Multiple 3 D lines in one plot

Hi!
I want to rotate 3D lines in one picture.
For this i want to draw about 1000 lines which i can rotate speratly.
How can i draw sperate lines in one picture?
For rotation I change the start end the end values from the lines.
but how can i change the line from solid tho piont and backwards?
or is there an other way`?
thany you
hannes

I am wondering why you don´t use the 3D-Graph? The 3D Graph has a rotation-functionality built in, and you can plot multiple 3D-lines in it.
Here you can find some examples:

Hope this helps!

  • How do i plot with the operating system time in one plot and show lines between cursors in another using the same XY graph?

I am having some trouble graphing two plots at once. One plot is to show the current temperature inside a chamber as a function of time. I am trying to pick the current time and temperature each second and plot it with each point being connected by a line. I am able to show a moving, blinking dot each second but I can't figure out how to develop an actual line with these dots. To make matters worse, the blinking dot is back in the year 1903. I understand that it uses seconds elapsed since 1903, and am trying to find out how to graph the current temperature with the system time.
The second plot is just 5 moveable cursors that are to be connected by a line. I am able to move the cursors and retrieve the position information, but I can't make a line between them.
I have attached my main .vi, though you may have to pick the graphing part off to have it work for you.

You're not creating the XY graph data correctly. I've attached an example with a couple of simple XY Graphs. One is using a couple of shift registers to hold the spearate x and y arrays. I think this is what you were trying to do. The other one uses a VI from the shipping examples called XY Chart. It makes an XY Grpah act like a chart. I've also shown the correct way to display current time.Message Edited by Dennis Knutson on 05-12-2005 03:51 PM

  • Concatenate multiple lines into one

    Post Author: [email protected]
    CA Forum: General
Hi,I'm trying to pull data out of one table that could have multiple lines (indicated by a line count field for each row).  The user wants to see all lines in one field only.  I tried the following but am running into issues if there's only one row (one line count). With this, the single row is concatenated with itself. //@groupheader-initilizewhileprintingrecords;stringvar x:=""//@detailwhileprintingrecords;stringvar x:=x+ //@groupfooterwhileprintingrecords;stringvar x Any ideas appreciated.  Thanks!

Take the initialize formula out of the Group Header.
Place it an the Report Header, and create a second (print suppressed) Group Footer and place it there

  • MRP creating multiple delivery schedule lines in PR

    Hi,
We have activated MRP (type PD) where Purchase requiesition is auto created by system for requirement quantity. We require to optimize delivery schedule in such a way that entire PR quantity is broken into various delivery schedule based on planned delivery time and requirement.  Scenario can be further explained with following example.
Material Requirement for a month is say 1,25,000 units
    Closing Stock say 25,000 units
PR Generated by system for 1,00,000 units. The entire quantity is schdulled with only one delivery schedule line as per planned delivery time.
The requirement is to generate multiple delivery schedule lines automatically in Purchase requisition based on planned delivery time so that Purchase orders can be placed with system generated delivery schedule lines.
How can it be achieved ?
    Regards,
    Nirav Kinkhabwala

    Dear
Are you dealing with Single vendor  where you want Multiple Schedule Line item through single PR  which should be generated through MRP run ??
What you will have to do is to set up the Outline Agreement or Info Record for your vendor and material and then create the source record for this vendor- material relationship and make sure that this source record is set as MRP relevant. Once MRP is run, the vendor is automatically defaulted to your PRs. If in your material master, you have defined the same purchasing group for various material numbers, then with Transaction ME59, it is feasible that you can combine various PRs of the same purchasing group by flagging onto the 'Per Purchasing Group' indicator checkbox. Make a trial test and let me know how it goes.
Or you can use Qouta arrabgement in that case for different vendor .Please refer : Multiple Requisition  line itme for Quota arrangement
    Just check and revert

  • Multiple BPEL Process Managers in one environment?

    Hi,
I'm quite new to the Oracle SOA product line, so please be gentle when my question doesn't make sense.
I’m in the process of designing a new enterprise architecture based on service orientation. I’m looking at the Oracle SOA Suite software to get a better understanding of what things will look like when getting to the actual implementation.
Some internal projects are moving fast, so I’m trying to get an understanding on how things will work out in the future. One case has my current attention, related to the BPEL Process Manager.
A 3rd party vender is offering a specific solution which is using or based on the BPEL Process Manager. This solution can be purchased as a black-box. From the perspective of my new architecture I would like to purchase the SOA suite as a whole. New developments will most likely be using the BPEL Process Manager for orchestration. But when purchasing the black-box application, the environment will be extended with an extra BPEL Process Manager. My first thought is to try and incorporate the BPEL processes from the 3rd party vendor onto one single BPEL Process Manager. But I also think two BPEL Process Managers can have advantages.
I’m not sure how to go forward with this. How should I handle this? Is it common to have multiple BPEL Process Managers in one environment or should I pursue maximum integration and only go for one BPEL Process Manager?

    Hi,
We have similar situation at my current client site and we are going with two seperate BPEL PM installs for various reasons. One of the main driver in our case is conflicting in timelines of two seperate projects.
But my suggestion is to go with single enterprise install if that's not breaking the 3rd-party vendor supporting contracts. This has obviously benefits of redecued infrastructure/administrative and other related costs. How many processes does the vendor has as part of their solution? If they are handful you know it doesn't justify having seperate environments.
On the otherhand having two seperate installs isn't bad either depending on how big or small your SOA service/process orchestration footprint is. We don't have complete handle on the performance/scalability aspects of BPEL PM based on number of processes deployed. But as you can see that may be one of drivers to have redundancy in BPEL PM servers.
End of the day there is no clear cut answer. If you have funding and resources, go with two seperate instances. But from architectural perspective better to have single install with clustering for better performance/scalability.

  • Converting multiple points to line

    Hi All
I have table consist of point data.. how to convert multiple points to line data.. if anyknows pls tell me ..
    Thak you

    user13340372,
. . . .Are you trying to draw a line between 2 points or draw a line connecting N points?
How to Create a Line From 2 Points_
. . . .You could use the SDO_Geometry constructor. For example, if you have a table POINTS defined as (ID NUMBER, FromPt SDO_GEOMETRY, ToPt SDO_GEOMETRY), then you could:
    SELECT
        SDO_GEOMETRY(
        'LINESTRING ('||
        -- concatenate coordinates from FromPt
        REPLACE(REPLACE(p.FromPt.Get_WKT(), 'POINT (', NULL), ')', NULL)||','||
        -- concatenate coordinates from ToPt
        REPLACE(REPLACE(p.ToPt.Get_WKT(), 'POINT (', NULL), ')', NULL)||')'
        ---  SRID
        , 4326)
    FROM
        POINTS p;
How to Create a Line From N Points_
. . . .In a "connect-the-dots" puzzle, you draw lines from one numbered point to the next numbered point. There, the numbers define how points are related. If you dont have that information, then you need to decide how you want your points connected. Here are a few options - your requirements should indicate which (if any) is suitable:
. . . .(a) Draw Arbitrary Linestring Through Points: user10278189 already posted that PL/SQL solution (above).
. . . .(b) Connect Nearest Neigbors: set CURRENT_POINT to a point (e.g., bottom-left). Then identify its nearest-neighbor (hereinafter, "NextPoint") using SDO_NN. Flag NextPoint as "visited" and set CURRENT_POINT to NextPoint. Repeat until all points in the point-set are flagged as "visited." The result ( which depends on the starting point ) is a linestring connecting all points (a "line" is only between 2 points; a linestring is between 2 or more points). This requires PL/SQL.
. . . .(c) Draw Along Shortest Distances: Create a table containing: FromPt_ID, toPt_ID and distances between each pair of points. (If you do this via a cross product, remove rows where FromPt_ID = ToPt_ID.) Begin connecting the points with the minimum distance from the last "visited" point (as before, flag the points that have been used as "visited"). The result of this operation is the shortest linestring connecting your point-set. This requires PL/SQL.
. . . .(d) Outline Set of Points: You could also use the SDO_GEOM.Sdo_ConvexHull function to create polygon that encloses your point set, and then use SDO_UTIL.PolygonToLine to turn that area-geometry into a line-geometry. This can probably be done in a single statement.
    . . . .(e) Others (TSP, spanning tree, etc).

    Noel

    Hello Carlos,
the help window for a waveform graph/chart only mentions "single plot

  • How to see my code drawing a line from one point to another

hi, im wondering if you could help me.
i am working on my project which is to visualise travelling salesman heuristics.
i have managed to make my first heuristic work, but my problem is that when i clicked the run button on my GUI,
the output is already a complete tour with all the edges already drawn, but what i want is to see how it solves or draw the lines from one vertex to another just by clickin the run button once.
would be great if you could advice me of what method or technique i need to use to see my application solving the tour or drawing the edges.

and as per that it should generate a sales order.i need to put schedule line automatically not mannually one by one for each date.so wat is the settingand how to reffer this scheduling agreement we can produce sales order.

    Dear Subrat,
you cannot create a yearly schedule line in the scheduling agreement. It is not possible due to format restrictions of the date field. But what you can do is the follows (it is the modification, but it should work with the help of user-exits):
    1. You can split the year schedule line to the monthly schedule lines. There are two ways to do it. If you apply the DELINS IDOC, then you can do it already during transfer of the data to the application (itr is the best way). Here you can use, for example, user-exit USEREXIT_ZUORDNEN_IDOCS (include LVED4FZZ) or customer function EXIT_SAPLVED4_002, called from the subroutine USEREXIT_DYNPRO (Include LVED4F0U). Alternatively, you can use the user-exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP (Include MV45AFZZ) within the call transaction, then it will work also in the dialog case.
    2. After getting the monthly schedule lines, you can create a planning delivery schedule, where you can split mothly schedule lines automatically to daily schedule lines according to the customer factory calender. The settings for generation of planning delivery schedules can be found under:
Customizing SPRO: Sales and Distribution => Sales => Sales Documents => Scheduling Agreements with Delivery schedules => Maintain Planning Delivery Sched. Instruct./Splitting Rules
It is the only ways, how you can reach your aim. I hope, this information will help you further.

  • Multiple CSV exports from the one button or pl/sql procedure?

I need to have multiple csv exports from the one press of a button. The easiest way I found to do this is it to use javascript to popup three windows, each as a CSV link. This is a bit ugly though, and leaves the browser popup windows open when the file has been downloaded.
I guess I could also make a solution based on branching, but I think that would be difficult to maintain and reeks of bad design (im not a fan of this spagetti GOTO style code!).
I implemented Scott's custom CSV as found here: http://spendolini.blogspot.com/2006/04/custom-export-to-csv.html
However I would like to know if its possible to download more than one file using this method. I could not work out how to do this .
Has anyone got any ideas? Simply repeating the code puts the second table into the original csv file. Is there a way to 'reset' the htp writer or smoething?
    Any help greatly appreciated,
    Alex

Sorry for the confusion - I guess I mean its easy in .NET because you can simply compress files together and then send 1 zip file down as the response. See http://www.developer.com/net/net/article.php/11087_3510026_2 for details.
I guess I could ask how to do this in APEX - but it seems to me that my original wording addresses the concept at a much more abstract level. I may not find the best solution for my problem if I just asked 'how can I dynamically zip together three tables as seperate files and send them to the client?'. I also suspect that this method is not possible in APEX without custom packages. Please prove me wrong!
I guess even if I could find some kind of javascript that didnt open a new window, but was a direct download to the CSV, that would be a good compromise. At the moment when you click on the link, three windows come up and stay blank until the files are ready for downloading. Then after the files have been downloaded the windows must be shut manually. Yes, I could use javascript to make the windows 1x1 pixel perhaps, and then shut them after a predetermined timeframe - but this is hardly an elegant solution!
    Thanks for your responses.

  • Line width on plot and on plot legend not matching

    Hello,
I wrote a program that "highlights" (changes the linewidth to 4) one of two plots using a boolean switch.  However, the corresponding linewidth in the legend does not always show the same width as the plots value.  For example, if plot 0 is thick, and its legend is thick, and plot 1 and its legend are thin, then I select plot 1 to become the highlighted one, plot 1 in the graph will become thick, but either its legend will not become thick, or plot 0s will remain thick, while plot 0 on the actual graph will be switched to thin.
Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

    Hi  M.Bobby,
I can see the same behavior on my machine as well. This was reported to R&D (238303 CAR ID) for further investigation. R&D is currently investigating this issue. A possible workaround is to hover over the legend to make it update.  We are sorry for the inconvenience, and appreciate your feedback!
