Multipe mac addresses entries for the same port (FE)-Switch 3560

Dear All,
I have a problem with a host whitch is connected to 11 port of my cisco 3560. from time to time the, the connection is lost with the host and after some troubleshooting i see two entries of mac-address table for the port 11.
I'm asking if someone has an idee how to explain this issue and how to see if this port is participing to SPT or...
I see also somme error of collision :

i have two routers in the same switch: my wan router + un other router used to conneced some separated hosts to internet.
If i use statif addressing for the second subnet (2 hosts + internet router), is there any risk for collision or broadcast domains or errors ?
is the second router distrub my LAN or WAN ?

For the first part of the question, I guess somebody might be connecting a hub to that port. If the hub is not negotiating the speed/duplex with the 3560 switch, then that port will go to half-duplex mode and you will see collisions on the port. That might also explain why you are seeing multiple MAC addresses on that port. Please check the port to see if the hub is connected and remove it. You can use features like port-security to ensure only one MAC address is registered on that port and people are not connecting hubs/dumb switches on that port.
For the second issue, you can certainly use static IP addresses as long as they are not overlapping with other subnets in your network. If they are overlapping, you do need to configure NAT on the router so that they are not affecting rest of the network.

Outlook-2 different entries for the same person (but not the same email)

i was asked to switch from outlook 2007 to outlook 2013 as a trial.
For some reason, I get two different entries for the same person (but not the same email), one which is the name as normal and one where the name has ' around it. In the below example:
I have 24 emails sent to Ciaran and then a further 14 sent to 'Ciaran'
The email address for both is exactly the same and it does not seem to matter if I create a new email or reply to an incoming one.
I switched back to Outlook 2007 and the issue is still the same.
any suggestions?

I would say that there is no way to prevent Outlook from doing it, it dependents on how the sender formatted the sending address, not the recipient who replies.
To fix this:
Open the message and double click the address and view source
Just replace the generated Display As with the Display As you want

Fixing duplicate database entries for the same audio file

My iTunes Media folder is stored on a network accessible storage server. Since upgrading to 11.1.x, my computer seems to be duplicating database entries for the same audio files - for some albums, I have 4 entries for every song, each one pointing to the exact same file. The only difference between entries is rating info and play counts, which are specific to a particular entry (I think). Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there an obvious way to stop this from happening? I can delete and rebuild the database from media files, but that starts getting old if I have to do it every week or so. Is there a script to delete duplicate database entries? (I found a VB script on the iTunes for Windows community, but the offending machine is a Mac).

They are all different. Hover your mouse pointer over each of the "Content Type" descriptions and you should see a "tooltip" to see that each has a different description.

Multiple entries for the same company.

Anybody out there have any idea how to enter multiple entries for the same company in Mail without having to enter all information every time for each individual. This was a very basic feature in MS Outlook. Possibly a workaround if not an option within Mail? Thanks.

Select a card with the details on it, and Edit/Copy /Edit/Paste (Command-C Command-V). Now edit one of the cards with the new individual's details. If starting from scratch, create a company card with no personal information and duplicate it as needed.

Blocking all MAC addresses except for the ones you allow

I have a Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point. I want to block all MAC addresses from accessing the access point, except for the ones I've allowed. First I went to the Address Filters page and clicked on Allowed, then listed all the MAC address I want to be able to access the access point. Then I went to the Ethernet Advanced page, and set the Default Multicast Address Filter to Disallowed, and the Default Unicast Address Filter to Disallowed. Then I went to the AP Radio: Internal Advanced page, clicked on the Advanced Primary SSID Setup link, and set the Default Unicast Address Filter to Disallowed. Accept Authentication Type is set to Open with Shared and Network-EAP cleared, and the Require EAP check boxes are all cleared.
When using a computer whose MAC address is not listed on the Address Filters page, I am still able to connect to the network through the access point. I am also able to connect to the access point from any pc on my network by entering its IP address in Internet Explorer.
What do I need to do to block any pc without a listed MAC address from connecting to the access point?

Follow these steps to create a MAC address filter:
Step 1 Follow the link path to the Address Filters page.
Step 2 Type a destination MAC address in the New MAC Address Filter: Dest
MAC Address field. You can type the address with colons separating the character pairs
(00:40:96:12:34:56, for example) or without any intervening characters (004096123456, for example).
Note If you plan to disallow traffic to all MAC addresses except
those you specify as allowed, put your own MAC address in the list of allowed MAC
addresses. If you plan to disallow multicast traffic, add the broadcast MAC address
(ffffffffffff) to the list of allowed addresses.
Step 3 Click Allowed to pass traffic to the MAC address or click Disallowed
to discard traffic to the MAC address.
Step 4 Click Add. The MAC address appears in the Existing MAC Address
Filters list. To remove the MAC address from the list, select it and click Remove.
Step 5 Click OK. You return automatically to the Setup page.
Step 6 Click Advanced in the AP Radio row of the Network Ports section at

Different SBA DNS SRV entry for the same dns zone?

I got here a testlab with one enterprise pool and one sba deployed. The Branch Site got also an DNS Server installed. Both are using the same dns zone "test.com".
Of course now i got different server for the same SRV Record _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com - one for autodiscovery in the enterprise pool and one for the sba. Also I want to add the second one as failover srv + the DNS Server in the Enterprise Pool should
be used as a Forwarder.
Now I got some issues how to deploy several entries on two different dns server for the same zone.
1.) If I add manually the same zone + DNS SRV entries on the SBA the dns is somehow not resolving/forwarding the entries on the other dns server in ee to other servers which are not on my SBA dns.
2.) If I only pinpoint the SRV entries for _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com (one for sba and failover for ee site) the dns won't resolve the second a record to the enterprise pool.
What is the Best Practise for DNS SBA? Always point to the enterprise pool and, therefore, no other configuration is needed?

I played a little bit around. Problem was that I can not add the pinpoint dns srv entries via gui. Aditionally the tutorials did not work as my DNS server for SBA is not on a domain controller. In the end I did this:

Question is if that is a good best proctise or should the dns server within a zone contain the same records (Primary/Backup). The Client will then always hit the FE of the EE Pool first.
Also its quite a lot of work to setup.

here there is two stock transfer PO. in one PO there is two line items for the same material. in the second PO again same material with two line items.
but at the tme of Goods issue it is showing two seperate line for same material stock account credit in accounting document. but in the other Goods issue with reference to second PO it is showing only one line for inventory account credit in the accounting dcoument.
so pl. guide me on this.

Acessing my outlook calendar over web and if i have many entries for the same hour FF only shows up to 6 entries and IE shows them all...why?

When importing my address book from Outlook why do I have multiple entries for the same contact?

I have an address book and it contains one list in Outlook. I just downloaded Thunderbird and imported my address book. The address book and one list imported very easily but there are anywhere from 3-5 entries for each person in my contacts. If I delete the extras they are removed from my list as well. Why are there multiple listings for each contact and how can I remove the duplicates without losing my list entries?

Depends on where you saw them - If they were in the iPhoto library iPHoto has either two or three different versions (no duplicates) or each photos in its library - this is not optional and can not be changed -- If they were not in the iPhoto library then you can do what you please with them and they have nothing to do with iPhoto - iPhoto is only involved with the photos in its library

Very simple - if you do you will destroy your iPhoto library and have to start over losing all work you have done in iPhoto - The iPHoto library is a SQLite database and there are NO user servicable parts in the iPhoto library and any changes made using teh finder will corrupt the database and cause dataloss

Multiple entries for the same genre in iPod, but iTunes is fine

In the Genre list in my iPod, there are several copies of a few genres -- for example, there are like 4 or 5 "Dance" entries under Genres.
Each duplicate genre contains the same songs, and the total number of songs in my iPod matches iTunes. So why there are there multiple Genre entries, and how can I get rid of them?

A spelling or punctuation mistake, or sometimes a trailing space usually causes this after the artists and/or song/genre name, which fools the iPod into thinking that there are two different artists or songs/genres. The trailing space is the hardest to spot.
Best way to cure this is to go into iTunes, highlight that artist and/or songs, right click on them and select "get info".
This brings up the multiple song info window. If you see the "artist" field (or in your case, the genre field) is left blank, then there is a discrepancy with that name.
So to correct this, in the artist or song box retype the name, as you would like it, and then click ok. You should do this even if no mistakes are immediately visible.
Re sync this new artist/song info to your iPod.

You can just delete the ones you don't want from the document Library. Be careful though, that you do not delete the symbol(s) that are being used on the canvas.
It's hard to say how you got so many duplicates in the first place without knowing your workflow.
My guess is that you created a new symbol every time you added something to the canvas, but that is only a guess.

When I add a bookmark, I get hundreds of multiple entries for the same bookmark in the recently added bookmark folder and bookmark tab. Fix?

Adding a bookmark results in 100's of entries for that bookmark on the bookmark tab and in the recently added bookmark folder. The only way to remove them is to click and delete each separate entry? Any idea of what's going on or how to fix it? Thanks.

Note that it is always best to disconnect from Sync while performing maintenance to the places.sqlite file or otherwise do repairing efforts from within Firefox.

Duplicate entries for the same person

Using the facial squares in my organizer, I identified and entered all the people from my images into the people category. Upon completion I realized that I had two Marys (not her real name). How can I remove one of these and reenter them under the other entry for Mary?
