and "on play" it switch to MC1/2/3
but on pause switch only video track. And now i have video MC2 and audio MC3 for example. When use CTRL for new edit MC for video and audio are same. And all ok when switch with RMB. This bug only on MC Monitor mouse clicking.
my englih bad and i make video

ok in laymens terms I create a multicam sequence using four video tracks and four audio tracks. Normally the start of the sequence would have all the video audio tracks in, however I have started by editing single clips in time line 1. After a min or so I then import all the multicam footage to time lines 2,3,4. So the the actual sequence starts with clips on a single timeline as oppossed to all 4 video and sound tracks filled.
I multicam edit them in a new sequence and on final go to export but it fails. and it fails giving an "unknown error" message because the start of the multicam only has clips on one timeline.
However if I go to the synced sequence (original sequence) copy all the single edits at the beginning, then go to the multicammed sequence and paste these clip straight over the same clips in the multicamed sequence it then exports ok with no errors. I have to do this with every multicam edit I do which is a pain.
now the text above say if I repeat the same process in CS5 not CS5.5 there is no unknown error message and no need to fiddle about copying and pasting so why so in CS5.5?
I know your gonna say simple just do your multicam in CS5 but my main bought plugins and effects are for CS5.5 including native Canon MXF support and AVCHD support so I need the CS5.5 really. its bugged and needs fixing.
Better?

  • Bug - Double click to add audio tracks

Double clicking to add another audio track here results in a track that you can't record to.

This entry on Patrick Wolf's blog tells you the code you need. Very simple to implement:

  • Metronome click recorded onto audio track , can not separate during playbac

I set the metronome for "click during recording only" and for some reason the metronome clicks on this audio track during playback as well. I am recording an audio track from a Kurzweil 2500sx keyboard.
    Please comment ?
    David

Well just hit "c" to turn it off or look for the Metronome symbol in your transport window and turn it off there.
Maybe the Click was recorded onto the Kurzweill track when you recorded it into Logic?

  • How do I adjust the system sounds(keyboard and mouse click) in the audio for a software simulation?

Mouse clicks and keyboard strokes very loud in software simulation, but voice is low. I am using Captivate 7

Indeed, I would increase the volume of the voice-over. There is a keystroke sound effect within the C:/Program Files/Adobe/Captivate 7/Gallery/Sound Effects folder, but I'm not sure if that one is directly related to the sound effect used by default.

  • Captivate 8 - Mouse Click/Audio Narration Issue

I receorded my software simulation, then added recorded narration to each slide afterward. When I go to preview my course, each time the mouse click happens, the audio narration volume is decreased slighly before, during, and slightly after the mouse click. I wish I could say it was by a neglible amount, but on certain slides it nearly "covers" my narration completely. I can't seem to find anything in the Adobe Captivate forums about this specifically, which is surprising! So that leads me to believe there is a setting somewhere. Has anyone else encountered this?

    Hi there
The fact you don't see references to this in the forums is indicative of the fact that (at least for me) this is the first such report I've seen of this specific behavior. It could be that it's a bug. Following that, I'd strongly urge you to file a bug report on it using the link below:
    http://www.adobe.com/go/wish
The behavior you are describing is consistent with what I might expect of the Background Audio and Slide narration.
If you aren't using Background Audio, perhaps try clicking Audio > Import to > Background so you get the dialog. Then configure the dialog so you clear the option for reducing the volume.
Once you have done this and clicked Save, click Audio > Remove > Background and see if that fixes anything. If not...
Try clearing the preferences and publish again,
My crystal ball is on the fritz and my psychic skills are nearly non-existent, so I can't tell whether you are using the Mac or the PC version. But if it's the PC version, here is how you clear the preferences.
    Close Captivate
Right-click the Shortcut icon and choose Properties
From the Shortcut tab, click the Open File Location button
Windows Explorer should open - From there, locate the Utils folder
    Double-click the CleanPreferencesWin.bat file
    Restart Captivate and test
    Cheers... Rick

  • Multiple audio tracks in Multicam

Haven't tried this yet, so I thought Id ask before I dive in and find that it didn't work as expected.
I'll have three cameras going, plus a Zoom Hi audio recorer.  There'll be a Lavalier mic on me and one another person, one of which is plugged to a camera, the other to the Zoom. For the other two cameras, one will have a shotgun and the other will use its internal mic solely for synch purposes.
Can I expect issues in multicam while trying to cut between the audio tracks from each of these three devices?  Is there some setup I need to do to ensure it works smoothly?
I could probably plug away at this and figure it out, but I have lots to do in the next little while, so your help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

If you only use the audio on the cameras for sync-ref, then no problem at all!
You simply set the active audio to the Zoom Hi tracks, and switch video..
If you need to use audio from the cameras as well, it get's mor complicated..

  • How to add keyframes to audio track using mouse?

I saw in a tutorial that you can click on an audio track and add keyframes (small dots) and then use them to adjust sections of the audio track. When I click nothing happens. Is there a modifire key I need to use in combination?
    Thanks

    The Option key.

  • Click to audio track!`

I want to record the click to an audio track so as to pan it to one side for my drummer to track to. Possible?

    Hi,
the click is called the "Klopfgeist" software instrument, which you can also use as a standalone instrument. Just fire it up and make a simple 4-beat click track and loop it.
However, you can go to your mixer and select to view all tracks. There you'll see the "Click" track, which you should be able to pan to the left or right as you wish.

  • The "i" button in the audio track header.

What is the function of the "i" button in the audio track header?

Right click in the audio track header and you can choose which options you want visible.
If you want to know it's purpose (besides the obvious) look it up in the manual or online help.

  • Separating audio Tracks 1 and 2 in Final Cut Pro 6

Hello, So this may seem like a easy question but for some reason I'm having trouble.
I am editing a project with two audio tracks. Track 1 is a lav microphone and track 2 is (back up) boom mic.
All of track 1 is great with the wireless mic so I want to get rid of track 2 and duplicate track 1 and make that new track 2.
I've done this before and never had any problems but now I can't disconnect the two tracks.  If one is locked then the other will not
delete.  They are stuck together and will not do anything independently.
    I'm curious what I'm missing.
If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    J-

Click on the audio tracks in the timeline to select them, then go to the menu Modify > Stereo Pair to toggle if you want them to behave as a stereo pair or not (you do not).

  • How to change file name of duplicated audio track??????

I option-clicked-dragged an audio track vertically to create a new track (the manual says to drag the track number but that doesn't seem to work - I dragged the single region). I created a new track name. I then dragged the new track to the right, so the notes are displaced. However, both tracks point to the same file (when I delete some audio in one track, the corresponding audio is automatically deleted in the other track - wrong behavior).
How do I get the second track to be stored in a new file?
    Thanks

this is normal behavior, option dragging makes a new region, but it still is using the same audio file.
to create a new audio file out of the copy you can, from the audio menu in the arrange window choose "Convert regions to new audio files" this will turn it into a new audio file

  • How do you "UNLINK" the audio tracks?

I have had LOGIC now for about 3 weeks. I am learning tons and enjoying the program overall. I have received some great help from this forum. My latest adventure is creating more audio tracks. I found out recently from this forum that I had the settings in my LOGIC setup. I increased the number of audio tracks that I can use. My current question is, If I need more audio tracks in a project, I click on an audio track and then go to the Track>Create Multiple Tracks menu. I can import as many as I need.
The problem I am having is, when I create the tracks, they are somehow "linked" to whatever track that I clicked on when I choose to create the new tracks. I have tried changing the track and midi channels in the LH side of the arrange window, but when I change one track, the other one changes also. I don't know how to separate them. Is there some way to do that? ALSO>>>> Is there a way to create new audio tracks without having to click on an existing track first?
    Thank you for your consideration.

The fastest way I know is to 1)- open the track mixer window, 2) click on the global button - to turn it on, 3) click on track button - to show all available tracks, 4) double click on an unused track, this will put a new track into the arrange window.
Turning off the global button in the mixer window and selecting the parts you want to display (Track, Instruments, MIDI, auxs, busses, etc) will show you the active tracks you have in the arrange window.
    Regards
    BB

  • Not able to select audio track.

When unlinked and  I click on an audio track nothing happens. I can't clear or move the track.

    Welcome to the forum.
Exactly how did you unlink the Audio & Video?
If you Alt+click on the Audio Clip, in a Targeted Track, is it still not Selected?
    Is that Track Targeted?
What version of PrPro are you using?
    Good luck,

  • MPEG gets audio track truncated in the timeline

I havean  mpeg produced in Adobe Media encoder ( from Premiere).
Plays and checks out fine until it is placed in an Encore Timeline and the audio track gets cut off  at about 80% of the video.
eg  The video and audio track match  lengths visually when I drag in the mpeg file...until I Release the mouse.  THen the audio track truncates.
    mpeg duration = 1.20mins
    Any thoughts folks?

It was mpeg 2 dvd. Ann
I haved just tried with different multiplexer ( m2v) and that works fine.

  • Exporting Quicktime with discreet audio tracks

How in FCP do you export a quicktime file with more than two channels of audio that are discreet?

    Hi -
    For FCP 7:
    Click on your timeline.
Type Command - 0 (Zero) and click on the Audio Outputs Tab.
Change the number of outputs you want, and set the track pairs up as stereo or dual mono, as you want.
Click OK, a warning dialog box will come up that you can dismiss.
On the timeline, Option-Click on each audio track right below the auto-select toggle icon, and from the drop down menu, route the track to the desired output track.
When done, export the Quicktime movie.
The only way you will verify that all the tracks are there is to either open the exported quicktime in Quicktime pro and menu Window > Show Movie Properties. You'll see the additional tracks listed there -OR- just import the exported movie back into FCP and bring it up in the Viewer, you'll see all the audio tracks.
Make sure you restore your sequence back to two channel ouput, if you want, when you are done.
    Hope this helps.
