Multiplanning Area cannot be used

Hello gurus!
We migrated from BW3.5 to BI 7.0.  And we are testing in SANDBOX, we are using the transaction BPS0 for planning, but I have a problem with a Multiplanning area....I got this message: "Multiplanning area CMXSD003 cannot be used"
The message log says:
Multiplanning area CMXSD003 cannot be used
Message no. UPC223
Diagnosis
Key figure 0AMOUNT appears in several base planning areas and has different technical attributes there  (type, currency/unit of measure, aggregation). This case can then occur if the base planning areas refer to different RFC destinations. However key figures with the same name from different planning areas, can only be included in a multiplanning area, if they have the same technical attributes.
Procedure
Create characteristic 0AMOUNT in all affected systems with the same technical attributes.
I have 8 planning areas, and I don't use the key figure 0amount in 3 areas...But in the rest of the areas, the 0amount has the same technical attributes.
Besides, in BPS0 in 3.5 I can access to the multiplanning area without problem.
I need your help!!!!....any ideas???
thanks!!!

Hi,
After editing the Infocufe, Go to BPS0, and edit the basic planning area created on this cube and verify whether 0Quantity is present or not.
Check the multiplanning area, and see which are the other basic planning areas involved.
Check the other basic planning areas. Are the infocubes in another source system. If yes, then the definition of the keyfigure might be different in the different source systmes. That you need to verify. If not, edit the multiplanning area and try to continue with your operation.

  • Multiplanning area ZMSMELT cannot be used

    Hi Guru's
    Hoping someone can assist.
I modified a InfoCube  by removing key figures as well as time characteristics not being used, I have tested the changes on the BW side which seams 100%, but for some reason in Business planning get strange errors.
I have a few basis planning areas linked to the InfoCube  which I then use a few multi planning areas. The problem is after I changed the InfoCube , I now get the error message on all the multi planing areas containing the basis area linked to the modified InfoCube  about a certain key figure (in this case 0QUANTITY), the strange thing is, I do want to use that key figure, and therefore did not touch it when modifying the cube, so it is still part of the cube untouched and do exist.
The moment I remove the "problem" basis area from the multi, all seams to be fine, but off course I need to plan on that area.
I am not to sure what the error message relates to regarding "Technical Attributes", any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
    Herewith the detail error message

  • On my registered iTunes computer, the following message appears every time one plugs in a device and refuses to load said device to be synced: "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". They are all registered. Help

On my registered iTunes computer, the following message appears every time one plugs in a device and refuses to load said device to be synced: "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". Each device has been registered onto this account and this computer, and all have worked finely in the past. I am so confused as to why now seemingly without reason, none of our apple devices (one iPod, two iPhones) are allowed to have music and other material downloaded onto them. Also, as a side note, they still are charged by plugging them into the computer, however they do not even show up on the left-hand sidebar in iTunes.
It should also be noted that for my iPhone it does not allow for the new update software to be uploaded; it just says that an error has occurred, nothing more.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

  • Trying to back up iPad to external hard drive, "iTunes library file cannot be saved. The disk you are attempting to use is full."

This issue is somewhat complex so I will try to explain it as clearly as I can. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
It all began when I kept getting popups from my iPad saying that I had not backed up since May. I realized that was pretty dangerous so I decided to finally try syncing it to iTunes, though I had avoided doing so for so long because I knew that when I tried there was no room on the computer. I then remembered that I have an external hard drive with plenty of storage space, so I got that out and set it up with a folder to move iTunes and the backup into.
On iTunes I went to the Advanced Preferences and changed iTunes Media Folder Location to the G: folder, with the keep organized box checked. I also copied the previous backups from the original C: drive to G: so that I could delete the ones on C:.
I used Junction Link Magic to link my now empty MobileSync backup on C: to a new (JLM would not work unless it was empty) backup folder on external hard drive G:.
I plugged in my iPad to iTunes to sync it, and while it was backing up I checked the new folder on G: to make sure that the backup was being put there. It was.
However, about halfway through I got the message "iTunes library file cannot be saved. The disk you are attempting to use is full."
My question is Why? If it is being made in a 1.5 terabyte hard drive now, and not the computer, why is there no disk space? My guess is that it must still somehow be saving to the computer. But how? And how can I get it to save solely on the G: drive where there is enough room?
I am running Windows XP and the latest version of iTunes.
An additional but not as crucial issue:
Much of my music has been lost, with the being displayed next to the songs in the iTunes library, and only 50 (purchased) songs remain on my iPad. This was because those missing songs were stored on a different external hard drive ( I:). However, I copied many of the music folders on I: over to G: so that everything could be together. I am wondering if it is possible for me to get these songs back onto my iPad. But this is not my most important issue right now, because I believe that once I get the first issue solved I can simply plug in I: and G: at the same time while syncing the iPad, and get the songs back.
Note: I have come to realize the iTunes program itself is still under Program Files in the C: drive. Does this have to do with anything?

Short term, free up some disk space. Long term, move the library to a bigger drive.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing QuickTime again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

The problems I am having are: I cannot scroll using the side slider on downloaded PDF files, nor can I fill in fillable files. Also, and this is extremely irritating, I cannot re-initialize the same file or initialize and another PDF file after I have initialized the first file. If you cannot help please let me know if should use an earlier  version of Reader or find anther company that has the appropriate software.

Perhaps you missed that you started a discussion at I have OS 10.9.2 and have downloaded latest version of Reader 11. I can no longer fill in form or scroll using the side bar. and you did not respond to the last post there.

Hi i currently cannot swipe up to get to the control centre on my iphone 4. So am unable to swith the do not disturb off therefore are unable to use my phone

Do not disturb is also accesible in settings, so you may be able to temporarily avoid the issue by allowing calls from everyone and having it only silent while locked, or perhaps secheduling might work. Other than that, restarting your device may be an option.
Is there any reason you know of that might be making you unable to access control center?

  • ITunes error message: "The iTunes library file cannot be saved. You have exceeded your storage quota on the disk you are attempting to use." What do I do?

I recently started receiving the following iTunes error message when I attempt to update the software on my iPad or iPhone: "The iTunes library file cannot be saved. You have exceeded your storage quota on the disk you are attempting to use."
Any ideas what I need to do? The software won't update on my iPad, and I need to update through iTunes, as my iPad does not have enough free space to use the OTA service.

You need to free up space on your boot drive.
(I am going to ask the mods move this to the MacBook Pro forum.)

  • My bookmarks are gone, I can not create new bookmarks, I cannot navigate using the back button

I am running Mac OSX 10.5.8 and Firefox 3.6.13. Yesterday, after I had been on the internet multiple times, I opened Firefox and my Booksmarks toolbar and navigation toolbar were both empty. My booksmarks don't exist when I open the Organize Bookmarks window. My history is also gone. I cannot navigate using the backbutton. I restarted Firefox and there was no change; restarted my MacBook had no effect. I searched for similar problems and tried opening Tools > Add Ons> Extensions, but there is nothing on that screen, and the 'Find updates' button can not be clicked. It is not keeping me logged into pages that I have been previously logged into, but it does remember passwords. If there are other problems, I have not encountered them yet.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Trying to back up iPad to NAS, "iTunes library file cannot be saved. The disk you are attempting to use is full." I already changed my iTunes settings which now points to my NAS. In ~/Library/Application Solution/MobileSync/Backup I created an Alias which points to the NAS. What else can I do to backup my iPad to my computer? I'm a newbie on OSX but have lots of experience on Windows systems. I always believed Apple OSX is easy to handle but iTunes seems to has it's own "will".

No suggestions? I'm wondering and a bit disappointed that no one has comments to this. Is it so difficult with OSX? Comments appreciated.
