Multicam Program Window camera options missing

Hello all.
I am using multicam for the first time. All has been well for a few hours but now the different camera views that I click on in the program window have disappeared so I can no longer perform live switching. The current selected view in a larger frame to the right still remains. I can still change the camera view for a clip using the source window but that's no use for live switching.
I have tried clicking on the spanner icon and checked that 'multicam' is selected.
I have tried deleting plists, repairing permissions and rebooting but no joy.
I am using Premiere Pro CC v8.1.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried Adobe live chat and got a solution.
Multi-camera editing doesn't like custom layouts.....which is ironic because, by definition, a multi-camera shoot is going to generate a lot of footage to organise.
If you set up a new project with a standard screen layout and use only one monitor then import your old project into this new one, multi-camera works again.
I have also learned that audio offset does not work if you sync video via audio and AME won't render a multi-cam sequence, I have to render from the sequence itself.
I have gone back the old way of editing 3 layers of video. It's so much faster than trying to figure out the multi-camera bugs!

am running desktop v4.6 ans wanted to sync my windows contacts but that option is missing. i have tried v4.7 n v5.0 and they all have windows contact option missing from. i only have oulook,yahoo and ascii. any help. thanks

The option won't show up on the list. Once you have checked SMB File Sharing, that will enable sharing your files with Windows computers. You don't need to do anything else after that.

"This window only" option missing from Show View Options

Hi,
When trying to create a background image for a disk image for distribution, the radio button for "This window only" is missing. I read instructions on the web on how to set the background image, make the file invisible in the Terminal. It will work on the 10.6 system that created it, but will not show on another computer. (Mac OS does not matter)
I eventually had to do this on an old system with Tiger 10.4 . There when looking at View Options, the radio button is there labeled 'This window only' . I created the disk image and voila' it will keep the background image for any other computer.
So my question is - Is there a keyboard combination to set this? This option is missing in 10.5 and 10.6 . This is really frustrating.

I'm experiencing the same problem. However, I don't think it's defaulting to an arbitrary colour. Rather, it seems to be defaulting to the exact opposite colour (than whatever colour was selected) in the spectrum.
For example, if I set the background colour of a folder to red, it instead defaults to green (and vice versa). This is consistent for all opposing colours.

Imovie window and options missing

In imovie from today I have only 2 windows instead of 3 and no access to options transitions, titles, musics...on the left bottom side of the screen on my current project
if I create a new project I have the 3 windows and access to the options?!

Update to my previous post: I'm still quite unfamiliar with iMovie 11. I was accessing video clips that were imported into the Library, and trying to edit them, to no avail. I needed to click on "All Projects", and select the equivalent Project to be worked on. When I selected a project, the "Content Library" including "Transitions" appeared in the lower left corner. I can then drag video clips down to the lower left of the screen and assemble and edit them, including placing of transitions.

Multicam button and options missing

I am using Primiere Pro with WIndows 7 and trying to complete a multicam project. I can synce the 2 files, and create a multicam stack, but can not select a multicam button from the options--it simply is not there to select. I also can not use options to select which camera to engage, as only #1 camera comes up in the program window.. Is there something missing from my software?

The wrench does nothing, but there is an option for turning on and off the tranit controles, e.g., in, out, etc. but nothing for adding a multicam edit button, and in the buttion editor, there is no multican buttion to select. At present, I have a timeline and a program view, but only for camera #1. Any other thoughts?

I am deploying a custom windows 8.1 enterprise image via SCCM to Surface Tablets in our corporate environment. We currently are using windows 8 ONLY on surface hardware.
We only have 4 in the wild but all are having the same issue. The camera app tile/shortcut is missing from the all applications menu.
If I try to launch it from the c:\windows\camera folder i receive an error regarding Windows.UI.Xaml.dll as I believe it needs to be called via the modern environment (not desktop).
It dose not appear to be a hardware issue as third party camera apps seem to work.
Also, when i search for the app in windows store it cannot be found. I can find it when i search the store via IE but when I click on the link to open it in the windows store i am only presented with the stores front page.
Any advice would be appreciated as my users are keen to use the camera on their surface pro 3's.

This sounds as though the Camera app has become corrupt in your image. I would attempt to reimage one of the devices with a vanilla environment to see if the issue appears, if not, I would
evaluate the difference between the Camera app in the vanilla environment and the production environment. Specifically, you may need to ensure that the correct version of Camera is provisioned in the base image.

Camera option from lock screen missing

I updated to the iOS5 and while I love some of the new features one feature is missing. The camera option form the lock screen is not showing up. Is there something in settings that I have not selected or something I missed. Thanks for your help.

Double tap the home button while on the lock screen, the camera button is there.

Possible to export video of the multicam preview window that shows all of my angles on one screen?

hello,
i have created a multicam sequence successfully and want to send my client a video showing them all 7 angles playing back in sync. basically i want to send them exactly what i see on the left half of the screen when i enable multicam view in the program window. is there a way to do this without having to go back to my original sequence and use the position and scale settings to show all 7 camera angles at once?
i know using the position and scale is not difficult just hoping there is a faster way since the application is already doing exactly what i need when it generates the multicam view in the program monitor.

I'm just speculating here, but I am aware that not all .AVI
files are created equally. As I understand it, there are a plethora
of different CODECs (COmpressor/DECompressor) types used to create
them. So I would think it would be entirely possible that the .AVI
in question wasn't created using a CODEC that Captivate is
understanding.
I'm wondering if you were to try converting the .AVI to a
.SWF using a different utility if you might see better results.

Adobe Premiere CS5 & 5.5 Multicam & Preview Windows Issue

Why Adobe Premiere multicam is restricted to only four 4 cameras? While other softwares like FCP offers 9 cameras and Edius 6 offers 16 cameras previews. Edius 6 also offers proxy mode for smooth editing. Once you have done multicam edit you can turn off proxy mode. Also in Edius 6 you can full screen any preview window Multicam window, source window and program window etc on any monitor if you have multi views like 1,2 and 3 displays. You Can full Screen Multicam viwes in monitor 1 and PGM on other. This is Very Great feature in Edius. You can edit multiformat in Edius 6 and it is Realtime. In Adobe Premiere pro's every version Previews monitor windows have very bad quality but in Edius 6, Speed Edit 2.0, Previews windows never loose qualiy werther full scerren or half. Quality remains same. I want Adobe to fix these issues. Premiere will Rock.

When I don't have the BROWSER menu option turned on, the WINDOW menu options are un-accessable by mouse

First of all, I would like to clarify which "menu" is un-accessable.
I'm referring to the menu that regardless of which program, a user can access by either clicking ALT + SPACE or by clicking the top left corner of the window. I'm NOT referring to the FIREFOX menu options, those I am fine with.
Normally, I can just move my mouse to the top left corner and double click to close a program. I used to be able to do that too with firefox 3.6. However, due to the new design, when I click the top left corner, I get the orange Firefox drop down menu. This is because firefox, due to the new update, no longer has an independent window bar that is the norm across most programs. The only way I can get this independent menu bar is to enable the browser menu bar. This however, adds two entire layers of bars, which defeats one of the purposes of the update, to give more viewing space
The Chrome browser also has the tab row on top, however, it doesn't have the issue I brought up. When I click the top left corner of the window, the regular WINDOW menu options pop up.
The reason why this is important to me is due to the fact that I use two monitors. Normally, I can just move my cursor to the top right and close the window without looking for my right hand side monitor, and then double click the top left hand side of my left hand side monitor to close the window. This is because with a 2 monitor set up, the "X" close button is located inconvinently in the middle of my two screens, forcing me to aim for the tiny small red rectangle, which is why I prefere to double click the top left corner; I don't have to aim.
I have long been a loyal user of firefox. Browsers like Chrome and others have been out ranking firefox for a long time, mozilla is only playing catch up here...
While I am glad for the update - better speed due to JaegerMonkey, the added hardware acceleration, the tab groups, and more, if the window menu problem is not resolved soon, this update is going to force me to switch browsers.
I look forward to a fix, or response on how to resolve this issue.

it's possible but there is likely no need to do this. what exactly is wrong with your computer? a simple reinstall of snow leopard on top of your current system will cure many ills and will preserve your data and applications. and many problems can be solved without reinstalling at all.
but if you insist on doing a wipe and install boot from the SL install DVD and start disk utility from utilities menu at the top. erase your hard drive using the erase tab in disk utility. then quit disk utility and proceed with the install. and if you do reinstall I suggest you back up your data first. otherwise it will be completely wiped when you erase your hard drive. and you should always back up anyway.

You keep showing up when I search for this problem so I hope you can help.
I'm having the same issue in Premiere and Media Encoder (but not After Effects). My Mac just restarts itself as soon as video is loaded. I can start Premiere and open a project and go through relinking media, but as soon as video touches my Source or Program windows the Mac Pro (3,1) shuts down.
I've fixed the problem temporarily two times. The first time I was troubleshooting what was wrong and wound up putting in my old video card and after that fixed the problem, I switched back to my GTX 680. I also did a driver update. After doing that I was ok for a few days so I figured it was a driver thing or maybe the card just needed to be reseated. Then when it started acting up again I figured something was going on.
So I started searching again and came across one of your posts that recommended removing CUDA. I did that and it worked perfectly for a week until about 20 minutes ago. Crashed in the middle of an edit and now each time I restart Premiere it crashes as soon as video touches my monitors.
I found this post because I specifically searched for "com.nvidia.web.NVDAResmanWeb(8.2.7)" from my Problem Report.
Any thoughts?

Video looks ok in source window but distorted in Program window.

I am trying to work with video clips shot using a Canon XF 305 at 1280 X 720 at 60P FPS. Using the Canon XF utility, I have injested the clips from the card to my hard drive where they are stored as MXF files. Using Premiere’s media browser, I imported them into bins from my hard drive. I set up the sequence to match the clips settings . The video looks fine in the Source window but when I bring over onto the timeline- the same clip looks distorted with artifacts in the program window. I then used Adobe Prelude to convert the MXF files into ProRes 422 LT files with same resolution of 1280 X 720 at 59.94 frames FPS. I used the media browser to bring those pro-res clips into Premier and set up another new sequence to match the clips setting. I get the same problem- the video looks good in the source window but terrible in the program window when I bring them into the timeline. They are completely distorted with artifacts. This is the first time I have tried working with 1280 x 720 60p fps clips. I have successfully worked with 1920 X1080P 30P clips from the same camera with no issues. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong and how to correct my workflow will be appreciated.

Is your 'Playback and Pause' resolution set to 'Full' for your program monitor?
Also, why not just drag one of the clips to the 'New Item' button at the bottom of the project window to make a sequence with the settings of your clip?

Acrobat 9 Std - Comments- 'Enable for Commenting And Analysis In Reader' option Missing

Hi,
We've purchased a copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard, and need to enable comments in Reader for PDFs that we create in Acrobat. The option to "Enable For Commenting And Analysis In Reader" seems to be missing from the "comments" menu, even though all the videos/tutorials insist it's there.
I haven't found any threads about this yet, and searched google for the missing option + "missing" along with other things. Nothing related came up.
Any ideas on what we could try? Or why this is happening?

I don't think Standard has this option. Acrobat Pro does.

Satellite A200 - Built-in camera is missing

Hi :)
First of all thank you in advance for your help.
I got a Satellite A200 without HDD, so I installed Vista 64 Bits in a new empty Disk... everything is alright but the built-in Chicony camera is missing in the Device Mannager, I tried reinstalling windows and the Last Version of the camera assistant software and nothing happens :-(
Do you think it could be a Hardware problem? I don't know if I have to connect something to the mainboard.

Today I switched HDs with another A200 (of the same model), that laptop had the original preloaded Vista 32 bits... my laptop detected my friends built-in camera but hers couldn't detect the camera in my laptop...
I don't know so much about computers but I'm afraid but this would mean a Hardware problem with my camera :_|

PS: Buy the way, if you think is still a Software problem... do you think the Toshiba centers have a recovery DVD for Vista 64 bits? The A200 come always with the 32 bits version
