My boyfriend just got an iPhone 4S yesterday, and I set him up an iTunes account. However this is all being done on my computer, since he doesn't have one. How can I download songs to his iPhone from CD's on my computer so they will go directly to his phone? Help with this ASAP, and thank you very much.

He doesn't have a playlist showing up on his account. It keeps showing my library for my iPod, and when I check some of the songs to put from my library to sync to his phone, nothing is going on. No music is transferring to his iPhone...arrrrrrghhhhhh!!

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

Yes you can, you just need to go into settings and into icloud, once it says account, login to your desired account

We bought our son a used iPhone 4s almost 2 years ago. It was recently lost, but we were lucky enough to get it back. As a precaution in case it's lost or stolen again I'm trying to activate find my iPhone, but it tells me I have to have iCloud. But iCloud keeps telling me I have reached the maximum number of free accounts for this device. We have never had an iCloud account, so I'm assuming it was from the original owner. I have no way of contacting this person anymore because their eBay account is no longer active. The phone was factory reset when we bought it, and we reset it again today trying to see if that would fix it, but he lost all his stuff for nothing. We also updated the software. Is there anything we can do about this? Or at least maybe a different app that can track a phone that doesn't require iCloud? I don't know anything about Apple devices. Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Apple community.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

How can I open another iCloud account for each devices with the same apple id

my family has 2 iPhones 1 iPad 1 Macbook and 1 iMac. I had all the devices set up with one iCloud under 1 Apple ID. Now things are getting so mixed up with pictures, videos, calendar, notes and reminders etc. 1 iPhone is also unable to sync due to not having enough storage for all our devices. Someone from Genius Bar said we can have iCloud for each device under 1 Apple ID. I backed up all pics. videos notes important docs to my iMac and MacBook then I turned off all iCloud in all of the devices now I need help to create a new iCloud account at least for my 3 mobile devices to end all the confusion. every time I try to click the button "set up iCloud on this device" I always go back to apple site with step by step by step instruction but I keep going around in a loop. I'm not sure what they told your at the Apple store, but each Apple ID can only create a single iCloud account. If you want separate accounts for all these devices, they will have to be created using separate IDs. Note: you can do this and still share the same ID for other services such as your iTunes store account. The iCloud ID does not need to be the same as the ID used for other services.
To create an account, go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with a different Apple ID. If you want to migrate a copy of the current iCloud data to the different accounts, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the devices keeping the current account will not be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.

Hey, I manage multiple iPads here at my school and had a question about iTunes backup. We want to have multiple backups from the past for each device so that we can restore the device from an old backup if something goes wrong. We have over 180 iPads so I need something quick and automated. Any ideas?
We are also using a Mac Server if that helps any.

For different valuation types, you can have different valuation classes and in turn can have different G/L accounts.

ESSO-LM multiple accounts for Lotus Notes 7

My customer want to use ESSO-LM 11g for Lotus Notes 7.
The customer have some people who have multiple account in Lotus Notes 7.
I checked the pre-defined application template for Lotus Notes in ESSO-LM,
The application templates defined only password field.
I think that the ESSO-LM require the username field for specify the account
from multiple accounts.
Is it possible to use Lotus Notes 7 with multiple account by ESSO-LM?

Can multiple accounts for the same vendor be bookmarked?

I have home and office accounts for certain vendors (utilities, etc) and have tried bookmarking them under "On Line Accounts." However, I am not able to do so. When I enter one for home with, say, dteenergy.com (same problem with others like AT&T), that account works fine. When I try to enter the dteenergy account information for home, that works fine. However, when the second account is entered it replaces the first account.
I have not tried it, but I could try creating a second on line account, and will do so after I finish this inquiry. However, I had hoped to get everything into a single folder on the bookmark bar.

There are many ways of saving a bookmark, most don't permit the same exact page to be saved as a bookmark more than once - that's a feature in Firefox 3+ versions. If you "drag" the web site image ''(known as the Favicon)'' from the Location bar or from a Tab into your bookmarks, you can get around that "feature". You can "drag&drop" the Favicon into the Bookmarks Toolbar (can be tricky at times), or to the Bookmarks menu item on the Menu bar - the drop-down will open, or into the Bookmarks Sidebar (the method I use) - {Ctrl + B} to open the Bookmarks Sidebar

You could set up separate accounts on your devices, but the iCloud data will not be synced between your devices any more. In other words, the accounts will not sync with each other.

Unfortunately you can't do the logical and convenient thing of authorizing a computer with multiple Adobe IDs that are active simultaneously.
You can authorize accounts from different vendors; one account per vendor.
If you have multiple operating system users set up on the computer, you can register different OS users as different Adobe Account users.

you shouldn't have to install itunes in her account. she should have it already in her account if it has been installed on yours.

Adding BIS accounts for a device linked to BES Exchange server

Please could somone guide me in terms of how to add BIS accounts and a BES account to the same device.
The handset I am using is a Curve 8520 running OS5.0.0.592. I upgraded the OS from 4.6 to 5 today.
I have been using this handset for a long time, running purely on BES with a single email account.
Now i need to have other email accounts link to the same handset so that I can stay up to date with the various accounts I manage. I upgraded to OS5 hoping that I would find the function to add other accounts.
The phone only allows me to link to 1 single exchange server. Under Email Settings there are no options to add second or third BIS accounts! I have also looked for the 'personal mail' folder or icon, but this icon has never been on this handset. I have read that some people have done this and managed to have BIS accounts and a BES account running simultaneoously, but I cannot find how to do this.
Please could someone advise on how to do this.

I have this problem too. The only thing I am guessing is that the domain name of my email is also a domain name I use to adminstrate a website. When mail goes looking for a server it finds a localhost server with promising looking credentials.
