Multi gestures not working on iPad Air ios8 onwards

Multi gestures not working on iPad Air ios8 onwards. Turning gestures off then on works briefly. It's annoying. Is the Air bust? In for rep-air?

MMine has not been working ever since ios8 update. Apple blamed a game I have on the iPad, however this problem occurs on all apps including apple own brand.
ITs it's almost like they don't care

Are you saying that when you receive an email that has a photo attached you cannot see it in the Msil app?
Try quitting the mail app and then reset the iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Finger gesture not working on ipad

Ever since the iOS 8 update and the latest updates there after, figure gestures on my iPad are simply not working. To get then to work you need to drag down from the top of the screen to see notifications and then it works. have spoken to apple and they suggested it was an app but it does it on everything. Come on apple sort this out its very frustrating. Has anyone had this and have a solution ?

Define "finger gestures". The iPad is a touch screen device so that's a pretty broad category. If you are talking about multi tasking gestures, like pinching to the home screen, or using a four finger swipe, I have found it to be flakey since the iOS 8 update as well. If it quits working on me, I go into the Settings>General>Mulitasking Gestures and turn it off, then on again. That's not a fix, but it usually holds for a few weeks before I uave to do it again.

Reset not working on iPad Air. I just bought this iPad Air from an individaual. It was listed as new and came with the box, charger, and guide. The seller said it was jail broken and I told him I did not want it jail broken and he said he would reset

He said he would reset it to factory and I said ok I would purchase it. He supposedly received it as a gift from his business and already had one. Well it all looks in new condition and powers up and down ok, and connected to WIFI when I checked it out at Starbucks. SIRI worked, Safari and the camers worked so I took it. Nothing was on the screen but standard app symbols you see on a new iPad. I compared it to a display at a store.
Well when I got it home I plugged it into my computer and it asked me to trust and I said yes ond on the Air it asked to ok it and I did. Then I tried to go to App store and it came up and asked for the password for a Apple ID. Of course I did not have it. I then tried to do a reset. I went to Settings and did a reset erase everything. It asked me twice if I wanted to reset as it was not recoverable. I said yes. It did not ask for and Apple ID or password. The Air reset started and the Apple logo came up and a bar started to move arcoss under it. It almost became a full bar when the screen went blank and the little small rotating symbol came up. It just kept rotating and never finished. Had to do a hard reset holding the Home and Sleep button for 10 seconds and the the Air came back. Everything is working on the Air except I can not get it to reset and link it up to my computer itunes.
It is on IOS 7.0.4
I hope I am not out my $475. Any help would be appreciated. Any options or suggestions.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.

Smart case not working. Ipad Air 2 8.1.3

I just bought a new smart case for Ipad Air 2. I notice that the case not working (open,close cover nothing happens). General setting doesn't have the turn on/off (or lock/unlock or smt like that) under auto lock settings. Anyone has the solution ?

I will bring my stuffs to the Apple store and tell them to check. However, is there any chance that problem caused by a screen protector ?! I also bought one that made by shatter resistant glass and that's thicker than other. May be that reduce the sensor sensibility?

Notebook G500s - Touchpad multi-gestures not working

Hi,
Ever since installing Windows 8.1 the multi gestures on my touchpad stopped working (i.e. scrolling with two fingers, swiping for the charms to appear etc.). I have the most recent driver from the Lenovo site installed. Whenever I go to Control Panel > Devices > Mouse > Elan Tab; the 'options' button is grayed out. (I used to be able to modify the multi gestures there.) I think this is a driver issue but I can't find a more recent driver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only other thing I can think of is to uninstall the Windows 8.1 driver, reboot the computer and then install the Windows 8 driver. If you get any error messages about using the older driver then try using Compatibility Mode for the installation.

Handsoff not working between Ipad air 2 and Iphone 5.

I have Macbook pro retina 2013 , iphone 5 and Ipad air 2 all running latest OS. The handsoff feature between my Mac and Iphone is working perfectly but for some reason handsoff between my ipad and iphone or Mac not working at all. I have turned on handsoff feature in my ipad and bluetooth is also on. All devices is logged in with the same icloud account. Is anyboady having the same problem, is there any work around with this. Please let me know If anybody knows about it. Thanks.

I store things like PDFs in a DropBox account. They're then accessible from pretty much any device. On my iPad, I use PDF Expert for viewing and editing PDFs.

Keyboard Shortcuts not working on iPad Air / iOS 8.1

My shortcut list is working but after a reboot or a hardware reset it stops to work as due.
I have to edit my list adding and deleting one entry to get it working again.
I am in touch with one technician of Apple Care who will run some tests and will let me know.

Swipe gestures not working on iPad or mouse

The swipe gestures to move between windows, or access launch pad are not working. Cannot do secondary button on mouse. Track pad is also not working completely. Not sure what settings I may have fouled up, or just what happened.
Any suggestions?

I can't send imessages by iPad Air iOS 7.0.4 , I continue to receive the message "not delivered " ( I have enabled messages . )
One year ago , I used to send imessage by iPad 3 normally no problem.

Bt sport not working on iPad Air iOS 8

It installs, I can enter my login details, accept it to use my location but that's it. It then just hangs with the bt background there. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reset the ipad to no avail. I can't watch the live content via safari as it directs me to install the app, which isn't working.
Any ideas on a solution?

IOS8 video messaging not working on iPad Air

Audio works fine, and audio and video both work on my iPhone, but no matter how long I hold the camera button in messages, all I get is the photo library/take photo or video options.

Camera screen gives choice of photo, square or video. When I tap video not coming on...has worked in past.

Sound not working on Ipad after ios8 update

I updated to iOS 8.0.2 and the next day, while watching a TV show on my ipad, the sound completely stopped. I did a hard reset, thinking this would solve it, but it didn't work. Sound is not on mute. I tested out all apps that play sound, nothing was playing through the speakers; however, I can hear sound if I use headphones. I did the ipad reset suggestion I saw in a few articles, but still that hasn't work. Any other workarounds or am I going to have to go into the apple store?

It sounds like you have done all the troubleshooting from the article below. I know it is for iPhone, but the troubleshooting is still the same. After everything that you have done, check with the article to make sure you did not miss anything and if it is still giving you issue, then I would recommend making an appointment with your local Apple Store’s Genius Bar.

ICloud Contact Groups Not Working on iPad

I made a contact list on iCloud.com via my Mac Book (OS X Yosemite). The groups I created there do not work with iPad Air 2 mail. They show up on the iPad, but I cannot send emails to my groups. What do I need to do to make groups work?

Maybe the backup is corrupted.
Turn off iCloud backup and try deleting the iCloud backup for the iPad.
iCloud: Remove an iOS device backup from iCloud - Support - Apple
Then turn it back on and try to backup.
You can also try removing your iCloud account from the device and then re-add it.
Note: This will cause you to lose everything but the last 30 days of photos in your My Photo Stream so take precautions.
