  • Driver for my Integrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN

     need drivers for integrated 10/100base-t ethernet lan driver win8 x 64bit i have the
    HP 15-d103tx Notebook PC
      here  http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c04206739&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en...
     please help

    The Integrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN is not the wireless network adapter.
    That is the wireless network adapter and has nothing to do with the wireless.
    If you need a driver for the wireless network adapter, then please do this...
    Go to the device manager and click on the Network Controller needing drivers.
    Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window.
    Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
    Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).
    Post the top string of characters that begin with PCI\VEN.

  • N1996 ms 7680 ver 3 lan driver

    i need a lan driver for the mother board in the title
    n1996 ms 7680 ver 3 lan driver
    thank you in advance

     N1996 is neither a MB name or model number. It is a number issued to MSI for products that meet specifications for and sold in Australia.
     MS-7680 is a basic model number and these are the model names that match that model number.
    H61M-P23 (B3)
    H61MU-E35 (B3)
    H67MA-E35 (B3)
     We need to know which one because the 1st takes Atheros 8131 drivers and the other 2 take Realtek 8111E drivers.

  • Can the Gigabit Ethernet LAN Port be used with a Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adaptor and then to a Thunderbolt Hard Drive as a back up drive?

    Can the Gigabit Ethernet LAN Port be used with a Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adaptor and then to a Thunderbolt Hard Drive as a back up drive?

    If you use ethernet to connect the two AirPort Extremes together, you'll have Gigabit speeds available at all of the ethernet ports on both routers.
    If you connect the second AirPort Extreme using wireless only and configure the Extreme to "extend a wireless network", then the maximum speeds that the second router can attain will be limited to the capability of the wireless connection. So, if you connect at normal "n" wireless speeds of say 130 Mbps, that will be the maximum speed available at the ethernet ports on the second AirPort Extreme.
    I think you can easily see the difference between Gigabit ethernet, which is 1000 Mbps compared to "n" wireless at 130 Mbps. Even if you can manage to connect at 5 GHz speeds for wireless, the max speed will be in the 300 Mbps range, more than 3 times slower than Gigabit ethernet. Normal "n" speeds will be about 7 times slower than ethernet.
    For streaming high definition video and other demanding sources, you'll need as much bandwidth (speed) as you can get. Ethernet is always the best choice if you can possibly use it. And...there's no wireless interference on an ethernet connection.

  • Windows XP LAN driver needed for my Satellite A100-784

    I bought Satellite A100-784 with Windows Vista. I've removed Vista and installed Windows XP (taken from other non-Toshiba notebook)) and then SP2. Now I can't use the internet because there's no LAN driver. The drivers downloaded from this Toshiba site don't work.
    Any solution for me? I expect other problems to appear soon, with the sound and so on. Isn't there any pack of drivers for this model with WinXP?
    (I'd be very happy to get a quick restore disk with Windows XP in English but customer support won't provide any.)

    Hi
    Your A100 unit belongs to the PSAANE series.
    Toshiba European website provides two different XP Intel Lan driver versions:
    1. Intel LAN driver 8.0.43.0
    2. Intel LAN driver 9.2.24
    The first one 8.0.43.0 was designed for LAN Pro100 and the other 9.2.24 for LAN Pro1000
    Additionally I would recommend following the guidelines described in the installation instruction! The drivers must be installed in the right order.
    Please also take a look into another thread about the same theme:

  • Need help installing Intel Lan Driver on a Satellite A100-011

    I have bought Toshiba Satellite A100-011 notebook with Windows Vista. Now I downgraded the os to Windows XP. The problem is how to install Intel Lan Driver. I would really appreciate any help, because there is no .exe file and I have no idea, what to do with those files.

    Hi buddy,
    the files which are in the zip file are really the drivers but you have to install them manually which means you must go to the device manager, search for the LAN device which probably should have a exclamation mark and then right-click on it. After clicking a wizard should appear which leads you trough the installation process. When the wizard asks for drivers (if not already automatically found) then point on the folder where the driver files are located.
    Then everything should be fine. :)
    Greetings

  • Satellite C660-10F - Need Windows XP 32bit LAN driver

    Hi there,
    I want to backup my C660-10F harddisk to a network storage using Ghost 15 Recovery Disk CD. Therefore I have to configure the bootable Recovery Disk CD with the C660-10F LAN driver for XP 32bit to get access to the network when booting from this CD. When I'm using the lan-en-20101105155404.zip file with the XP drivers from the Toshiba download page I get the error message
    Cannot copy a 64-bit hardware device driver to a 32-bit Srd image. One or more binary files listed in ... does not match the target SRD platform
    It seems that the XP drivers contain partly 64-bit files. Same problem when using the original Realtek drivers for PCIe FE Family Controller! Where can I get functioning 32-bit XP drivers for the LAN controller of the C660-10F?
    Thanks,
    Franz

    Hi there,
    both driver same error, no solution at symantec support, but I found a solution by myself:
    The XP nic drivers from toshiba and realtek consists of one netrtle.inf file and 3 files for 32 bit and another 3 files for 64 bit. Either the netrtle.inf file has a problem or symantec ghost 15 uses the 64 bit files instead of the 32 bit ones. So I copied all 3 32 bit files over the 64 bit ones and it's running!!!
    Thank you guys
    Franz

  • Need LAN driver for Satellite Pro A120

    Hay,
    at the begining, my english is not very well, i'm sorry.
    I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A 120 laptop, but i lost the recovery disc so i dont have drivers for internet. When i plug in cable for ADSL nothing is hapening. I was search that on this pages, but did not find. There are two available, and i dont know how to download it.
    When i download it and extract there is no icon for install.

    Hi champion20,
    What is the exact part number of your notebook?
    Usually you can download all drivers on Toshiba website. If you have an European model, check the European website:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads
    The correct LAN driver is depending on the built in hardware. If you dont know how to identify an unknown device, check this very useful article:

  • Satellite A100 Ethernet Controller driver

    I can't find the ethernet controller driver and the PCI device in the list. I tried LAN driver (Intel Pro 10) and (Intel Pro 100) but they have no setup file, only uninstall files. Any idea?

    Do you see INF files? You may need to manually install the driver.
    Go into Device Manager and select the LAN device. Update its driver and point it to the folder where the INF file resides.

  • I think I need help with driver (software) settings for D110a

    I think I need help with driver (software) settings for D110a all-in-one
    Product: D110a all-in-one
    OS: Windows XP Professional
    Error messages: None
    Changes before problem appeared: None--new installation
    The quality of photo images (mostly JPG files) in printouts is awful even though the files display beautifully on the PC screen. I am using
    IrfanView software for displaying/printing. As far as I can tell, IrfanView is not the problem.
    When I print the same images on a Deskjet 5150 attached to a different PC also running XP Pro and IrfanView, the quality of the printouts is at
    least acceptable, Some would probably say good or very good.
    It's dificult to explain in words the problem with the printouts. A picture of really pretty vegetables (squashes, tomatoes, watermelon, etc) comes
    out much too red. Moreover, the red, which appears shaded on the screen, seems to be all one shade in the D110a printouts.
    Something similar happens to a view of a huge tree in full leaf. On screen, there are subtle variations in the "greenness" of the leaves. In the
    printout, all green is the same shade. In the same printout, the trunk of the tree is all a single shade of grey. It isn;t even obvious that the
    trunk is a round, solid object.
    I liken the effect to audio that disappears entirely when you lower the volume and gets clipped into square waves in even moderately loud passages.
    I don't know whether the D110a driver software permits adjusting the parameters that appear to be set incorrectly, and if adjustments are possible,
    how I would identify which parameters to adjust, how I would access them, or how I would adjust them. I'm hoping that someone can help. Thanks.
    I forgot to mention that I have used the diagnostic application and it tells me that there are no problems.

    Hi everyone,
    I noticed the following message when network starts on my gateway
    Warning: This functionality is deprecated.
    Please refer to /etc/rc.conf on how to define a single wired
    connection, or use a utility such as netcfg.
    Then I realized the way network settings should be written in rc.conf has changed. But I can't figure out how this should be done.
    Currently, my set up is the following (old way):
    INTERFACES=(eth0 eth1)
    eth0="dhcp"
    eth1="eth1 192.168.0.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255"
    ROUTES=(!gateway)
    eth0 is on DHCP because the IP is dynamically assigned my ISP.
    eth1 has a fix IP because it's on the LAN side.
    No problem to use DHCP on eth0 with the new settings.
    But for eth1, I don't know what I am supposed to write for gateway.
    Wiki isn't clear on that one either, and it looks like many articles still refer to the old way.
    Any guidance appreciated, thanks.
    brazzmonkey,
    you can't define 2 interfaces the old way (even though I saw some tricky workaround somewhere in the forums).
    Use, f.e., netcfg:
    Comment your old lines.
    In /etc/rc.conf insert:
    NETWORKS=(Eth0-dhcp Eth1-static)
    DAEMONS=(..... !network @net-profiles ....)
    In /etc/network.d create 2 files:
    First one is named  Eth0-dhcp.
    Contents:
    CONNECTION="ethernet"
    DESCRIPTION="Whatever text"
    INTERFACE=eth0
    HOSTNAME="your hostname"
    IP="dhcp"
    DHCP_TIMEOUT=15
    Second one is named Eth1-static.
    Contents:
    CONNECTION='ethernet'
    DESCRIPTION='whatver'
    INTERFACE='eth1'
    HOSTNAME='hname'
    IP='static'
    ADDR='192.168.0.10'
    GATEWAY='192.168.0.1' # your gateway IP
    DNS=('192.168.0.1') # your DNS server
    The names Eth0-dhcp and Eth1-static are not magic. They just must be the same in rc.conf and in /etc/network.d.
    Hope it helps.
    mektub
    PS: netcfg must be installed.
