Multiple access codes in single uc cluster

Dears,
I have a customer will migrade from Nortel to Cisco.
Nortel PBX has internal access codes between sites. If site A need to call site B should dail access code + Internal extenstion.
We will install one cisco UC cluster v9.1 and they need to use the same access code and extesions.
Please advise.

I have only one Custer and all phones registered to the same uc cluster no Trunks no Gateways.
In Nortel the Design is Distributed soo there are access codes between sites but in cisco its centralized all phones registered to the same cluster.
Is there any posibility to use access codes between internal phones registed on the same cucm server.

I have received a request from my business colleagues to investigate the possibility of posting multiple tax codes against a single line order in MIRO.
This apparently can be a possibility for such things as training.
I have searched a number of forums and tried and tested different ways in my develoment client but am unable to find a solution. admittedly I am no real expert in this area and would be gratefu;lt of any ideas / assistance / etc..

HI, There is a possible solution for this scenario.
1. Create 2 tax codes for VAT and SERVICE Tax at 12.5% and 12.36% respectively
2. While posting the Invoice (TRX - FB60) following steps need to be followed.
3. Amount has to be split into two line items
4. Ist Line Item should have the Vat amount + 70000/- and select relevant tax code that was
    created for 12.5%
5. Similarly 2nd Line Item should have Service Tax amount + 30000/- and select relevant tax code that
    was created for 12.36%.
Hope this would meet your requirement. If the solution is okay, kindly indicate the points.

Multiple databases in one single RAC cluster

Hi, I would like to know if one can have multiple databases running on a single RAC cluster, we have several databases in our shop and would like to consolidate all of them into a single 3-4 node RAC cluster running databases with 10.2 and 11.1 versions.
I am newbie to RAC and would like to get some clarification if anyone has done this, google search comes up with few hits on this topic, so obviously this is not doable.
In our case we have one database supporting critical applications and few other not so critical but are used very extensively between 9-5, so what is the use of RAC if I cannot consolidate all my databases into one cluster, or if I need a separate cluster for each of these critical databases?
I have been all the Oracle docs that keep repeating one database multiple instances and one instance-one machine-one node, they don't even advise running multiple instances on a single node?.
I appreciate any insight.

So instead of using (for example) 60% of that server's memory as the SGA for a single instance, if you use 2 instances on that server you now have to reduce the SGA of each to 30% of system memory. Effectively crippling those instances by 50% - they will now have smaller buffer caches, require more physical I/O and be more limited in what they can do.
So unless you have very sound technical reasons for running more than one instance on a server (RAC or non-RAC), do not.

Transfer of Open PO's from multiple co codes to single co code- possible ?

Hi MM Experts,
I have a scenario where we want to transfer some Open PO's(Including MIGO/MIRO transactions) from company code say 5001, 5006 and 5007 to snother company code say 5999.
Is it possible to do so?
Has someone comemacross this kind of a requireemnt ?

u will have to shot close all such POs and create new PO in required company code

Multiple access to a single library

Hi Can anyone help me?
I have one pc at home with with separate windows user accounts for my kids. We have an ipod shuffle each with all of our music stored in the library under my user account. How do I make the library available to them to use under thier logins. At the moment when they login on their accounts and launch itunes it asks them to sync with a new library.

If a PO line is created with amount :Rs.10000.
Is it possible to apply Tax Code 'X' on 90% of the amount and Tax Code 'Y' on rest 10% of the amount?

SAP STD system will not allow multiple tax codes for Single line item of Purchase order - Split the material into multiple line items and do enter the tax code respectively according to your requirement

Can I get multiple sums in a single column based on a "code" I place.

After importing a file of check/debit card activity from my bank, can I 'code' the line items based on tax categories ie Utilities, Medical expenses, Auto expenses, etc. and then get sums for each based on that code I placed in a single column? That would mean multiple sums in a single column based on the code used for each tax related expense. For instance, I would put UT in the column for utilities expenses and MED in the same column if it were a medical expense. I would then want the sum for all items in that column for each item code. Is this possible or do I need to use a different approach to get this information.

My guess is that the SUMIF function may be your friend.

Multiple corporate Directories on a single Callmanager cluster

Hi,
I just want to ask if it is possible to setup and use multiple corporate directories on an IP phone. We are using CUCM 8.6 and 6945 IP Phones. We would like to setup telephony services for different companies on a single cucm cluster and want the users with their IP Phones to only see and use their own Corporate Directoy.
If this is possible, can someone explain how?
I only know that there is the directory URL in Enterprise Services Setup in CUCM. But this points to have just one diretory, right?

You need to build your own custom directories and host them on an external web server, then register them as ip phone services in CUCM, and subscribe the phones you want to use them.

How to upload multiple company codes data for single vendor by LSMW Idoc

uploading data by LSMW Idoc method
In source file we have two company codes data for single vendor.
It should create vendor for two company codes.
But its not creating its showing error.
How to handle this?

You can use the recording function to create a new object (or a new "import method") if neither a standard batch input program nor a standard direct input program nor the BAPI/IDoc method is available for a data object.
Recordings are static, thats why you cannot do such flexible things like multiple company codes at the same time.
But with IDOC method it is certainly possible, I have done it several times already.
Unfortunatly the creator of this thread did not say what error he got with the IDOC method. Maybe he will add this. Otherwise I dont think that anybody can help

Multiple ud code appearing for single purpose?

When i am doing usage decision for goods receipt, multiple UD code are appearing, with any code also UD is happening - for example - with A 01 also and YB01 01 also, can you please suggest me is there any different purpose for these codes and how do i enable a single code.

if u want some specific ud codes should appear while taking ud
create selected in set in qs51 for that plant.
as said in above thread go to Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain Inspection Types > Detail of each inspection type -in selected set enter this newly created selected set and set indicator 'Selected set in same plant'.
only those codes will appear now

Single depreciation run for multiple company codes

Hi experts,
How can I carry out a depreciation run for multiple company codes in one transaction? I thought about creating a variant and running a batch job but you can only select the run for one company code at a time. Am I missing something here. Kindly provide explanation of how this can be done.

Currency setting in multiple company code.

Dear all,
we are having 3 company codes in one client.
and we have to set the Currency setting for multiple company codes.

it is not allowing us to set the values at a same time for different company codes by different users
it says " DATA LOCKED BY OTHER USER, ONLY DISPLAY MODE."

Ask for access to delete lock entries. If access is provided, use T code sm12 to delete the lock entries.
@ Irfan you cannot do that. Only one user can use a table at a time.
It is like using an ATM. Only one person can withdraw money at a time.

Any way to pass Multiple Values for a single Label in the Parameter?

I have a Report that Contains 2 Parameters, @Customer & @Area. When trying to set up the Available Values for @Area, I'm having issues using multiple values for one Label, i.e. = "4006" Or "4610"
One of the Filters in the Report is an Operation number, which is the [OPERATION] field, which is setup as a filter on the Tablix referencing the @Area parameter.
PROBLEM: I cannot retrieve any data when trying to use the ‘Or’ Operator here. If I simply put “4006” or “4610” I retrieve data, but when trying to combine it returns no data.
Example, I need to allow a user to select ‘Chassis Incoming’, which would include data from Operations 4006 & 4610.
QUESTION:
Any way to pass Multiple Values for a single Label in the Parameter?
I realize the typical solution may be to use ‘Multi-Value’ selection, but in this case we want the User to select the Area and the multiple values for Filtering will be automatically determined for them. Otherwise, they are subject to not getting

I want to display multiple values in a single cell, each value separated by comma.
Ex: I have Employee and Department.
If a employee works for many departments, all the Department names should be displayed in the same cell in the report.
Please help !

In the report there should be 1 row for Employee 001 with all the Departments displayed in the same cell separated by commas.
