Multi Audio/subtitle on the Video

Dear All,
I've some question as per subject.
Can we have a Video podcast with multi-Audio or multi-subtitle?
If yes, How and please advise.
If No, Any other possible way to do that?
Thank You

iTunes can certainly handle multiple audio language tracks on films, and the same menu controls seem to be available for podcasts: so provided that the file is in an acceptable format and has the tracks and subtitles properly embedded it's possible it may work (it's not something I've ever tried). Video podcasts should be .mp4, .m4v, or .mov - not Flash. I can only suggest experimenting with constructing a suitable file - you would need to insert it into a podcast feed and subscribe manually (from the 'Advanced' menu) to test it (you don't need to actually submit it).
I'm afraid I can't advise on suitable Windows programs to construct this kind of file. This page has some information on subtitles and language tracks together with some screencasts which may be of some help:

There is a little white bar. When you have your TV connected, move the white bar to the other display. Your main desktop is now the TV screen

  • Is there any way to cut audio while keeping the video it is tied to?

ok, I have a video from a dvd i burned on FCE but the sound is messed up. I am going to be making a AMV with it anyway so I don't really need the audio. Is there any way of cutting the audio without disturbing the video it was imported with. I must stress that they were not imported separately.

Place the footage in the timeline. Click the lock key on the vidoe time line. This will place a screen looking thing over the video. Select the audio in the time line and press delete. That will delete the audio but keep the video. Then unclick the lock key and all should be well. Always remeber the "undo" option if you mess up. I use it all the time.

  • How do I seperate the audio track from the video and save it to a CD in Premiere Elements 13?

How do I seperate the audio track from the video and save it to a CD in Premiere Elements 13?

    Binbashi
You can separate the audio track from video and save it to a DVD disc within Premiere Elements but not a CD disc.
To do save to the audio to DVD disc, you do not have to separate linked audio video, just use the export Publish+Share/Computer/Audio and set Presets to the wanted format (AAC, AIFF, MP3, or Windows Waveform (WAV).
You will not see Audio in the choices since it is at the bottom of the list of choices under Publish+Share/Computer/. You will need to use the thin scroll bar to the right of the choices to scroll to it.
If you need information on selective export of Timeline content when dealing with more than just this one file on the Timeline, please let us know. If you are trying to produce a CD for listening in car or CD player elsewhere, please let us know.
Looking forward to learning of your results.
    Thank you.

  • Can I export my Soundtrack Pro audio files, including the video?

I'm new to soundtrack pro 2, could I export my audio files including the video?
I tried, but all i get was audio...
    thanks!

Export -> Master Mix - choose the File Type -> *Using Compressor*, this will give you options for re-encoding or preserving the video file.

  • When i'm watching a show or movie on iTunes, the video will randomly freeze and the audio will continue, the video catches up after awhile, but it does it again. This happens to all my shows, and I downloaded them from iTunes. Why is this happening?

Whenever I try to watch movies on iTunes on my computer, the video will randomly freeze, but the audio will continue. This happens will all of my shows, however this never happens on my iPod or iPad. Whenever I want to watch a new movie I buy or any of my shows this problem keeps happening. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it did not work. Why does this problem keep happening, and how can I fix it? Thank you.

John0618. Did you ever get a response or solution to problem?  I have the same problem (starting about three months ago).

  • When I add media from my dLink surveillance camera, the avi files always land in audio instead of the video area. Why, and how can I get them to land as visual?

I am trying to edit some of the surveillance videos taken from our dLink camera of the dogs playing when we are not home, but when I import the .avi files, it always just goes to the audio portion (of Premiere Elements 11) and nothing shows up as video. What am I doing wrong? Please know, I am completely new at this program, since I bought it for the purpose of playing with my dLink home camera videos and haven't been able to do a single thing with them as of yet due to how they are importing. I did "get media" from my Bloggie camera to see if that worked, and it did come across as a video and not just audio, so I am not sure why the other isn't working.

ATR, just to make sure you understand me, all my video clips in my folders appear as the first frame of the video clip when I view my folders as (small, medium, large)icons instead of lists, when saved as .avi files but when saved as .mp4 files, those icons display as a graphic icon of filmstrip with a musical note on it. I do have various other methods to open with (quick time, windows media, winamp or real player) but prefer real player because I like it's quick and easy trimmer that comes along with it, since so many of my videos are just pet antics where you need to clip off the boring beginning and ends of the video.
I did go on a few of the icons and right clicked, Open With, and tried quick time and also Windows Media and it did nothing as far as how the file was saved for display, and they opened the same no matter which player I used...the actual video opens and plays right at it's first frame... but it's the way it is visually displayed in STORAGE that bugs me because it isn't immediately apparent to me what it is a video of (weddings, outside the house, pet antics)... it makes me have to actually title things and read titles where before I let it just be dates because I had the visual of that first frame as a reference. Obviously, this is a problem for unedited videos only, as anything I actually work with, I do give a title along with the date of the video.
I also just realized this seems to be the way ALL videos that are wrapped in .mp4 are displayed, as my bloggie camera's videos appear the same way. Now I know why! My other videos display as .avi's so I see the frame. Puzzle solved. Guess I'll just have to learn to live with it, as it seems to be how things display with the various formats.
Now I need to watch some tutorials to learn how this Premiere program works! It's all new to me, since this is the first time I've been able load any of my videos onto it. I haven't even been able to figure out how to trim on it yet!

  • Why is the audio asynchronous to the video after I've exported my project in iMovie?

    Hello,
I've started a project in iMovie which lasts 25 minutes and 59 seconds. Everything is allright but when I've exported the whole project for example to iDVD, the audio gets asynchronous to the video.
The videos are mostly recorded with a Flip Ultra HD.
    I use a Macbook PRO 13".

Hi, I'm having the same issue.  There are a number of threads on this topic, but a lot of them were around the 9.0.1 release of iMovie 11.  One suggestion that seemed to help several folks is to detach the audio from the video clip so that iMovie encodes them separately on export.  I understand you can do this in the event/clip editor, not in the project editor, but haven't had a chance to try it myself, planning to try it tonight.
For reference, I'm running a early-2011-model i5 MBP with Lion and the latest iMovie from Mac App Store.  My video has a combination of .m4v, and .mov(AIC) source files and is about an hour long.  The video and audio during the longest segment get out of sync in the export, although it seems to self-correct every once in a while, as if the software realizes it's out of sync and resets.  Everything plays great in iMovie itself, of course.

  • TA44469 i have a video that plays on my iphone, but when downloaded to windows, only the audio plays and the video is black.  help,

i have an iphone 4s.  I can take a video and play it on the 4s just fine, i have always been able to down'load to my pc and view videos with no trouble.  But since mid-october 2012, when i download the video to my pc, and try to play it, same as always,  I am getting only audio and the video part is black.  I can hear everything happening, but no picture.  any thoughts?

Try updating to QuickTime 7.7.3. (That has helped a few people who were getting that when trying to play the videos with version 7.7.2.)

  • Quicktime Movies - The audio plays but the video is completely messed up

    Hi.
I have QuickTime V7.2 and my OS is XP.
All of a sudden QuickTime started playing back QuickTime movies with no video - there is just a lot of flickering green and purple - however the audio is there. Oddly, the files used to play fine. They were made on my PC as QuickTime movie files. The sound is there. (Additionally the files play ok in Realplayer.)
I've searched techy support but can't find an answer. Any ideas what is wrong?
I made the files on movie editing software called ULead, and as I said, they used to play fine.
    Thanks very much.
    Gary

A very similar and, I suspect, related problem. I created .mov files on my Mac, they play fine on the Mac, the audio plays but flickering video on my PC. I suspect it has something to do with the codecs used. Anyone have an idea as to how to make them compatible?

  • Audio ends before the video - PPro CS4

    I am using PPro CS4 on windows 7 Home Premium 64bits (i7 - 6Gb - NVIDIA Quadro FX 580 - SATA hd's ...).
AVCHD Video format were recorded with a Panasonic TM700 (audio is 5.1) and downloaded to the HD using Panasonic HD Writer software.
I am able to play the video along the audio of each clip using the Windows Media Player, for instance.
But when I import the clip to PPro CS4, "most of the time" the audio ends well before the video for each clip. The audio lenght will vary from 1/3rd to 2/3rd of the total lenght of the clip. And sometimes it plays all the way. I just can't figure out what is happening. At first I thought I should give more time for the audio to be processed even after the encoding bar (lower left of the PPro screen) had finished, but it didn't help.
    Anybody?

Thank you Hunt for your fast reply.
Unfortunately I won't be able to answer most of your question due to lack of knowledge.
Files are as they were recorded, AVCH and 5.1 audio downloaded directly from the SD card and camera memory (Panasonic TM700). No convertion made.
    No file size limitation whatsoever.
I do give plenty of time for the files to conform - at first I thought it could be the problem (in my GUI is a yellow bar on lower right)
When I play the files on Media Player, the audio plays without any problem for the whole lenght of the video. So I assume the file is not corrupted.
Any clue about this issue?  Tks again

  • Audio plays but the video does not

I'm using the latest FCP and I've imported .Mov files which I've run through compressor so they all have H.264 at the end, however when I play them, the video stays still; only when I pause it does it jump ahead. The audio runs fine.
Am I supposed to run this through Compressor again (ie. I did it wrong)? Or is it just a settings thing?

I have a Flip and that takes video in .MP4; when I brought that into FCP it had a similar scenario play out so I assumed that I was supposed to have it as .MOV so I went to compressor to do that. I don't use Compressor often (read: ever) and I selected the one thing that said quicktime which also said H.264.
Sorry, Tom, I really don't know the ins and outs of this stuff.

  • How to attach .srt subtitles to the video?

I found an options "subtitles" in videos menu. What's that, how you use it? Is there any way to attach srt files to videos and be able to turn subs on or off?

The program I use for converting videos to my iPod supports subtitle converting from DVD, haven't tried it though, so don't know if it can be chosen or it puts the subtitle and the movie together.

  • Still no Audio after converting the video to MP4?

I have a 60gig IPod Video using windows XP. I have used the Videora Converter to Convert the video to MP4. Then I have imported the video into itunes and then put it on my IPod but there is still no Audio when I try to watch it. There is audio watching it through itunes though. I also tried clicking on "convert selection for ipod" in the advanced menu and it stated that it was already in the correct format. Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Sean

"If this is the case, the original video file may be in a format that contains muxed (multiplexed) audio and video, and cannot be exported with audio."..."If the format is "MPEG1 Muxed" or "MPEG2 Muxed," the audio portion of the file may not be retained with QuickTime Pro or iMovie."
I have read that article and I thought it ment that the sound will work after you convert to the MPEG4 format, which I did.
Are you saying that if it starts out as "Muxed audio" then there is no way to convert it?
If that is the case then in what situation would you need to use the Videora Converter?
    Thanks,
    Sean
