Multi-line Address With Blank Line

Using the multiline address and the input conforms to the guidelines.
1.     [Name]  [Department]
2.     Firm   [Department]
3.     [Dual_Address]   [Secondary_Address]
4.     Primary_Address   [Secondary_Address]
5.     CITY    STATE  ZIP  [ZIP+4]  [COUNTRY]
6.     [ZIP]   [ZIP+4]    [COUNTRY]
However, when passing address lines 1-5 to ACE where address line 1 is the name, address line 2 is 'C/O' information, address line 3 is the primary address, suite # is address line 4, and city/state/zip is address line 5, ACE is concatenating the primary address and suite and placing it in the address line 4. Thus, whenever the address prints on the bill I'm getting a blank line printing between my C/O line and my address information. I thought that the multi-line kept the data together as a complete address? Is this not correct? If not how would I then get rid of the blank that is being generated?

Greetings Angela,
I would suggest that you check the settings in the Multiline Style block for Address Standardization style. There are settings available here for combining address data. Verfiy which ones you have enabled. Also in this same block is a setting for Swap Address Line, which controls where blank lines will be moved for output.
If you require more detailed information regarding this, I would recommend that you log an incident via the SAP Service Marketplace (service.sap.com), so that support can provide assistance with researching this issue.
You will need your S-User login information in order to log an incident.
When creating the incident, make sure to enter the component BOJ-EIM-COR so that your question is directed to the correct support team for << product name>>.

  • PI731: FTP-FCC-Receiver with blank line at the beginning

    Hi,
In my example I always get first a blank line but I do not want this blank line.
I need the field FILENAME only as a variable name for the file name schema.
    Mapping:
Communication Channel (Receiver / FTP / File Content Conversion)
    Result (with blank line)
How can I solve my problem? Do I need to adjust the content conversion.
    Thanks
    Rene

    Hi René,
Here is your solution..Variable substitution in case of non-XML target files in a multi-mapping scenario
You just need to follow the adapter configuration.

  • Mail from Exchange 2010 mailbox - BCC to Hotmail addresses with blank To: field not hounoured

    Hi
This feels related to a previous question
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/bec88844-79c1-4d17-bf73-9425842b22de/problem-sending-mail-with-bcc-and-without-to?forum=exchangesvrgenerallegacy but is slightly different - it just applies to Hotmail and related addresses (e.g.
    hotmail.com, hotmail.co.uk, outlook.com, live.co.uk).
Sending from our Exchange 2010 to BCC addresses with blank To: field, the BCC is not being honoured, but just by Hotmail-related addresses. Any Hotmail-related recipient sent to in this fashion sees all their and other Hotmail-related addresses in the To:
field. But any other addresses to other mail hosts (gmail, yahoo etc) in the same BCC list aren't shown, and recipients at the other mail hosts have a fully hidden BCC list (i.e. see no To addresses at all).
If the To: field has an address then there is no problem - all BCC addresses are hidden for all recipients as expected.
It feels like it is the way the header is being handled by the Hotmail MTAs. But I only see this behaviour from our Exchange 2010 servers (including test servers).
Below are message headers from examples - anyone any ideas on this?
    Thanks,
    Gordon
Headers from the same message sent as a BCC to a "@live.co.uk" address and "@gmail.com" address with no To: field, and below that a header of similar with a To: field.

    [email protected]) BCCd to
[email protected] and [email protected] with no To: address.

I'm guessing that they're using something other than Exchange for the MTA's. I don't recall seeing this in the "Received:" headers ever since Exchange stopped using the MS Windows SMTP service:

  • In Adobe Flash CS6, I have a blue box appearing around lines drawn with the line tool (and other tools like brush etc). I can't figure out how to disable.

In Adobe Flash CS6, I have a blue box appearing around lines drawn with the line tool (and other tools like brush etc). Whenever I try to use a tool,  a blue box appears around the line and I have to double click it to manipulate it, which opens just that line in a semi burred screen where all the other objects are semi-grey in the background. I can manipulate this line in this screen but nothing else at that time which I could do about 5 minutes ago. For exampe, I no longer can join up 2 lines drawn by the line tool together. For some reason this started randomly (probably due to a accidental shortcut combination) and I just can't put it back to what it used to be. I have inserted a video hopefully showing what I mean. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you - Just what I needed

  • Urgent - please help with blank lines

    Guys need you help, please.
How do I put blank lines in a repeating frame even if there are records or no(about 20 lines with say 5 columns). I need those lines like our ruled notebooks, for the users to enter something.
    Thanks
    Joe.

These are blank tabular columns(20 rows 5 col). These rows might have names and other details like a master/details relationship. if there are records in details then print all those details and the blank rows to fillup 20 rows. if there are no details then print those 20 blank rows/columns. i tried doing this with one repeating frame and increasing the number of rows value to 20, but then it stops at the point of the detail rows and does not put the blank rows (lines). so had to create 2 repeating frames.

  • Address - endaddress  - Blank line comming in betweeen

I am printing an address in sap script using
ADDRESS DELIVERY  PARAGRAPH DF LINES 14
      ADDRESSNUMBER &Z_ADRNRPO(K)&
      FROMCOUNTRY   &Z_ALAND1&
    ENDADDRESS
I am getting the output something like .
    Firma
    Schneider & Co
    Finanzberatung
    Postfach 12345
    68499 Mannheim
See after ,Postfach 12345', there is a blank space comming.
Is there any way to remove it .
    The address  should print like
    Firma
    Schneider & Co
    Finanzberatung
    Postfach 12345
    68499 Mannheim
That is without a blank line in between.
    Thanks in advance .

Check the paragraph format that is applied on this address and in paragraph format select check boxes called No blank line.
I guess it will solve your issue.

  • Issue with blank lines

    Hi,
We are using SAPScript to print some of the documents for Brazil on line printer. While printing, if we are printing only one document, it is printing correctly. But when we print two documents, the second document is starting at some 4 lines below. I mean at the beginning of the second document there are 4 blank lines are coming. If we print 3 documents, then the there some more blank lines in the third document. Because of this, for the third document there are 8 blank lines are coming.
Can anyone tell how can we fix this?

    Niamesh,
I don't think that would solve the problem. Because we have copied the form and print program from legacy SAP system and there it is working fine. Everything is same in the new system.
    Thanks.

  • Flash line chart with multiple lines

    Here a newbie with apex...
Created a flash line chart with as source the following sql statement:
select null link, year, sum(total_cost) from cost
    group by year
a chart has been created with a single line. i wanted every year on an own line.
The way i could do this is with multiple series like:
select null link, year, sum(total_cost) from cost
    where year =2008
select null link, year, sum(total_cost) from cost
    where year =2009
But this not a good solition, cause now i've to add every year a new serie
hope to get some help from here... txn in advanced.

    tnx for your reply...
I will explain myself more by a picture of the wanted result, see below:

  • XSQL Command-Line, parameters with blanks

Is it possible to use XSQL Command-Line with parameters containing blanks (space characters).
In an URL parameter spaces can be encoded with "+" or "%20", but this does'nt seem to work with XSQL Command-Line parameters.
    -- Peter

I can't make this work on Unix (solaris), but I can see it is a shell script problem, not a XSQL problem.
The normal syntax for Unix shell script would be
    $ script.sh foo="one two"
but the standard Oracle-supplied xsql unix shell script sets environment and passes all command-line parameters to the java program with
    oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLCommandLine $*
    and thereby the quotes disappear.
The problem is not really big, since I could just do
    oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLCommandLine test.xsql "foo=one two"
after setting classpath. Anyway, if anybody knows how to make the xsql script work with quoted parameters, let me know.

  • How do you auto-size row height in a multi-column listbox with multiple lines?

I have a multi-column listbox containing four columns. The fourth column is for notes, which will be of arbitrary length; they can get to be very lengthy. I want the cells in the "notes" column to have a constant width. When the width of the text is wider than the cell, I want the cell to automatically adjust its height and go to the next line so that all of the text is visible. For example,
    |<--CELL WIDTH-->|
This is not the way ...I want the listbox cell to function.
     This is the way I
     want the listbox
     cell to function.

Yeah, I looked at the responses for questions like mine. Most of them adjust the width of the column to fit the text, which is not what I want to do. I figured that I would have to programmatically insert new lines when the text gets too long, I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't an easier solution before I spend the time developing the code to do that since it will take some time. Thanks.

  • Report for Vendor line item with GL line item text

    Hello SDN,
We need to add the GL Line item text to a vendor line item report. I don't think adding a GL field is available option in the FBL1N report. Is there a way to display the Vendor name, Vendor number, Open amount and the GL line item text in a report without ABAP invovlement?
I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.
    Edited by: nsap_fico on Aug 10, 2011 6:29 PM

Some alternative is in KSB1 (Cost center line item report) - you can change the layout and include offsetting account and its text.
But, in vendor line item report, if you want vendor number, vendor number, GL account number (offsetting) account and its text, then you should go with abap development.
Have a look at the following note, if really serves your purpose.
Note 1504612 - Line items: Offsetting account info (BAdI FI_ITEMS_CH_DATA)

  • Line chart with one line per distinct column value

    Hi,
For example I have a task dataobject with three fields
    type
    timeCompleted
    duration
I would like to have a line chart that plots the average duration of tasks over time. With a separate line for each task type. Is this possible? All the examples seem to have one line correspond to one column on the dataobject.
    Jeremy

    Hi Alexandre,
Thanks for the reply. I understand now, I didn't realise you could add the same data object multiple times with different filters. So for each task type I add the task data object to the view with a filter on the task type and this creates a new line in the chart.
I was hoping that when data for a new task type reached the bam then I could make it automatically create a new line in the graph for that type. Oh well, I guess the creation of a new task type will be relativly rare.
