Multilanguage

Flash 2004 Mac
tried multilingual function with Strings-panel
After I had converted most of the flash-file, saved
everything and closed Flash.
I reopen flash, I do not see any text content,
I check the string-panel, it si empty so I assume I have to
import again the XML-file.
The string-panel shows nothing.
the Dynamic text fields show nothing, if I click on them, the
ID is shown on the String -panel, but no content, if I save again,
the XML file is empty and alll data lost
Next time i open the file, all text-fields are
«undefined»
By chance I have a back up of the XML-
What should I do?
Any hint to make it succeed?

Did you flash the rom which provide only for China Mainland ?

  • Office 2013 Multilanguage Deployment

    Hello,
    I have to deploy Office 2013 to our French users, English
    users and Italian users through SCCM 2012; they should have Office 2013 installed with same OS language.
    I already know how to do it on SCCM 2012, but I'd like to ask for your opinion.
    Solution 1
    I could have one folder for each Office 2013 language/platform:
    Office2013-FR-x86
    Office2013-FR-x64
    Office2013-EN-x86
    Office2013-EN-x64
    Office2013-IT-x86
    Office2013-IT-x64
    On SCCM 2012 I should create 6 Application Deployments.
    Having six folders and six Applications will increase management, but client will download needed content only (used language).
    Solution 2
    I could have one folder for each Office 2013 platform:
    Office2013-x86 - Contains x86 version of Office 2013 in French, English, Italian (Multilanguage)
    Office2013-x64 - Contains x64 version of Office 2013 in French, English, Italian (Multilanguage)
    On SCCM 2012 I should create 2 Application Deployments.
    Having two folders and two Applications only will be helpful for management, but client will download unneeded content for installation (unused languages).
    I hope to be clear.
    So, what is your opinion ?
    Thank you,
    Luca

    Hello Peter,
    thank you for your answer. Consider there is only one central support department who manages Application Deployments and SCCM in general. That said, I can imagine what you are referring to with "...depends on...if there is a local support department.":
    each local support department can manage its Office 2013 App. Deployment, so it is useful to have them splitted (Solution 1); isn't it ? With "...depends on...same type of device type..." what are your referring to ? They are all Desktop
    Computers with mixed OS: Windows 8, 7, XP.
    Solution 1 could be useful if, for example, I need to install Office 2013 English version on Italian OS (Solution 2 is not a good choice: Office 2013 will be installed in the same OS language).
    Like you, I prefer Solution 2 too, it will simplify management, helps to save disk space (applications repository); but I also need to consider: choosing it, SCCM Clients have to download much more data even if they don't need.
    Bye,
    Luca

  • Patching Office 2013 multilanguage - updates to be applied

    Hi,
    I deployed Office 2013 Std English with a list of Language Packs (german, italian, spanish, ...). To make the deployment, I created an administrative share with the suite (english version) and added several folders extracted fron Language Pack iso (the iso
    is named "Office Multilanguage Pack 2013 w Proofing Tools (All Languages)"). The deployment worked fine: now users can select English or other languages for the interface, the guide and the proofing tools.
    Now, I have to update for my deployed Office 2013 suites. I configure WSUS to download updates for Office 2013, but my question is: I can download only the english version for updates, or I have to configure WSUS also to download updates for Office
    in the languages I added to the suite?
    Thanks in advance.
    Roberto

    Always include English in addition to any other languages that are required throughout your organization.
    All updates are based on English language packs.
    The recommended practice by Microsoft
    is as below:
    Plan for WSUS Update Languages
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh328568(v=ws.10).aspx
    Choose a Type of WSUS Deployment
    http://technet.microsoft.com/us-en/library/cc720448(v=ws.10).aspx
    Using the WSUS 3.0 Configuration Wizard
    http://technet.microsoft.com/us-en/library/cc720475(v=ws.10).aspx
    Hope this helps.

  • Multilanguage Support at data level

    Hi,
    I have seen that BO provides a tool (Trasnlation manager) to provide multilanguage support at metadata kevel (universes and reports), What about the contents. For instance: Consider that we have a dimensional month table with month names for ecah language in different columns. How to achieve that BO displays the month name according for user local language preferences?
    Thanks

    Hi Stratos,
    Thanks for your suggestion. Its fits well for a table with following structure
    Product ID LOCALE Product_Name
    DC1212 en_GB Digital camera Appareil photo
    DC1212 fr_FR numérique
    DC1212 de_DE Digitalkamera 606 Universe Designer
    DC1212 es_ES Cámaras digitales
    SELECT Product_Name
    FROM PRODUCT
    WHERE PRODUCT.LOCALE = @Variable('PREFERRED_VIEWING_LO
    CALE')
    At query time the user replaces the variable by the correct locale value and Web Intelligence retrieves the information in that locale.
    But what happens if instead of a LOCALE column I have a table with a diferent column for each language?  Could be possible to apply some workaround?
    Thanks

  • Error Message when trying to install the PC Desktop Software v6.1.0 B38 (Multilanguage)

    Hello,
    After downloading the software, I tried to open it and I received the following message:

    A working solution!!!!!
    I have tried the numerous links to the above that others people have found and have always come up with the message 'Desktop Manager is not working - Windows is looking for a solution'.  Finally I have found one that works without having to adjust any settings on your PC or uninstall any others programs.
    I am with O2 Uk and did a search on Google for Blackberry Desktop Manager for O2 [Try the same with your own service provider's name].  After checking out a number of sites I ended up on a RIM page that I had not seen before which gave me a dropdown box for the Desktop Manager options for Windows and MAC OS's and all the Blackberry handsets.  I clicked on Windows OS and got the attached link
    https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB06...
    It loaded OK and found and installed my Bold 9700.   I set up and ran the 2 way configuration and normal service has been resumed!!!
    I would recommend downloading and using Revo Uninstaller as this seems to give you a cleaner uninstall of programs, registry keys and redundant folders than any other uninstall.
    Happy Synchronizing!!!!!!

  • Windows 8.1 Multilanguage OS and Store language

    Hi everyone, I'll try to explain my problem the best I can:
    I am trying to deploy a Windows 8.1 image using ConfigMgr 2012 R2. The image is configured as a multilingual image using French (Default) and English.
    My deployment is working fine and I am using the Unattend.xml file to set the language settings to either FR-CA, FR-FR (UILanguage).
    My problems are the following:
    Modern App are showing in English.
    Windows Store is displayed in English.
    I did found that if you go to Control Panel\Clock, Language and Region\Language there is bot English and French language displayed there.
    The language listed at the top will define the language the Windows Store will use when installing Apps and the language displayed. So if French is at the top, the store will be in French.
    My problem is that even if I am setting all the languages in the Unattend.xml to either FR-FR or FR-CA, the store will remain in English unless I manually place the French at the top in the control panel.
    There is the HKCY\Control Panel\Desktop\PreferredUILanguages key that will also define that setting.
    To make this automated, there is the GPO called Restricts the UI Languages Windows should use for the selected user that I can use, the problem with this setting is that it will restrict the language with no possible way to revert to English which will ruin
    my effort for a Multilanguage image that the user can decide.
    Anyway, my question is, I am missing something about how to set the language? Is there any other setting that I can use in the unattended.xml to set the PreferredUILanguages key or do I have to use either two different policies or set it by using GPP?
    Thank you all for your help!
    Mathieu
    Edit: I tried using the GPP setting with no success. The way I am looking at this behavior seem a bit buggy. When manually selecting stuff, the setting is right but setting it programmatically, this is not.
    When selecting English manually, all the user's interface is in English, when doing the same thing manually for French no problem. With a freshly deployed image, settings seems rights except the part I am talking about.

    Like I said I did tried the XML on a deployed computer I am using this command Control intl.cpl,, /F:"Path to file"
    The file content is this one:
    <gs:GlobalizationServices xmlns:gs="urn:longhornGlobalizationUnattend">
    <!--User List-->
    <gs:UserList>
    <gs:User UserID="Current">
    </gs:User>
    <!--Display Language-->
    <gs:MUILanguagePreferences>
    <gs:MUILanguage Value="fr-FR">
    <gs:MUIFallback Value="en-US">
    </gs:MUIFallback>
    </gs:MUILanguage>
    </gs:MUILanguagePreferences>
    </gs:UserList>
    </gs:GlobalizationServices>
    On a live computer I do not get any result and there is nothing in the event viewer neither.
    Is there a way you could test or validated with my file?

  • Want Blackberry Desktop Software to push MULTILANGUAGE Device OS

    Hi.  I just had to switch to an older Bold 9700 while my Bold 9790 is being repaired.  Upgraded the OS via Blackberry Deskstop Software and then realised later that there is no Arabic language option.  Is there a way that I can ensure that my Desktop Software pushes the Multilanguage Device OS in the future? I'm frustrated at having to re-load yet another operating system and restore all my data!!!  By the way, the link to download the multilanguage software is not easy to find either.

    Hello,
    Having language availability is a matter of having installed, to the BB, the OS package that includes the desired language, as governed by this KB:
    KB05305 Localization support for BlackBerry smartphones
    Consequently:
    chilkootcindy wrote:

    Yes...by installing, to your PC, the specific OS package you desire (as per the above KB). Doing this properly overrides the automatic methods that the Desktop Software/Loader.exe uses, and forces it to use the OS package you installed to your PC, regardless of the results of the automatic methods.
    chilkootcindy wrote:

    Unfortunately, if your carrier does not automatically offer you the OS package containing the language you need, then your only choice is the manual method, which indeed involves reloading your BBOS (along with requiring the backup/restore/configuration issues you mention).
    chilkootcindy wrote:

    OK...well, here in this user-to-user community, there's really nothing we can do about that...but all official OS packages are always available via the official download portal:

  • Multilanguage support in jsp reports (web layout) and in jsp general

    Hi!
    We have to develop multilingual applications, so we decide to use Oracle TranslationHub for translate our reports. This is restricted to paper layout at the moment.
    1.
    Are there plans to support jsp reports layouts through TranslationHub?
    2.
    I have played around whith some reports jsp tags (rw:), but it seems that it cannot reference boilerplates. If I could read the value from a paper layout boilerplate this would be a temporary solution, as all of our actual jsp reports contains paper layout as well and this I can translate with Oracle TranslationHub.
    3.
    Do you know any standard implementation for multilanguage support for jsp like resource files? Any hint to ducumentation would be helpful.
    With kind regards

    Help me pls.
    Thanks.

    Few weeks ago I posted an answer on a similar topic. Unfortunately, I am not able to search the forum at the moment, so I will have to repeat myself.
    If you implement multilingual sites it very much depends whether one site is a language version mirror of the other, or whether they are quite independent.
    The first approach will allow you to use UCM to control the language version - let's suppose you have all the texts in UCM (either as documents or small text snippets, usually html docs); now, in Webcenter you can display them using the direct URL (usually using an identifier called dID). You can enhance you link to use additional parameter, let's call it language, which will together dID identify not only your document, but also its language version. Note that this will require some work in UCM (indexing by language is not available by default).
    The other approach means that you have two or more sites which have some loose relationship between its files. You still can use UCM, namely Related Content component, to support use cases like 'if this document has been updated, create an update workflow for the related-links-documents, too'. However, in reality you will have just two or more separate sites.

    Any hint?....Anyone else had same problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Solved.
    I get the SBO_Application.language instead of oCompany.language.

    Hi,
    resource bundles work for labels but not data. If you have such a requirement then you need to add this using a discriminator column when querying it. Say you maintain the display data in multiple languages, then you would have a column that holds the language. The query would then be for the language the user expects. If you have static data - in the select one choice case - you can use
