Multiple address between CRM and IS Retail

Hi Gurus,
In CRM we are maintianing multiple address function for 1 BP but Retail does not has, how to link it between CRM and Retail?
regards
Kannan

Hi All,
The major thing is we should not use ISU as stativ and CRM dynalic system. As we all aware When SAP is launching any module or technology its beleives in re-usabilty.
Now the issue data replecation between CRM and ISU-
1. In a utility market if the customer, retailer and the network operator initiate any business flow they should start with CRM as CRM is handling FOP part.It means CRM has not only build only for ISU.
2. In ISU before billing so many things is getting triggered - like new connecion,transfer,move-in,move-out etc....these process cant be done with the CRM business module as I mentioned earlier CRM is not only designed for IS-U
So for a smoother process and with proper business SAP introduced CRM IS-U.
Without replacting the data between CRM and IS-U we cant process the steps which will at last billed a customer.

  • Why replicate Master Data between CRM and IS-U?????

    Hello colleagues,
I am at a customer who is already replicating Business Partner and Contract Accounts between CRM 5.0 and IS-U (ECC 6.0).
He is using CRM IC WinClient where most of the processes are implemented as transaction calls in IS-U.
There is a possibility to replicate all objects (Accounts, Connection Objects and Installations) but what is the purpose of doing it.
Could anybody tell me what is the advantage of replicating all objects and having them redundant?
    Why to replicate?
I just found information on how to replicate but not why.
Thank you very much for your help in advance,
    Edgar Kauter

  • Need to transfer field KLABC (ABC Classification) between CRM and R/3

    Hello Group,
We plan to make the R/3 field KLABC (ABC Classification) of a customer (R/3 Table KNVV, Attribute KLABC) available in SAP CRM under Customer's sales area data. It should also be maintainable in SAP CRM.
After some analysis we found out, that this field also exists in SAP CRM (Table SMOKNVV, Attribute KLABC) but it is not replicated between CRM and R/3 (and vice versa). Also this field is not displayed in SAP GUI as well as not in the PCUI.
Now we are analyzing the two options:
    1) Make KLABC from table SMOKNVV available in SAP CRM (and PCUI) for maintenance and extend the Middleware to enable the replication of KLABC between CRM and R/3
    2) Extend the customers sales area data in CRM (PCUI) by a new attribute „ZKLABC“ and extend the Middleware to enable replication between R/3 KLABC and the newly created ABC attribute in CRM
    We have the following questions:
    - What would be the better & easier approach ? Any recommendation or comment is highly appreciated.
    - If we choose option 2, to what extend would the SAP CRM Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEWB) support this development (Is it possible to extend the business partners sales area data with EEWB ? Does the EEWB also extend BDocs if you add new fields to Business Partner tables ?)
    Background Information:
We have SAP CRM 4.0 SP8, R/3 4.7 and SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0
    Thanks a lot for help,
    Erik

    Hello Frédéric,
no, I do not have the middleware enhancement guide. Do you have it electronically and could send it to me erikmueller (at) gmx.de ?
In CRM would make the field KLABC from table SMOKNVV available in PCUI? Or would you use the Easy Enhancement Workbench to introduce a new field?
Either way I the middleware would need to be enhanced, but I would like to understand what is easier in CRM to have the field available in PCUI.
    Thanks for the info.
    Regards,
    Erik

  • Steps involved in setting up communication between CRM and R3 / ECC

    Hi all,
Can you please tell what are the steps involved in setting up communication between CRM and R3 or ECC.
I know that initially logical systems, RFC connections and other technical settings need to be done by Basis consultants.
From a functional consultants viewpoint, what all config settings need to be done so that data transfer between the systems can take place?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
There are a series of steps that are to be done...
These include creating sites and subscription in CRM, setting up filters, and number ranges....
All these are in the connectivity guide C71 and replication guide B09.
Refer C71 first and then B09. These would suffice.
You can get these both in the follwoing reference:
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm
If you dont get, then gimme your email id, i shall forward these docs to you.
Kindly reward with points in case helpful
    Sharif.

  • How does the integration between CRM and SD occur

How does the integration between CRM and SD occur?  Is only via ALE and are there config steps in CRM to ensure the correct data mapping between CRM and SD?
So, if I create an order or quote in CRM how is it then created in SD?  Or do they share the same data store.
    thanks

    Hi John,
Here is good documentation regarding Data Exchange for Sales Transactions: the CRM Enterprise and the ERP System are two different repositories, If you create the Sales Order in CRM then they will be replicated into SD (using CRM Middleware, BDoc's)

  • Need to establish Connection between CRM  and   Virtual Directories.

    Dear All,
I am working for Telecom project.
I have one requirement that we need to establish Connection between CRM and   Virtual Directories.
This is existing in Access management system.( SAP EP environment )
The basic requirement is, with  SAP EP environment we are integrating 8 different application. But for all this Application we have a one more system called Access management system (like Basis in Sap). This will validate the user access and BP(Business Partner ) data for users who logon to a different respective application. For all this applications Company data (Master Data) has to provide from CRM and the changes took place for Company data in CRM will be updated in to Virtual Directories .For this service we need to establish Delta mode connection between SAP CRM and Virtual Directories.
Which is existing in Access management system .
Do we have any standard connectors from SAP CRM to connect and who we can achieve this .
Please let us know..Certainly there will be a reward points
    Thanks & regards.

  • Basic question regarding Contract data exchange between CRM and ERP

    Hi,
    1) At a very general level, can somebody tell me via what technology are contract documents exchanged between CRM and ERP? IDocs, RFC modules or proxies?
    2) Is it possible to sychronise changes in a contract, e.g. if the contract is changes in the ERP system, those changes are auotomatically updated in the CRM contract?
    3) Can somebody point me to any documentation on this?
    Kind Regards,
    Tony.

contracts are exchanged between CRM ans ERP ssytem ny RFC and FM , you use object SALESCONTRACT for this,it is possible to synchronize changes between both the systems

  • Difference between CRM and R/3

    can anyone clarify on these...
What is difference between CRM and R/3
Also about CRM sales order vs R/3 Sales order why we go crm in this case .

First, it is expedient to state that both SAP Business One and SAP R/3 are built on the concept of client/server architecture. So how do they differ? Let's first understand the relationship in a client server setup. A client server is a computer system design standard in which the client machines requests and gets back information from a distribution machine called the server.
SAP Business One as said earlier is based on client/server architecture, howbeit a "2 tier": strictly, clients and server. This technology is often referred to as a fat client. This is because all processing and business logic are carried out on the client.
SAP R/3 is based on a three tier client/server technology. Typically, it is made up of three functionally distinct layers namely: the user interface, business logic and database.
The user interface, which is otherwise known as the presentation server displays the interface for users' communication with the SAP system. It is often referred to as the SAP GUI. As a matter of fact, it is a program called sapgui.exe. The application server is where the business logic and data manipulation takes place. Data processing, SAP administration tasks and client request/feedback management are handled within the business layer. The database layer is synonymous to the database server and it typically acts as a data repository for tables and other database objects and structures.
Ideally, an R/3 system is composed of one database server, one or more application servers and one or more presentation servers. SAP Business One on the other hand is composed of a database server and one or more presentation servers.

  • Link Table between CRM and ERP

    Hi Experts,
Does anyone knows the link table between CRM and ERP for Contact Person (Buss Part) CRM and Contact Person ERP.
In my customer system, contacts are automatically duplicated in CRM.
When you make a change in ERP, this change is automatically done in CRM.
So I suppose that there is a table between the both systems to find the corresponding number...
Thank you for your help and hope my English is good enough to understand :o)
    Best regards,
    Luis.

    Hi Micky,
    Thanks for your answer.
    Unfortunatelly, number are differents...
I move this question to CRM forum ;o)

  • Communication between CRM and ERP for E-commerce scenario

Question more on lines of system architecture design.
We are planning to implement CRM E-commerce and wanted to find out more detail about the communication between CRM and ERP systems. Do they need to communicate in real time for this application, or is it mainly initial and delta loads? Is the amount of data exchanged huge ( necessitating both systems to be on the same network, or can they be on separate geographical locations )?
We also understand that E-commerce can also be done only using ERP. How does that differ from the CRM version?

    Hey Sanket,
Q 1 . Do CRM and ECC need to communicate in real time for Ecommerce application, or is it mainly initial and delta loads
Ans. CRM and ECC communicate using RFC connections which further uses TCP/IP as the protocol. The communication can be both  real time { delta loads} or offline {initial download}.
Q2 .Is the amount of data exchanged huge ( necessitating both systems to be on the same network, or can they be on separate geographical locations )?
Ans. The amount of data can be huge hence its preferable that both systems to be on the same network.
Q 3. We also understand that E-commerce can also be done only using ERP. How does that differ from the CRM version
Ans.Theres no difference functionally  but technically the application connects to the ECC system using JCO to execute all the RFC enabled function modules.
    Warm Regards,
    Sumit

Would you please help me on the following queries:
1/ Can we transform the opportunity (CRM) to a contract in RE-FX module (ERP)?
2/ Is there any link between Product (CRM) and Rental Object (RE-FX)?

  • Different pricing procedure between CRM and ERP

    Hello,
we`re using a CRM system which is connected to a ERP system. As not all pricing conditions from ERP are needed in CRM (an in addition the ERP pricing procedure is very complex), we would like to use a different (with less conditions) pricing procedure ind CRM.
But now, when we transfer an order from CRM to ERP, the pricing procedure from ERP gets downloaded into the order in CRM and the prices are lost. Therefore I have 2 questions:
    1. Is it not possible to have a different pricing procedure in CRM than in ERP?
    2. Is it possible to stop transferring the pricing procedure from ERP back to CRM when transferring orders?
Thank you in acvance for your help
    Jan

    Hi, Jan.
    1. Is it not possible to have a different pricing procedure in CRM than in ERP?
Yes. You can use different  pricing procedure for you business documents.
We use this for quotation management with inergation CRM-ERP.
But, You must use same Condition Types and other objects.
    Denis.
