Multiple Activity Codes lost after upgrade?

We just upgraded UCCX from 8.5.1 su3 to CUCM to 9.1(1a)
In UCCX 8.5.1 CAD we could select multiple Activity codes by holding down the CTRL key, since our upgrade we are not able to do so.
It seems that we have lost functionality, is there any way to turn this functionality back on?
Thank you

FYI: TAC let me know that Cisco removed the functionality of selecting multiple Close Codes from the new version, Disapointing for us, to have Cisco remove a function that we used....
I have let our Cisco Team know our disproval......

  • Multiple kernel panic errors after upgrading to snow leopard 10.6.8 on my MacBook Pro.

After upgrading to 10.6.8, I almost immediately began experiencing multiple random kernel panic errors.  I reinstalled the operating system that came with my notebook from the cd (10.6?) and the problem went away.  I upgraded again to 10.6.8 and again began experiencing the same error.  I have since gone back and installed the operating syatem from the cd and then upgraded to 10.6.7.  I have not had a single kernel panic error since, but I would like to upgrade to 10.6.8 so that I can install Lion when it is avaialable.  Any thoughts as to how I can do this without experiencing all of the accompanying kernel panic errors?

Thank you.  The log is below:

  • How can I recover all my MAIL emails lost after upgrading to TIGER?

    Hello,
I just bought Mac OSX Tiger today and after upgrading from the previous Mac OSX and after launching Mail, I discovered that all my INBOX emails were LOST!!!
I still have the Draft emails, the Sent emails and Trash but no trace of my 1,425 ancient and precious INBOX emails!
Please help me recover them. I tried lots of ways to get them back but cannot find them. I'd like to also understand what happened.
    Thank you!

HI Greta, Did you Clean Install Tiger, or Upgrade from a previous OS? as if the latter, you might find them in the ARchived files.
I upgraded to Tiger in December and it caused problems with mail but I didnt lose the messages. So I am thinking you did a clean install.
Post back with more info please

  • GMAIL Lost after upgrade to IOS 8.3

I have lost access to my GMAIL accounts after upgrading to IOS 8.3 !
IOS Settings does not provide me a way to enter a new application password for the account - there is NO PASSWORD box displayed anywhere in the GMAIL configuration. So I tried deleting the account and re-adding it but i get stuck in an endless loop of two-step confirmation and it "appears" to add the account (prompts me for which features - mail, notes, calendar, etc.) but then when all is said and done NO GMAIL ACCOUNT shows up in my list of accounts.  WTH?
And trying to navigate Apple's support screens has become an exercise in frustration and futility!
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this mess?

Just wanted to add to this thread.  I found out that this might be related to using the iCloud Keychain on iOS and with a computer using Mac OS X.  Due to how iCloud Keychain stores all passwords across all synced devices, which can be both iOS devices and Mac OS X computers, the methods for accessing and updating those passwords has changed.  Not sure whether this is intentional by Apple or not, but it seems that the ability to update passwords stored in iCloud Keychain is not something you can do through iOS (or at least, I have not been able to find a way to access the keychain and view/update any of the passwords stored there).
If you have a computer set up to use iCloud Keychain, you can use the Keychain.app to view/modify any passwords that are stored there, which "should" update the passwords stored on the iOS device, if that keychain item is actually synced to the iCloud Keychain. (Tested this and confirmed)
The problem appears to arise specifically if you only have one iOS device (or only have iOS devices) using iCloud Keychain.  The option to update passwords seems to be missing.  Not sure it this is new to 8.3, but this is the first time I have run into this problem, and cannot seem to find any reports detailing this problem anywhere else.  In fact, to a greater degree, most articles/sites that discuss the iCloud Keychain only refer to the usernames and passwords stored by Safari, which are not the only passwords and information stored by the iCloud Keychain.  This issue being a prime example.
I did notice that when re-adding my gmail account using my iPhone, the login page was actually just a webkit presentation of the gmail login page (webkit being the underpinnings of Safari, used for displaying HTML, but not actually the full app or Safari), which is where I entered my username and password, which I am assuming is now stored in my iCloud Keychain.  I even checked in Settings>Safari>Passwords&Autofill>Saved Passwords, and my gmail username and password are NOT listed there, so iCloud Keychain is storing some items somewhere else, which is not accessible by the end user through the UI.

  • System exception code 0xc0000005 after upgrading to LabVIEW 8.2

After upgrading to LabVIEW 8.2 from LabVIEW 8.0 I am continously getting a system reboot on my PXI (8187) when attempting to run my real time loops which worked fine with LabVIEW 8.0.  The loops seem to start, and within less than a 30 seconds the system reboots.  Upon reboot a message is displayed reboot due to system error.  After running and getting this error again the system reboots into safe mode.  Looking at the nirtlog file on the PXI, there is system crash log which list the exception code as 0xC0000005 and a listing of loaded dlls.
Does anyone have any idea what may be leading to this?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

The following is a simple example that produces the exception and reboots the PXI.  This VI was originally created on a machine with LabVIEW version 8.0 and run on a PXI-8187 w/ RealTime version 8 and it ran without issue.  I then took the VI to a machine running LabVIEW 8.2, I opened the VI, which compiled it to version 8.2, and ran it on another PXI-8187 w/ RealTime version 8.2 and I got a system exception and the PXI rebooted.  If I run the two loops at the same priority level, it seems to run without issue.  Also if I run with the loops at different priority levels and place a check in the Discard Missed Periods and in the Maintain Original Phase of the lower priority loop, it seems to run fine as well.  However if I uncheck either the Discard Missed Periods or the Maintain Original Phase (as is set in the attached VI) the exception will occur.  Any thoughts on what is going on, am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

  • Activation Code - Elements 6 Upgrade

I am getting an invalid serial number when I try to login to upgrade my Photoshop Elements 6 to the more recent version.  I am on Mac OS 10.10.1.  I see from past posts there have been issues previously with activation codes on Mac.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Are you talking about a redemption code or a serial number?

  • All data lost after upgrading

I lost all data after upgrading my iPhone 3G to iOS4. I was able to recover only the information that syncs with mobileme, everything else was gone, in all apps: bank accounts, passwords, notes, games, settings, etc -everything
I already restored and restarted, even used time machine, nothing seems to work. Any help?

I am trying to update to the newest software, and get a warning that i need to save/transfer new purchases to my library. I know the last time i did this update i went with continue, and as the others in the posting have indicated lost information. It didnt matter to me at that time, but now that I have more info to lose, i dont want to do it, so the other option on it is to do as it asks. But, I am having a hard time doing that. I have done what they have asked by going to file and transferring, but, it doesnt seem to be working. As i continue to get the same warning. I am not going to update this till i get the answer to do it properly this time. But, want to know why it doesnt want to transfer the info that it requires, for me to continue on. I think this is why the others in the thread are losing their info.

Attached documents lost in iCal after upgrade to iCal 4.0.4; I used to scan documents (written invitations etc.) and attach them to the iCal event. Can I restore them or are they lost forever?

I have exactly the same problem. Came to add a scanned letter to an appointment, and found a) there's nowhere to put it and b) my appointments with similar attached files are now file-less. Where are they? Anyone know?

  • Problem activating iphone 4 after upgrading to iOS 5

I have purchased an iphone 4 which is factory unlocked in Malaysia. I upgraded the phone to IOS 5 from the US Store since I live in USA and frequently travel to Asia. After upgrading the phone it worked with both a Malaysian Sim Card and a Thai Sim Card. I then purchased an iphone 4S and am able to use it everywhere as it is also unlocked. When I erased the iphone 4 and reset it, it will not let me activate the phone with either the original sim card or any other sim cards. Why? How do I correct this problem?

Did you check your security software settings? eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

  • Airport connections lost after upgrade to Snow Leopard

After upgrading to Snow Leopard, I am no longer able to connect to the Internet wirelessly.  I have had to resort to connect via wired connection.  I have tried to reconfigure the connection.  It finds my wireless network, but when I type in my password it says it is not correct.  I know it is an issue with Snow Leopard as it worked fine prior to the upgrade and my other devices connect with no problem.

Go into Displays Preferences and, if you haven't already done so previously, put a checkmark in the box for "Show displays in menu bar". Then, click on the resulting icon that shows up in the menu bar to drop the menu and select "Number of Recent Items" and set it to 10. Now drop the menu a second time and see if there are two 1920 x 1080 resolutions. If so, one of them may be the older one previously in use that was working.

  • Room directory overview lost after upgrade to stack 12

    Hi,
after upgrading to stack 12 I can't see the created rooms anymore.
Under collaboration > room directoy I see that there are 5 rooms cause there are 5 lines but the room names I can't see anymore.
Consequently I can't access the rooms anymore.
What's going wrong? Can anybody help me?
    Thanks
    Susanne

    Hi Gilles,
thanks, the note solved a part of the problems.
Now I can see the rooms in the directory and I can create new one. But if I access into an old room I see only empty content and an empty navigation panel.
New created rooms have no problems. Do you have the same
    problem?
Also I can't delete the test rooms again.

Since then, I notice multiple apps crash when attempting to open them. So far, I've noticed this includes Safari (nightly Webkit works fine), Mail, and Software Update. I cannot open any of these programs. I have no idea why this is happening, any advice and help is greatly appreciated!
Here is the error log from Mail as an example, I can provide the others as well:

Nevermind, found multiple instances of this on the web after Time Machine restores. It seems to be a problem with the restore process. I reinstalled 10.6 and everything is normal again.

  • Boot camp lost after upgrading to Yosemite from mountain lion

I lost my windows7 boot camp after I upgrade to Yosemite from mountain lion. When I press ALT when rebooting there is no more alternative to boot for window anymore. I did read some thread about this but my case is different since when I tried to type 3 steps(diskutil.......etc)  as LonerT user answers it did not work. The attached files here are what I faced with. Please help. I have a lot of important files in windows

If you look at the GAP between GPT3 and GPT4 it is start/size of 782929176/37595880 but the NTFS header starts at 782929920 according to your Testdisk output shown here.
    MS Data                782929920  976773112  193843193
The difference is 782929920 - 782929176 = 744 bytes. You will need to delete the current GPT4 and recreate a new GPT4. Please stop if you see any error messages and post here.
    1. Delete the old entry and create a new entry at GPT#4.

    2. This is a tedious process and you want to check after the second 'p'rint command that it looks reasonable, before the 'w'rite and 'y'es to confirm.
    3. You will need to reboot after the change, because the disk you are booted from is the one being modified. Reboot will rebuild disk0s4 using the start/end you entered.
    4. Run the dd command - sudo dd if=/dev/rdisk0s4 count=1 2>/dev/null | hexdump -C and check that the first line contains "R.NTFS".
    5. Once you have a working GPT#4, a new hybrid MBR needs to be created which will overwrite what you see in your Fdisk output. This is also done using GPT Fdisk (Gdisk). Your numbers will look different than what are in the following example. In most cases, you will use the default except entry 4, which should have a 'y' for bootable flag.
    sudo gdisk /dev/disk0

  • LR4: tone curve settings lost after upgrade

I've find an annoying bug in this new version that makes me really crazy.
    I've a Nikon D300S and a D7000.
After the importation of the catalog in the new Lightroom 4 all the D7000 .dng files have lost all the tone curve settings (I normally use linear).
The D300S files instead retain the tone curve settings.
It's a very strange behaviour: I've lost more than half of my old photo settings.
    It's really frustrating.
Will be resolve soon this problem?
Until that day, for my older works I'll be obliged to continue to use LR3.

I've probably found a sort of workaround!
I've made some "organized" tests and here I report my findings.
Using LR3.5, I prepared a "test catalog" using 4 images from 7 different cameras (28 images total): for each of them, I used both the original nef and the dng converted file (56 files in the catalog), all develop process was set to "2010".
    The cameras were Nikon D70, D90, D200, D300s, D700, D5000, D7000.
I applied a strong tone curve to each image in a way that the appearance was heavily characterized.
Before exit LR3.5, I SAVED ALL THE METADATA TO THE FILES.
Opening and converting the catalog using LR4, doesn't show any visual change until I zoom in library or open the develop module: both these operation lead to a flat image with the strong tone curve lost.
Curiously, the history retains the original steps but they are ineffective: histogram and tone curve changes according to the visual change but for some camera the "new" tone curve is "medium contrast", for others (D5000, D90) is "linear", for D300s is "custom" (linear with blacks cut at 9.8%, and this explain my initial impression that D300s's curves were untouched, sorry). This last behavior may depend on the fact that I've different default develop settings depending on the camera serial number.
Finally, the update to the 2012 process only minimally changes the visual appearance and surely doesn't restore the lost tone curves.
And here is the UNEXPECTED WORKAROUND: doing a READ METADATA FROM FILES IT RESTORES THE TONE CURVES (and the 2010 process)! Upgrading the process to 2012 minimally changes the visual appearance again but now the strong tone curve is present and evident.
