Multi-license packs?

Hello. I'm told the "family pack" isn't for usage in offices, but my office has about a dozen computers which I'd like to upgrade to 10.6. Is there a multi-license pack available for office use? It just seems wasteful to buy 12 DVDs when I really only need one DVD and the right to install it on 12 machines...

    Hi,
Please check if your KMS host key for Office 2013 is valid and you can try to activate the KMS host by telephone.
To get the key for the Microsoft Office 2013 KMS, sign in to Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center.
On this page, don’t choose the Key Management Service Host Key. Choose the Office version you are licensed for instead, and look for the KMS key for that version.

  • IDOC DELVRY05 - What structure for multi-level packing?

    Hi All
    I am creating DELVRY05 idocs via WE19.
I am using handling materials, and packing my materials into handling units, which are in turn packed in a further level of handling unit.  So we have eaches packed in boxes, and boxes packed in a container.
I an set up this scenario directly in VL31N, so I am happy that the data that I want to work with works.
In WE19 I can set up single layer packing, i.e., eaches packed in containers, but I can not get multi level packing to work.
I suspect that my organisation of E1EDL37 and E1EDL44 segments is incorrect.
    My question is this:
What layout should I have for my E1EDL37 and E1EDL44 segments, and what order should they appear in my idoc?
    Thanks in advance.
    James

    James,
Did you have a solution for this? I'm having the same issue. I couldn't able to make it work correctly. Somewhere I'm missing a small part, but couldn't able to figure it out.

    Hi,
I would suggest using the Adobe Support Advisor which will analyze installation log files to detect the cause of the problem and will also try to point you to troubleshooting documents relevant to the error you are facing.
The above link will will also help you with downloading and using the Support Advisor.

  • I've buy a multi license of In Design, can i install it eather in english or spanish?

My concern is if i have an OS in english, i want to know if the multi license is multilangage, because i dont know if it will cause problems is the OS is in one langage and the InDesign in another one.

If you're talking about CC then you can install it in different languages and I don't think you should have any problems with having a Spanish and English on the same system.
You cannot however have 2 different language installations at the same time so if the one doe not work you have to uninstall it and then install the other one.

  • WCS annual support: what do I get for extra AP license packs?

I am not trying to be snide here, but I am having a difficult time understanding what new value I get for an extra SAU annual support package that my Cisco Partner says I now need, since I added additional AP licenses to the WCS software. This add-on SAU will more than double my annual support costs for the WCS software. I've called and emailed my partner several times on this, and basically it came down to "that's how Cisco does it now." I've also done on-line chat and a couple hours of phone  time with Cisco's pre-sales support, and technical support, but neither of them was able to give me any answer, and after passing me back and forth between their two divisions, they passed the buck back to my Cisco partner.
But, my question remains: What additional value do I get for this doubled price "Software Application support with Updates"? I can already download WCS software and WLC firmware. The only thing that has changed is my software's AP limit.
We've had WCS 5.0, with the original Base 50 AP license. The WCS server runs two WLC 4402 units, one set for 25 APs, and one for 50. We actually have 46 APs deployed. We've paid annual support since we first purchased this system, SAU software and upgrade support for the WCS software, and SmartNet hardware support for the WLCs. We have not had support for our actual AP hardware, as our partner recommended just buying spares instead, as a cheaper option. But, AP firmware updates come automagically with the WLC firmware updates.
We will soon be going beyond 50 APs, so we installed an 100 AP add-on license for the WCS. This changed the "About" box for the WCS software so it now says it is licensed for 150 permanent APs, instead of the original 50. (This add-on license cost more than $4,000, so I don't feel that I'm trying to get a bigger WCS system without paying for it.)
Recently I upgraded my WCS software to v5.2 and then to v6, and am currently at 6.0.196.0. I also upgraded my WLC firmware, which updated my APs. Everything seems to be working well, and these updates were all included in my basic SAU for WCS, which runs about $720 per year.
However, March is when our SmartNet renewals come due, and my partner says we now need to buy a second version of WCS SAU, supposedly a requirement with our additional 100 AP license. This add-on support ( part "CON-SAU-WLB100EX" ) goes for $1,080 per year, so my WCS annual support would now be $1,800 instead of $720.
As I said, I really don't understand what I'm getting for this additional money. We are a small enough college that I can't spend $1000 without justifying the expense. Already, with my existing WLC SmartNet payment I get firmware updates for my WLC and AP hardware, and with my existing WCS SAU payment I get software updates on the server. None of this seems to have changed with the additional AP license count.
(Note that although the WCS update package allows 100 more APs, my present WLC hardware really only allows an additional 25 APs.)
If nothing else, for $1,000 a year, Cisco should be able to give me a pithy explanation of what I am buying :-)
    In summary:
What does CON-SAU-WLB100EX actually support? Why do I need it?
What happens if I keep paying my CON-SAU-WCS support and my WLC support, but do not add this new charge? Is my WCS software still upgradeable?
Thanks for any insights you can provide,
    Steve Bohrer

I'm not selling support contracts, I just work in TAC. But here's my 2 cents :
If you have your license for your extra APs (which you said you already bought), your WCS will run just fine.
With regards to software download, either you have download access or you don't. The system can't prevent you to download WCS because it saw you had purchased more AP license than your support contract mentions. So download should still work in the future.
From a TAC perspective, if there is a support contract, we give support. We don't care at all how many APs people have.
So all considered, I have no idea what this extra support contract will bring you :-)
But since the Sales people in your region don't seem to gifted in explaining what they are selling, I would just go without that special contract unless they justify what it exactly adds and what you will lose if you don't take it. Probably if you don't say a word, they won't notice anything and will still support you nonetheless :-)

  • SCCM deployment Win7 with multi language pack & software update languages

In our company we have a running SCCM infrastructure and deploy Windows 7 x64 (en) with all language packs. Now we integrate the software updates management process into SCCM.
My question is: Do we need to download and synchronize the software updates in all available languages or is English enough?
Thank you very much for your support!

    Hi,
We don’t suggest deploying all language packages in one time. You may deploy default language and let users choose which language
package to install in Windows Update to save the network traffic.

  • Multi Language pack Support

    Hi All,
I have an application that displays some information in various languages (according to the language selected), i.e english, french, german etc. Say I select english, the application will display "Hello World" in English language and so on for other languages
To achieve this functionality,I have integrated my application with SIM 7.0. please guide me how SIM will help in displaying the page as per the language selected.
i have copied the jar files of french, german to lib folder of idm. Also i have created the links for these languages at login page of SIM.
Please tell how to do it for my application page through SIM workflow.
    Thanks alot

You can not not install ISE CUE software on UC500, but only UC500 specific CUE software.
And, (I don't know if that is the case), if the language you need is supported on CUE for ISR but not on UC500 CUE, there is no solution, and you can only complain to Cisco for not having delivered the languages they had publicily promised to the public.
Furthemore to that, it apperas there is a bug in 8.6.3 that makes so mailbox caller guide is played with default system language instead of user setting langiage.

  • Multi-user license on creative cloud

    Hello,
We have multi licenses of the creative cloud on the same user name but each time a user signs in, Adobe forces the other active users to be signed off. Is there a work around for this issue? (See the screen shot attached).
    Thanks.

    Thanks Bob,
Yes, I'm sure we have multiple user CC because we have purchased 4 different licenses of CC, but I'm not sure if they have set up our main account properly as multi users. I'll contact Adobe directly.

  • VPN Licensing query

    Hi All,
My company wants to place a Cisco Router on to a new lease line setup. With the requirement of
    1) 3 site-to-site VPN to directors.
    2) 30-40 client vpn from marketing team.
    3) MPLS to other branch office
    4) Also act as firewall.
I've suggested placing a Cisco 2951-HSEC/K9. It says recommended no. of users upto 150 and for 2921 its 100. Some forums suggest VPNs are part of the HSEC incense.
But am still not sure whether do I need to buy additional VPN licenses to cover-up all users or not. If yes, what kind of licenses shall we go for?
We have found FL-SSLVPN25-K9 compatible VPN license pack for Cisco 29XX but can we also use IPSec VPNs as well if we buy this pack. If not is there a pack that give us options to use both technologies. Are these licenses one-off or yearly subscription?
Also can Cisco 2921-HSEC/K9 do the job for us? We are use 1 LAN interface and 1 WAN along with HWIC ADSL for failover.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Kuldeep

    Hello Kuldeep,
Not sure if you found the answer in the meantime. For site to site VPN, you would need the security packets but for SSL VPN, staring from 15.0(1)M, you need a separate license as well. This link will explain it in more details:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/sec_secure_connectivity/configuration/guide/sec_ssl_vpn.html
When it comes to the license, I can only see licenses for 25 and 100 users:

  • WCS to Prime 1.2 licensing

    Hi
I am doing a migration from WCS 7.x to Prime 1.2
There is a WCS 7 to Prime 1.2 migration license pack that we have obtained.
However, as I understand it, we need to install NCS 1.1.1.24 first, import the WCS database and then carry on to do the NCS to Prime upgrade.  So we have the licenses for the final Prime 1.2 deployment.
When we get to NCS 1.1.1.24 we cannot migrate off of the main login page until we apply an appropriate NCS license.  We were told by Cisco Sales that a temporary license can be generated for NCS 1.1.1.24 by sending licensing the license XML file taken from WCS along with the VUDI and our license order info.  We have followed this path successfully once.  We sent the XML file to Cisco along with some other info and they returned a license we could use on NCS.  We then moved to Prime 1.2.  However on this occasion Cisco insist we need an NCS license.
I have moved from NCS 1.x to Prime 1.2 before and all the licenses have been retained.
So are Cisco telling me that to migrate from WCS 7 to Prime 1.2 I should license the NCS server and simply upgrade it to Prime 1.2 with no further licensing needing purchased ?   If so why is there a WCS to Prime 1.2 license pack ?
Or are Cisco saying we need the NCS license AND the Prime 1.2 licenses ?
    Thanks for any input, St.

    Thanks for this too Scott.
I see that you could license NCS 1.1.1.24 then move to Prime 1.2 without applying further licenses.  I have done this in a NCS to Prime upgrade.  Prime maintains the NCS licenses.  However there is a WCS to Prime 1.2 License SKU which we have ordered because we are starting from WCS on this occasion.  The licenses generated from these PAKs do not work on NCS 1.1.1.24
So it would seem that the WCS to Prime migration SKU does not include the necessary license to allow us to pass through NCS 1.1.1.24 during the migration.
I think if we had ordered a WCS to NCS migration SKU we would have got the necessary NCS license.  We could then install that and carry on to Prime 1.2 with no further license requirements.  If that is the case why is there a WCS to Prime 1.2 migration SKU ?
We did resolve this issue before by following the advice of Cisco Sales.  We logged a call with licensing, supplied the exported WCS license XML file and the NCS VUDI and they gave us an NCS license.  However, on this occasion licensing are not so forthcoming.  They suggest we need a NCS 1.x licence.
So either they are implying we need a NCS 1.x AND a Prime 1.2 license.  Or we should have bought a WCS to NCS migration license and the NCS to Prime migration license is useless because it does not allow us to pass through NCS as part of the migration process.
Thanks for any help on this, St.
