Multi login with same ID & password.

Hi Gurus,
This is my first question for this community,
suppose, user ABC is login with his user name and password(as he is owner), and XYZ is also login with ABC's id & Pw (as he stolen his Password). pl note that, in this condition if XYZ logged in only before ABC, then only ABC can identify the illegal usage of his ID.(with help of POP-UP message)
my question is, how can i trace out the other users who are using our ID & PW,after my login ??

Hi Rahul,
There is a chance in SAP to find out who is using your ID when you already logged in or not.
First thing is You need to contact BASIS team to execute transaction code AL08(show all current active users) and give your id to BASIS team to find on which terminal (or PC) your id is using,So you can immediately contact infrastructure team to identify who is using that terminal.
I think now you will get your password breaker in your company.

I would like to know the exact error message when you sign in, in the meanwhile please try the following steps assuming its Windows, let me know if its a MAC:
1) Go to Start button>> Control panel>> Uninstall a program.
2) Check if you see Browser safeguard there, if yes then uninstall it.
3) Open Internet explorer>> Tools>> Internet options>> Connections>> Lan Settings>> and it should be like this.

MULTIPLE LOGIN WITH SAME USER ID

Hi,
As per my understanding, multiple login to the portal with the same user id and password is allowed.
Now,
1. Is it possible to disbale this in the portal so that user can login to the portal only once?
2. Is it possible to allow specified no of logins with the same user id?

What you're trying to do just doesn't work that well with any web application, let alone NW. There are various problems with trying to restrict the number of sign ons:
If a user signs into the portal and then walks away, they are unable to sign in again from another workstation. What if they want to give a demo to a user elsewhere in the company while they're still signed in at their desk? This is really just a user-issue, but an annoying one that will almost certainly drive certain users nuts.
What if the user's web browser crashes (an unfortunately common occurence). They can't sign in again until their session times out. Either that, or they call the portal admin to clear out their session (how? I don't know). The portal admin probably has better things to do than cleaning up orphan sessions.
If a user can't sign in multiple times, they can always open a related browser session, thereby having multiple entry points into the portal.
So, in short, you really can't enforce a 'sign in once' rule. By association, you therefore can't restrict them to a maximum number of sign-ins either...

with same IDOC type.
IS it possible to transfer without BPM?
I think that the way not using bpm is impossble,
because the file is deleted by sender adapter.
If I'm using BPM, how to design?
I consider 'fork' or 'switch',
but, I guess,
Idoc is will be initialized by other branch at last step.

you can create using BPM .

you need to create source for one interface and trager for two differnent interfaces.
suppose if you are doing message mapping in message tab source is one interface targer is multiple interface..so that source can map multiple interfaces...
create the Interface mapping one source two are target interfaces.
Create the Integration proces...
First step is receive step next use the Transformation Step that means source message it will conver two targets...then use the Fork step Recever Determination step goes to the first Send step..
again drag the another receiver determination and use tge send step..close the FORK step.

Client Security Password manager - Groups / more sites/appl with same userid / password

How do I group entries to getter, so when I change password on one it knows it should update all in same group with the new password ?
I have tried to create a Folder and put the entries into the same Folder but that does not make any difference.

Does anyone has idea why I get error message when I am logging using

But I can login with sqlplus '/ as sysba' to DEV database.

Can't login with name or password External Drive.

This may have been covered, But as I'm pressed for time i did a search but did not come across a fix for this issue.
For months i have used a bootable cloned LaCie external drive using OSX 10.4.8. I began having some problems and traced it to the external drive. I did the permissions fix the utilities repair and disk Warrior. When done i decided to re-boot into that external drive and it loaded very slowly and then presanted me with a login window that has no user name. So i put in the name that always comes up and the password and it denied me access. I tried all I could but no access. I even re-cloned the drive and same thing. The external drive mounts on my desktop and i can see everything and i have access to everything but i cannot gain access from the login point. Any suggestions. I could re-install the OS as the drive is a clone and losing the data would be OK. But if these an easier way i would like to know what it is.

Laurent, I had a similar problem some time ago : I didn't want to avoid multiple access, but only control who was doing what. That's because moving from Client/Server to Web the TERMINAL column in V$SESSION becomes useless.
I tried your solution, but I had to give up with it, because in my Forms9i application some forms call Reports, which generate a new session.
I decided to use DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO, and this is satisfactory for my requirements, but I'm interested to discover other solutions.
P.S. with my solution I'm able to limit accesses, because in the CLIENT_INFO string I put, among other things, the
application user, so I can control if an user is already connected. The problem is that existing applications have to be modified .....:-(

HP computer is unable to login with the correct password

i got a new hp computer the other day & it was working fine until my dad did something & the whole computer turned to french , the icons , the display language, everything & i tried so many ways to change it back but it didnt work.
when i woke up the next day , my computer wouldnt let me log in when it did the other day.
it said something about my password & it displayed it, but ofcource i didnt understand because its in french when i need it to be in english.
i do not know what to do, any help would be appreciated.

[Solved] Can't login with current keyboard layout and `@` in password

Hi, I'm a new arch user. I followed archwiki to install Enlightenment17. All went fine but I have a problem to login since during setup I inserted '@' in root/regular user passwords. During setup I selected the Italian layout and all seems ok, except grafical login through entrance (from aur, but I tested also kdm, with same results): password not recognized. Before asking, is not a CAPS/NUMLOCK issue since the password works using it in console login. I discovered that I can type '@' with the following combination: SHIFT+2; in an italian keybord this should print a double quote (") but in entrance (and kdm) it correponds to '@'. After login this way, the keyboard works normally (for instance using 'su'). So the problem is limited to graphical login (entrance and kdm) during which a different keyboard layout is used.
Did I miss some config file?
For the sake of clarity:
1) /etc/locale.gen has "it_IT.UTF-8 UTF-8" uncommented
2) /etc/locale.conf contains "LANG=it_IT.UTF-8"
3) /etc/vconsole.conf contains "KEYMAP=it"

i need to create a simple jsp client login with username and password. There is also a registration link for those not register yet.
I m using tomcat and MySQL and have already create a client login with username and password page.(record already in database).
I m now have no idea on how to create a registration link, ie update the database. please help..the examples i search through google were build by Jboss, strut, ApacheGeronimo which i m not familiar with.
Is it any "package" or "wizard" available in creating the login and registration page? Most of the webpage has build with user login and registration part, may i know how they "create" them?

Can't login even after resetting password using install disk

I have been unable to login in using the password on this computer. Twice now I have reset the password using the install disk that came with the computer. After resetting. I quit the installer and then reboot using the computer's startup disk. When I try to login with the new password, it won't let me uses the password even though the new hint is correct. How can I solve this?

I think you have two choices...

Or, an Archive & Install, which gives you a new/old OS, but can preserve all your files, pics, music, settings, etc., as long as you have plenty of free disk space...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes. (May or may not work)
