Multicast rtmp - rtmfp republish does not work (always new netgroup)

publish an multicast video stream with fmle 3.2
start the multicast stream - stop - start
fml should use the old netgroup
log file

Hi John,
Thank you for your reply. Better late than never! Am glad I
got a response :-)
It does indeed sound like a caching pb on the server and that
was my initial request the net admins. Unfortunately did not work.
In the meantime I made my case to the net admins that I needed
admin rights to the Roboengine in order to succesully reach my job
objectives and after a some time they accepted :-).
I looked closer and really could not figure out what the pb
was: all the new files were physically there but the TOC, index and
CSH does not update. Accessing the project locally rendered the
same pb.
My only solution was to delete and republish. Worked fine.
Perhaps somebody could test this behaviour in a different
environment and see what they get?
Steps to reproduce:
1°) Create an RH project (e.g. Project1.XPJ), create
TOC, index and CSH and publish to the server using a name (e.g.
Project).
2°) Create another RH project (e.g. Project2.XPJ) create
TOC, index and CSH (different to the first one) and publish to the
server using the name as the initial project (i.e Project).

  • Home sharing does not work with new mountain lion update.

home sharing does not work with new mountain lion update. Does anyone else have the same issue. Updated all computers in my home, deauthorized and reauthorized each computer. turn off home sharing and turned it back on. don't know what else to do..please help...

Our Apple TVs continue to lose connection ever since installing Mountain Lion on the host computer. The only thing that fixes them is to quit and relaunch iTunes, which only works unti the ATV goes to sleep. If a movie is paused for more than a few minutes and the ATV goes to sleep, pressing play again on the remote is greeted with "There are no movies on this computer" or "Turn on Home Sharing."
If we stop a video on one ATV and attempt to resume it in another room, the error begins again. The other ATV can't connect until iTunes is relaunched.
My guess is that it has something to do with the new [annoying] security settings. But I still haven't found a fix other than restarting iTunes everytime we want to watch something from our downloads. Fail.

  • Rtmfp p2p does not work on ios, who is responsible?

    Hello,
i'm having some troubles with p2p rtmfp connections from and to an air packaged ipa file via adt.
First, iam not able to open 2 concurrent NetConnections.
So this Example by Michael Thornburgh on http://forums.adobe.com/thread/857560?tstart=0 will just not work on my IPad (air file packaged with adt), but it does in the Air Player on my Laptop!
Second, Broadcasting via rtmfp from an IPad  (air file packaged with adt) and Receiving the Signal on eg. a Laptop and Air file will not work either.
Who can give me qualified info on whom to ask for cirrus, rtmfp and ios related questions?

    Hi Michael,
youre absolutely right in the two things you mentioned.
1.) For the sake of simplicity i stripped out all NetConnection status handlers, to see if the net connection worked or not or what else happened.
But if i write the trace output in a textfield on ios i see that everthing works fine on the first place, and my super lame check if both connections are ready works there, both are connected successfully.
    2.) onPeerConnect return value:
    "onPeerConnect() function doesn't return a value" => that is right, but it does not make a difference on ios even if they return true;
the corrected script on: http://codetidy.com/794 reflects that, but it does not work.
What i meant with two concurrent NetConnections not working meant was, that it is just not working when using rtmfp.
It worked on the ipad when i used the traditional rtmp client / server streaming via red5 though.
the rtmfp on ipad fails, when ipad is the sender and another device or itself is the receiver. then after a call to:
    initRecvStream();
and therefore the  _recvStream.play( "stream" ); method, i dont get a netStatusHandlerReceiver event back on the receiver side, nor does a onPeerConnect method on the sender does get triggered.
But one thing stays quite strange:
if i setup my ipad packaged air file as a receiver and receive a stream from another air file on my laptop via cirrus it works.
if i setup my ipad packaged air file as a sender and send the stream to another air file on my laptop via cirrus it does not work.
so there seems to be a bug in the ios packager and rtmfp part.

  • Flash streamed via RTMP (using Flowplayer) does not work; does in IE 9.

I have the latest Flash plug-in and Firefox 6.0.2. Flash files from YouTube work. However, Flash in Flowplayer -- using RTMP streaming -- does not load.
The following page works with latest version of Flash in IE 9:
    http://www.3xconversionformula.com/replay/short
However, it simply will not load in Firefox.
I do NOT have any ad blocking plugins, etc.
The Flowplayer page actually allows you to test HTTP vs RTMP vs no streaming and Firefox hangs on RTMP. So, I believe I have found out what the bug is for you, but updating Flash will not remedy the situation. It seems to be a Firefox problem.

AVG 9.0 is installed and the video (Flash in Flowplayer) works with IE 9 and Chrome.
Flash video works in Firefox, but not all Flash files. Flash in Firefox works with YouTube, Adobe's Flash website, and various other places, but not everywhere.
2 URL's are supplied above that contain Flash content that does not work with my Windows 7 (64-bit) Intel Core i7 Toshiba laptop with NVIDIA GeForce graphics card.
On the Flowplayer website -- someone who should know how to properly implement their player with Flash -- Flash does work with Firefox when HTTP and no streaming are used. However, nobody seems to note that this does not work for RTMP streaming.
So, Flash works -- sometimes -- but not all the time. However, the VERY same Flash files DO work on SAME laptop with SAME firewall and no problems with IE 9 and Chrome. Bottom line: RTMP streaming seems to be the issue with Firefox as pointed out on the following website:
    http://flowplayer.org/setup/index.html
    Attached images:
    1. HTTP Streaming
    2. RTMP Streaming - Faulty
    3. No Streaming
NOTE: Website states, "RTMP The most advanced video streaming technology today."
The following 2 videos will not work with my Firefox:
http://www.3xconversionformula.com/replay/short -- uses Flowplayer as its Flash player.
http://www.schedulicity.com/Essentials/Video-Gallery.aspx -- uses Brightcove as its Flash player.
YouTube works. Also, the Brightcove website itself does work. So, its the implementation of Flash players -- not Flash itself -- that seems to be the problem. However, its not a problem with old versions of Firefox, nor IE 9 or Chrome.

  • Encrypt Message does not work with new Plug-in 7.3

I installed the new Email Security Plug-in 7.3 but now the Encrypt Message button does not work.  It is grayed out and unavailable when I attempt to create a new message.
I first tried installed 7.3 over the previous version but every time I opened Outlook I received an error message about XML not loading.  I uninstalled the plugin, rebooted and installed it clean and that took care of the XML message.  But I then found the encrypt button issue and have not been able to solve that issue.  This is not isolated to my machine as I have tried installing it on another machine that never had the plug-in installed before.

My understanding is that they completely rewrote it, which is probably why an upgrade doesn't work well...
I did get one way of deploying figured out, the stuff on page 3-20 has some errors.
Here's what I did that works:
Do a clean install on a machine that doesn't have any plugin installed.
Copy the C:\Users\All Users\Cisco\Cisco IronPort Email Security Plug-In\Common directory and its contents to a network accsible share, say \\fs1\share\pluginconfig, so you now have \\fs1\share\pluginconfig\Common, etc...
Copy your BCE_Config_Signed.xml file to the Common folder
         Rename that to config_1.xml
Edit the CommonEncryptionConfig.xml to have the following XML:
Now you can push the install with a command line that references the folder (the example on page 3-20 is wrong, no 's' ):
                CiscoIronPortEmailSecurity-7-3-0-102.exe /exenoui /qn UseCustomConfig="\\fs\share\pluginconfig"
(if you're doing it on the same machine you did the clean install with, you should uninstall it first...)

  • EPrint does not work after new wifi router on Verizon DSL

I have been using ePrint on my iPod, iPad, and iPhone for a few months without a problem, but recently had to switch to a new wifi router on my Verizon DSL, as my wifi kept turning off and Verizon's solution was an updated wifi router. Since the switch, I cannot ePrint from my mobile devices. I can, after reconfiguration, print from my laptops. The ePrint app still finds the Deskjet 3050a, says "sending to printer", but will not print. The ePrint is turned on. I tried to delete the app and reinstall in hopes that I can start fresh, but it still does not work. I tried to add a new printer, with the email supplied on the ePrint screen on the printer, but nothing.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Honor Student
Is your printer connected to the new router as it sounds like it is still looking for the old one ?  Maybe  just disconnect it and reconnect it again to your new router and then the ePrint APP should pick it up.
    I work for HP.
    Thanks
    Caroline

  • JRE 1.3.1_02 does not work with new Nvidia drivers - HELP!

I am a user and not a developer but this problem really does bite the big one. I have had installed JRE 1.3.1 and have used it to run LimeWire file sharing program for a long time (LimeWire is a java program from www.limewire.com) and also use it to see java applets on web pages in IE 6.
I have since upgraded my Nvidia video drivers to version 2.8.3.2 which is the latest official release at this time from Nvidia. Since doing this I have no java at all anymore. Limewire refuses to run at all and there is an error report generated in it's resident directory. If I go to http://java.sun.com, IE hangs and then dissappears, leaving a bug report on my desktop. It seems that JRE does not like the new NT OpenGL dll at all in the new Nvidia drivers and will not run at all. The dll that causes the problem is:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvoglnt.dll
I upgraded JRE to version 1.3.1_02 because Sun says this is the latest version and runs on XP which is what I have. Still java does not run at all anymore and I get the same bug reports. Has anyone found a workaround for this problem? This really stinks because now I cannot use LimeWire at all and if any web page has java on it, it dissappears right away and there is no more browser on my desktop. The only way I can even visit http://java.sun.com is if I use a Java blocking applet to filter out java applets on web pages.
Please address this issue in JRE development and release a patch for it or a workaround.
    Thank you for reading this.

    Chuck,
I stumbled in here looking for help, I am a PC user,
not a coder or developer (How sad. <g>). I checked for
updates to the Nvidia driver (none), Windows XP (not
at this time), and DirectX 8.1 (not at this time,
these come on the XP updates page so far as I know.)
    Not too suprising...
I have no idea of how to implement your suggestion on
how to disable the JMV use of DirectX overal in my XP
envornment. I guess that using Internet Explorer 6 to
see web pages with Java on them are pretty much out of
the question for now but I would be happy as a clam if
I could get my LimeWire application going again.
LimeWire is called via a desktop or Start menu
    shortcut in this fashion:
    Target Box: C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe -cp .
    RunLime
    Start In (directory): "C:\Program Files\LimeWire 1.7"
So it appears that java is called via the javaw.exe
file and passes a cp argument (whatever that is), then
there is a period separator (dunno why) and then the
"RunLime" statement that calls up the LimeWire
program.to implement the suggestion, simply add -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true between "javaw.exe" and "-cp" separating it from them by a space on each side. Your result should look something like this:
    c:\windows\system32\javaw.exe -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true -cp . RunLime
    >
I cannot see any need for fancy graphic acceleration
or DirectX being called to play for this application
since it is basicly a file manager that shares.
Nothing fancy about it.It's not the application choosing to do this, but Java itself. Java GUI applications specifically those who use the Swing GUI classes (like LimeWire, if I recall) automatically leverage DirectX. This is really valuable for Swing applications since they emulate Windows (or Mac or Motif) GUI widgets rather than using them, making fast access to display buffers important to ensure best performance.
    >
Do you have any idea of how to pass your
    "-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true" statement to disable
DirectX into the above call to start java and
    LimeWire?See above.

on this. Thank you for your time and suggestions.

  • Auto focus in Safari Yosemite does not work on new tab.

Creating a new tab in Safari does not auto focus the address bar. I need to Cmd-L to activate the address bar. This is annoying because I usually create a new tab to enter a search. Is this a bug or working as intended?

OK! I've found the error by myself. The XML file I am trying to update is not schema valid. Infact I've registered the schema with this call:
    begin
    dbms_xmlschema.registerSchema(
    'PurchaseOrder.xsd',
    getdocument('PurchaseOrder.xsd'),
    TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,TRUE
    end;
So the first three lines of the XML file must be:
    <PurchaseOrder
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="PurchaseOrder.xsd">
    and not
    <PurchaseOrder
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="HTTP://localhost/sys/schemas/REF5/PurchaseOrder.xsd">
I think it is better not to register the schema with relative URL...
    Bye!

  • My web pplication does not working with new version of firefox 31. It uses heatmap.js plugin for leaflet.js to build temperature map.

There is site for heatmap.js: http://www.patrick-wied.at/static/heatmapjs/example-heatmap-leaflet.html

After update firefox to version 31 I could not see temperature map in browser for this example. But with previous version of firefox I could see it.

  • Application written with JavaScript does not work in newer versions of Firefox

I am unable to upgrade past Firefox 3.6 because an application we use does not appear to work properly any any newer version. The application is CA Service Manager and is based on JavaScript. The pages display properly, but none of the links in the pages seem to work. When I click on a link, nothing happens. I have tried restarting in safe mode and resetting the profile, but neither of those helped any. Is this just a setting I need to change?

Would you be able to at least provide a link to the site you are having issues with, so that more experienced users can crack a shot at it? If not, please open a support ticket directly with the Mozilla team. There should be a "Report broken site" function in the Help menu of Firefox as well.

  • Classic option does not work in new installation of Tiger

This problem is in a new installation of Tiger 10.4.6 on a G4 Cube. First I ought to say I am really happy with the Tiger OS. It runs really well on my Cube. The problem is - the Classic option in the System Preference folder will not open. It starts up like it will, tells me I should update the Quicken version to 6.3, and when it has finished opening it flashes a Classic icon in the dock, which just as quickly disappears. I have tried to open it by opening an application that needs it to run, and I have tried to open it with extensions off, with the same result.
I can reboot to OS 9.2.2 and I have done that several times with no problem. I just wonder why the Classic option in Tiger is not working? Could it be a memory problem: not enough? I have 384MB

    Malcolm,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I read that there might be a possible extension problem in Classic, and I did try it with the extensions off as you suggested. It still will not start up. I will try again later from a "clean" start, and if all else fails I will call apple support, but I hate to do that as it's a bit like never, never land.

  • OK Google does not work always/seldom

    Hello,
just received my new Z3 - brilliant...... Only one issue
I cant get "OK Google" to work properly.
Firstly , Voice commands work perfectly if I press the microfone Icon or the google (now) bar and then speak.
But then I tried to get OK GOOGLE running from any screen , so activationg voice commands without having to press the icon or the google bar....
I switched language to english, and then I have to say OK Google three times so that it learns my voice.
Already here the issue starts - it took me 20 trys or more so that it accpted the three times OK Google.
Then everything seems to be set , but the phone only recognizes when I say OK Google sometimes, mostly not.
When it recognizes it then it seem to work 2,3 times and then 10 times not .
I tried in totally quiet surrounding enviroment and no matter how loud I shout OK google or not it only recognizes it after 5-10 tries sometime not at all. And sometimes , very rarely it works again.
I have resetted all and setup/trained the voice again already 10 times - NO difference....
The microfone itself of the phone is working fine in all other apps/phone ....
    Thanks for any hints

  • Diablo 1 not working at all, 12 year old game does not work on new computer

Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite P200 with Windows Vista 32 bit, it has a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 video card. I also have Direct x 10 installed which according to the manufacturers of my video card is compatible. I have run a game test which was included with the CD and it says everything is o.k. But it is still coming up with this error. "Diablo was unable to properly intialize your video card using directX" then it tells me to update my directx which i have done. check and update my driver for my video card and make sure its compatiable which i have done and know it is. I have been to Blizzard Games and they have said that can not help me and i will have to go to the manufacturer of the video card. I Went to them and they said because it was a laptop they can not help me with this and told me to goto the manufacturer of my laptop which i am doing at the moment, but if anyone else has had this problem and has any ideas how i can get this running please tell me thankyou.

This game was designed for Windows 95. Many older games wont run under the NT kernel (under XP and Vista) unless you use emulation such as DOSBox.
You could try setting the game to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode (Right click the games EXE file, choose Properties -> Compatibility Tab).
Otherwise you may need to install Win95/98, and possibly use an older Video Card since the display drivers change so rapidly and drop legacy features not used anymore.
