Mtc Plan Probs

Dear Pm groups
Pls clear the following issues
While creating the mtc plan we are given the start date as past , but the package is mentioned. While schduling thro IP 10 the system issues error as No operations exist for the day.
But in same way if we are given the present period it is accesing. Is any exit is available in back ground?
Is it need to maintain the schduling period if we wants the future status? also after ip 10 is it need to go for ip 30. We are not always working with ip 30 , but orders are generating .

Hi Thenna,
Coming to your first issue......check the date from which the task list is valid........this message normally comes when date of scheduling is in past as compared to date of task list valid........if you want to have a maintenance plan from the back date, the task list assigned to it should also be valid from that date.
I dont think any user exit will help on this......
It is always gud to mention the scheduling period else after completion of Cycle duration, automatically system calculates the next date of call object.....
IP30 is used to generate the call objects within a particular duration of time......if you are not doing IP10, then at the time of running IP30, plz click on check box available on IP30 screen, immediate start for scheduling.........this will serve the purpose.

2. The same mentioned above for MTc plan
3. I would like call the Mtc order on key date
Example Pump has weekly, monthly tasks.
1. Weekly schdules i need for every month 1st, 8th, 15th,22th no need 29th .
2. We can call the monthly ops thro Key date . Here if i have mentioned in stratagy as 28 days instead of 30 days it will call?

i think it is not possible to change the maintenance strategy once assinged to task list,other option just try in the task list select the operation and select the maintenace package ,here delesect all the maintenance package alloted and then try to change it

After Double click on Qty , you have to define the formula there,
correct your Formula which may be wrong leading to Syntax Error.

Mtc Stratagy pacakage

Dear
My requirement is we have the mtc stratagy (time base). This also assigned to various mtc plan & running.
Package 1 -- 7 days-- cycle 1
2 - 14 DaysCycle 2
In these exist package i wants to add new package as per requirements (i.e 1 day cycle i wants to add) this shoudl come above all as first package .
But sap is not allowing to do. If allowing existing schdule will get probs.
My present requirement is i would like to use the same stratagy name.
Is it any solution ?

do one thing just go in to the change mode of IP11 and select the package which u want to modify . and selst all cycle and delet it and den click new entries and enter ur new cycles as per ur requirement .

ALV Report Prob with Sys Status & Totl Planned Costs

Ive dev the report. now ive a few chages on report. I need to add this three frields in my report.
For the getting the system status. For Each works Order find the recors in the table JEST.

International Plan is a Prob

I just talked to someone at the 877 419 4500 number.
They said my particular transfer was hung up becasue I have an international roaming feature on my current plan that is not valid on the iPhone. Unfortunately, they have a different group that must remove the international features and they are currently closed. Becasue they cannot change the plan, they cannot change the equipment.
Hence, I am stuck until the international folks are open again--perhaps tomorrow, or Monday for sure. In the interim, at least, my old phone is working, so that is not too bad.
The other thing I might try is going into the AT&T store tomorrow to see if they can take it off.

I have international roaming and dialing on my AT&T account, and my iPhone was activated in less than 60 seconds. I don't subscribe to any international data though...I'm just billed at the standard $0.019 / kb rate when overseas.

Error while creating Rough cut planning profile

Facing the following error while creating rough cut planning profile (mc35) in SOP for product group. "Work center x plant y does not exist for task list type 3". pls advise- do i need to create tsk list for product group? pls advise with tcode to be used.

pls check the (task list ) usage you have maintained in the Work center.
In OP45 , pls ensure that for the usage ,
task list type 3 (Rough cut planning profile) is included.
If it is not included there , pls include the TL type 3 for your usage and now the prob will get solved.

Urgent help needed in creation of planning application

Hi,
Iam new to planning. I installed planning and configured(Created planning instance, Datasource). When i login into workspace and want to create new planning application. The wizard opens correctly. After giving application name, calender,currency type, Plan type, etc... when i click finish to create a new planning application, it says *"An error occured while processing this page. Check the log for detail".* But i observed one thing the application was created in Essbase without Databases and outline. So can anyone explain me wats the exact prob. where I can see the Log details. Help me.

Hi,
Databases will not be created until you created until you refresh to essbase from within planning, you are not up to that stage yet. Only an essbase application will be created.
What I suggest you do, is delete the essbase application. Then run planning from the start menu and not as a service, this will mean you will get any error messages displayed in the window.
Then try and perform the application creation again and see what errors are produced.

ISE 1.2 - Multiple NICs/Load Balancing for DHCP Probe

Hello guys
Just prepping an ISE 1.2 patch 8 setup in our organization. I am going for the virtual appliances with multiple NICs. It will be a distributed deployment with 4 x PSNs behind a load balancer and there is no requirement for wireless or guest user at the moment. I've got 2 points I will like to get some guidance on:
Our DC has a dedicated mgmt network and I plan to IP the gig0 interface of the PANs, MNTs and PSNs from this subnet. All device admin, clustering, config replication, etc will be over this interface. However, RADIUS/probe/other user traffic to the ISE PSNs will be over the gig1 interface which will be addressed from another L3 network. Is this a supported configuration in ISE?
I intend to use the DHCP probe as part of device profiling and will ideally like to have just an additional ip helper to add to our switch SVI config. Also, it will appear that WLCs can only be configured for 2 DHCP servers for a given network so another consideration for when we bringing our WLAN in scope. We however use ACE load balancers within our DC and from what I have read, they do not support DHCP load balancing. Are there any workarounds to using the DHCP probe with multiple PSNs without having to add each node as an ip helper/DHCP server on the NADs?

For Question #1:
Management is restricted to GigabitEthernet 0 and that cannot be changed so you should be good there
You can configure Radius and Profiling to be enabled on other interfaces
Even though you are not using guest services yet, you can dedicate an interface just for that. As a result, you can separate guest traffic completely from your production network

For Question #2
If you are using a Cisco WLC and running code 7.4 and newer you don't need to mess with the IP helper configurations.
The controller can be configured to act as a collector for client profiling and interact with the DHCP thread along with the RADIUS accounting task that is running on the controller. The controller receives a copy of the DHCP request packet sent from the DHCP thread and parses the DHCP packet for two options:
–Option 12—HostName of the client
–Option 60—The Vendor Class Identifier
After this information is gathered from the DHCP_REQUEST packet, a message is formed by the controller with these option fields and is sent to the RADIUS accounting thread, which is in turn transmitted to the ISE in the form of an interim accounting message.
Both DHCP and HTTP profiling settings are located under the "Advanced" configuration tab in the WLC
On the other hand, you can also use Anycast for profiling. You can check out some of Cisco Live's sessions for more info on that. Here is one that is from a couple of years (There are more recent ones that are available as well):

After MRP planned orders are not getting generated?

HI,
Our bussiness is make to stock and repetetive manufacturing.
We have a prob in running MRP, i enter the demand in MD61 on day basis and after running MRP for some materials all planned orders getting generated wrt to demand but for some materials only some planned orders getting generated means it's not taking full demand ex i have material A and paln is 1000 for 10days i entered demand in MD61 for 10days 100 each and if B material is having same 1000 demand so i enter 100 each then i run MRP and the out put is im getting 10planned orders with 100 each qty for A material where as for material B im not getting full 10 orders only 2 or 3 with 100 each what could be the reason ?

As your saying it is Make to Stock, system will consider Availble stock in Net Req. Calculation
what is startegy mainatined for A & B
if you go with Strategy 11 then system will not consider the stock & Creates the requirements

FB, Opera all work but will NOT d/l - NO DATA PLAN

I got this phone second hand and so far Facebook, Viigo and Opera Mini all connect to the internet - and I don't have a data plan. The prob is that as soon as I try to download something through Opera (such as Google apps), it reverts back to the BB browser and gives this error msg:
"Exceeded maximum redirect attempts to server: http//m.web2go.com/upsell/?msisdn=17132053775&cp=200"
I had to download Opera to the PC first, but many apps don't have that option. Obviously something was done before I got the phone, but since I have some internet access, I'm reluctant to try anything unknowingly.
PLEASE let me know if theres is any other information I can provide that can be helpful, I'm just listing a few things here at random that I assume would be of use.

Planning file entry (URGENT)

Hi All,
As per my understanding, the moment we create a material using MM01, a planning file entry is made for the same by the system. But for a particular plant i find a lot of materials not having planning file entry & hence they are not a part of MRP runs.
May i know what might be the reason that so many materials have not created a planning file entry? Is there anyway that i can know for a given plant which materials have not created a planning file entry?
(Note - These materials were created a long time ago)

Basically, planning file entries are automatically generated for newly created materials with MRP views (with a valid MRP type) or materials to which MRP views are added at a later time. The prerequisite for this is that MRP has been activated for the plants under consideration.
This implies that as long you load your materials after MRP has been activated for your plants, then theoretically you do not have to create the planning file entries manually. The usual practice however is to schedule the MDAB and MDRE jobs as a one-time run after loading your materials. This is done primarily as a safety measure to ensure that materials are not missing planning file entries for any reason.
If you are using the direct input program (RMDATIND) for instance (or a BDC program where you might have missed the relevant setting) to load your materials and you have not flagged the 'update planning file entry' indicator in the input parameters, then you WILL need to run MDAB and MDRE once to create the planning file entries manually and check consistency.
Schedule the planning file entry (MDAB) and MDRE (consistency check) jobs once a month or so essentially as a precautionary measure to ensure that NO materials are missed for any reason to be included in the planning run. It may not be required but then It is always prefer safety rather than finding out when it's too late in the game.

Duplicate SSNs on dependent tab of plans on IT0167

We have an issue on the Dependents tab of our med plans on IT0167, the dependent SSN seems to be repeating. Typically the Spouse and first child listed will be correct, but if there is another child listed after the first child, that child displays with the SSN of the first child but the birth date will be correct. And this continues if there are multiple children listed...birthdates are correct but SSN keeps repeating. I have checked that the records on IT0021 are valid and these children have unique SSNs. To add to this, the other children do not have the benefits indicator selected. I've even referred to the enrollment screen and see that they are selected there.
This issue is not happening for all employees. And I am not seeing anything in common for those it is happening to. Please advise- thanks!

Please open an OSS message for this issue. Also would recommend you to take the two different employee who has the prob and who does nt have prob. And ask your abaper to debug and understand the failure.

How to connect MAPL and PLPO to derive work center for planned order

Hi,
Anybody know how to derive work center using MAPL and PLPO for planned order (PLAF). Is there any connecting table between MAPL and PLPO.

I guess u r trying to view the detail scheduling info (tab in MD13) for a planned order . In that case -
1. Go to PLAF and enter the planned order number. (PLAF-PLNUM) and get the ID of the capacity requirements record (PLAF-BEDID).
2. With this PLAF-BEDID go to KBED. pass the value here. KBED-BEDID. The KBED-ARBID values are your work center ID.
3. To get the work center texts ( the way is appears in the screen) - Pass this value to CRHD . CRHD-OBJTY = 'A' ( i.e Type work center) and CRHD-OBJID = KBED-ARBID.

Here my question is how does the execution happen - What does HASH JOIN SEMI mean here? I was expecting that subquery will get executed several times as there is exists but everywhere the STARTS is just 1. I am not clear on what is HASH JOIN SEMI and also why even though there is EXISTS, still the STARTS are only 1 (I was expecting several of them).

A SEMI JOIN can stop as soon as it finds one matching row.
So for your EXISTS, we don't need to join all the matches between the rowsources, we can stop as soon as we find the first match.
The general approach to reading an execution plan - and which is true nearly all (but not all) of the time - is to find the first operation without a child - this is the starting step.
Preservation of spacing makes reading execution plans much easier.
The first step of your plan is at step 4 - the INDEX RANGE SCAN of ACC_USR_RL_XREF_IDX08 with access predicate:
CLNT_OID = :V_CLNT_OID
The rowids from this index lookup are used to do a table lookup at step 3.
These rows are then hashed into memory for the HASH JOIN SEMI at step 2 where you join with your EXISTS subquery.
The VIEW operation at line 5 indicates that this is a non-mergeable view and it's a HASH JOIN of a full table scan of ACC_RL and an index FFS of ACC_USR_RL_XREF_IDX08.
A HASH JOIN will have starts of 1 because, broadly speaking, you take the driving rowsource and hash on the join colums then you then take the inner rowsource and do the same hash which gives you the matching rows.
A nested loop is more like a for loop - for each row in the driving rowsource, probe the inner rowsource. Therefore for each row returned by the driving rowsource, you get a "start" on the inner rowsource.
