Multi phone syncs

I have two iPhones and 1 new Windows phone 7.
I have mobile me on my iPhone, my daughter doesn't. Wife's phone is new.
I only have one Mac computer in the house, my iMac.
If I create 2 Guest accounts for wife and daughter; can I sync their phones with my mac and keep their stuff completely separate from mine? I am worried about contacts and apps getting mixed since daughter and I have iPhones and I will use Microsofts sync ( mac compatible ) software for her WP7.
I'm not Pro with Mac yet since I just switched to mac only in the last few months. I'd rather sync ALL phones with just my computer for now simply because I am switching the whole house over to mac and the Windows laptops will be going away.
I just don't want my iTunes purchases/songs etc getting mixed with my daughters junk she has on her phone, and I am hopeful the the MS software my let me use address book for wife's contacts.
If I can keep them separate using multiple Guest accounts on the Mac.

OS X is designed to multiple users on the same computer.
You can create an additional computer login account for your wife and daughter giving each separate user account computer admin privileges or without. You can enable Fast User Switching which makes the process of switching to different computer login accounts a fast and easy process. Each computer login account will have its own home folder directory, which means each computer login account's data will be kept completely separate from other computer login accounts. Each login account can access their email account only with the Mail.app, their contacts only with the Address Book, their calendar events only with iCal, their photos only with iPhoto, their own Safari bookmarks, and their iTunes content only with iTunes under their computer login account.
This will keep everything completely separate - documents, photos, iTunes content, contacts, calendar events - everything. Each computer login account can have their own settings, desktop wallpaper, screen saver, etc. Makes it seem to each computer login account that the computer is their computer only. Each computer login account can be password protected, and each has a Shared Folder to share files/data between other computer login accounts.

If you turned off Contacts wouldnt that mean that the Contacts would no longer be backed up to iCloud as well? That would make it a pain when upgrading a phone to not easily pull contacts back down.

I backed up everything to icloud, wiped my phone, synced to that backup, and only some of my photos are there. How do I get those photos back?

I went to apple store and they walked me through this except for the syncing part. I went to sync everything at home and a lot of my photos aren't there. When I scroll all the way down, its just a loading spiral thing.
Also, now I have new stuff, that I don't want to get deleted.
Is there some way to put my icloud pictures on my computer as well?

If the restore process is done, or seems to have stalled, and it didnt' restore your camera roll photos, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. If it's still restoring, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and tap Stop Restoring at the bottom. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts.
Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. You might want to move it closer to your wifi router for the strongest signal possible.

Before I update the OVI (not show what version), my address book can show multi phone number in both Voice Call, Message and Video Call. But right now, it can't show multi-phone number in voice call list (others are still OK). I can only select the one I wish to show via OVT suit now. Why? This is not good, how can I modify all default setting when I travel out?

Looks like your C7 is set to use some number as default dial for voice call. You can change it from your mobile by opening the contact->option->defaults. Under this option, set voice call default to "No Defaults"

Try this way:
set up your iTunes account, disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new Mac and right click on it in the device list and choose backup.iTunes will backup your phone without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.

Did you try reinstalling the app and contacting the developer (there should be a contact link on the app's description page in the store) ? If you don't get a reply from the developer then you could try
'report a problem' link from the purchase history on your computer's iTunes instead of on your iPad : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

In effect this is a DNS block.
You can do it.
You need to be in an Admin Mac User Account that has non blank password.
Go to the Applications/Utilities folder and open Terminal.
You should see your shortname (the one under the Little House icon) followed by the $ symbol
Copy and paste the bold text below into Terminal after the $ symbol.
sudo pico /etc/hosts
This will load the file "hosts" into and editor that works in Terminal.
Use the arrow keys to get to the line with Verisign in it.
Now type the # symbol and it will be added in front of the character that is highlighted.
The # symbol is either Shift +3 or ALT+ 3 depending on your keyboard layout
Now use CTRL and O keys together.
This Saves the changes.
Quit Terminal.

Keeping 2 phones synced together

Hi there,
I have a 3G iPhone that I want to keep as my "backup" phone, just in case something "happens" to my 3GS. Is there an EASY way to keep both phones synced together so that the data on both is exactly the same?
I dont have exchange, so thats a no-go and I dont want to have to constantly be "backing up" and "restoring from backup" to sync call's, SMS's and such.
Any ideas?

Keep making normal backups of your new phone. Don't let pictures accumulate in the camera roll. Download them to your computer and sync the ones you want on your phone to the phone's photo album. Backups don't include the camera roll.
If you ever need to use the old phone, disable automatic syncing using this procedure when connecting the old phone to iTunes: "Prevent automatic syncing one time, without changing settings: Open iTunes. Then, as you connect iPhone to your computer, press and hold Command-Option (on a Mac) or Shift-Control (on a PC) until you see iPhone appear in the sidebar. "
When the phone appears in iTunes, select the summary tab and select "Restore". When iTunes offers to make a backup, select the "Don't Back Up" option. After the Restore is complete, Tunes will present the "Set Up Your iPhone" dialog. Select the "restore from a backup of " option and select the latest backup for your new phone from the list.
Information such as mail settings, text messages, notes, call history, contact favorites, sound settings, widget settings, certain network settings, and other preferences including settings and data from third-party applications purchased from the App Store will be restored from the backup. Your info data (contacts, calendars, Safari bookmarks), music, videos, and applications will be reloaded by iTunes as they were before the restore. However, the applications will not be in the same order.

This procedure will allow you to essentially "clone" your new phone onto the backup one without constantly syncing it. At most, you will lose the info after your last sync/backup of the new phone.

Which mobile phones sync well and easily with a mac, apart from the iphone. I have a old Nokia 6630 that works well with the mac, now I want new phone but it needs to be Mac friendly, ical, address book so which phone do you recomend?
I use a G4 power book with 10.5.8
