Multi WAN connection Session with Online Banking loses the connection

Hello,
I configured a new RV016 with ADSL ports and tested basicly the function. Everything seems to be working until one person discribed me an error while he tries to establish an online banking connection. After he enters the credentials and klick to OK, the step verifying should follow, an error message appears:
In german:
Ihre InternetBanking-Sitzung wurde aus Sicherheitsgründen beendet.
Folgende Gründe können vorliegen:
Sie haben zu lange keine Eingaben vorgenommen.
Ihre Internet-Verbindung wurde vorzeitig beendet. Dies kann durch zu niedrig eingestellte Zeitlimite
bei DSL-Routern oder Internet-Verbindungs-Tools auftreten.
In English
Your Internatbanking is due to security reason terminated.
You have not done any enties for a long time
Your Internet connection was terminated prematurely. This can happen if idle time configuration on the DSL router is set to low.
A friend of me who is Firewall specialist told me that the router with multi WAN Ports and configured with load balancing automatically has these kind of problems as the packages will forwarded through multiple WAN ports and the online banking understands it as disruption of the connection.
I set the keep connection to 5 sec and to the WAN Ports to intelegence balancer or IP groups (but not configured) , nothing solved the problem.
Can anybody give me some advises or help me to solve this problem?
many thanks and best regards
Nevzat

Sorry, but I have the exact same problem.  It is not a problem with Battlefield's servers as it is actually affecting all online games...and it is not affecting 15-20 neighbors who are FIOS customers.  When a neighbor hosts a game online, only my connection fails.  When I host a game, it fails for everyone.  When I am not in the party, nobody has a problem
I have FIOS connected to the router via coaxial cable.  I've had FIOS for 6 years without a single problem.  Then 1 month ago my kids reported that when playing Xbox Live they are "lagging out" and having to turn the xbox on/off.  The Xbox is connected via CAT5.  Also, when a laptop, iphone or ipad are connected via wifi, the connection is lost and a reboot of the device is required.  I did factory resets and every other suggested step to no avail.  Through it all, my desktop that is connected to the router via CAT5 experienced no problems.
I contacted VZ several times and they sent a new router.  Things looked better for 1 day, now it's actually worse.  The problems now affect the desktop's connection.  Sporadically, all internet connectivity is lost.  I then have to reboot the router.  However, after rebooting the router, any device trying to connect to the internet, via CAT5 or wifi, gets an "invalid IP address" type of error message.  I have screenshots at home which I'll add later.
Extremely frustrating, esp when contacting customer service as they go through the same script - reboot router, send a signal.  Factory reset modem, send a signal.  After that, they have no suggestions and simply try to get you off the line

  • Issues with online banking

I am having issues with online banking with PNC and Safari 6.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes.  I connected yesterday with no problem.  The problem I'm having is my checking not displaying the detail, it just says "Loading" but nothing happens.  I called PNC support, and they said that some customers were having this issue using Safari 6, but they had not found a solution.  I asked why it worked fine yesterday and all previous days, and he did not have an answer.  I have a windows PC also, and it works on it using Firefox.

P.S. Firefox 17.0.1 is supposed to be released Friday ([https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Planning/2012-11-28#Current_Releases ref.]) so you should start checking for updates tomorrow by going to the Firefox Help menu and clicking on "About Firefox". Is it possible to set up a jam session with a friend over the internet in Garageband on iPad?
Or is there any other way to set up a communication session where we can do a musical jam session via the internet?

Garageband has no network collaboration functions that I know of. Whether there's some other software that will do that I don't know; perhaps someone else here will have a suggestion.

  • How can I get rid of an important improvement idea concerned with online banking - preferably eMail address?

    So here comes the idea:
When in online-banking (quite commonly!) the page/portal of the Bank has to be abandoned f.i. to look up something else, or this happens acccidentally, the connection is forced to break with a timeout. No good for the system, worse for the user as all entries are lost and have to be done again. And to get into the portal again may take some time until on server-side the user-gate is closed, and next time the entry is usually hampered with stupid and tedious explanations.
Solution: An extra list in 'Extras' to hold all URLs where 'warnings' are wanted.
'Warnings': When a portal or page (URL) listed here is commanded to be closed or this happens unwanted, a prompt for y/n with "do you really want to close?"
Preferable structure of the list: Optional in addition to the URL i.e. in quotes or other appropriate delimiters the text of a deliberately chosen message to replace the standard warning.
PS: could be useful for many other applications also!

  • Since yesterday, clicking to read my email gets a blank window, not the email. Same w/ windows where data should be entered (like with online banking). Help!

Since yesterday, when I click to read my email I get a blank window instead of the usual window with the email itself. The same is happening with windows where data should be entered, like those virtual keyboards for online banking login, or windows where you can add records (like daily electricity and gas consumption). In all these situations, a window should pop-up and pop-up it does - but always blank.
I already unistalled/reinstalled Firefox and reset it "to its default state".
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
Further information can be found in the [[Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox]] article.

  • Since installing Firefox 4 I can't see the encryption symbol (e.g. for online banking)on the lower right corner

Some sites are providing encryption certificates , so like ebay, and of course all internet banking sites. Previous versions of Firefox had been shown a symbol in the lower right corner (lock) with more details about the certificate. Is it still availabble, and how?
    Thanks for help and
    best regards
    Georg

In Firefox 4 you no longer have the Status bar that showed the padlock in previous Firefox versions.<br />
You can click the [[Site Identity Button]] on the left end of the location bar to see the padlock.
A click on the "More Information" button will show details about the connection.
The background color of the "Site Identity Button" on the left end of the location bar will change color (blue or green) and show the domain in case of a secure https connection.
    * Hover the Site Identity Button then to see "Verified by xxxx"
    * Click the [[Site Identity Button]] on the left end of the location bar to see the padlock
    * Click the "More Information" button in that pop-up to see additional information about the connection.
You can also look at this extension:

  • Firefox crashes when hitting certain links from my online banking page. the signature ID for my crash report is:memcpy | netssort.dll@0x2aef

Firefox is running fine on most all pages. But when I am logged into my online banking page and try to go to certain links, firefox will crash. I have run a scan with antivir virus protection and made sure I have the most recent firefox browser. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for clearing that up. I have another idea. There is a feature called accelerated scrolling in Firefox, however there are also modules that might be associated with malware. Options > Advanced > General > Smooth scrolling (uncheck this to test)
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
    * [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx Microsoft Safety Scanner]
    * [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware]

    * [http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro/ Hitman Pro]
    * [http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ ESET Online Scanner]
[http://windows.microsoft.com/MSE Microsoft Security Essentials] is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus [http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/windows8.aspx#antivirus built-in] already.

  • Is it ok to conduct online banking without the firewall on?

Is it ok to conduct online baning without the Mac Pro firewall being turned on?  Is it safe?

You could but it is always a good idea to leave the Firewall Activated all the time.  Remember your Bank will have a secure connection and there software is secure.  I don't think you will have any issues if you are doing it from home.  Always be careful when doing a banking function from a connection or Network from a Coffee Shop or McDonalds or a HotSpot.
I think you are good, I would activate your Firewall.
    Cheers

  • My iMac was running BitDefendwr scan and I tried logging into my online banking at the same time...it froze I had to do a hard restart now it is so slow it is useless. I have Safari5 an latest Snow Leopard. Anybody have any ideas?

My IMac is so slow after having to do a hard restart. I have BitDefender 2011 for Mac and it was running a scan when I tried logging into my online banking. At the same time, I accidentally hit "update" on the Bitdefender icon to update the latest virus and malware definitions. Now my iMac is slow and useless. I have iOS5 and the latest Snow Leopard. Help please!

Before we get too far, please clarify this part:
    I have a 2009 iMac 4,1
A 2009 iMac cannot be an iMac 4,1; they are 9,1 and higher. Did you mean to type "2006?" That would be an iMac 4,1. We need to pin down the model issue before proceeding.
It could be the drive, not the disk, that is dirty. Try a drive cleaning disk, usually about US$5-15 at home entertainment, electronics stores and office superstores

  • Issue with online order for the special offer "photography" (ie lighroom +  photoshop) at 9.99 eur/mth.

I registered yesterday online for the special offer "photography" (ie lighroom +  photoshop) at 9.99 eur/mth. And I received an email today saying that my order #AD005339091BE had been cancelled and that if I want to make a new order, I have to call a number 0805 770077....  but it's onyl open from 5 am to 5pm!
And I don't want to loose time again doing an online order if the system does not work....
I want to make sure that If I place the order after the end of the trial period, the amount won't be higher than the actual offer (9.99).
    What's the issue & solution?
    Txs
    Chris.

i don't know how long that offer will last but it's been available for months.
in any case, you can use most (including lr and ps) for 30 days free.  so you don't need to waste time waiting for 5am in your locale.

  • Whether two session with for update at the same time will wait for another?

    Will this scenario happen?
One session executes: select ... for update/select ... for update nowait
The other session also executes: select ... for update/select ... for update nowait
Two sessions happens at the same time unluckily. Whether they will all stand by because of "for update" or quit immediately because of "nowait"?
    Thx a lot.

    This situation is called 'a deadlock'. Oracle will automaticaly detect a deadlock. One of the statements will fail with ORA-00060 deadlock detected;
    No, it's not.
A deadlock is when sesson-A has a lock on something that session-B needs in order to continue, and at the same time, session-B has a lock on something that Session-A needs in order to continue. They BOTH have something the other needs.
In the OP's case, at least as he described it, it is simple serialization. The one with the lower scn will go, then the next.
    PS.
Why don't you try? You can setup a small table with some records, open 2 sessions to the same database and for example issue UPDATE statements:
    session 1: update where id=1
    session 2: update where id=2
session 1: update where id=2 - this will hang waiting for session 2 to commit and free lock
    session 2: update where id=1 - ORA-00060
You may also read about deadlocks in chapter on "Data Concurency and Consistency" of "Oracle Concepts'.

  • RV82 Dual WAN and online banking. Packets from two IP's

    Hi all
I have a RV082 set up with two different ISP's (load balancing). A while ago the users started to get problems with online banking. It looks like the bank system set up more than one "channel" to/from the end user, and that the bank systems will not accept that packets are coming from 2 different public IP's. I have solved this by binding all HTTPS traffic to WAN1.
Is this a good solution or is there a better way to deal with this? I'm afraid this will "unbalance" my network as many services like Netflix and Youtube is HTTPS.
Are there any other online services that may have problems with a load balancing setup?
If WAN1 goes down. Will WAN2 start to transport HTTPS even though HTTPS is bound to WAN1?
I also have a similar issue with alert mail from the router (goes to wrong ISP every second time), but this seems to be fixed in the last firmware:
"Email account authentication is configurable for email alert."
    Thanks in advance
    Jone

    Hello Jone,
Your solution is correct.  Certain types of secure connection like HTTPS or SSH will not work if you keep switching the source IP, because it breaks the three-way handshake.  To prevent that you setup protocol binding as you have.  You can do the same thing for any other traffic that always needs to go out a certain WAN port.
If the WAN connection you have selected to protocol bind traffic to goes down, it will failover to the other WAN until the connection recovers.
I haven't seen too many online services that have issues with load balancing, it is mostly with secure connections, namely HTTPS.  I did try to get Netflix into HTTPS mode, but I could never get an encrypted connection, but your best bet is to monitor and observe the network to see how it affects you.
I want to say the line you are quoting has to do with configuring authentication to an SMTP server to send e-mail alerts, rather then selecting a WAN port to use, however if you protocol bind SMTP to the WAN you would like it to use that should no longer be an issue.
    Hope that helps,
