Multi value attributes not appearing in the Web UI

Hello,
I've created a multi value attribute in the SAP GUI in CRM 2007 which appears correctly against the product. When I transfer this multi value attribute to the web UI, it doesn't appear at all unless you add values against it in the SAP GUI, in which case it appears, but the set type attributes are not editable.
Any suggestions as to why the attribute is not appearing and what can be done to resolve this?

I fear I did not completely get your point.
One thing I noticed some time ago while playing with the marketing attributes is this:
When you define an attribute that has multiple values, but no fixed values assigned, you are only able to maintain one value for this attribute. Maybe it is this what you are describing?
The WebClient only adds new lines in the table for the attribute, when a server roundtrip is triggered by selecting a value from the DDLB.
I do not know if SAP provided a fix for it in the meantime.

Hi,
Although your question is not clear, I understood that the formula built on that KF is NODIM. Basically it means, units of measurement is not considered when calculating.
Eg: 5 Minutes + 5 Kilograms = 10
You please try to analyze your KF by the above logic. Then you would be able to figure out why the data is not appearing in the report..

Photo album does not appear on the web but does in a published folder

**** everyone,
My problem is the following: I started to create little webpage with iweb. At the moment it just consist of a photo gallery, one blog entry and one video. To test it I published itto a folder on my hardisk and the website worked perfectly. So I uploaded it to my server (I have no .mac account). When opening the site over the internet the start page looks perfect, as well as the video page but on the album page the album doeas not appear!!!
The URL is: www.voyage64.com just click on "Photoalben" (it´s a german page) and there is just nothing, There should be an album which also appears in the page published to a folder on my harddrive.
Another thing that does not work is the blog. When you enter "blog" you will see the list with one entry listed, that works fine on the web but if you click on that entry it tells you that the file was not found on the server but it is there, this also works on the published folder on my hardrive. The confusing thing is: I´ve another website on my server with a blog with more entries that just works fine.
Maybe it´s something with the RSS because I tested other stuff and whenever the RSS logo is visible in the adressfield in the browser something does not work. I actually don´t need any of that RSS stuff but there is no way to disable that.
Maybe it´s a fault with my server but I´m not a specialist in stuff like that.

I followed the topic concerning the Firefox photoalbum problem but I´m using Safari and the albums will not show up on the web !!!! I also exchanged the detailview and headercontrol *js which worked fine for opening the photoalbum on my harddisk with firefox. But when its uploaded to the server it won´t display and that in Safari!!!! On the published folder on my harddisk everything works fine

Image not appearing in the Web Parameter Form

Hello Folks,
I have image in the Parameter form, which is not showing up in the Web Parameter Form. I had set up the "REPORTS_PATH" also and still not appearing.

I ran into this problem as well, and there is a work around if you do not want to apply the patch. Put the image in your <oracle_home>/apache/apache/htdocs directory. Then in your report in the parameter section, create a text box. Put this in the text box:
<img src="http://<your_servername>.<your_domain>:<your_port>/<your_gif>">
Go into the parameters of the text box you just created(hit F4) and choose YES for Contains HTML. Then when you run the paramter form on your web server the image will be displayed.

Condtion value is not appearing in the sales order conditions tabpage

I have Created the sales order and the price is taken from conditions record but the condion value Shown for the condition type is blank .

hi,
if the condition record maintained matches the order based upon the key combination you maintained then it will flow into the order. If not, check the validity of the condition record you maintained at VK13, also make sure its not deleted. If you feel everything is correct with condition record then go to VA02 > item > conditinos > click the analysis button. It will tell why the conditino record was not picked into the order. reasons can be there is a susbsequent pricing condition, requirement not met etc.

SCROLL BAR OF WINDOW DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE WEB

My problem is in one of my form the canvas type is content. It's
size is bigger than that of windows size. When i run the form in
the client/server enviroment, the window scroolbars are
displayed. But when i try to deploy the from on the web , the
window scroll bars are not displayed.
Any solution for this. Please help me out.

This is a VERY OLD known problem with the product. The solution
is to put your content canvas on a stacked canvas and give the
stacked canvas scroll bars. Then disable the windows scroll
bars, otherwise you'll end up with 2 sets in Client/Server
mode...

Report Parametr form not appearing on the WEB

I have a report develped using developer6 which has a parameter form to accept some values from the user befor exicuting the repot. We want to web enable this report. We are using Oracle9iAS web server on Solaris. Everything compiled fine, but when running throug web the parameter form is not apperaing and user is not able to enter the values needed to be used in report query, thus the report is failing. Please help. (same is the case when I tried with Oracle8i on windowsNT as webserver and developer 6i for report server)

we have so many webreprots with Parameter form working and as such there are no issues like this also.
You have to specify the paramater PARAMFORM=HTML in the URL so that it can show the parameter form .
Please specify the URL which you are using.

Value not appearing in the workbook

Hi Friends,
There are some values in the workbook which are prob appear through cell references. In dev sys its fine. We have moved the workbook to Quality, but here the values are not appearing. The value is period value which is not comming from either query columns or rows. I am unable to track down from where this value is appearing in the workbook. This period value appears where this (Layout ->display text elements ->General) appears ofcourse in Dev not Quality. There are many tabs(Queries) in the workbook.
How to know/check from where this value is getting populated.

After adding 'trip type expenses in the layout' in the layout, save the layout as a variant and give it a name.
Next time when you run the report, put that variant and then run

ActiveSync and multi-value attributes

I'm a litte bit lost in trying to create an adapter and associated forms for populating an ldap directory with multi-valued attributes. What is the 'prescribed' process for dealing with attributes that could have 1 or more values?

Did you ever get anything like this.
when I try to deal with this in a user form, it can detect and display the mv attribute, and the User View clearly shows it as an array, but it seems that the system basically does a toString() on it as one I try to save back it collapses the mv attribute into one instance of comma separated values.

That's correct, multi-value attributes do not support this in Endeca.
If you're looking to do it, I would keep writing your updates to the multi-value attribute (to maintain the functionality that depends on this attribute and its multiple values) and also write it to a separate single-value that is constantly being updated, rather than appended to.
Something like:
One attribute called MyValueMulti as a multi-assign.
AND
One attribute called MyValueLatest as a single-assign.

If you are referring to iMessages, they won't show up in the Verizon Messages app since they don't go through Verizon's servers, they go through Apple's.

Excise duties values not appearing in the RG1 register

After updation of RG1 register and extraction of the same on checking the entries in the table J_1IRG1 we are not getting the BED ,Ecess and SECS.In printing of this register the same values are not appearing.
Further this register is around 524 pages.It is showing per transection.How can we redure no of pages.
Please guide in this matter.

Using "Update All Mapped Fields" with multi-value attributes

Is it possible to update a value in a multi-value attribute through the import manager? It appears that if a source value is different then it just gets added as another value to the record.
For example, a product has an attribute of speed which is measured in revolutions/minute. Some products can be rated at two speeds (i.e. 1800/3600).
I created a numeric attribute for speed and enable only nominal rating and selected multi-valued.
In import manager, I set "/" as multi delimiter for source field. This created two entries in destination attribute, 1800 and 3600.
However, if on subsequent imports the speed values changes for this record (i.e. 1200 and 1800) then I will now have 1200, 1800, and 3600 as values for this record.
Would the proper solution be to create two individual numeric attributes that are single valued (i.e. Speed1 and Speed2)?

Hi Aaron,
in your example it would make sense to use two different attributes called "Speed1" and "Speed2". Using the multi value option, MDM allows you to store a list of values into a single field. This list is more or less unlimited, you can add as many values as you like. A change of an existing value is not possible. The reason is that Import Manager does not know, which value you've changed! So it simply adds the "new" record (which is the 1200 in your example) to your value list. This is the intended behaviour of the "update all mapped fields option". If you really want to replace the values, you can check if the "Replace" option is useable for you. But note, that the replace will replace the complete existing record with the incoming new one. This means if the product you want to import with the replace option is smaller than the existing one (maybe it does not contain values for all segments), you'll loose data in MDM.

How to query involving Multi-Value Attributes objects

     I have one question regarding coherence. We are looking for best and the fastest way to query multi-value attribute of objects. In Coherence User guide there is example, that shows, how can this be made with java.lang.String object:

     searchTerms.add("clustering");
     searchTerms.add("books");
     // The cache contains instances of a class "Document" which has a method
     // "getWords" which returns a Collection<String> containing the set of

     But I would like to know, how can this be made with some other object type. For example I could have object MyCoherenceObject with attribute HashSet<Identifier> idHashSet that would represent Person object that has composite key comprised of name and lastname. Identifier object would contain two attributes of type String: name & value.
     So basically I could have two identifiers in list:

     Domain description:
     I will have different objects of same type in coherence cache with different multi-value attribute list length. For example some objects will have only one identifier object in list (e.g. Phone "phoneNumber") some two (e.g. Person "name", "lastname") and other objects will have maybe three identifier objects (e.g. City "country", "area", "state").
     If there is faster way to do this in Coherence (I saw examples with getters that contain attributes for example), please give me some directions.

When filtering based on the getIdentifiers, you should add Identifier instances into the searchTerms collection, and it will satisfy all your expectations. If you add simple Strings into that searchTerms collection, then none of your queries will return anything, because the String will never equal() the Identifier instances.
     You can also add an index on the getIdentifiers() method. However, the Identifier class should properly implement the equals() and hashCode() methods, and in order to be able to use an ordered index (you don't need that for the current requirements you listed), it should also implement Comparable.
