Multi-provider can't add one time dimension

I have created one multi-provider, saved. I can't activiate it, so I try to add one time dimension characterstic,. for example :
Calendar Year/Month
I right click the "Time" dimension, only I can change description. the " insert" menuitem is greyed out. so how to add one time characterstic?

The MultiProvider definition contains an InfoObject that has not been assigned to the relevant InfoProviders.
Procedure
Choose Identification and highlight the assignment for InfoObject 0VALUE_LC, or remove the InfoObject from the MultiProvider.
but I can't find "identification" , where is it?

1) You can add many waveforms by combining them into one Array.
2) Use the Waveforms tools, that give you many option for adding waveforms. one after the seconed or adding the Y array of a waveform to other Y array of second wave form, and so on...

Hi, Mike. It depend on the transaction, but a quick and easy way is to develop a function module which will throw a popup screen and call the function in your user exit.

Our company works with high volumes of images and we would like to use Bridge to organize, search, and view these images prior to working on them in Adobe Photoshop/Premiere ETC.. Is there a limit to how many files that Bridge can handle at one time? We have hundreds of thousands of videos and photos.

Many have found that using more then 5000 files per folder can slow down performance but this depends on system resources (fast processor and much RAM). However Video is not always the strongest point of Bridge as it seems due to some other posts.
And since you talk about a company, you have to be aware that Bridge is not designed nor official supported for use over a network. A dedicated DAM like Canto Cumulus or Portfolio Server might be more suitable for this tasks but they also come with a price I'm afraid.

Creation of Multi Provider, using InfoCubes | Error in assigning dimensions

Hi All.
I am tryin to create a multi provider using five Info Cubes, sat A, B, C, D, E. Now all of them have chars and KF's. some of them are common.
I selected the relevant info providers, then in the Identification part, I selected "Select All" for Chars/ Time chars as well as KF's.
now when I am trying to Activate the Multi Provider, it says " No Dimension Assigned to InfoObject x, y, z and so. on ".
its clear that there is problem in assigning dimensions fr chars/kf's.
So in the Edit Multiprovider screen, I click on Dimensions. Then it prompts me to select "One" InfoProvider.( The options being from A, B, C, D, E) and if i select any one, (say A),the chars/KF's present in A, are getting assigned the dimensions, but the chars/kf's from other Info Cubes arent geting the dimension assigned.
what to do now? can any one help me out.please

2. Select the characteristics you need
3. Select the identification criteria
4. Select Dimensions and assign characteristics

Can't add new time in pop up menu template

Hope someone can help as I'm lost on this one. I am trying to use the schedule template in iworks09 but I need to add more time variations in the cell pop up menu. I enter the inspector pane for the particular cell and click into cells inspector which shows the pop up menu option with the various time options. When I click to edit the time or add a new time it won't allow me to save it with either AM or PM. This stops the daily hours formula from calculating the correct time worked. Is this a glitch in the program or am I missing something? I need to add 30 minute increments between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM because according to apple nobody starts or finishes between these times! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a tricky template, believe me. Numbers is interpreting your pop-up entry as a DATE/TIME value, and apparently you have set your System Preferences > International to not use the AM and PM indicators, so Numbers is reformatting your entry.
The next problem that you are going to encounter is that all the other entries in the POP-UP have an un-displayed DATE of many days earlier, back when the template was designed. So, when you do the subtraction to find the elapsed work time, you will get a big surprise if your POP-UP data was entered on different days. If you want to change a few times on the POP-UP menu, you will have to change them all so that they all reflect the same DATE. That's not as bad as it may seem. Make one "IN" POP-UP and one "OUT" POP-UP. Then copy them to the rest of the table.

How can I add recording time to a single recording not a series recording?

If I set-up a series recording it allows me to add minutes to the recording time why can't I add time to a single recording? For example if I want to record a single show tomorrow I find it on the guide and hit record. Now I want to add a few minutes on the end of the show because I know it always runs over it's advertised time why can't I add the time? It doesn't gives to extra options for a single recording. The only time I can add time to a single recording is if the show is currently on then it allows me to add time but, not before the show is on. So what good does that do? Comcast allowed me to set-up extra options to a single recording.

Actually you can. It's a bit clumsy but what you have to do is go to the DVR menu, select scheduled reordings, select the recording you want to extend, scroll through the menu and you will find an option to modify the start / end time.
