
analyze

I have just installed OracleXE but the listener wont start. This is the message I get when trying to start the server:
C:\SVV\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN>net start OracleXETNSListener

There is no listener.log in that folder, I assume it is because it is initialized the first time the listener starts. The only file in the directory is sqlnet.log, it contains this information:

The CSadmin service could not be started.

I am Upgrading from 3.3 to 4.2...
When I upgrade from 3.3.4 to 4.1, 4.1 is not working.
No error during the install, but when I try to start csadmin (net start csadmin) I have this error
"The CSadmin service could not be started. error 3523"
I tried exactelly the same upgrade on other machines with the same config and it's working well.
I have tried to clean the registory manually and using the clean tool on the CD, it doesn't help.
The fresh install of 4.2 is not working better, same error.
Any idea about what it could be ?
I am wokring on ACS for windows with Windows Server 2003 SP2.

Have you tried restarting the service from services.msc. Also, try rebooting the server. If that doesn't help, then you need to uninstall theCS software and reinstall it.
If you have already tried clean utility to uninstall the ACS and issue still persist. Please disable all the ACS services via services.msc and then try to uninstall it.
Please let me know if you have any query or concern.

Hi,
today I have installed all Lync update in two servers, and we have the same issue, on Lync edge server 2013 std ed. and Lync FE server 2013 std. All server are Windows Server 2012 std. ed. with all update.
There is a solution? New fix or a UFFICIAL workaround?

Can you please check what is written to the log on EM directory which is probably under Oracle_HOME\servername_sid\sysman\log
directory
You will see the actual error instead of fancy microsoft errors

I am running windows 7 and Outlook 2007, when I start Outlook an error box pops up that MobileMe services could not be started. HELP?

I am running windows 7 and Outlook 2007, after updating to the latest verision of iTunes (ver 11.1.4.62) I get a popup box that reports MobileMe services could nt be started. This happens twice, I click close and Outlook comes up. I did not have this issue before I updated iTunes.

MobileMe was discontinued at the end of June 2012. The control panel should be removed if still present. See HT2992: MobileMe: Uninstalling the MobileMe Control Panel for Windows for details.

i was find the out one of the solution for this issue......
1.we need to do place the ip address of the local system in the host file and then we need to start the service.
or
2.need plug off the internet connection if it is your local system then restart the services.
