Multicam - One angle blank

Slowly putting FCP7 to bed...next up (perhaps last) is MultiCam. I'm having an issue where I have a simple 2 camera set up that I've synced with Markers ( The footage is HDV720p60 @ 18Mb/s per track). After I make my multiclp and append it to the timeline, one of the cameras is blank (as in no vid/aud that is there when viewing the clip media alone).

"Add a new lane in the multicam editor...." I'm assuming you mean drop footage into the multicam clip timeline (where i WOULD <should..haha> see multiple cams...correct? Or am i missing something?
HOWEVER, here's an update:
I zoomed into that timeline. See that TINY blip on Closeup cam line? I didn't at first either. Zooming in more I see:
It appears that FCP for some reason was treating that cam like a single frame of footage (notice the "L" and "Reversed L" in the viewer? I couldn't ripple trim to reveal either. Seeing that i deleted it from my multicam timeline, pulled clip down into multicam editor and hand lined up the sync marker. Then it appeared OK.
Hmmm...I edited the project in FCP 7 so pressure is off, I'll keep trying to see if this gets recreated.
More to come, i think. THoughts on why that happened?

Getting One Extra Blank Page

Hi All,
I am printing labels thru smartforms. For eg. my internal tablei have 3 line items
so these 3 should be printed in 3 different labels. And I am getting the correct output also. But after that 3 label prints one extra blank page is coming.
What could be the reason.
I have used loop for the data.
loop - for showing continuous data.
program line - used to calculate number of entries i have in the table. I have already counted the total entry in my print program
and passing it thru Form interface-import parameters.
command line - for explicit page break in the table after each line item.
Kindly guide what could be the reason for this blank page.

If you run a page break after each line, it is normal that a blank page is published at the end. Do not ececute page break on the last record

All of the movies that we watch on I tunes have intermittent interruptions to the audio. It's like a one second blank every 20 seconds and we miss what is being said. This is independent of which movie is playing. Our Apple TV is hardwired.

Our Apple TV receiver is hard wired back to our network hub and the hub is working correctly. There is no problem with the video. What could be causing this problem?

I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.

FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

Have created multiclip. Moved it from browser to viewer. Saw that the 2 angles were not sync'd. Held down control/shift on one angle to scroll through clip to put them into sync. Both angles move at the same time. What is happening?

correction needs to be made to step #14, I typed:
14) Point to the start or end one of the clips, when you see the icon showing arrows going either way, right click and drag your clips to roughly match up with the timeline selection, then zoom in further and adjust the clip start and end points to match up exactly with the timeline selection start and endpoints.

Multiclip / Multicam 2 tapes for one angle - how to?

I have this Local H concert I'm trying to do multicam mix with. Right now I have 3 angles synced
angle 1 - MiniDV camcorder - tape 1 of 2 - 60 minutes
localh20005-10-23a1t1.dv
angle 2 - Digital 8 camcorder - tape 1 of 1 - 80 minutes
localh20005-10-23a1_t1Digi8.dv
3 - Sonic Studios mics audio (no video) - tape 1 of 1 - 80 minutes

For angle one I have a second tape that's missing the 61st minute while I changed MiniDV tapes. I'm confused as how I am suppose to sync this. I captured it to it's own file.

Am I suppose to pad the missing 61st minute with blank video and somehow combine the 2 files into one long file?
Do I need to pad 61 minutes of blank video on to localh20005-10-23a1t2.dv
and make it angle 4?

One iTunes on one account on one computer can support multiple iPads (and other IOS devices). The sync characteristcs (that YOU configure) can be completely different for each device. iTunes keeps track of which is which by serial number. You keep track of them by the names that you give to them.
Similarly, one iTunes on one account on one computer can support multiple Apple IDs and, of course, your ID is identified (no pun intended) by your email address. HOWEVER, if you are using multiple IDs, there is a minor PIA when you need to update apps. If you're logged in to the "wrong" ID, it's necessary to log out and back in again. This problem does not exist if you update the apps from the iPad as the iPad handles that for you. You must, of course, enter the correct password.
ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.

Multicam only showing one angle in project, fine in angle editor

As per the title really - the clip seems okay in the angle editor, but when I drag it into the project timeline, all angles apart from the primary are black.
I've tried copying the project, deleting the clip and re-adding it and nothing seems to work.
Any hints? I'm using the latest version of the Trial (10.0.0.8)

Hmm. I restarted FCPX to take the pictures and it seems to be working fine now! I'm not honestly sure why. One possibility is copying the multicam clip worked, and I inserted the wrong one into my timeline. But in any case it seems like the original problem is resolved. Thank you for your help!

Only one angle visible and no audio audible in multicam clip

Two source media clips are ProRes and one is AVCHD. Creating the multiclip seems to work in so far as making a clip with 3 camera angles in it. But only one camera angle's picture is actually visible; the other two are black frames. No audio is heard at all. All 3 source media clips have audio and that's how I synched them. I can't see any audio waveforms in the multicam clip in the sequence. With the multicam button activated, I can make the yellow rectangle move around as though something were there, but no picture. In the multicam creation dialogue, I chose track 1 audio for synch and camera 1 to be my audio source. I am using the latest version of PP CC.
I saw a long thread from June/July 2013 discussing a similar problem, but that supposedly has been fixed. What is happening here? I exported a Final Cut Pro 7 project with 2-angle multi-clips in it, imported that XML file into Premiere and the multiclips worked fine. This is a different project, but I have no idea why this is not working. The answer is not in the instructions.

I do wish the PDF would include the original, manual method of multicam sequence creation, preferably as the first option, as that method still works just fine and often works better than the 'auto' methods now hyped.
For interested readers, here's the process:
1. Create a sequence.
2. Add your clips.
3. Sync them up.
4. Create a second sequence.
5. Nest the first sequence into the second.
6. Right click that nested sequence and select Multi-Camera>Enable.
A very simple process that works every time.

Multicam editing / one angle is black

I'm running FCPX 10.0.6 on a Mac Pro with 2 2.66Ghz and 13 gigs of RAM and OS 10.7.5
Wedding project, 2 cameras.
All clips are visible and work well in the preview window.
I have 3 clips from one camera at about 6 minutes each and another from the main camera at 40 minutes, after I create the multicam clip the multicam widow shows the main camera (40 minutes) totally black in the timeline, I've already deleted it a couple of tiems but problem persists.
Have you seen anything similar?

Multicam Edit playback: One Angle only in Viewer

I just shot a theater play with 3 cameras, managed to do a multicam edit thanks to the great walkthroughs there is on internet. So I now finished a rough cut, and I want to review the whole thing from the beginning.
Now for some reason, when I play the cut, my Viewer only shows the active angle and not the multiclip.It will show me the 3 angles only if I pause.
Is there some setting I missed?
Here are my settings
RT:
Unlimited RT / Dynamic Playback Video quality and frame rate / Multiclip playback

Can you output a multicam video (more than one angle on screen)

I'm trying to output some video for an engineering project and I need to be able to show four angles of the same intersection on one video. It is possible to do this? If so, how?

I am not sure if I have your question correct but yes it is possible.
Place a video on a track with another on the track above, a third on the track above the second. You can stack as many as you want on top of each other.
Then with the clip on the highest numbered track highlight the clip and then in the effects panel resize and reposition the clip, repeat going down the tracks

Problems colour correcting multicam in angle editor

Hope someone can help:
I'm trying to colour correct one of the multicam clips in the angle editor.
When I click colour match and hover over the other clip part of this multi cam clip nothing happens and the 'apply match' button remains greyed out.
I can colour match the individual cuts back in normal time line but of course I don't want to waste time doing it to every single clip/cut.
Why won't it let me colour correct in angle editor?
The mouse turns into a mini camera like icon when I hover over the clip i want to match to.
Any ideas?

Tom - I realize how awesome you are to this community - and have learned a great deal from you - but this link you posted has the same question posed but NOT answered -- there seems to be no solution.
I have recreated this same issue.
I can color match two clips in a timeline -- but cannot get the same exact work flow to work in the multi-cam clip.
Basically it all works as expected right up until I click the clip I want to match -- when I do that - nothing happens and the apply match blue button stays greyed out.
This is posted all over the forums at Creative Cow and here with no real solution.
Surely something has happened to cause this on my part but I cannot figure out what.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When opening Apple Mail links 2 Firefox Windows Open, The top one is blank and the one behind it contains the web link page???

Whether with previous version of Firefox, or new one (3.6.4), when I open an Apple Mail link, Firefox opens 2 windows. Top window is blank, window behind it contains web page for mail link that I hit. I can't find anything in preferences of mail or Firefox to resolve this issue.

I have discovered one solutionto my problem, which is not really convenient and is something I don't have to do with Safari 5 -- If I have Firefox open, but not a window open, then when I click on an Apple Mail link, only 1 window opens. But I don't always want to have my browser open, so this is kinda annoying. I'd rather not use Safari -- Firefox is so much better. Please fix this! Thanks.

HP PSC 2175 All-in-one prints blank pages from word, chrome and notes

My HP all-in-one printer PSC 2175 all-in-one has suddenly decided to print blank pages.
So far I've tried printing from Word, Notes and Photoshop but come up with nothing.
It prints test pages and diagnostic pages without any problems and it makes direct copies without problems.
The diagnostic tool can't find anything wrong.
I've run all the software I could find on Swedish HP.
I've reinstalled the printer, reinstalled Word, repaired Windows, nothing helps.
I have Windows XP, fully updated.
Any suggestions?
